TLDR and my log is at the end.
Hi all just wanted to share my breakthrough regimen that has resulted in excellent improvements in sexual function as well as some improvement in the anhedonia category. The anhedonia i believe is not caused by PSSD or it had very little to do with it. Regardless, it does seem to have improved mostly the feeling of being able to connect with females. I was targeting sexual function improvements. I took a combination of E2 injections, E2 gel and hops supplement. Everything else had been stable for a minimum of 6 months. Attached a document below that i recorded my trial on. It's now been a month+ since i last used E2 and very rarely do i take hops anymore. Improvements have stuck and seem to be getting better. Big improvements in erection quality, sensitivity and less so in libido.

I'll try to quantify the improvements but its difficult. As always things will fluctuate based on other factors like sleep, attractiveness of girl, mood that day, stress etc. The "Before" will be my baseline which was a combination of various supplements and medications. The heavy hitters are TRT (~125mg/week split into 2 doses Monday and Thursday), bromantane, NA Semax, selegiline in no particular order. Viagra is often used before sex as well. After my E2 trial i no longer need viagra all the time. Normally I am having sex almost daily which can be a bit taxing on the body i think. The sensitivity improvements are problematic on occasion. It becomes difficult to continue to have sex and i have to use tricks and techniques to not cum too quickly. I dont wish to try E2 again for the time being as the increased sensitivity causes issues.
The lower the score the worse it is. 1/10 sensitivity would be near total genital numbness and no pleasure.10/10 would be pre-PSSD levels for me that align with the best I've felt in my life in that area. It's not the most scientific approach if anyone has a proper form to fill out for recovery I could give it a go.

Just applied 1.25g (0.75mg of 17 β estradiol) gel to test the waters about 40 minutes ago. will see if there's any effects i wont be doing a proper trial (following sweaty's pdf) because there's too many restrictions. will try with the gel for now and then move to injections later perhaps Some background: Ive been on trt for 2-3 years already. I've had PSSD for ~3 years from prozac (fluoxetine). Ive tried many things to see what will work for me. I would say I experienced a 30-40% improvement from baseline with my current regimen. The best window I ever had was my initial dose of proviron which prompted me to give this theory a shot. This lasted 2 days or so. I felt like a God every aspect was improved. It wasn't a manic phase though. Current regimen (the heavy hitters): TRT ~125mg/week No HCG NA Semax 300-600mcg/day Bromantane varying dosages Selegiline 1.25mg/day sublingual Various other supplements that I dont think matter all that much. Sexmas, Bromantane, Selegiline were all added individually after 1-2month minimum baseline was established. (edited)

Update 2: Around 9 hours since application. No changes, no improvements/side effects. Had sex with viagra as normal. Seemed to have better sensitivity, bit more libido than yesterday. No crazy improvements though. My sexual function fluctuates ive had days like this before. If i could have this level of function consistently though that'd be a marked improvement.

Update 6: Injected 1mg of estradiol benzoate. Today was also my day for TRT injection. 1 hour in feel more sensitivty, hard flaccid type dick (this a positive). dick feels more full. It persisted for a few hours then declined. Had great sex, increased sensitivity, more libido. Maybe a 15% improvement so far over baseline so far. I might have some degree of anhedonia. I believe ive had it since a young age before ssri though. I cant feel love/connections but again a problem since i was young. Still can feel a range of emotions but im mostly in the middle not many ups and downs. Cognitive im fine. No changes there. Bromanatane and semax helped my cognitive aspects already. Still on those.

Update 10: Today is day 7 of no E2 injections. I have been taking hops before sleeping on occasion the last few days. Performance is better than normal for sure. Maybe a 15% improvement for erection quality and sensitivity has stuck so far at this point. I will be starting NAC+Sarcosine tomorrow
Final update 28/4/2023 – I have been on NAC+Sarcosine and around 900mg of hops per day. It has been 4 weeks since I began E2 or hops. Sensitivity improvements have stayed. Better erections, slightly more libido. Libido is still low otherwise I am very happy with my improvements.

