Let me preface this post by saying I do have an appointment with our vet this afternoon.
So our 5 year old Ragdoll Chef has had bladder problems in the past (when he was around 1) and has been on Hills C/D Urinary Care food since. So far we haven't had issues until last week. He's been meowing a LOT and stopped going on his litter box (or anywhere else). Vet took him for the day since he refused to pee and they had to give him a catheter to test his urine which turned out to be bright red. This was last Thursday and he's been on antibiotics and painkillers since.
Now on Friday he was still quite out of it but I blamed that on the fact they had to sedate him to insert the catheter. But during the evening he was meowing a lot again (sounded panicky) and sure enough he pukes up translucent slime. Same thing happens on Saturday and Sunday at which point I contacted the emergency number but they tell me not to worry and wait until Monday so our regular vet can see him. The last two (today and yesterday) days he's mostly been asleep, but I noticed he hasn't eaten since yesterday either. I tried feeding him some wet food today and took out his favorite treats but he doesn't want any of those either. He'll sit in front of his water bowl but no matter how often I'll refresh it he won't actually drink it. I can tell from his litter box that his urine is still red and that he's only pooped once since returning from the vet. He'll also slouch around as if every little movement hurts and will lay there meowing without me knowing what to do about it.
Maybe I'm overreacting a little but I told our vet all of this and I can't come in until six (which at the point of calling was still 10 hours away). I'm just scared something will happen to my baby, we've lost our other cat about three months ago and he was fine one minute and choking the next which has been traumatising for both me and my bf. I'm also not sure if the loss of his buddy might contribute to his poor health as he's always been sensitive with stress and we're pretty certain that urinary problems in the past had been stress related.

It's 2:04 and I want sleep but I'm so hurt I can't stand it anymore. I went to a party for a close friend of Mines but it made me realize I have so many issues. I barely turned 19 but I just want someone to hug me and care for me. I feel so desperate to want a parental figure to care for me and tell me they love me why did God make me feel so unlovable what did I do to deserve this. Even if God isn't real or not why did some higher being put me in such a bad environment. Why did God give me a mother who never gave me love never once told me she loved me or even showed it. All the things she's done to me and no mother should do I'm hurt and I just want a mom and dad. My father told me he's surprised he seen me make it this far(as in living) because he knew I struggled with depression all my life. (Iwas barely a junior in high school when he told me this) he never supported me through anything and doesn't seem to care. When I graduated they didn't show up none showed up only my sister and my nephew. Think the reason that made me have this breakdown was when my friend mentioned I was the peacemaker of my family and it hit me. I'm the youngest but why me I want someone to care as much as I do for my family. I'm jealous but I can't be. Everyone tells me I have this bored look to me everyone has told me I'm lazy or act lazy everyone has told me the same thing. I know I'm not I'm not I've worked so hard to be here just to live wake up go to work and act like everything is okay to act friendly with customers. But my self worth there's nothing in that jar nothing and I believe what everyone tells me. I feel so unlovable I feel like I'm not enough I'm not giving enough I'm not doing anything to push forward in life and yet I feel like I'm rotting away. Doesn't help that my family has a bunch of mental health problems (mom forsure has undiagnosed BPD for ex.) Doesn't help that I'm starting to think I have it too because the signs have been there since childhood and I feel like I'm going to turn like my mom and it scares me. I'm all over because I have no one to talk to about this even If I tell my sister there's only so much she can do. I'm bad luck with love and in life even if I attract love it's 100% bad.Yes I almost got into a relationship with a 26y old he waited to say he liked me when i turned 19(he met me when I was 18 but still). The final cherry on top is the brain fog for 2 years now I steal feel that felling and its the worst I feel tired even if I got 8 -10 hours of sleep. I forget so many things it makes me feel even more useless. Sometimes I wonder if I'll find love and met someone who's nice and treats me with respect. I just want them here now I want to be someone to hug me with kindness and love but why aren't they here. I feel so lonely the love I want is probably to much of a problem that cupid refuses to give it to me because he knows im not ready. I don't know anymore I just don't know what to do or say I feel stagnant about my life I'm question my identity again because I've walked on egg shells my entire life and tried to be someone I'm not. What did I do for me to not to get treated with love and not receive it. I'm tired now it's 2:56 I need sleep but I have so many things in my mind but my eyes hurt from crying while typing this down. I'm going to wake up in a few hours and make fun of myself for writing this all down but deep down in my stupid sarcastic,"peacemaker",nice and cold hearted heart I know it's true what I said. Sometimes I wish I can be vocal about my feelings towards people sometimes I wish I just caved in and brought down theses stupid walls I put up. I'll never know anything

