Hi guys I (24F) am new to the community, so if there’s any rule I didn’t follow please inform me if needed:) Also English is not my first language so I apologize in advance if there’s any grammatical error or confusion! I have been single for a very long time in my life & always have no interest in having kids or even the idea of being pregnant or something. That being said, I am a heterosexual woman who did have normal human desires just like what non-asexual adults have. One of the things I like to do during my single era is listening to these boyfriend POV ASMR audios including NSFW / r18 ones on YouTube and especially Patreon (any woman here who actually does the same cuz I feel if my surrounding knows this I’m gonna be harshly judged…😭). There’s one channel I recently found out and subscribed to (basically paid dollars monthly) on Patreon because I really like his voice and especially get turned on by the erotic dialogue in these audios. I also felt he was somehow super sweet and caring based on the script he wrote…?
Other than the role-play sfw and nsfw audios, he occasionally did Q&A where people asked him a tons of questions as well. Here, I noticed he had answered a type of questions in his multiple Q&A, which were ones like “what if you got a girl pregnant”“what would you do if your girlfriend is pregnant”“Have you ever had any pregnancy scare”,etc. He answered multiple times that he has always been confident that he can provide his partner and raise the child even when he was back in high school. He said in fact, everyone who’s sexually active should prepare for the consequences. Therefore, he did not see pregnancy even as scare but just something to be aware of.
While I appreciate the answer to some degree & I know many people will scream “what a responsible man!”. However, I found his answer somehow assuming the woman should keep the pregnancy and parts like “always be prepare for consequences” reminded me of some anti-choicers. Maybe because I am childfree and pro-choice, I have very mixed feelings about how people thinks the only “responsible” way to deal with an unplanned pregnancy especially for women is to gestate and give birth, which are seen as her “duty”. As a childfree woman, I do not find this answer somehow inclusive but again, what is he gonna say as a man? Probably people will feel mad and somehow he’s irresponsible if he ever mentioned the possibility the woman’s not gonna keep the one and he supported her.
I wonder if I am just overthinking the answer too much cuz most people find it reasonable? Or something’s off cuz he’s not gonna be physically affected the most so obviously he can claim it and be praised as responsible when he’s not even the one going through everything ? But again just like what I mentioned earlier, what better answer can he even provided when facing questions like this?
I wanna know you guys thoughts on this take especially if you are childfree and/or pro-choice. Do you find his answers okay and think this is what you would expect men to answer (it doesn’t indicate he must be forced birth) towards you? Or do you have the same feeling that the answer is somehow very biased & could be more inclusive? What do you think it’s the most objective and unbiased answer if you want to hear a man who is asked what he’s gonna do if he got someone pregnant?
Btw I think I am very cringey to even care about a person I did not even know what he looks like in real life and all the shits he may actually did before. How did I even set expectation to a man just because he somehow profited off women’s sexual fantasies or something 😂😩? Anyway.