After patch 1.19 update!!!
I am reposting this, because it sums up my thoughts so far on the game from my own experiences, but i am enjoying the game now, and feel bad about all those low reviews they got at launch week, even though it sorta made sense. I made a nice review of the game on the JB website today, as i think a fair chunk of people are actually fond of Big Ant because a lot of people enjoyed AFL Live in 2011 and all the cricket games they made and want to see them do well. So think it'd be good to have a thread where people are having fun with the game :)
"My hot take, and everyone is different in regarding their thoughts on a game, any game.
So, it's up to patch 1.19 and it's far better than launch day week. It's really getting there and would say as it stands now, is sort of like a Fifa 21 style AFL game, so it's good. But it got hammered by reviews and negativity in that first two week period, and look, probably rightly so, Remember that they uploaded a game that broke on install/upload, it stripped the coding, and they had to slowly fix it, so it wasn't the game they intended to release, but anyway, as for right now, The positives:

1. Graphics are smooth, players, stadiums, grass, crowd, signage etc..very good!
2. Gameplay is way better now. Handballs have a good 360 degree/circle disposal arch now and go where you want it to. Mostly.
3. Kicking, short kicks using (x) is good, have no issues and it's enjoyable finding the open player that you are aiming for. Long kicks are fine, allows for a simple grab on the lead, push (L2) + (Triangle) and you can take a speccy, just need to time your run to the pack.
4. Goal kicking animation bar has been improved with wind direction graphics and feels more satisfying.
5. Snap kicks on the boundary look and feel great.
6. Spoiling is really satisfying, time your run and press spoil and it's another satisfying option to try.
7. The player animations, movements are improved and look smooth/fluid. I think they will add more to this over time.
8. Centre bounces are fun, push (R2) and tap it out further to advantage.
9. Community option in menu allows you to download custom made stadiums and jumpers, so Tassie Devils, Waverly Park, Suniaco Oval, The Bat-Cave.
10. The commentary is really well edited in, and that is hard to explain until you play it, meaning the comments are usually pretty precise, relevant and have an element of realism and flow that's better than past games have ever achieved.
11. Use (Ball-Trail) in settings, in-game. It's a tail/trail that hangs off the ball and allows you to see ball direction with more scope and accuracy, highly recommend this feature being turned on.
12. I recommend (side-normal) camera angle. Looks like a TV broadcast side angle and is my favourite, but you may prefer other angles.

Negatives:

1. Hard can be really tricky, but it might just need a lot of practice to master i guess. Easy is sometimes too easy, but it's usually against a much lower rated side.
2. I think they are tweaking around with the easy/medium/hard modes, as it's difficult to get right for an AFL game.
3. Management mode needs some work
4. Tactics is still being worked on to be included
5. Am assuming sliders will arrive at some point
6. still some bugs, such as, when lining up for goal, the player walks through a defender standing on the mark, like a ghost. Another would be a random hand-handball travelling 50 metres. But overall, it's good, mostly. Also, when your player is on the mark in defence sometimes they are locked into that position for too long before running off the mark(in my opinion). Also, sometimes there feels like a circle/barrier surrounding the opposing player, where you can't run to them right away, like a two second delay to run for a tackle or spoil, not always, but at certain moments.
7. The crashes are far less frequent, i've had 1 blue screen in the last week, where as in the first week it was crashing every game.
8. players, goal umpires sometimes look like they are sliding and not walking, definitely something to look at fixing.

Conclusion: The game they released was stripped of coding at launch and BA were going through disaster recovery and had a fair bit of fixing to do. But by the time it's out on Xbox, it'll definitely be worth getting. As it's good right now, at version 1.19, and i imagine by the time Xbox gets it, just say it's 1.30+ or something, then it'll be even better.
At launch: my rating would be 1/10(broken), right now a glowing 7/10 with the negatives i mentioned to be worked on, potentially an 8/10 sports game on par with the Fifa 16-21 series games and can only improve from here with regular updates.
Also, one thing people might be missing in all this, is that Big Ant are the premiere sporting game design company in the southern hemisphere, they have made Don Bradman, Ashes cricket, Cricket 17/19/22/24, AO Tennis, Rugby League Live 1/2/3/4, Lacrosse 18, and now they've returned to AFL, they made AFL Live in 2011 for those who have forgotten, and i think they are the company you want making a sports game for your sporting code, even though the AFL23 launch was a disaster, they've really worked hard at fixing things quickly. That aside. It's a point i wanted to make.
Unless EA, Ubisoft or 2K are willing to do it. Then you won't get a lot better than Big Ant doing it, for a league that only exists in one country and is dominated by 2 states. Obviously you just need to be a little patient with the updates rolling in, and they are rolling in daily."....