I see a lot of people who say they didn’t see a lot of weight coming off until 1.0; when you switched up to 1.0 did you feel different from the lower doses? I’m losing 1lb per week on the lower doses and I’m struggling to eat 1200 calories currently. I’m not nauseous, just always full and somewhat repulsed by food. It’s “time” to go up to 1.0 but if it feels more intense I’m worried about eating. If it feels the same then I’ll go for it and hopefully see more weight come off.

I was having ¨dating'' with a girl , it really was absolutely great we were seeing each other 1 time a week but we talked almost daily , we had sex and watched netflix and talked about our lives , as time went on I felt it went over the line from fwb to something else , as she opened up with more private topics, finally she told me she would leave town if she didn't get a job offer, when she didn't get it I tried to keep in contact with her and wanted to say goodbye in person which I couldn't, I usually block when a fwb distances herself from me, but I tried to talk to her, she told me more about her problems which made me feel terrible, finally I blocked her because I had feelings for her, she told me she felt them too but she had pushed them aside because she knew we couldn't go out because she wasn't sure if she would stay in my city, after that I blocked her and now here I am missing her, hating everything, I even thought that having sex with someone else would help me, but no, now I just feel an emptiness, I just hate the fact that when things are going good for me everything gets screwed up aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. This is the first time that a fwb relationship didn't end because they fall in love with me or I just bore them , but because of external things like work , I wish it lasted longer , end of my vent.

We've been friends for over 12 years now. He was divorced 5 years ago and his ex was a very toxic person, very abusive to him and cruel to his family and friends. she ended up taking the cat and the dog that they had adopted while being together saying that he worked too much and she stayed at home so they would be more comfortable living with someone in their house. She moved across the country and they had been no contact since. We started dating 2 years ago
I was getting a major award that was a huge life and career changing moment. This isn't a common award only three other people were being recognized for it and it's an incredibly rare achievement. I have been told about it 6 months ago and been preparing and extremely nervous ever since finding out. I'm not great at public speaking and I don't like being the center of attention but this was monumental for me and I wanted him to be there with me. We have been discussing it and making plans the entire time.
The morning of my award ceremony he got a text from his ex that their cat was at the vet and would be put down. This wasn't a surprise really because the cat's age and health it's actually more surprising he made it this long. My boyfriend told me that he made peace with this a long time ago and had expected this would happen and he's just glad he won't be in pain anymore. A few hours later while we were getting ready for the event I was talking about our plans and what was going to happen and he turned and told me actually he wasn't going to make it he was going to fly out. I was totally shocked it wasn't even part of the conversation we hadn't discussed anything about this and all of a sudden he was leaving. He literally told me, put on his shoes and grabbed his keys and left.
It's a pretty long flight so he missed my event and didn't get home until midnight. He did not want to see his ex and she did not want to see him so she had someone hand off the ashes and a vet bill to him at the airport and then he turned around and took a flight home. But I am fuming mad about this. It's not like he was going to miss a chance to say goodbye, he could have made these plans any day of the week. He could have gone the very next day. He could have gone right after the event. I'm just really upset he wasn't there for me and sprung this on me this way.

