I know how what I’m about to say might sound incredibly self-centred considering the situation but I really need some consolation. I’m deathly afraid of bed bugs, and ever since my flatmate told me he‘s got them I’ve been so mentally drained.
I can barely sleep, I’m having panic attacks at the sight of any lint or debris that looks even slightly bedbug-like. A couple times I’ve woken up TERRIFIED and crawled onto all fours to search my bed for hours. It’s awful but I even feel scared to be around him, I won’t go near his room, and I’ve stopped going into the lounge.
Crazy part is: he’s not even fazed! In fact he often jokes about it, and loves to show off the million welts that now cover his torso.
Do you think I should be this worried about getting them? If yes, is there any kind of prevention I can use to make sure I don’t?

Hello to all who may have stumbled upon this post. It's going to be a long one, so strap in, but rest assured your time spent reading this and possibly offering advice could save these poor little plants. That being said, let's begin.
I am a complete noob to gardening and have found myself overwhelmed with all the new information online. One article says this, another post says that, etc., etc. Although I am a complete beginner, I am the type of person who likes to take great care of things. This is why I'm here seeking guidance and don't believe in giving up on things.
Everything I looked into about gardening warned against buying "bad plants" and mentioned things to look out for. I found it pretty sad. My background in being a fisherman has helped me build a close relationship with Mother Nature, and I firmly believe all of her creations deserve respect. That being said, when I went to my local big box store, Lowe's, here in the US, I sought to purchase the most wretched-looking plants in hopes of saving them. Most of which are indoor plants that I'm slowly learning are very particular when it comes to watering, lighting, and potting. It's a lot, and I'm trying to do my best to take care of these little fellas and could use some help.
Now that the stage is set, let's talk about these plants of mine. First on the list and in the worst condition would be my Peace Lily plant. I would also like to mention that I will be posting pictures of each plant and its condition later today. It's currently 2:39 in Texas, but I couldn't sleep easy knowing these plants are suffering. Anyhow, the Peace Lily is in poor shape but looks promising in terms of its chance of healing. It has some dead stems and wilting flowers, with one strong flower proudly standing up. I took it out of its pot, rinsed the soil off its root network, and was happy to see healthy white roots with only a few brown ones. I pruned the areas which I felt were necessary (side note: I wish I would have waited to make this post because I hate the idea of giving up on those leaves/stems that may have had a fighting chance, but I digress). Anyway, I placed the pruned and inspected Peace Lily back in its original pot with about an inch and a half worth of soil beneath the roots, followed by more soil gently filled in around the roots to help support my plant. My question on this plant, and again I will provide pictures later for better reference, is: What is my best option for potting soil? As well, how should I go about watering this guy? I heard that root rot is easy to achieve with overwatering and decided to plant it in pretty dry soil, barely damp to the touch. I plan on heading back to the garden center later today to purchase all of the necessary pots and soil, so any recommendations would be much appreciated.
On to our next plant, the fiddle leaf fig or Ficus Lyrata. It's coming in second for my most jacked up plant, but I am happy to say that I think this one is also going to be okay with a little tender loving care. When I got it home and started watching YouTube videos, I was sad to find out that this plant is probably suffering from early root rot, but I'd like to get your opinion on it. Here's the rundown: the plant was purchased completely covered in dust, and it had a pair of drooping/wilting leaves that I pruned. Overall, the plant has two stems that are supported by a wooden rod in the middle. It seems to be in poor condition, but resilient enough to stand upright, with only the two leaves that I removed hanging low. After giving it a quick sponge bath to remove the dust from each leaf, I was disappointed to see brown spots on a few of the leaves, as well as brown and wilting sprouts trying to emerge from new nodes. I believe this is a sign of the lack of nutrients being pulled by the roots, leading me to suspect root rot. However, I'm hopeful that it just needs a new pot and more suitable soil. I would also like to mention that most of the leaves look strong, but many have blemishes, possibly due to sunburn or an inability to repair themselves due to the aforementioned problems. I'll post some pictures later for better reference, and I would appreciate any feedback you can provide.
Regarding the fiddle leaf fig, I haven't taken it out from its original pot yet because I heard that it can be a traumatic experience for the plant. To avoid subjecting this struggling little plant to unnecessary stress, I want to make sure I get it right the first time. Any potting tips, suitable soil recommendations, and guidance on watering and lighting would be greatly appreciated.
Moving on to the third plant on the list, the Split Leaf Philodendron. This plant is actually in pretty good shape, although I am concerned about its pot situation. There are three separate stems sharing one pot, with all the backs going in different directions. As far as overall health goes, it seems to be upright and healthy, with no signs of root rot to my untrained eye. There are only two leaves that need to be pruned, which is solely due to my negligent transportation of these plants—they fell over in the bed of my truck. I briefly considered trying to graft the stem and leaf back together, but that seems like advanced stuff and a bit over my head. Just so you know, the leaves didn't die in vain; they are sitting in my compost pile. As a remedy, I added some small skewers as supports to the back of the two largest stems, fastened with some repurposed bread twist ties. This should provide additional support as I intend to help this plant grow big! Once again, I would appreciate potting tips and any further guidance on soil, watering, and lighting.
Finally, onto the last plant, the Sansevieria. This thing seems to be indestructible. It reminds me of an old dog that just refuses to back down no matter how tough the going gets. My only concern with this plant is my lack of knowledge regarding watering and potting procedures. I am likely going to use this plant for propagation practice, as I can already spot a few little sprouts budding at the edge of the pot. I would love to share these little plants with my friends and family, so any propagation tips would also be helpful.