My ex (27f) and I (34m) started dating on December 11th 2022.
We became very close very fast, to the point she would spend nearly every night at my house even accompany me on a 4 day vacation I was originally going to go on wlone.
We have had numerous arguments mostly from a lack of boundaries, high expectations, and her viewing sex as transactional (former stripper).
While I've had my own issues, such as over texting, over reacting, calling when she wants time to figure things out. My ex is often very quick to anger, will often to threaten to leave if I talk about an issue or my feelings.
We've been broken up since early April. From there she did not pull down social media photos or block me, she kept allowing me or engaging in hanging out with me. Alluding to hope we could fix things, I've done numerous things to do what she's asked to change my behaviors that are problematic. She doesn't really compromise on any of hers. I've forgiven her for actions, she says she forgives me.
A weekend prior to this one, she had shown up solo to my work party and I ended up talking to her. She came to my house we had a fun night, then we discussed our breakup and what she needed. She told me how she loved me more than anyone and cares and eventually wants to be with me.
She promised we would be exclusive during this period while she gets it together and figures things out. We spent that Thursday til last Monday together.
On Tuesday I call her to try and cheer her up because she's having money problems, I offer to help her by paying her to do some work for me and I also send her 100 on venmo for free
She explains she's going to do postmates, I say ok, full well knowing she's most likely going to audition at a strip club. When i say that she's made me wait for 3 hours to get the answer that she won't be coming to help me. She gets upset saying I'm purposefully trying to make her feel bad. I ask for a short 5 min phone call. She won't give it to me, and is sending short dismissive texts and blaming me for "all our calls are long"
Throughout the night I call it that she's lying, she eventually answers a call from me around 1241 saying she doesn't have to tell me anything. (This is directly after she had told me were exclusive the weekend prior I even make mention of this) I had planned to tell her I knew she was doing a stripping audition and it's okay on the phone.
I find myself anxious and upset, and I decide that this breakup has been very drawn out and I'm going to drop her contacts off the next day. As I drive by her house I see a man leaving. I take a picture and send it to her on instagram
She eventually talks to me comes clean that she got the real job she wanted but went to a stripping audition last night, got the job there too but she qont be taking the job as a stripper. Then explained she went to the bar we met at and ended up hanging out with a guy and doing cocaine. She claims her and this man only made out for a minute or so, no cuddling cause she felt weird then he left.
She comes to my house and tries to make things better, we eventually get hot and heavy and I say 'it was only kissing?' Figuring that if this is what she needed to know she needs to be with me, fine.
She confirms it wasn't only kissing and if it wasn't she wouldn't have sex with me because that would be messed up.
I end up contacting the guy on instagram (she told me his name, and I have seen him at the bar before. Very easy to find his ig) he says she's telling the truth.
I try to talk to my ex, she's being very angry that I'm pushing the conversation of if it's the real truth and why does she keep flip flopping back snd forth between being in love and pushing me away and now light cheating.
Later I talk to the guy she cheated with, and get out of him that they did more than just kiss, and that they just didn't have sex because of cocaine making it so he can't get hard.
I immediately tell my ex how she's a lying mean person for doing all this, and not only lying to begin with but to get mad at me about telling her she's lying even more.
Since then, we've been hanging out and I have been trying to push it aside and think "well if this is what she needed to know she wants to be with me"
Now she's telling me that she wants to remain single, but loves and cares about me and I'm the best sex and am so much more attractive etc. But she wants to be single because I'm "too sensitive" and says now it'll be annoying because I will want to know where she is or who she's with, which I explain is entirely her doing for breaking the trust.
Before this the reason was her "not feeling safe" which she feels safe with me now..
What am I dealing with here? I've been very kind to this woman, I've spent thousands on her, I've excused bad behavior, I've treated her like a queen. She won't let me go, but she won't be with me, and now she's suito cheating
There's lots of details outside of just this, but it feels like I'm in a catch 22 nothing will make this woman see reason and she tends to blame me for everything..

