2023.06.05 01:22 Designer-Maximum6056 FNAF games best to worst (leave yours in the comments) (debate my list if u want)
#10 FNAF 4... FUCK FNAF 4 ALL MY HOMIES HATE FNAF 4. This game was so unfathomably shit it's unbelievable, the jumpscares were by far the scariest in the entire series but nothing else in this entire game was done well. The lore was all
over the place and is so bad that to this day no one knows what Scott was trying to do, the gameplay was generally terrible, and after night 3 was just boring. Overall I just can't fathom FNAF 4. WAS THAT THE BITE OF 87? NO ITS NOT BECAUSE THIS GAME IS A BIG BITCH #9 FNAF Security Breach. I don't hate this game. I hate the ending but considering the time constraint it's understandable and after seeing the RUIN trailer I'm hyped and I think that FNAF can bring it back around. The game isn't scary at all but it was never going to be considering the scale of it. I believe that as a horror game, it's flawed to its core but as a general game it's just buggy but generally fun. ok #8 FNAF World. I'm okay with FNAF World it's kinda fun and think that the fact that it's an RPG makes it better than FNAF Security Breach because it was never marketed as a mainline game or a horror game
#7 UCN. I enjoy UCN, it's not scary at all and is literally just gameplay with the only lore being that Gold Freddy has William in hell but that's all it was trying and needed to be. Overall I liked UCN and it's probably the funniest game and has the most replay value undoubtedly. Overall like a 7/10. Very good #6 Sister location. Sister Location is a genuinely great story with an amazing custom night even if the main game isn't replayable and those endings (scooping room AND MIKE REVEAL) were SO GOOD this game was amazing on first playthrough and I don't get why a lot of the fanbase has grown to dislike it. I watched uhyeahs vid but don't think his points were very good (except night four cuz that was shit) #5 FNAF 3. This was a great game. The only legitimate criticisms are that the jumpscare is bad and the gameplay sucks. And they are shit but literally everything else in the game is great. Think about it OG Springtrap's happiest day the OG end to fnaf amazing atmosphere and so much more were all here. W #4 FNAF 2. This is an incredible game that expanded the scope of the series so much. It introduced the purple guy, the withered animatronics, the puppet, and literally everything that made the original games so great and expanded on the first game beautifully gameplay wise making this one of the best #3 FNAF Help wanted I know some of you think this is blasphemy putting Help Wanted in anywhere but #1 but it's still top 3 and it's my list. Help wanted in vr was petrifying and it was the only game where I was actually scared by the jump scares, and I wasn't just scared I almost shit myself. So why not number 1? Because the exclusive content is mostly terrible, shit like the plush baby segment is what I'm talking about and the rest is just the other fnaf games. Plus the mobile and pc ports were god-awful. However, the original VR release and general scare factor of this game make it a god tier. #2 FNAF This game innovated the entire horror industry and was generally incredible. The game was also one of the scariest ever in the franchise only being beaten out by VR help wanted. The thing that makes it better than help wanted is the atmosphere and the fact that it was a pioneer in the industry. #1 FNAF pizza sim WAIT WAIT WAIT BEFORE YOU STAB ME AND HUNT ME IN THE STREETS I HAVE A REASON, the main complaint about this game is the shitty nights ruining it for them. However, the actual pizza sim part of the game makes up for it. BuT sHoUlD tHe PiZzA sIm PaRt EvEn CoUnT aS gAmEpLaY. READ THE TITLE OF THE GAME. The gameplay is serviceable but the real thing that makes this game for me is the lore. No bullshit with the entire ending to the story just laid out for you. Plus there was so much added to the lore in midnight motorist, fruity maze and the puppet minigame. On top of all of this the OST of this game was so fucking GOOD I unironically listen to that shit while working. And just to loop back to the ending, Henry's speech is the best ending to any FNAF game hands down, even better then happiest day and I would be genuinely content if it ended the franchise.

2023.06.05 01:16 InFresno Downvoting Customers
Do you ever downvote customers? I have heard that there are some drivers who don't, simply because they don't care to deal with it, or they are afraid of losing tips. I LOVE to do it and have never lost a tip. Case in point:
I was pissed off today by a series of events. No matter. I picked up a burrito order from a local taco shop and drove it to the customer. It's one one of those "Meet at Door" "Ask for PIN" orders. No problem. I drive the order to the house (which wasn't a total s-hole, surprisingly) and ring the bell. Nothing. I wait. I ring again. Finally after near 4 minutes of waiting, the door... very... slowly... opens... a crack. I am immediately met with the overwhelming stench of a chemical smoke, which is actually visible in the living room. It's not Marlboro's. It's not slightly overcooked bacon. It's meth. This emaciated mid 20's kid peers around the door. With wide eyes, he asks, "yeah?" Putting aside the impeccable manners of his greeting, I say "hello! I have an UE order here for ______?" He opens the door slightly wider, revealing a giant TV on the wall with a video game image of some giant robot/demon thing with a horned helmet. "Um...yeah..." the little idiot replies, revealing slightly more of himself, but still acting like my decrepit ass is a federal agent who's "on to him." I'm bored at this point and growing even more frustrated. "OK..." I said slowly "I just need your PIN so I can deliver this to you." For my own amusement, I decided to speak to him as if he were a particularly stupid child or exceptionally smart Golden Retriever. "Oh...um...OK." The idiot stutters while still eyeing me with suspicion. "Hold on..." He disappears behind the door... and reemerges to hand me a uniball. "No." I replied in a tone that did not mask my obvious irritation. "Your PIN. Personal Identification Number. See?" I showed him my phone. "Oh...um...I don't...I..." he starts fumbling with his phone. "Tell you what?" I say in a big voice of fake friendliness. "What's the last 4 of your phone number? Sometimes it's that. Little idiot then proceeds to rattle off all 10 digits. Now I COULD have scooped up the last four myself, but now I'm annoyed AND I'm going to toy with him. I slowly closed my eyes, shook my head slightly, and then met his frightened gaze. "Just. The last. Four." I repeated slowly. "Oh...uh..." and he recites him. Thankfully, the app took it. Again, with phoney cheer I said "OK!" Here's your food!" As I turned to walk off the porch he said "sorry...I'm...tried..." I opened my car door and called back, "yup. Meth's a hell of a drug! Enjoy your Sunday! And drove off. An hour later, my tip appeared as promised. I still downvoted him for all that I could before leaving
For my own amusement, I like to think that tonight, tomorrow, or some night soon, he will sit bolt upright in bed in absolute terror. All because he has convinced himself that the guy who delivered his burrito... was actually a FED!!!