I joined the school in grade 1 I didn’t go to kindergarten because my English wasent good and I’m sorry if I made any mistakes while writing this paragraph English is my 3rd language.anyways and because of my weak English I couldn’t go any other schools as well so this was the only school that accepted me Overtime my English got better and I was one of the best students is the school this continued till grade 7 I knew every teacher and every teacher liked me because I had good grades and respected everyone after grade7 Covid hit and we went online but these 7 years were hell for me The teacher’s teaching was good but not the best the big issue was their actions they would hit student so hard and cruelly I would feel bad they would break everyone in front the whole class they would call us all sort of names that is really cruel for kids such as Ur a foolish kid,how can u be so dumb,how did you reach this grade you might think it’s not so bad but for a kid it is and the beating was worse i remember one time in 4th grade one kid didn’t learn her test she was a very brilliant student and good in studies but the teacher didn’t care she gave her a big slap it literally echoed In the class and the teacher was very fat so it hurt a lot the poor girl started crying another time in grade4 a boy who always made problems in the class and was basically the class clown didn’t do his homework the English teacher lost it she called the boy to the front of class and literally pinned the boy to the board and started chocking him with one hand and pointing her fingers towards him with the other hand the boy started crying so did I My mom knew how bad the school was because I complained to her all the time and she went and complained to the principle more then 20 times I swear and they never did anything there are more details but I’m not going to mention them Fast forward I’m in grade9 and in my first year of igcse so it’s really important to get good grades well I went from being an straight A student to failing every subject I wouldn’t blame it on the teachers because igcse is very hard Fast forward grade10 which I’ll be giving my first IGCSE board exams in total I study 6 subjects English maths ict physics biology and chemistry The maths and chemistry teacher are the best teacher to ever exist the chemistry teacher has been teaching me since grade 3 and the maths teacher is new to me but really cares about the students Anyways I decided to give 4 subjects for my board exams physics biology English and ict In English I was very good because if the practices my mom made me do and I was good in other subjects as well And I was the top of my class when it came to ict or I thought so Our ict teacher is very careless out of the 20 chapters of the syllabus she teaches like 8 maximum.most of the time the class was talking and playing because she never taught anything I don’t have a problem with this and never snitched about it because I liked having free classes but this continued for to long and I still didn’t say anything A couple of months later when everyone decided what subjects they chose for there exams for ict only 3 were there me another girl and boy so we were only 3 student for ict For our exams we had ict practical and was very difficult so she would take the class to the computer lab and sit there do nothing maybe only 2 times she explained us the rest of the times she would make the grade 11 student who already finished the ict exam come and teach us I even asked her to teach me the practical if she got free time I would’ve skipped any class so she would teach me,you know what she said I’ll send you the link watch it and learn I was going to cry I don’t know anything in practical and she just said that to me I watched the the links she sent and watched them I did understand but it wasent enough fast forward it came the day of my ict practical keep in mind the practical counts 70 percent of your ict grade I went gave the exam and came back my dad took me to give the exam And he asked me how was your exam thats when I broke down crying I told him everything about the school I cried to the point I couldn’t breath anymore I’ve never said anything to my father like this before mostly my mom I did tell him to change my school but he thought I was joking but that day he understood I was serious so i knew I was going to fail my computer and it was all my teacher fault But the story dosent end here idk if I should continue about how I’m also scared to fail my other subjects should I make a part 2 about my biology teacher

I got an oracle to play on my own, just so i could get the hang of things since I'm planning on being the DM for some friends who are just as clueless as me, And my first quest was to look for a mule carrying the money earned at an auction, that got stolen by some bandits, my characters found an npc 5 levels stronger, he joined the party and my main PC almost died against a giant toad.
And i loved every minute of it, I'm definitely gonna keep playing this little campaign by myself, however i have some questions.
First, does anyone have some tips to speed things a bit? I had 4 combats in total and the bandit lair was like 4 rooms at best, and yet it took me like a day and a half to finish this "quest".
Second, is it recommendable to have more than one PC at a time? Or should I stick to just one PC?
Also if you have any recommendations on anything about solo roleplay, please share it.