I'm going to try to be as descriptive as possible with the issues I encountered in case some other poor soul is in the same situation and googling for help.
Background: I have a Prime X670E-Pro Wifi, and I almost exclusively use Bluetooth for audio since i'm in a small shared space with my GF. I dual boot Windows and Linux. Two days ago, I boot up my linux installation (Arch Linux with Plasma KDE). Kernel Panic during boot. Reboot, manage to log in to my desktop, mouse doesn't work, keyboard is unresponsive. Reboot again. Mouse position updates once every 5-10 seconds. After about 2 minutes of me googling the issue on my phone, my machine reboots on its own. I go into my BIOS and load fail safe defaults. Kernel panic persists. Boot into windows, no performance issue, but bluetooth is disabled. Tried re-pairing my bluetooth devices, no joy. Can't remove the bluetooth devices, and as far as Windows is concerned, I don't even have a bluetooth adaptor installed, it's missing/hidden in device manager.
I reinstall bluetooth drivers, no joy. Device Manager is showing an unknown USB Device, description failed, I remove all USB devices connected to my machine, save for keyboard and mouse. Unknown USB device persists in Device Manager. Try to reinstall linux, installer crashes. Switch thumb drive I use for the installer, installer crashes before I can even get to a live session. Back to windows, try a different writing utility, different linux distribution, windows explorer crashes while formatting my thumb drives. Switch drives from front panel USB to ports on the back of my motherboard. Now I'm able to format the drives. I update the BIOS to the latest revision released on the 25^th. I do some more googling, find a Windows forum post for Windows 11 Bluetooth failure on an ASUS B550-E motherboard.
There is a comment from user jbsan3, written in french to which the english language replies are indicating that the fix works. Fortunately another user, Zeaig, translates the fix:

@jbsan3 had the correct answer but I will translate for him, Shut down your PC and unplug it from the power cable for about 1m until the power fully cycles out of the motherboard. Plug it back in and turn your PC back on and the Bluetooth should show up in the Device Manger and become detected by your PC again.

In short, completely power cycle your machine. Switch off the power supply/unplug the computer, hold down the power button to ensure the caps are drained, then reconnect the power.
After testing on my Prime X670E Pro Wifi, this fix does work. Not only is bluetooth now working again in Win11, but my linux installation is now behaving normally as well. Neither Windows, nor linux are indicating a USB device enumeration failure, nor any USB failures.
3 Days ago (the night before the failure), my apartment block suffered a power outage. My machine is on a UPS, so I'm not entirely sure if my powered off computer also experienced the outage or not.
It seems that whatever the cause, Bluetooth adaptor failure/disappearing is just the most visible symptom, and that completley power cycling the board is a fix. How permanent the fix is remains to be scene.