2023.06.05 01:14 AmbitionExtension184 CMV: The Reddit third party API pricing is fair.
A couple things we all need to agree on before reeding any further. If you donât understand these facts then there is no point in reading further:
- Reddit currently only makes money from ads and the ad-free payment plan they offer.
- If you are using Reddit and donât see ads or pay Reddit, then you are costing Reddit money.
- 3P apps often do not show ads or pay Reddit or share revenue with reddit
I personally use (and paid for) Apollo. Itâs by far the best reddit client available. I also donât want third party apps to die but the bitching and moaning sounds like spoiled users who want a free service with no ads and spoiled developers who want all the profit from a service they wonât have to pay to run or maintain. Both are obviously ridiculous
There is a metric websites use: ARPU (average revenue per user). For companies that make money primarily from ads that revenue is generated only when they serve ads to users. Every user that isnât seeing ads costs them money instead of making money. Apollo doesnât show the Reddit ads, so when I use Apollo Reddit has the same server costs (or possibly higher server costs if we believe Redditâs post analyzing Apollo network traffic) but Reddit makes $0 from apollo users. Further, when I bought apollo, reddit got $0 from that as well.
In the post by the Apollo author he mentioned Reddit is asking him for around $2.50 per user per month. Meta, as a comparison, makes around $4 per user per month. Google and Amazon are even higher.
Reddit isnât running itself as a charity. They have costs and also want to be profitable. If you arenât paying for a service then they need to monetize by serving you ads or making you pay. Way I see it third party apps should have 2 choices, show the Reddit ads or pay the API fees, which they can offset by charging users monthly.
Iâd love to hear a better explanation as to why this price isnât fair and what a fair price based on actual data would be. I definitely donât want to ever have to use the default app or see ads; I use Apollo for a reason but Iâm honestly trying to understand the argument that the price isnât fair

2023.06.05 01:13 TheHappiestHam Is My CPU Power Consumption Okay?
I have a Ryzen 7 5800x with an RTX 3070 and a Phanteks Revolt 1000w; I know my power supply can handle these components but Iâm wondering if my CPU power consumption and wattage are okay or too high
I have Eco Mode (65w I believe) because I didnât want to manually undervolt for now, so my max PPT is 87w. I am also aware that the 5800x has a max TDP of 105w, but HWInfo does not display âTDPâ anywhere
under gaming load (Elden Ring specifically), this is what I see on HWInfo:
Package Power- 48w (max of 80w)
Individual Core Powers- 1-3.5w (max of 10w)
CPU Core Power- 20w (max of 51w)
CPU SoC Power- 13w (max of 15w)
Core + SoC Power- 33w (max of 65w)
CPU PPT- 47w (max of 78w)
is this within any realm for concern or is this all normal? what confuses me is that all of these numbers clearly go well beyond 105w so whatâs the point of the TDP wattage? combined with my GPU wattages, I saw a total wattage of around 350-400w, and all the maximums combined equals 705w so Iâm not near the full 1000w
on idle, my Package Power is usually 25-32w, individual Core Powers are 0.07-9w, Core Power is 8w, SoC is 11w, Core + SoC is 15-25w, and PPT is also 25-32w. under Cinebench everything is obviously higher anyway, but the notable reading is the Package Power and PPT being 70-90w
temps are fine, any insight? is this power consumption alright?

2023.06.05 01:12 RoseTintMyWorld22 Did I do the right thing by self-isolating myself from my family so they don't have to deal with me?
I'm 20F, I have a myriad of mental illnesses that were untreated and undiagnosed until the better half of my teenagerhood to now (including but not limited to OCD and autism). I have horrible panic attacks, depression so bad I sometimes try to end it all, and rage-filled, seeing-red, mania fits where I tend to try to smack people, cuss people out, and commit malicious, not nice behavior. The third issue, the anger, has ruined the chances of having a healthy relationship with my mom, because I've been like this since I was a kid. I really should know how to control my emotions better, but I don't. And no matter how much progress I make, I tend to fuck it up eventually. Every time I make progress, I also do the exact opposite of progress times 3. I also fight with my older brother (24M) a lot even though I love him to bits. I don't feel like he deserves me, because I'm a big bitch to him all the time, even though I'm trying not to be.
Most recently, I had a panic attack because I accidentally ate rotten food (it didn't taste rotten until toward the end of the meal because I guess I was just that hungry). I started to cry and freak out, and my brother pretended to sleep and ignore me. I got upset that no one cared that I ate food that tasted off and I screamed "FUCK YOU! WHY AREN'T YOU HELPING ME!?" which only then did anyone else pay attention to the situation, mostly to yell at me.
I told my brother I don't want to be friends anymore because I'm toxic and I feel like I'm just making his life worse. No matter how hard I try to improve my toxic habits I just seem to be getting worse and I end up hurting his feelings or self esteem, even if I'm not trying to. He really deserves better friends than me, which he already does. I told him to pretend I'm dead and to just ignore me if I run into him. I haven't really talked to him since. Did I make the right decision cutting him off even though he was the last family member who is willing to talk to me without treating me like a little kid? I just feel like I deserve to be alone and die alone.
I do this with my parents a lot too, and I only talk to them when I NEED something I can't get myself. Trying to be civil, hang out, talk to normally, etc. normally just ends in some over-dramatic blow-up argument, which I feel are mainly my fault because I'm too sensitive and at this point have lost all hope I'll ever be able to socialize beyond a keyboard. I go to therapy to deal with my toxic and awful behavior but nothing's been working and I plan on just dropping therapy altogether at this point. I've been going for years with literally no long-term improvement. Nothing really sticks and my personality is still too obnoxious to form meaningful relationships.