I need some help with this one. We’re not in the US. I’m 38f and he is 38m. We both work full time. We both have two kids from prior relationships. We don’t live together, but things are looking up for us. We both have ADHD.
To be more specific, I have a formal ASD(level1) dx, and am currently going in for assessment for ADHD-I (formerly ADD). He has an ADHD dx since early childhood and takes Ritalin for it.
I have an admin job for 3 years now and one of my tasks is helping my boss manage his schedule and meetings. He has ADHD, is extremely inspiring, creative, energetic, flexible and he lets things go easily. I have fudged up some meetings with bad planning, and he says, “mistakes happen, we’re only human - hopefully the next one goes ok!” And we reschedule the meeting like it’s no big deal. It fits my style because I’m incredibly flexible as well, I let things go easily.
My boyfriend on the other hand doesn’t let things go so easily. Lately on his mind are things like him and I not having had booked a holiday for the summer yet (it seems like other, more important things seem to always pop up?) This week I’ve been busy looking at the kids visitation schedules and trying to come up with a schedule where we have more time together. He’s willing to make some changes which is great. But this just takes a lot of time to do because all the exes have to be on board too!
In the beginning of our dating life I seemed like a good planner… but as time progresses (and as more is expected) I see I fudge up a lot.
This week a friend of his (I’ve never met him in the 3 years I know my bf) is celebrating a birthday and I forgot to arrange a babysitter. None of our usual sitters are available unfortunately and I’ve looked online and have found some nice ladies that are available this weekend but charge as much as it would cost me to fly to a neighbouring country and fly back again. Absurd.
So I’m not sure if I can join in. And my bf understands but was kinda mad about it too. Yes I had been reminded several times. I’m hopeless.
He says that I am better in planning than he is. So that it’s weird that I seem to be so bad at it. Now this comment got to me: He says evolution wise it’s not smart of two people to be together if they are both so bad at planning. As if people always need to compliment each other.
I feel like life is hard enough without all the extra planning of vacation, outings, trips and vacation. I feel like I’m missing something obvious. Maybe an outsider can help put this in perspective? How can I make my dating life less stressful? Advice? Sympathy? Help please?

I have 79 party size, a couple of caravans that have put my clan into a net positive in gold each day. I have been roaming around killing bandits, entering tournaments and even decided to destroy the lake rats clan (for no particular reason) and executed all their lord…. But that’s another story.

this is for real my first message on the Internet.
First of all, im a very introverted person who cares about personal data on the internet. I never post stuff, comment videos or chat on streams. Im the guy in the statistics, who belongs to the silent listener.
But this topic is very personal for me and im coming a bit out of my comfort zone (this is a throw away account and all names are fake)
Me and my girlfriend are almost 9 Years togehter (since ending high school with 18 Years, first real relationship for me and for her, we lost our virginity together). We love each other and had fights about some stuff, but nothing we couldnt handle. We live almost 4 years together now. Sex life is average with 1 session per week minimum, but i think 100% that we are on the same level and that she is happy with our sex life.
So my girlfriend did mentioned like 2 years ago, that she would like to know, how it would be to have sex with another person (something like open relationship). I didnt really like this concept, so i shared my thoughts about this with her. She said that she would love me forever and that this topic isnt a must for her.
Beginning of this Year, the wife (Anna 27F) of a very closed friend of mine (Thomas 28M) asked my girlfriend if she would like to go on a "Kinky Party". Its like a party where all people are almost naked and some do drugs and than make out and have sex with each other. So a very sexual open party. She asked me if its ok if she could go with Anna and another friend of mine (Jan 28M). She knew that i wouldnt go to this party in my life, because of my introverted way and im not confident about my self and my bodyparts (I struggle with goin to public swimming pools, Gyms or sometimes even public Restrooms). But she also knew that i never forbid her anything that she would like to do, because we would never cheat and we fully trust each other. I dont want her life to be limited, because of my philosophy, lifestyle and anxieties.
Of course i did let let her go with Anna and Jan to the Party. This happend the last weekend Friday till Saturday. Saturday evening, we talked about what the party was like and how she felt during. She said it was very open and everybody was very nice and polite. If someone wanted to do something, they would always asked first and obtain their consent. Then she talked about the stuff that she saw and it was like a big porn set without cameras. A setting i would feel very unwell in.
I asked two times if something happend at the party, and she denied. I knew something wasnt right. So i asked again and she tells me that she did make out with this random dude in her partygroup. She said i would kiss much better and i shouldnt be concerned about it, because it was just a kiss.
I feel very betrayed because she didnt tell me right away that she kissed this guy. For me kissing is a bit like cheating. And i dont know if i can trust her anymore. For her this isnt a big deal. For me this is mentally crazy. I dont know if she conceal something else from this evening.
I think that she related a little bit to Anna, who is married for 2 Years with Thomas and goes accasionally on these kind of partys and also do some stuff (i dont know theire rules about that, but thats none of my buisiness). Thomas is a bit like me, who doesnt want to go to these partys.
I felt the last 2 days emotionally destroyed and i dont know what to do.
I asked my girlfriend if we could talk today after work, but i dont know if i can handle the talk. I am afraid of ending this relationship because of jealousy.
TL;DR: My girlfriend (27F) of almost 9 Years relationsship did go on a "kinkparty" with my consent, but did make out with some dude and didnt tell my right away. I dont how to feel and if i can trust her. How do i tell her that her kiss made me feel cheated on.