TO ALL STUDENTS: Avoid renting an apartment from TREMONT, THE BRYN, or THE POINTE in State College, or any property managed or owned by CARDINAL GROUP COMPANIES or GREYSTAR, or KEYSTONE PROPERTIES in all states! These are predatory businesses, that target college students. Although GREYSTAR reflects a "warning" on their website to avoid any association with properties that prohibit potential Tenants from viewing their apartment before Leasing, that is exactly what GREYSTAR employees do! THE BRYN at 601 VAIRO BLVD in State College, Pennsylvania is a "slum property", and so is THE POINTE at 501 S. VAIRO. They forbid potential Tenants from viewing apts before paying them multiple months of rent in advance, and signing a Lease. They only allow the view of a "Model", which is nothing like the actual apartments that look like "crack-houses". They scam people by making false representations about the true conditions of the apartments. Their Marketing Manager is WENDY DONOVAN. She lies to potential Tenants about everything. She has also stated that they will not, under any circumstance, allow potential renters to see their apartment before they actually take possession of it, even if the apt is vacant. THE POINTE'S Regional Manager is ZACH LOVETT. He carries out the same RACKETEERING SCAM that CARDINAL GROUP does at THE BRYN and TREMONT, both on VAIRO.
These properties will lie to potential Tenants and say there is only 2 apts left and they need to put a deposit/sign a lease fast to ensure they have an apt. They'll ask for approximately 3 months rent, or multiple months, in far advance. In the Illinois case, the VICTIMS discovered that they'd paid for an apartment that did not exist, on the day the Victim Tenant moved-in. The apt was uninhabitable! There was Black Mold throughout, filthy, black carpets, although the Marketing Manager, KATIE LIBERMAN LOVETT said that the apt and ALL apts are "deep steam cleaned". She and other staff make false claims about doing extensive cleaning to avoid COVID-19 exposure, especially if a previous Tenant vacated in a short period of time before the new Tenant(s) moved in. This is also false! These misstatements and misrepresentations are all part of their scheme to defraud. THE POINTE does the very same thing. Although they are owned and managed by different companies, ZACH LOVETT, THE POINTE'S Regional Mgr. and KATIE LIBERMAN LOVETT, CARDINAL GROUP'S former Marketing Mgr at THE BRYN and current employee of CARDINAL GROUP, are married, and carried out the same scheme to defraud.
These predatory businesses will take their time to repaireplace old, non-working appliances. THE BRYN had ALL non-working appliances at the time the Plaintiff in the Illinois lawsuit moved in, although they claimed that they had ALL updated and up-to-date appliances. Their webpage reflects that as well, but the appliances were 25-27 years old and NOT working. CARDINAL GROUP staff will then tell Tenants, "Too bad! You signed a Lease! Pay us or we'll send you to collections!"
They will also delete Tenants MAINTENANCE WORK ORDERS so that there is not a "paper trail" and no evidence, in their efforts to further their scheme to defraud.
THE BRYN, along with it's Owner, HAIM SABAN, CARDINAL GROUP COMPANIES, CARDINAL GROUP MANAGEMENT, and the CEO, ALEX O'BRIEN, KATIE LIBERMAN LOVETT, and VALERIE HERRERA are being sued in the state of Illinois, Federal Court Northern District of Illinois, Case# 1:21_CV- 4324. HERRERA is a CARDINAL GROUP MGMT. employee and worked/works at THE BRYN.
If you're a Penn State student, or you know of any student who has been been defrauded / scammed by these people / predatory businesses, contact PSU's Student Legal Services. Do not contact LAURA ROBBINS, Attorney in State College. She has claimed that she "handled" legal disputes on behalf of THE BRYN. She's also a liar. Beware of Attorneys that don't "sound right". It is also important that those who have been scammed by these people, file an online Complaint with the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office. It takes about 7 minutes to complete!

A quick "google search" or accessing their website, go in the upper-left-hand corner, enter "State College" in the Search bar. There, you can see some current cases. You can contact them directly as well. That online Complaint is important! They can't do anything unless they know about it.
****Most important: Know your state's eavesdropping/tape-recording laws! If you do business with these slumlords & fraudsters, make sure you tape-record every communication with them. Courts and Jurys love tape-recorded evidence; it's indisputable!

So most of the time I’m playing a few games here and there on my downtime like COD, Spider-Man, Arkham Knight, GTA and while I have upgraded my graphics card recently, I’m experiencing short screen blackouts.
My best way to describe it is when in game, the screen just blacks out for a second or two and the game I’m playing will come on back on screen. Sometimes it repeats this (annoyingly) and makes gaming unenjoyable….
I’ve tried optimizing settings, updating drivers, etc but this issue is still persistent, should I consider something else to upgrade to make these issues go away or am I missing something else entirely?

After a protection order was placed on myself in May 2022 . No on any grounds of physical abuse, just a general order to be of good nature towards the agreaved. Cool so I leave the marriage and meet a new partner. While still in contact with my wife to arrange time to see my children. Long story short after Christmas my ex wife handed her phone into police to be downloaded. Some of my messages probably weren't of this condition of good nature. Anyway surprise im pulled over and arrested in mid January. Refused bail and held in a remand prison for four months while police organised their brief of evidence. I was able to apply successfully apply for bail this week. BTW prison was fucked.