Am I doing the right thing by cutting my family off so they don't have to deal with me?

2023.06.05 01:12 oh_she_thicc Whirlwind Barb is Critically Boring Now
Last night, I had just got the ring to reduce the cooldowns of shouts by 12 seconds and was slowly starting to come online an enjoy it more. Then this morning I see the nerfs and now the gameplay just feels so boring and clunky now.
We can do a little math to prove my point here. The shouts last for 7.4 seconds, with a cooldown of 25 seconds. This puts us at 17.6 seconds waiting for cooldowns. With the ring giving us -6 seconds we are now at 11.6 seconds downtime. Now adding the marshal glyph and activating it will give us -1.2 seconds every shout we cast, it's a nice addition. This will put us at 8 seconds downtime if you use all three shouts.
So what do I do for these 8 seconds? Nothing. I literally run in circles around the mobs because Lunging strike will target one mob and do a tickle of damage and generate no fury, and if I tried to spin, well my fury would be at 0 in less than a second. So according to the math I am able to do damage for 7.4 seconds and have to wait and do nothing for 8 seconds. That is more than 50% downtime. Sure I could throw in a call of the ancients in-between but that only solves one cycle and for the next 2 cycles its still the same.
This has caused the gameplay loop to feel incredibly lackluster and boring and honestly frustrating for me. If the ring hadn't been nerfed it would be at 2 second cool down for shouts which I think is reasonable. That's 2 seconds where I need to decide where to be to not die, then I can get right back into it.
Not to mention wave based content is nearly impossible to master, that I have stopped attempting those types of events. Due to the cooldown issues and the mobs being as spread out as they are getting it down in the time frame is not very feasible now.
Overall, my feelings are kind of mixed for the game especially after these sudden drastic nerfs that should have been addressed in the beta before launch, but hey what can you do. I'm curious if others are feeling the same or not.

2023.06.05 01:12 Front-Strike-8690 Human Nature 3[OC]
Sorry for the break in posting I had to take a break due to writers block and school
Captain Alderson, Selkath Empire Docean City
âââââââââââââââââââââââââââ I groaned and raised my head slightly. Just raising my head sent shockwaves of pain coursing through my body. I heard a door open and a female voice called out.
âOh good, youâre awake.â
I closed my eyes and said, âWhere am I?â
There was a pause then she answered, âDocean city, sir. You're in Ivyheath. You had to be treated for burns but luckily for you we have one of the best doctors in Doceanâ
I swore softly. Docean was at least a three-dayâs ride from Tartalus Fields. But, THE PIGEON!
âWait, this is very important. Did a messenger pigeon come to this city recently?â
âWell geeâ sir I donât know, but if it had bad news that would explain all the messengers riding in and out. Plus there are a lot more guard patrols out as of late.â
I closed my eyes and breathed a sigh of relief. So my message had made it.
âOh on that topic, Lord Genwald wishes to speak to you at the Castle.â
âSure. Just give me a bit longer to rest up.â
âOf course, we canât have you leaving before paying your inn fee as well.â
âWhat???â
âWell, sir. You didnât expect the accommodation to just be free, did you?â, she said as she frowned putting her hands on her hips.
âWellâŚno,â I mumbled.
âGood, now should I charge you now or later?â She inquired back to her happy self.
Well, I mean now was a better time than any to lean on my noble blood. I winced at the thought of the shouting and stomping from the grown up man child who was my father. However my family had grown quite wealthy over the years due to his mercantile prowess. But my father was a weak man who loved nothing more than his coffers being full. He loved that even over his own sons, or more specifically, me.
*âHOW DARE YOU, HOW DARE YOU TAKE FROM YOUR OWN FATHER!â
I sat quivering on the floor starring up at the large man who was my father. The golden crown on his ring lifted and fell with a terrible certainty. I smashed into the ground.
I screamed, âNO I DIDNâT DO IT I SWEAR, PLEASE BELIEVE ME.â
He roared back, âSHUT UP, YOU STUPID CHILD, HOW DARE YOU TAKE ME FOR A FOOL!â
He raised his hand again.
âPapa?â Called a small voice from the door. My little brother stood there hugging the stuffed wildebeast he had gotten as a present from my uncle. My father halted his beating midway and turned, a wide smile on his face.
Jonathan stood there holding the ring. The exact ring I was being beaten for. My father froze when he saw the ring.
Jonathan said, âSorry Papa is this why your shouting?â
Father looked at him in disbelief and I braced to take a beating to protect Jonathan but then Father simply smiled.
âHello there son, donât about it if you want to play with it or keep it you can, donât worry about it I can always get another one.â he said and without another look at my bruised body he picked up Jonathan and sweped out the room with Jonathan in his arms.*
I shivered in the memory, then responded, âYou can bill it to House Arcasus.â
She stared at me for a second.
âYou think Iâm joking?â
She started at the sudden statement and squeaked, âNo sir.â
I sighed, I should have known that my family name would have a provocative reaction. My father had been growing his power and businesses out here, by the border. Nobody was looking out here which allowed his many businesses to thrive without dealing with the empireâs tax obligators. He was quite smart that way.
I jerked up reaching for my hidden knife as a door down the hallway slammed open and I heard men shouting. Then my door slammed backward and open as my sergeant burst in.
âSir! Your okay,â he exclaimed in relief.
I nodded, âYes, yes I am soldier.â
âGood, Iâll have you know those useless attendants tried to stop me from seeing you, can you believe that!â He snorted in indignation.
âWell I certainly heard you making your case,â I replied dryly.