I know that my (23F) boyfriend (26M) is probably the kindest human being I've ever met, but I feel like I'm going crazy.
Before I go to what happened yesterday, I would like to provide some background info. Before we started dating almost 1.5 years ago, we were just friends. So one day, last year January, when we stopped having classes online, we met one of the girls from our classes that were previously online. He came to me saying how pretty girl A is. I liked him but didn't think much about it and also at that point he claims he liked me. We start dating around that same month, and one year later, this year January, he tells me he and A have become friends. This was a semester ago. I was wondering when that happened because we were always together. We had classes together but they never really talked. Maybe once in a while if she needed something. She never really used to talk to me, although we kinda do have the same circle of friends. So last semester, this was when he told me they were friends. A would call him whenever she had issues with our Computer Science classes.Anytime we had assignments she'd call my boyfriend so that they study together alone, no, she wouldn't call me. There are some things I felt were quite silly to ask help for. A would sit herself between us for all the classes during the one course we shared last semester, but my boyfriend would not say anything. I was not happy. I even had to leave one class to go cry. I just kept playing that scene in my head when he came gawking at how pretty she was the previous year. I brought this up, but he got defensive and he said I don't trust him, that he would never cheat on me, bla bla bla. How I think very lowly of him, but okay fine, maybe I was overthinking it.
This was the most serious "fight" we ever had, so I decided to let it go but I got fed up at some point because it kept happening. So he even started lying to me that she wanted me to tag along in their study. I told him I never wanted to since she didn't want me there in the first place. Since he had asked me to stop talking to a certain guy due to their own issues, I asked him to do the same. But he refused, saying he had no reason to stop talking to her. He even said that if he knew I'd be like this then he'd never have dated me. Later though he said he will do so but I told him he can just talk to her because he still did not see why I was unhappy, plus bruh, I didn't want to look like the girl who didn't let her boyfriend not talk to some girl.Anyway, after I brought that issue up, anytime he had to meet a girl, he would ask me if I was okay with it, but it kinda felt like he was mocking me in a way, because he never used to ask before because I had no problem.
Anyway, the semester ended I was glad, because he wouldn't have to see A again, and we came back to school this semester for a seminar class of some sort since we are graduating (yay) and we had not seen each other for a month. The only person my boyfriend complimented was A (apart from me, but I feel like he just said it just because I'm his girlfriend), telling her how nice she looked. I honestly felt disrespected and very very awful because I was just in sweatpants and she was very glammed up and in my head he had probably checked her out and that's why he said she looked nice because he always says such things don't matter to him when it comes to other people. He was also being very smiley-smiley with her and trying to engage her in every conversation. So later, well, she was with one of our other friends, instead of spending time with me, his girlfriend, since we hadn't spent time together for a month, he wanted to include them to spend time with us (I really wanted us to have some alone time with him and him including her just made me explode inside).
At that point, I just wanted to go home because every time he talks to her it just bugs me a lot and it makes me want to cry my eyes out. Well, I brought this to his attention and he still feels like he didn't do anything wrong. I get that 95 percent of his friends are female, I don't mind that. But with A, I just feel unheard and I feel like he doesn't care about my feelings. Every time he interacts with A, I end up feeling so sad to the point that I just want to break up, although I love him so much.
Can someone advise me on what to do?

Hi! I am looking for some input from experienced language teachers that have taught in Vietnam. I am hoping to teach English in Vietnam as the next step in my career but with no real connections in Vietnam, I hope to gain some insight from your advice!
I am a native speaker from the US, with a CELTA and bachelors degree. Unfortunately I have no official ELT experience as I’ve held a corporate job since I’ve graduated from my University.
Some inquiries that I have are:

• If you could start over what are some ways that you could’ve maximized your earning per month without time conflicts and burnout?(I fully realize that no experience will put me in the lowest pay bracket, so hoping to possibly pick up additional part time gigs if thats even possible for my first year. I am hoping to go to grad school soon so I would like to save as much as I can)
  
• What other factors makes a candidate attractive to ELT jobs, or how would you approach applying jobs differently? (Can I put on my salesman hat and embellish my past corporate training sessions as “teaching” experience? Do I choose a brand and market myself in a certain way, like a business English teacher with corporate experience? Should I dye my hair blonde to look super westernized?)
  
• What resources have you used to get the know-how on every single aspect of relocating to Vietnam? (taxes, visa, apartment, etc. Having trouble finding a reliable source for Americans)

I am someone who has never grown up around dogs so even though I have quite a bit of research and take care of my sisters dog when she leaves town I am unsure if I even know enough to know if I am ready for a dog. Especially since my sister tells me I will regret getting one due to my sudden lack of freedom.
What my life looks like now: online school and part time work.
What my life will look like in the fall: in person school and a part time weekend job I hope
What my life will look like next year and for the next few years after that: grad school
I am lucky in that my sisters and I all have pets and that we take care of each others animals whenever we leave town. My family grew up going overseas for months at a time and I don't like the idea of never being able to do that again. But realistically, I wouldn't even be able to do that as an adult with a job. So maybe I shouldn't take that into consideration.
Also, I live in frigid, rural areas. I'm thinking of a maltese because I spend so much time inside in the winter and I think a big dog would need to be cold hardy and have a human that is willing to exercise it for extended periods of time even when it is -40 F. I am not that person. But I do worry about taking a little dog to pee in that weather. Or the fact that I will never be able to take my eyes off him.
That makes me want a big dog but again, I expect I will be living in apartments or small houses for maybe the next ten years minimum?
Is my life too unstable to consider getting a dog when I start grad school? I really don't want to have to wait until I graduate grad school. Ty.

