Ma gandesc serios sa migrez de pe Windows( 11 in momentul de fata) spre Linux, dar nu sunt inca sigur pe ce distro ar trebui sa merg avand in vedere ca sunt entry level cand vine vorba de linux.
Practic intreaga mea interactiune cu linux au fost virutal machines de Kali si Ubuntu, mainly folosite pt ctf uri, unele tool uri in proiectele de la facultate, si cam atat.
Probleme cu Widows, sa zic, nu prea am avut. Adica nici nu-mi prea place, dar nici nu pot sa spun ca il urasc..dar usor usor simt ca vreau un 'tool' mai customizabil, configurabil, mai reliable si care sa ma forteze sa invat mai multe lucruri. To get into the nitty gritty stuff
De asemenea, la facultate urmeaza ca in urmatorul semestru sa fac Operating Systems, si mi-as dori sa fiu cat de cat familiar macar cu inner workings of an OS, deci pot spune ca as considera ca am doar beneficii de pe urma acestui jump.
Acuma, eu ma gandeam fie la Mint, fie la PopOS, cu inclinatie spre a doua, sau pur si simplu Ubuntu.
Ideea e ca as vrea cv cu care sa nu am zeci de probleme from the start, si sa observ ca nu imi merg mic ul, webcam ul, wifi ul, etc...Vreau un easy slide into the Linux env dar care sa nu ma limiteze neaparat.
De asemenea, laptop-ul meu (nu am desktop) este un Lenovo IdeaPad5, de care am auzit ca nu suporta orice distributie de Linux, cum suporta line-urile precum Yoga de la Lenovo.
Asa ca, overall, m-am gandit ca ar fi intelept si sa cer parerile si recomandarile unor oameni mai experimentati decat mine la capitolul asta.
L.E.: Orientarea mea e mai degraba pe backend stuff, lucrez cu python, java, dar si go recent, si vreau sa ma joc putin si in sfera devops. Poate are vreo relevanta :))

27 years old, from Germany and the title says all: I just want someone that also plays indie games. There is a huge variety out there which I also play, but where is the INDIE representation?
We can talk about everything indie, play coop/ multiplayer together or what else comes to mind. There is enough to gush over, I just love to interact with like-minded people.
I already have great friends to play all kind of games, but nobody in my friendgroup plays or even knows them like I do...
Nobody knows about Everhood
There are only few that played Vampire Survivors or Brotato, but not enough for my taste
After finishing Tunic, Inscryption and Omori, I only felt sadness which could not be shared with others
Dead Cells is a dead name... and a dead game
Hollow Knight is such a "little" unknown game, it cannot compete with AAA games - even though it has a lot more heart than others
Even Hades and Risk of Rain are only in my library...
To sum it up: I just want to find some pals that also play indie games. Somebody that also gets excited about upcoming games in the indie scene.

Fridays are now Desolation Day. As of June 2020, Rule 9 will not be enforced on Fridays. (Post content must still follow all other rules, including relevance to Stormlight Archive and no reposts). The time window for this is approximately 8:00 am UTC Friday morning to 8:00 am UTC Saturday morning. In other words:

• This is midnight PST and 3 am EST. So if you, like most of our members, are in North/South America you're basically just dealing with Friday.
• For those in Europe/Africa, this is going to be Friday morning through Saturday morning.
• West/Central Asia will be roughly noon Friday through noon Saturday.
• Australia/East Asia will be roughly Friday afternoon through Saturday afternoon.

This is not necessarily permanent. We're trying this out for now and seeing how it goes! Some of you will hate it. Some of you will love it. We appreciate your feedback, especially after living with it for a while. And we'd appreciate your help spreading the word and informing people of this option.

so I've always had a friend a friend in SkyBlock, right. He's like half an ocean across from me or something and I don't know him personally. But he's always been lagging behind me. I've always been on top of him in terms of progression. And it stayed that way for around 2.5 years. But, that was broken about yesterday. So for context, I quit SkyBlock for around 2~5 months each. I quit SB in the summer of last year, visited every now and then, and didn't really get on until around September or November. And I grinded SkyBlock harder in December than my totally real girlfriend. After January though I moved onto more mobile games after all my mouses stopped working and the one I bought didn't seem to fit my computer whatsoever. But around 2 days ago, I logged in to collect my slime minions. He messages me, telling me he's got a term now. Apparently he dropped a giant's sword 2 times or smth (fuck him) and got a carry to eman 7 and bought a Terminator. I was shocked. (Fair play I guess I didn't really play at all) So now I'm jealous. I can't have this happen to me. So yall think I should try my absolute hard-est to beat his ass in progression & NW or go visit a doctor for superiority complex and move on with ma life

6/8 static looking for melee and magical ranged. We raid Tuesdays and Thursdays 8pm-12PM PST, and sometimes go additional days for prog, ie Saturdays/Sundays. Not obligated to join for these, but we would still like to raid when we can!
I've been with this group since E3S, and the rest of them have been raiding together even longer.
Currently we're on P10S 3rd Dividing Wings/Harrowing Hell. PF is terrible.

O que está a acontecer?

No dia 31 de Maio de 2023, o Reddit anunciou que iria aumentar o preço para fazer chamadas à sua API, o que irá afetar todas as aplicações de terceiros, como o Apollo e o Reddit is Fun, entre muitas outras.
É fundamental continuar a usar ferramentas criadas pela comunidade, que em muitos casos oferecem funcionalidades que as ferramentas oficiais não têm. Se estas desaparecerem será muito difícil continuar a moderar e a qualidade da discussão será certamente afetada.

Qual é o plano?

No dia 12 de Junho, muitos subreddits vão ficar offline para protestar contra esta opção. Nos dias do protesto este cantinho na internet não vai funcionar.

I play games on pc and phone and like metal music from bands like slipknot korn linkin park tallah etc but listen to many other genres . My fav shows are supernatural and breaking bad.