He nodded his head vigorously at me, âYes sir, I did.â
I chuckled then asked, âTell me your name soldier.â
He nodded and said ruefully, âWell sir, you see, Iâm a ward, don't have a last name, but I go by, Karean ward.â
âVery well, Karean, any news from the front?â
He hesitated before saying, âThe fort was overrun sir, no survivors, Iâm sorry.â
I closed my eyes as a wave of grief hit me for a second time. I shuddered before pushing my brotherâs face from my mind and I looked at Karean as I stood up.
He eyed me as I wobbled unsteadily, âUmmmm, sir are you ok?â
âYes, now out while I put on clothes.â
He saluted and strode out of the room leaving me alone in the silence. I shuddered, drawing in a breath. I thought about my brother. He had been kind and caring. He never understood why I hated father so much, because he could never understand.I thought about my brother. He had never understood why I had wanted to leave home so bad. Father was kind to him, his little intellectual prowess. Unlike me whose grades had fallen flat in every single class I took. Jonathan had the best marks in every class, Fatherâs pride and joy.
I clothed myself slowly, pants then shirt, knife in belt, second knife in conceal shoe spot.
I stepped out of the room and was greeted by the back of a soldier. He spun around raising his sword, he paused when he saw me.
âSir your awake!â
I nodded, glancing at the armor which was embroidered with the royal coat of arms. I headed downstairs with the man at arms and met my sergeant who was sitting at a table. He shifted over to make room for me, and the soldier stood in front of the table to stop any bystanders from getting too close.
âWell, Sir how your nap?â He said through a mouthful of bread and stew.
I waved a hand as he pushed the bowl of stew towards me, âThank you but no, and my ânapâ was very sleep heavy.â
He snorted in amusement, before stopping and drawing his sword. The reason for his discomfort was the small gaggle of rough looking men approaching.
They stopped a short way away from the two blades eying them warily. They leader stepped forward, braver or dumber than the rest as two gleaming swords turned directly towards him.
âI just want to talk to the capâin,â he said.
âThe capâin doesnât want to speak to you, you back alley scum,â the soldier snarled.
The gang leader looked between us a dark look on his face before saying, âSo thats how it is?â
An angry murmur came from the crowd and they started to move forward. I shoved back my chair and stood up. The innkeeper watched in terror, at the violence which might occur. Then I thought again. He was watching in terror imagining the damage that could be done to his inn.
As I watched the innkeeper dragged his wife over, he began whispering in her ear then she nodded and ran back into the kitchen. I assumed she was going through a backdoor to get the watch.
I turned back to see one of the gang members swing a fist at the sergeant who dodged and contemptuously smashed the flat of his sword into the offender who promptly crumpled to the ground in a heap. The rest of the gang roared and surged forward.
Fortunately for us, the layout of the inn only allowed the gang to come at us one at a time. I moved up to my first opponent, a huge man. As he stepped into the light, I saw that his skin was a greenish tone. I let out a string of vulgar curses which would have made any wellbred nobleman faint. My opponent was a brute.
Brutes were Orc-Human half breeds. Brutes were often conscripted into the army due to their great skillsets. Brutes inherited Human intelligence and Orcish strength allowing them to have great combat abilities. Brutes were also often orphans from a young age - due to the fact that Orc mothers donât accept weaklings and Humans arenât exactly designed to give birth to a 30 pound, 4 foot baby - allowing them to be molded by whatever army took them in.
As my opponent took the first swing at me I dodged and swiftly moved to counter attack. At least, thats what I had planned to do, my body, still recovering from my wounds did not help. My knee gave out and as I went down my opponent swung his fist, and have sent me sailing. When I hit the ground stars burst in my eyes. As I struggle to recover, my opponent, walked up and grinned. He lifted me up, cocking his fist. Then a look at surprise over took his face. He got yanked backwards, and I heard the sounds of shouting.
I stood up and looked around and grabbed a chair to steady myself. I gazed around the inn, overturned chairs, smashed tables and cutlery, watchmen everywhere wandering through the inn swinging wooden clubs with menacing iron heads. There was a small chandelier was swinging.
The innkeeper walked up to me red faced and opened his mouth but quickly backed away as someone approached me from behind. I turned and was face to face with a towns watchman, he had a red band tied around his forearm, which indicated him to be the head of the watch.
He stared hard at me for a second and I thought he would comment on the state of the inn. But then he simply said, âLord Genwald wishes to speak with you.â
I nodded and gestured at the sergeant and soldier, âMay these two accompany me?â
The watchman nodded and said, âThat is acceptable,â before moving towards the door gesturing me to follow him.

2023.06.05 01:11 spider999222 Head's up: June 12th protest of Reddit's API changes.
This subreddit will be joining in on the June 12th-14th protest of Reddit's API changes that will essentially kill all 3rd party Reddit apps.
What's going on?
A recent Reddit policy change threatens to kill many beloved third-party mobile apps, making a great many quality-of-life features not seen in the official mobile app permanently inaccessible to users.
On May 31, 2023, Reddit announced they were raising the price to make calls to their API from being free to a level that will kill every third party app on Reddit, from Apollo to Reddit is Fun to Narwhal to BaconReader.
Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this is a step toward killing other ways of customizing Reddit, such as Reddit Enhancement Suite or the use of the old.reddit.com desktop interface .
This isn't only a problem on the user level: many subreddit moderators depend on tools only available outside the official app to keep their communities on-topic and spam-free.
What's the plan?
On June 12th,
many subreddits will be going dark to protest this policy. Some will return after 48 hours: others will go away permanently unless the issue is adequately addressed, since many moderators aren't able to put in the work they do with the poor tools available through the official app. This isn't something any of us do lightly: we do what we do because we love Reddit, and we truly believe this change will make it impossible to keep doing what we love.
The two-day blackout isn't the goal, and it isn't the end. Should things reach the 14th with no sign of Reddit choosing to fix what they've broken, we'll use the community and buzz we've built between then and now as a tool for further action. What can you do as a user?
- Complain. Message the mods of /reddit.com, who are the admins of the site: message reddit: submit a support request: comment in relevant threads on /reddit, such as this one, leave a negative review on their official iOS or Android app- and sign your username in support to this post.