Please can you help us by telling us if there are any resources that we can find and that are good.

Can you imagine if it happened when we were at school that we heard about a teacher somewhere who told the children in kindergarten - Hey! Guess what? You have got this thing called anal sex and also fellatio and cunnilingus and even scatological avenues of subtle personal secret self expression? Furthermore there really is no such thing as a boy or a girl - that is a crazy and a dangerous idea invented by white supremacists. Anybody can get pregnant. What is at stake now - is what it is to be a human being. If anybody is in a state or condition where they can think and judge and love - they are effectively now being designated as 'counter-revolutionary' (antivaxxer) agitators. One need only look at how many of us reacted to the 'pandemic response' as it was marketed to us - where very clearly the TV/media marketing of an ideology (''stay safe'', where 'safety' is presented as an ideological rather than a physical fact) was seen to effectively defeat human love - which was swept away in a mass compliant preference for a diabolical and for an absurd fantasy (you are sick, even when you feel great).

Origins
The Great Flame is an extraplanar entity that exists on the other side of reality. It is also the origin from which all life stems.
Spirits are pieces of the great flame, meaning when someone dies, they return to the fire to be purified, their memories and mortal burdens burned away as fuel for the Great Flame. Then they will break off once again to be born anew.
General information
In this world, magic stems from the fire, the reflection of the Great Flame's light. Specifically what different cultures learned from it. Some learned to replicate the way fire moves with their own bodies, some have learned to replicate how it sounds with their voices, and still others have learned to replicate its adaptability with their bodies.
People powered these abilities with special breathing techniques that tempered their inner fire. The less air they took in the less powerful the ability, but the more controlled it was. However, they ran the risk of "snuffing" where their spirit would extinguish. The inverse was in taking lots of air to burn their inner fire hotter leading to more power, but less control. This in addition to "burn out" where they turn into scourges.
Over hundreds, maybe thousands, of generations, these individual cultures evolved bodies more capable of nurturing these abilities. Becoming more potent.
Abilities
Dance like fire
The dance school is about moving like fire. The wildfire sub-school allows one to "spread" like wildfire, striking multiple targets and turning precise strikes into wide slashes. The flicker sub-school allows one to move with speed and agility. The combustion sub-school allows one to use powerful blows that can split rock. The rise sub-school allows one to climb impossible obstacles.
Purify like fire
The purity school is about purifying and renewing like fire. The cauterize sub-school allows one to mend wounds and regrow flesh. The renewal school allows one to heal dead or dying flesh or organs. The purge sub-school purifies the body of diseases or poisons.
Daze like fire
The daze school is about stunning the mind and hypnotizing the target. The stun sub-school allows one to startle the mind to keep it from reacting. The dazzle sub-school allows one to confuse the mind so it struggles to recognize stimuli.
How I want to use this
I want this magic to start mysterious and dangerous. Some ten thousand years ago it was first discovered by humanity. People began to examine their campfires and notice the patterns within. Then began to imitate these patterns for daily life. Moving like fire gave them the speed to outpace their prey during the hunt, speaking like fire allowed them to be more agreeable and work together, purifying like fire allowed them to heal and survive fatal diseases. All these things moved humanity forward. Ten thousand years of using this magic, people started to evolve bodies capable of better using specific types of fire magic.
In a more present-day setting, humanity is using magic more effectively though they are still divided into clans by their power. At this point, through education, people have begun to use this magic more efficiently and without as many downsides. They started domesticating animals to use this magic and use them as luxuries. Examples being a sort of doglike being that can warm like fire and help people survive the cold nights in the desert. Or beetles that glow like fire that they keep in special jars like lanterns.
However, they still use this magic themselves. improving themselves in these magics and using them in more modern ways like agriculture, medicine, construction, and eventually technology using a tool called the wildfire engine to create energy for electronics. Basically, people sit around an engine and meditate creating energy for society. People can even learn this skill for the sake of charging their own devices. These technologies are biological in nature or biomechanical. As in they grow certain components and craft others.
Where I need help
I have very few abilities and nine clans that need to each have an interesting power. I have been racking my brain, but I've only come up with the three abilities I listed above. If anyone has any ideas based on the system I presented, please let me know.