I desperately clung onto the sport as a means of assimilating into America and the Miami Heat eventually became my refuge, offering newfound community through shared fandom.
Now I’m certainly not the only immigrant to endure hardship and, frankly, my experiences are far from unique. However, throughout my life sports has not only served as a unifying medium, but also as a timestamp, capturing moments meant to be cherished forever.
I have lived through every Heat championship. But in 2006, I was too young to grasp the sport and in 2012 & 2013, I was too naive to appreciate our talent.
Last year was supposed to be our year. And this time I was ready for it. But a failed Game 7 comeback against Boston later, and suddenly it wasn’t. I was crushed. I’m sure many of you were too.
Personally, I wanted the Heat to validate my growth, celebrating the passage of time through a championship run. When we fell short in 2022, I wasn’t sure when we would find ourselves in that position again.
Yet here we are.
Against all odds.
Game 7.
Just like y’all, I want this badly. It hurts watching our 3-0 lead evaporate, especially against this particular Boston team. I’m angry and disappointed and at times outright numb.
Our frenzied fans, who nationally get a bad rap, showed up tonight and deserved a trip to the Finals. Terrible star play proved otherwise. Even a frantic, last-minute rally could not overcome largely lethargic efforts from Butler and Bam. Fuck Derrick White.
But as an avid fan who owes so much to the Miami Heat, I choose to believe.
I choose to believe our Cinderella 8-seed run isn’t over. I choose to believe Butler & Spo won’t oversee the first blown 3-0 lead in NBA history. I choose to believe Miami will channel buzzer-beating heartbreak into a hard-fought win on Boston’s parquet court come Monday night.

Let’s Go Heat!

This isn't a literal toolkit of course, but a collection of resources, plans, media and other items. Also it should be broad, from laid off with some notice, short notice, or none at all/fired - or if you had to switch jobs immediately for some reason. Here are some of the things I've thought of

• Contacts - The easiest way to get a job is through a connection so networking is important. I truly hate it though but I thought of the idea of creating a spreadsheet of my contacts: mostly old co-workers, but it could be friends, acquaintances, maybe a recruiter you spoke with before. I would include their contact info just in case, when I last spoke to them, where they were working when I last spoke to them, or currently are now, where that company is located. And any random notes or details including career stuff, but also maybe any personal life updates they told you about. That will come in handy because I will set a yearly reminder to go through the list and reach out to each person once a year. Just to keep in touch, and there's no doubt that if you speak with the person and ask how the puppy they adopted last year (even remembering the name) will make you like them more.
  
• Keep an updated resume - my least favorite. Most guides don't seem applicable to R&D engineers like myself who usually don't get to see the success of a product because of the long time from concept to production. Basically I have to be a lot more qualitative and that's hard. Maybe updated it once a year? Twice a year? A work journal to track your accomplishments is super helpful with this. Each week I will write down any accomplishments I had that week. It's a lot harder to remember such things when you're looking back on the last 3 years, of your career for example.
  
• New skills learned/projects outside of work - This is somewhat related to the above but if you work on studying and learning something on your own time which you know is a valuable skill to know if your field but you aren't getting it at work. For example I'm working on learning python.
  
• Emergency fund savings - This ones a hard one for me due to my circumstances but you should try your hardest to save up 3-6 months of living expenses. I would say just ignore the possibility of severance or a significant PTO payout, or the amount that unemployment pays (barely enough to cover my rent).
  
• A plan - Might be good to make up a plan ahead of time of what you'd immediately do after said firing or layoff. Maybe the contact info for a lawyer you could call if fired unfairly. Any medical needs you'd want to get taken care of while still on the companies insurance, so a list of things like general checkup, refill prescriptions and try to get as much as possible like a second or thirds month amount prescribed. Maybe look into what insurance options you have ahead of time and if not make a decision save the information or sources where you got them from. An email template to send out to your network notifying them that you are looking for a new position. Links to websites with information you found beforehand about what you should do in this situation. Which contacts you will reach out to first. Other things like I would ask my landlord for a temp rent reduction. Maybe you have to pay them back later or maybe they won't mind keeping you as tenant for a bit less money and just agree to lower the rent for short term.
  