- Spread the word. Rabble-rouse on related subreddits. Meme it up, make it spicy. Bitch about it to your cat. Suggest anyone you know who moderates a subreddit join the coordinated mod effort at /ModCoord.
- Boycott and spread the word...to Reddit's competition! Stay off Reddit entirely on June 12th through the 13th- instead, take to your favorite non-Reddit platform of choice and make some noise in support!
- Don't be a jerk. As upsetting this may be, threats, profanity and vandalism will be worse than useless in getting people on our side. Please make every effort to be as restrained, polite, reasonable and law-abiding as possible.
What can you do as a moderator?
Thank you for your patience in the matter, -Mod Team submitted by

2023.06.05 01:10 physco219 Wired doorbell help needed...
I have some DIY ability but some advice and suggestions are more than welcome here. I am dealing with both a Ring doorbell and an old wired type (it is new) On Friday at around 11AM nothing abnormal had happened. But suddenly my ring doorbell lost wired power. No one had rang the bell for a few days. The other doorbell (a regular old push button type) also does not work. So I figure the mechanical bell/transformer is not sending power out. Where does this power come from normally? Breaker box? My breakers are not labeled so that will be a pain to figure out if so. My other question is if everything has been working fine up to this point what could have caused it to suddenly not? Thanks for any help and advice you can offer!

2023.06.05 01:09 SkratchMixx2018 Patient accused my tech of violating HIPAA bc she asked for DOB and address
Hi pharmacist and tech friends! Iâm new here so I wanted to share a story that happened this past weekend when I was on duty. My lead tech was ringing out a patient that just so happened to be the town clerk for my storeâs town. She started the transaction with an attitude. My tech was accommodating and asked for her DOB and address. Verifying factors. She always does this. Patient LOSES it on her and I step in because I overhear. I say thereâs no need to argue and I just mentioned we typically ask for names and addresses per policy. She yelled at me stating I was disrespecting Both my tech and her. Wrote a note for my front store manager to ban her effective in the near future. Her behavior is demeaning and condescending. I hope I did the right thing defending my tech and explaining we never violated HIPAA. She got mad because there was another patient checking out next to her. I am still shaking.

2023.06.05 01:08 autobuzzfeedbot 25 "Cheating Death" Stories That Were So Intense, People Really, Really, Reaaaallly Wanted To Share Them
- "I messed up a jump skydiving. I was able to correct the situation and pull the pilot chute for my canopy, but I was very, very close to having my reserve go off. The reserves are generally reliable, but itâs still nothing I want to test. Landed fine and then got a very stern talking-to for pulling so low."
- "Just google 'Levey PCH,' then ask awayâŚIâll be very surprised if anyone can beat what happened to me. THANK WHOEVEWHATEVER you believe in for Apple, Scorpion, UCLA, and the LA County Fire Department and Sheriff's Department."
- "Minutes before it happened, I was under the Cypress structure that collapsed during the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake in California (which was a magnitude 6.9). I was traveling north underneath the double-layered structure and felt creepy and claustrophobic on the brightest day. I raced to get out, as I always did, because I hated being under it. After getting out, I felt like my tire had gone flat and started to weave around in my lane, then I noticed that everyone else was losing control and hitting their brakes too. That was the earthquake. I didn't find out until later about the collapse, and felt like I had been punched in the stomach. I'd never felt so close to death before."
- "I was rappelling off the top of the tallest building in Bangkok (200 meters, or 656 feet) as a promotional stunt. I was supposed to rappel down to the 10th floor, land on a small balcony, and then traverse over to another building. The wind shear off the building was enough to blow me 20â30 feet away from the side of the building. Picture a spider hanging by a thread in the wind. As I got close to the 10th floor, I noticed that my rope had been cut and no longer reached the balcony, let alone the ground. The rope was about 10 feet short of the landing. So, still blowing away from the side of the building, off and on I waited until I was just above the balcony and dropped the last several feet onto the deck. Super pissed but alive."
- "Going to school in San Francisco, I got off the bus to get cigarettes and a soda at a liquor store. I stopped at the trash can on the way out to open my cigarettes and soda and walked half a block up the street when a crane fell off the roof right where I'd been standing 30 seconds before. The crane operator was killed, and half a minute earlier, I would have been as well."
- "Although being an ironworker comes with its fair share of risk, as long as you donât become too incompetent, things can be safe. But that is easier said than done, seeing as the days are long and the work is physically draining. One day, I was about 60 feet in the air rigging a beam to be lowered to the ground. I signaled the crane operator to 'cable up' (lift the beam), but the beam wasnât budging. I decided to look down the beam to see what was wrong...BANG! Before I knew it, the beam broke free and came up at my face with about 2,000 pounds of force. It knocked off my hard hat and hit every edge of my safety glasses, missing the side of my face by a quarter inch. I thought I had died, it was so sudden. I should never have put myself in what we call 'the line of fire.' Iâll never forget how close my kids were to losing their father that day because I let my judgment slip. Still gives me goosebumps talking about it."
- "I got hit by a car and walked away with no injuries. The Sunday before final exams during my last semester of college, I went to the library at 6 a.m. to study. At 2 p.m., I needed a break and started walking back to my car. At an intersection, I stopped, made eye contact with the driver of a car at a stop sign, and started walking across the street on a crosswalk. The next thing I knew, I was up on the windshield of a Jeep Grand Cherokee. He hit the brakes, and I rolled off the hood of his car and landed on my feet. I was so freaked out that I told the guy I was fine and left. Later that afternoon, I went to the hospital to get checked out and had no injuries. The doctor told me to buy a lottery ticket on my way home because I was so lucky."
- "While I was doing the dishes, my hip bumped the dial on my stove, turning it to ignite, but I didn't notice, so the stove was leaking gas all night. In the morning, I could tell something smelled off, but I have a hard time smelling things, so I just figured it was some old cauliflower rice I had thrown out the night before. To deal with the smell, I lit not one, but two candles, one of which was right next to the stove. Later, after coming back from running errands, as soon as I opened the door, I felt instantly violently ill, like a migraine and the flu all at once. Probably 20 minutes later, I finally saw the knob on the stove and realized what was happening."