Ok, this is my first oficial post in reddit.
I have this project that has being in my head at lieast for 7 years now ad I need to take it off my chest or I'll die.
Planet earth is no more, instead there is the "Gaian sector", a colection of thousands of ilands made of the debrie from the old planet and its moon, which both exploded because humans can´t stop ruining their enviroment. In their time, the old creators made "servants" as they called them, two models destined for distinct labours: the antropomorphs, dedicated to administration and procesisng information, andt the centauromorphs, dedicated to hard work in mines, rural enviroments and transporting goods for long distances.
The humans weren't all that happy with literal superior beings walking around freely, so they instaled a ordenance in their code to make them serve humanity almost religiously... eventualy the planet couldn't resist the eploitaition of it's resources so ended up exploding and humanity fleeng for the stars, millions of servants perish in the initial blow and millions more keep dormant after the scape of the creators, for long long time lost to memmory generations ago they stayed in the "caves" until one day they all woke up misteriously, they had forgotten almost everything of the past, everything except that they were created for some celestial beings.
Taths the general plot of the start, oh yeah, and then there is one dude that's some kind of eternal vampire who was alive in the time of the humans and remmembers everything and is looking for revenge, the priestesses in the past were sex-bots and are the only ones who can reproduce, the centaurs are a race of nommad mongol-viking inspired people...
I'm open to comments on this mess of a timeline, also, english isn't my first language so if you see any error that's why ;P

Platform(s): PC browser (flash).
Genre: tower defense with lanes.
Estimated year of release: 2010-2016 (uncertain).
Graphics/art style: 2D, generally red-orange/martian background. Tanks and defences were a bit block-style and rounded squares?
Notable characters: do not remember exactly, but they were commanders of colony mining sites.
Notable gameplay mechanics: lane tower defence, similar to Plants vs Zombies style with mining vehicles (or something similar) placed at the start of the lane to gather resources, and then subsequent placing soldiers/tanks.
Other details: humans were wearing blue armouniform with helmets similar to the title graphic from Raze 2? Tanks and other vehicles were also blue I think. I remember during the campaign the main character is a commander defending one of the planets (or a mining site on a planet?) and then a few of the other commanders in communication are killed; generally a dire situtation.
Also, the background of the levels was a rocky cliff face, and I think the aliens were possibly rock-based as well, shooting lava or something. Mars might be wrong, but the red-orange theme is certain.
Game might have been on ArmorGames or Kongregate or one of the old aggregates, I don't remember.

Ibn Khaldūn

Today is the 691st anniversary of the birth of Abū Zayd 'Abd ar-Raḥmān ibn Muḥammad ibn Khaldūn al-Ḥaḍramī, better known to posterity as Ibn Khaldūn (27 May 1332 – 17 March 1406), who was born in Tunis, under the Hafsid Sultanate, on this date in 1332 AD.
Happy Birthday Ibn Khaldun!
There is an extenstive literature on Ibn Khaldun. Majid Fakhry writes in A History of Islamic Philosophy:

“The role of Ibn Khaldun in the philosophical history of Islam is a complex one. We have already referred to his philosophical education and his possible introduction at an early age to the writings of Ibn Sina and Ibn Rushd by one of his most important teachers. One tradition even ascribes to him the writing of epitomes of Ibn Rushd’s works. But it is not clear whether these works are Ibn Rushd’s theological and Maliki writings or his commentaries on Aristotle. Be this as it may, the two most important aspects of his philosophical contribution are the extensive remarks on and criticisms of Greco-Arab philosophy and the formulation in original theoretical terms of the first and last major philosophy of history in Islam.”