Any good ideas that I'm missing or ways I could improve and refine the above? What would your tool kit look like? For reference I live in a HCOL major American City and I'm single and on the younger side, so that's why you don't see a mention of family or a partner.

I need help with My Moto G Stylus 2022. When I updated magis I accidentally updated it twice and it caused a bootloop. I've tried flashing stock firmware, as I can still access boot menus, but it hasn't worked yet, CMD just gives an error saying file size too large (the phone has 256GB storage) any help would be appreciated. I already have a huge 'to read' list so I probably shouldn't do this, but most of the fics on my list are pretty long, and I just want a few good short ones to hold me over between updates on the few I'm invested in already, without starting another long one.

• I am not usually a fan of AUs but have read a few I really enjoyed, I just want the characters to stay true.
• I can't handle poor writing. I commend those working on it/trying but if the grammaspelling isn't there I just can't focus on the story and enjoy.
• Fake Dating fics are my favorite (I've read IWMITD, Dances With Wolves, and Pacts and Packs)
• Smut or no smut, any rating is fine if it's well done.
• To me "shorter" would be under 50k words, but it's flexible... Also if you have any really good recs of any length, I'm always open. That said, I'm already reading The Dead and the Dancing and Home and Away, have the regularly-recommended Tumultuous Waters and Vero Se on my list, and am patiently awaiting the new updates for AKBAON.