- "One time, I was watching TV in my lounge room and I was sitting on the floor eating. We have a really big TV and we had an earthquake, but I thought it was a train passing by. It wasn't. I ran out of the room as everything started to wobble, and the TV nearly fell on top of me."
- "I went to summer camp when I was 15, and for our last weekend activity, they took us to Marthaâs Vineyard and rented us bikes. Now, I loved riding bikes in the park as a kid but had never ridden in the street. But since 'you never forget how to ride a bike,' I figured I could do it. I headed out and tried to go up a street that was very steep. I started to lose control of the bike, and I fell into the street in between a truck that was hauling a trailer (I fell in front of the trailer). I saw this huge wheel coming at me, and my leg was stuck from the fall. I screamed as hard as I could and hoped it wouldnât kill me (others told me they heard it a few streets away). The driver luckily heard it and slammed on the brakes; I was scuffed up but otherwise fine. You can indeed forget how to ride a bike."
- "I got hit by a train. I was living and working at a college that has train tracks running through it and only a stop sign before you cross them at the vehicle intersection. You had to cross the tracks to leave campus. I was headed to the gym in July, and the windows were rolled up and the AC and radio were blasting. Iâd crossed that crossing a thousand times, so I stopped a bit, passed the stop sign, and looked right, but the train was coming from the left. Its horn blew, but I panicked when I heard it, so I hit the accelerator but braked immediately. I was already on the tracks. It only hit my front end and dragged me about 200 feet down the tracks. I only had a broken rib, three cracked ribs, and a pretty gnarly cut on my finger. The people at the next crossing probably thought they saw someone die."
- "My last day of driverâs education class, we were just about back to school. We were all feeling pretty good because weâd passed our tests that day. I was in the rear driverâs seat and had a classmate driving, one next to me, and a teacher in the passenger seat. We went through a green light at LITERALLY the last intersection before school when a car blew through the red light going 55 mph and slammed into us on my side, just a few inches back from where I was sitting. It spun our car into the intersection and kept going! We were all concussed and had to be taken to the hospital, but that was it. When we went to retrieve my bags from the trunk of the wreckage at the salvage yard, the shop owner admitted he hadnât answered my ringing phone because he didn't think we had survived, and didnât want to break the news to everyone calling me. Two inches between me and being crushed alive. In driverâs ed!"
- "I was walking to class one day, and the shortest route went under a viaduct. It had been snowing and melting on and off for the past few days. The viaduct is about 100 feet high, and just as I was about to walk from under it and onto the pavement, a 6-foot icicle fell those 100 feet and smashed into the ground in front of me. Suffice to say, I took that as a sign not to go to my lecture and turned back home!"
- "I was asleep in the passenger seat of a car on a highway when we flipped going about 80 mph. We rolled a few times and landed in a ditch. Airbags did not go off, and I shattered the passenger-side window with my skull. I literally walked away from it and didn't go to an ER until a few hours later. I literally had a concussion and one teeny bruise on my right arm, but nothing else. The nurses told me that if I had been awake for the accident, my neck would have snapped and I'd have died immediately. Whenever I tell people, they're always stunned â imagine my reaction waking up to a missing side window and a crushed car and being fully functional! I feel lucky every day that I was asleep and still have my life."
- "There was one time my sister and I were driving down a long road with a huge cemetery. I thought it would be funny to hold my breath because people say if you donât, the spirits of dead people will haunt you or something. When I held my breath, my sister slowed down to torture me. I was a little annoyed, but at the stop sign at the intersection, this car going really fast didnât even bother to slow down. They even swerved into our lane, so my sister had to barely dodge. I swear, though, if my sister hadn't slowed down to torture me, we would have been in a bad wreck. Now Iâm not annoyed that she did that, Iâm lucky."
- "This isn't dramatic, but it's continued to impact my life on a daily basis. When I was 11, I was playing baseball with the rest of my gym class. We took a time-out to argue about who was batting next, and I stood behind home plate, staring into left field. Play resumed, and no one told me to move. The strongest guy in the class laid down a single...and hit me in his backswing...with the baseball bat...in the middle of my forehead. I suffered skull fractures and a brain bleed. To this day, I have anxiety driven by the traumatic brain injury. The neurologist said that the fact that he hit the ball saved my life. Had he swung and missed, I would have died."
- "I was in college and I had just finished my last class of the day. It was a short walk to my car that consisted of crossing a pedestrian crosswalk on the street separating the school from parking. On each side of the crosswalk were speed bumps so cars were forced to slow down. At this time of day, a good number of students were getting out of class, and a large herd of us started crossing the street at the crosswalk. There must have been 30 of us. I was stupidly looking down at my phone and was walking rather slowly. I didnât realize that I was lagging behind. Everyone else was on the other side and I was still in the middle of the street. At the same moment, I noticed a freaking DUMP TRUCK whizzing by in front of me. It was probably 1â2 feet in front of me. Either he didnât see me still crossing or he didnât care. After I got to my car, all I could do was sit there in silence for a while and contemplate what could have just happened. Even as I write this, I shudder."
- "This is definitely not the craziest cheating-death story, but it was definitely scary. I was at a waterpark with my family, and I donât do well with heat and stairs â something about the combination makes me faint. We went on a waterslide that uses tubes, and it was a long trek up. I apparently was so sick from heat exhaustion, I passed out as I was next in line and hit my head on the tube. If it werenât for the tube, they aren't sure Iâd be alive right now."
- "It was during Christmastime, and my mom, my little brother, and I all wanted to go look at Christmas lights near the middle school. There was a hill and then a lane where you would wait for the light to turn green and then you had to turn left. Well, the main light had turned red, so it was our turn to go, and thank god my mom checked before going, because if she hadnât checked, a truck would have hit us, going like 60 mph, straight through the side of our car where my little brother was sitting."