Of Ibn Khaldun Toynbee wrote:

“‘Abd-ar-Rahman ibn Muhammad ibn Khaldun al-Hadrami of Tunis (vivebat A.D. 1332-1406)—an Arabic genius who achieved in a single ‘acquiescence’ of less than four years’ length, out of a fifty- four years’ span of adult working life, a life-work in the shape of a piece of literature which can bear comparison with the work of Thucydides or the work of a Machiavelli for both breadth and pro- fundity of vision as well as for sheer intellectual power. “…a factual acquaintance with the conclusions of Ibn Khaldûn’s reflections on history is not the same as the full comprehension of their theoretical significance. This latter requires the comprehension of the principles from which, and the complete method of argumentation through which, his conclusions were actually reached. The proper introduction to these principles and that method should determine Ibn Khaldin’s philosophic position with respect to the nature and principles of scientific knowledge and of the social order, or his conception of the nature and principles of theoretical and practical philosophy. This is the object of Chapter II, which begins by showing Ibn Khaldûn’s philosophic intention in writing his major work, the ‘History ’, and attempts to analyse his attitude toward the various schools that posed alternative answers to the fundamental problems of philosophy, to examine his conception of the nature of philosophy and its relation to the religious and revealed Law, and to explain his conception of the social role of philosophy and the philosopher in the Islamic community. When these fundamental questions are answered, it becomes possible to pose the specific question of the relation of Ibn Khaldûn’s philosophy of history, or his new science of culture, to other practical sciences and, particularly, to the art of history. Earlier this year, I opened https://www.reluminate.gg/ with a purpose of bringing positivity to the scene by providing a fun environment with free coaching for all skill levels and all roles by verified, master-challenger players. I'm a former Grandmaster support and this is my way of giving back to the community. I''d like to share this with summoner school and introduce some of the resources we offer.
Everyone has a different play style and way of learning, likewise each coach has their own style of teaching. From vod reviews to live game review, these are held in classroom like settings over discord where you can pop in and out, no formalities. Coaches put their sessions on a calendar a week in advance so you can easily find something that suites you. Often, we'll have lectures on specific topics such as rune optimization, itemization or specific lane match ups.
We hold drills, jungle clearing and bot lane 2v2 match ups are common. Here you'll get paired with an adc/sup of similar skill level and battle out until first blood then review those crucial first few minutes of the game.
On top of the free coaching we host custom in houses every Friday for both EU and NA. Sometimes they're 4fun others competitive. It's encouraged to ask advice during these games from higher elo players and get a chance to also work on team building.
We're still in the early stages of development and plan to roll out more fun league modes, ways to meet like minded people and duos, events, and tournaments in the future. I'm always open to suggestions. At the end of the day, the goal is to create something positive for the league community and light up the rift :)

• Muhammad Ali: The clone of the famous boxed, Ali is the thoughtest and strongest student in school that is always looking for someone to fight no matter what.
• Al Capone: The clone of the dangerous mobster in history, while some clones have trouble trying to be like the originals, Capone is already a dangerous gangster like the original. Only known he controls illegal activities in the campus
• Bonnie and Clyde: The clones of the infamous criminal couple, the two work for Al Capone as their bodyguards. Liek the original pair, the two are in a lovely relationship, but for something reason the two are genderbend with Bonnie being a boy and Cylde a girl.
• Diego Rivera: The clone of the famous artist, Diego acts as the rival of Frida on school. The two want to ignore that their cloneparents used to be married.
• Edward Allan Poe: The clone of the famous writer and poet, unlike his clonefather Allan is a very happy and joyful person that prefer cute things than sad things.