How would I prepare for these courses and what are the resources I should be using for this purpose?

For the second part of the question, I wanted to ask guidance on how to start learning programming with the focus on artificial intelligence. I asked chatGPT to write me a program, and I would be grateful if you would go through it, give some criticism and offer some changes.

Hi, I’m looking for advice. Originally we (a group of four) planned to travel for two weeks in 1 month. But now there‘s the possibility that we might not be able to go through with it. Some of us have already bought the Interrailkarten Flex pass and set the date from wich the one month validity is counted from. (so the pass can be activated at any day in one year but you have to choose a date from wich it ist valid for one month). I have the app on my phone but I’m not really tech affine when it comes to travel and tickets.
Is it possible to change the time span of the activation so that we can use the ticket sometime else?

I can't take stimulants in the country I'm staying in regardless, but how do any of you get to being productive without using medication? I'm questioning going back on Vyvanse when I move back to the US because I do remember being frazzled, no appetite, and always feeling it wasn't 'working as well as it could've been' until I was on the max dose and basically tweaking 24/7 and only able to get down either one meal a day eaten over the entire day, or just Ensure shakes and Pedialyte to stop myself from dying.

I went after reading all your comments. Took PATCO in so I couldn't turn around. Won't lie. I cried under my sunglasses for the first 10 minutes as that learned shame and regret for time lost closeted came back. I've been to prides as an ally but I felt like an outsider looking in. I still felt like that in a way but much better. I used to be a lot more outgoing before enough traumatic events stacked up and took away my joy.
I was a bit of a loner but enjoyed being around so many people happy to be themselves. I watched a few drag performances and looked at the booths and picked up a few things. I found a few different locations that have both peer counseling and support groups which I need.
I reached out to a friend and let them know I was going to be there. We hadn't really hung out in a year but they are busy with school and work so timing never worked out. Thru came by and they brought a friend too. That really made me feel better about the whole day because I like their friendship and they are interesting and have similar interests and their friend was great too. I meandered around all day but enjoyed the time. I do regret missing the march in the morning.
Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to go and cared enough to respond. It made a bigger impact than I can write here. If anyone finds this by searching, and they live in or around Philadelphia and run into this issue let me know.
I felt visible as who I was the first time. I've been getting fitter so I'll get a bit more decked out next year. I know I don't have to but I enjoyed the small flag and stickers I bought. I wanted a good bi colored tank top but couldn't find any.
I will say I saw someone offering free hugs and took the opportunity. It hit differently in that environment. Also taking PATCO—their public train/subway from New Jersey—was a huge thing for me. I had a bad experience 10 years ago when I first took it. The train station is so close and only 6 dollars round trip AND it stop right in the Gayborhood in Philly and wasn't as bad as I recall. That's a game changer for me in terms of dates. I plan to go every other week and try to make it to a support group monthly.
I let my wife know where I'd be at all times but once my friends got there and we grabbed food I did forget to text where we were going/at. I even mentioned I needed to. But forgot. I was a little upset she wasn't there and she was too. Obviously with what I'm working on she is worried.
Luckily my social anxiety still overrides any breakdown in public. I wish I took her to the march with me at least and next year we will do that and then after I go to the party with friends if I make them. I got back late and didn't have a lot of time to talk to her before bed. I did let her know I love her and she is the first person to be proud of me and accept me. I have a lot more going on with my mental health than just the sexuality struggle.

im in grade 11 and we’re going to have a practical exam in two days about the different types of triangular bandaging. we’ll be given 5 types to perform (on a RANDOM person from another class btw) by two registered nurses who’ll be grading us and 3 minutes for each one. due to my surname, i’ll also be one of the very first ones to perform as everyone else looks on and im fucking scared. our professor didn’t provide us with any modules or how-tos for us to practice at home. she demonstrates them in person and we’re supposed to just follow her lead and remember every single one? worst of all she only does them once then moves onto another. they’re pretty easy to do in the moment, but remembering all of them at once afterwards??? anyways im not even in college yet and im already this stressed pls give me some advice istg i’ll just be wrapping whoever im assigned to like a mummy