- "I was 4 or 5, and we were living in Estes Park, Colorado. At that time, I was challenging myself to go closer and closer to a river they have there. I was caught by the current and wouldâve run into several rocks and a waterwheel if it werenât for my cousin, who reached down, grabbed my arm, and saved me."
- "I survived hitting an elk in the Canadian Rockies and going down a mountain 15 times end over end, stopping 20 feet short of a whitewater river. I gave myself first aid. Doctors said I would never walk normally again and I'd have brain damage. I sent one of them a picture of me with three gold medals around my neck."
- "In the fall of '15, I was riding my motorcycle to work on a foggy morning. A truck with an enclosed trailer ran a stop sign in front of me while I was driving on a 55 mph road. I was unable to stop, ran into the trailer, and was pinned underneath the trailer, being crushed to death. A farmer was on his dirt bike behind the truck going to meet another farmer for coffee who lived on the corner of the intersection. Once he realized I was pinned, he ran to get his friend and his friend's skid-steer loader. They then used the skid loader to lift the trailer off of me and began CPR. Luckily, right as they started, a sheriff's deputy arrived on scene and took over. I owe my life to those two farmers. If they hadn't acted, I would have died underneath the trailer, as there would have been no way for first responders to lift it off of me (it had thousands of pounds of equipment in it) in time."
- "I've always been handy with tools and taught myself how to do things; I've been changing flat tires for anyone who'll let me. However, one day when I was about 18 years old, my buddy came over to chill, and he had his dad's brand-new Tacoma. So we chilled for a couple of hours, and when it was time for him to leave, we noticed that his front tire was flat, so naturally, I volunteered to change it (no prior experience with independent suspensions). I placed the jack on the frame and started to go at it â lifted the car enough to take the flat out. But when the fully inflated wheel was fitted, it didn't have clearance. My first thought was to get a second jack. Half my body was underneath the car, putting the jack in, when I heard a creek, and the next thing I knew, the car slipped. The car ended up with the front end touching the ground, and I got a big scrape mark on my shoulder. To this day, I don't know how or why I did not die under that Tacoma."
- "I lived alone with my dog. There was a hole in my gas heater, so it was leaking carbon monoxide, but of course I didn't know that at the time. My dog woke me up one morning, barking and whining, and I thought she had to go out to potty. When I sat up in bed, I got so dizzy and thought I would throw up. I ended up passing out twice, once hitting my head on the bathroom cabinet, very close to my temple, and once hitting my chin on the toilet seat. I called my boss â the only phone number I remembered at the time. (This was before cellphones.) She called 911 and they came to get me. They figured out I had carbon monoxide poisoning, and I was in the ER for eight hours that day. The doctor told that when blood gases are at a certain amount, the victim goes into a coma, without fail. Mine were more than double whatever that number was. He said no matter how much my dog was barking, I should not have woken up."
- Finally, "I was at the beach with several of my friends, my sister, and my mom. Mom was sitting on the beach watching us. We were around 11â14, I believe, but no younger than 9. Kind of out of nowhere, we started getting sucked under the water in a rip current. I was being sucked under the pier and slammed my face into the barnacles. We were screaming for help, but at first, no one came. As I was being dragged under the water and coming up screaming for help, I could see people just staring and could hear my friends also screaming for help. Finally, people started jumping into the water to save us, including my mom. She jumped in and instantly got sucked into the current but managed to grab one of my friends. She used her body to shield him from the razor-sharp barnacles."

2023.06.05 01:06 Emergency-Kale-8821 What is wrong with me?
I (27f) have been having a tough time for the last several months. Iâll start by saying that my dad has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. His symptoms are very well controlled with medication, but he is the kind of guy who refuses to talk about mental health. For that reason, I donât know what type of bipolar he has or what medications heâs on. Anyways, for the last little bit I have been wondering about myself. I was on antidepressants (lexapro) for two years, but when I lost my medical insurance had to come off of it. I had a good experience with it, mostly just dulled me into a neutral state.
I have now been unmedicated for a year. During that time I have experienced some symptoms that I have never had. I get incredibly angry about little things. I say hurtful things to my partner who I love. I know in the moment that I am being hurtful and itâs like my brain is screaming at me to stop, but I canât. I get so angry that I punch things. I scream. I have never been that person, but it is absolutely uncontrollable. Sometimes I sob hard over absolutely nothing. I find myself in times of thinking that I donât love my partner and that I hate him. I also go through self hatred. I binge eat for comfort. Iâve had suicidal thoughts. I go through periods when I find it physically hard to speak. I donât care about work.
On the other hand, I have times of joy. Its almost is like the world is actually brighter when Iâm in these phases as I call them. I get along perfectly with my partner, we laugh and are completely in love. I will spend all the money in my bank account. I will paint all of the walls in my house. I will tear up the yard with plans of relandscaping it. I reach out to people who I normally wouldnât talk to. I get tattoos without thinking about it. I definitely prefer this phase over the other, but this one leave more physical damage that the other for me.
Lastly, I am very paranoid. I actually am not sure if this is connected to bipolar disorder or not, but I experienced it a lot. I am afraid that my partner is going to kill me. There is absolutely no reason for me to think this. When I am seeing clearly, I know that. He has never done anything even remotely threatening towards me. But i find myself feeling his pockets to see if he has a knife. I think that heâs going to stab me in the back when he hugs me. If he gets up at night to go to the bathroom Iâm sure thatâs heâs going to get a gun to shoot me. Sometimes the paranoia is so intense that I canât work up the courage to get in our bed because I think thatâs heâs waiting there, acting like heâs asleep so that he can kill me.
I finally have medical insurance, and I plan on going to the doctor. I feel like I need to be medicated for myself and my family. I guess it was just nice to write all of this out. Can symptoms appear later in life? I have never been this person. I donât know if Iâm bipolar or just a mean bitch.