My apologies for asking this, but I overthink alot, and I feel like I am the Ahole. To give some background, I (f26) work in a local owned sport-store. I started working there in the year 2021, and loved all my coworkers and management. Except for one. This coworker is a shiflead in the sports section, let's call him Jack (not his real name. But it's short for Jacka)
So when I got hired, there was another female (#1) in my department (clothing) who worked with me, she left not even three months. Due to Jack's word of her's, she was dismissed and sent home in tears. The company then hired two more females (cashiers -#2,#3), and I had kept my mouth shut and tried to keep my head down. I would also like to mention, we are allowed to keep our phones on us. It helps with new products coming into the company and searching for stuff - I use mine to let my long distance BF know I am still okay, maybe 3-5 in the 9hr shift. Jack and the rest of the males play fantasy games on their phones with customers around.
After the three months for me and the first cashier had passed, Jack and another Shiftlead (f - who left after Xmas) basically cornered me one day. The reason was it was a slow day, I checked with my customers which was 7 people in clothing asking if they needed help. I would come back at least every five minutes because you never know,they could need a size or remember something else they need. So when I got pulled into the office to have a chat about that. Because apparently it made a group feel awkward. That night I cried but took the lecture like a champ.
The next problem came about spring. Both cashiers had cried because of him and #3 had quit the job, because of his attitude. I have mentioned it to the managers in private that they need to chat about his tone of voice, aggressive behavior and as someone in a position like his, it isn't appropriate in front of customers. The manager had dismissed this multiple times - since not only Jack has a baby on the way but is best friends with the owners and managers ( who also has a small one now). They dismissed it with the excuse "we been trying." "He probably stressed."
During this, I was moved departments and been trained in three out of five department. I was placed the shoe department with the exception of moving to cash, or clothing when needed.
So Jack had made my go home and cry many times, with the other cashier(#2) who had a meltdown one time infront of customers (when training a PT girl#5 for cash). So when we hired another female (#4), that was being sent to his department. I worried. I thought since he was going to make her cry, giving a heads up on , "if he makes you cry, don't take it personally. He does have alot on his plate. With new baby on the way, he would be stress" Technically defending him. I made it my goal to say to the female workers because I really don't want them to take it personally. He will sometimes make you cry.
Well, girl #4, didn't make the three months. (There was also girl #4.5 shipping team hire but not important right now but later.) Reason was Jack again. The manager team, gave me $1.50 raise in pay and also had hired in November -dumroll please- girl#6 to be place in the clothing department. Same warning, and all. Took note of it, and this past Jan. The store had witnessed this. I was covering the day up at cash. I had a defective return and it didn't print the defective receipt. Jack had came up to cover for my hour lunch break and once I got back. Lecture me on how I did the return wrong, it was more paperwork for management and I need to do better. Because of the tone of voice I had a moment of PDST linking to something I tried blocking in childhood. I was in tears and could not calm down. Since he was the only cashier, girl #6 tried to help, but she wasn't cash trained. I left that day, because I couldn't handle my breathing and was on a verge of a panic attack. On my way out of the store he half-heartedly said sorry. I quickly explain it's his tone of voice, and it needs some work on it.
In February girl #5 (PT cashier (u18)) went to work but was feeling sick. She asked if it was okay to go home and she only came because we were short staffed, and Jack said he will think about. When lunch came around, she was running to the washroom more and more often. She demanded Jack to sent her home. And he did after giving her a lecture of how irresponsible she is (thinking she was drinking the night before - she wasn't) and sent her home in tears. A couple weeks later Girl#6 told me and thanked me for the warning. He made her cry. However Girl #6 had left in March, due to a ofter she nor her boo could refuse. A new house across the country.
So here comes two more girls, #7 and #8. Like before I gave the same warning and all. Don't take it personally. Oh boy. It was bad and good, because at the end of April, the owners and management left for Vacation, giving my a key to the store (another $1raise) but also leaving Jack in charge for the week.
So once they left, SHTF so to speak. Jack gave me a list a stuff to do, because it's my section (shoes) and how dare I leave it messing (mind you the last few months, I was located everywhere like 2day or three days in clothing, one day in cash and the other in shoes). That week would be the first in a long while, of having four days in the department. So I compliance his request, while covering cash for washroom breaks, lunch breaks and tending customers. Monday he still came in to open but left due to his day off. One tasks was writing pricetags and model on every shoe. The next day I came in early to tried and finished the stupid task he gave me. He was pissed off at me, from his words "I was wasting the owners time clocking in early. (Confirm with management that if I was working early, it's fine.) That the task he wanted me to do wasn't finished yet and how dare I open the store since clearly I don't know the procedures in the lights don't turn on... Etc." Then tells me that I wasn't the only one giving a lecture that day.
So remember that girl #4.5 the shipping team. Yeah. On Monday she had at least 35 online orders to ship out, pack and the report it to another sister store. She got a lecture on time management. Didn't cause her to cry, but had bit her tougne from swearing. Girl #8 was told on monday to put bike accessories on the wall. Wasn't told on how it he wanted and gave her basically free reign. Then lecture on her about how she did it wrong. So she need to cool down and told him with another witness she was going to help me for a bit, since she finished what he asked her. He and the male coworker stood in the same spot for hours until lunch time. He was pissed off that she wasn't working, through she was, and the male coworker back her up. She also witnessed Jack put his hand on a male PT 15year old on his face and called him fat. So low and behold, we waited for management. We told them everything. Their excuse... "We put everything on his shoulders, and it's hard to be a manager. " They tried to bribe girl#8 a raise. She gave a two week notice.
So lastly, they hired two more, #9 and #10. Like before I gave them the warning, "if he makes you cry, don't take it personally. He does have alot on his plate. With a new baby, he would be stress."
Today he made me grin and bare it until I got home a cried. He gave two lectures and was pissed off because I told first, his department covers shoes and we had breaks sorted out for cash and clothing. I was in clothing for the day. He sent me to lunch at 12:24, because clearly his own ego forgot that his department covers shoes and since there're 3 cashiers. Apparently two cashiers can't go to lunch together. Our breaks are 12, 1 or 2. I picked 2pm because I wanted to call my BF. The new cashier was going at 2 as well and covering at 1pm. So my teamate and I decided, he goes at 1pm and I stay close to help out if need. Then I got berated by Jack at 4:55, and was told he didn't like the fact I was saying to the new girls, because it's true, "if he makes you cry, don't take it personally." And he wants me fired so, he would be talking to the owner and management about my behavior, this week. I feel like I am the Asshole about this. But I don't know. My Boyfriend doesn't think I am the Asshole.
So in the end, Am I the Asshole for telling my female co-workers that they might cry.
Since he made 7/11 cry and 4/11 quit.