Edit: I didnât mention that these âphasesâ usually last 3-4 days at a time. When I research it, it seems like people with bipolar disorder experience much longer gaps in between phases. Iâm not sure

2023.06.05 01:05 Lilith_87 Venting
So, this is going to be a vent. I have been in this group for a while now. And mostly itâs great. But good damn - Iâm just sick of people here going on high functioning CPTSD. So I have want to clear the air. Iâm high functioning person because I have 2 things. I put all my memories, emotions and trauma in a box. I call it box of monsters. It contains all the beatings, breaking up fights, seeing my mom getting beaten, seeing my brother getting beaten, wanting to day, all the slurs, named I have been called like pig, fat cow, slut, idiot, bitch. And that for 20 years of my life. I do not open that box. Because itâs a pandora box. And I learned from early age - you do not show emotions or vulnerabilities. Thatâs gonna cost you. So Iâm very good at making a smiley face when I want to die. That box needs to be closed. Because I do not have luxury to blow up my life. Thatâs how you survive. So yes, it helps to live. Secondly, some of us do not have option to fall apart. Iâm mom, wife, colleague and friend. I do not have option to not be able to do things. Because if I fall apart, I will hurt other people. I cannot do that. So yes, I just push myself to be and do. Sorry, but falling apart is sometimes a luxury and not all of us have it. Letâs stop with thinking just because person has a job, partner or friends - he must have it easy. No. Iâm lucky in a way - I can make people believe Iâ m fully okay. And itâs also a biggest challenge- because Iâm so high functioning people do not take seriously my trauma. Like I need to prove to them that it was as bad as it sounds. Because I seem fine. because it must not be that bad if Iâm not dead, drug addict. And this group is the same - if you are not hot mess 99% of the time, then it must be okay. Screw that.

2023.06.05 01:00 Thecrawsome Don't Let Reddit Kill 3rd Party Apps!
Mod Note:
You've seen the following message on many subs, and you will see it here on /BucksCountyPA.
FYI: We are likely going to go-dark on the selected days of protest, and I'm pinning this until it's over.
To boil-the below down, if Reddit leadership gets it's way, the community of /BucksCountyPA will slowly become less-used, splinter, and grow apart. Moderators will see less incentive to moderate, users will want to engage less, and this will spiral until a new platform is found... but we all really like the platform Reddit gave us and we don't want that to happen.
We have nearly 20k people here that have had great conversations, chats of hobbies, best of , nature, games, local events, and information sharing for safety. I really like our community, and I'd hate to see a greedy company ruin it.
As many are collectively lose faith in Reddit's ability to lead an open platform, I recommend you join the /BucksCountyPA Discord Server. It's no substitute for Reddit, but it's a nice gathering place for the community to come together with richer interactions and more personal than Reddit. It just had it's first birthday! There's many active users, tons of channels, and fun conversations.
Thank you all for being here with us over these many years, and hopefully many more. - thecrawsome
Copypasted protest message below:
What's going on?
A recent Reddit policy change threatens to kill many beloved third-party mobile apps, making a great many quality-of-life features not seen in the official mobile app
permanently inaccessible to users.
On May 31, 2023, Reddit announced they were raising the price to make calls to their API from being free to a level that will kill every third party app on Reddit, from
Apollo to
Reddit is Fun to
Narwhal to
BaconReader.
Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this is a step toward killing other ways of customizing Reddit, such as Reddit Enhancement Suite or the use of the old.reddit.com desktop interface
.
This isn't only a problem on the user level: many subreddit moderators depend on tools only available outside the official app to keep their communities on-topic and spam-free.
What's the plan?
On June 12th,
many subreddits will be going dark to protest this policy. Some will return after 48 hours: others will go away
permanently unless the issue is adequately addressed, since many moderators aren't able to put in the work they do with the poor tools available through the official app. This isn't something any of us do lightly: we do what we do because
we love Reddit, and we truly believe this change will make it impossible to keep doing what we love.
The two-day blackout isn't the
goal, and it isn't the end. Should things reach the 14th with no sign of Reddit choosing to fix what they've broken, we'll use the community and buzz we've built between then and now as a tool for further action.
What can
you do?
Suggest anyone you know who moderates a subreddit join us at our sister sub at /ModCoord.

2023.06.05 00:59 MassiveReign Episode 6
Episode 6
Back in the woods just west of Cincinnati in a dilapidated barn, Ridgemont and his supervisor, Harlan Brooks, were surveying the area to put signs to indicate the rural and largely undisturbed nowhere they stood was to become the path of a major railway.
In the frenzied gnats and baking sun beside an old rusting Ford F-250 just under the cover of the barn. On the back window, a sticker still visible that read âI will NOT worship your DEIty,â they had stopped for a break before they headed back to their state vehicle parked off the main road.
Brooks was a hard-working man who had been in the same department â installing wayfinding signs for the state â going on almost 23 years. He was a simple man, easy goingâŚalways on time and rarely took any sort of extended vacations.
âYou do gotta be careful,â he explained to Ridgemont. âThis can be a dangerous job. Weâre lifting up a ten foot square of sheet metal â something happensâŚit ainât secure or somethingâŚyouâre lookin at a giant guillotine.â
âHas anything ever happened?â Ridgemont asked him.
âI seen it one time,â Brooks began. âAbout 15 years ago, we were up over just north of Cincinnati, below Clifton puttin up a new exit ramp sign. I hadnât quite made supervisor yet, I was still on crew. This particular day we had a community service group putting in their hours they had assigned to us. And in our group, we had a new guy, about 22 years old, named Alberto. Two of the community service walk-ons were up in the bucket getting it secured to the frame and Alberto went underneath to get a look at how it was lining up. Well one of them in the bucket thought the other one had it bolted on already and they let it go and it fell straight down through Albertoâs neck and out his torsoâŚit cut him in half, pool fella. I almost quit. One of the worst sights I ever seen.â
âWow,â said Ridgemont, obviously unphased.
âSo 2 warnings,â said Brooks, âdonât stand under no signs and we always do a triple check to make sure itâs bolted on tight before anyone lets it go.â
Ridgemont looked out into the woods, âSo whereâs this rail going?â he asked.
âAs far as weâre concerned, to the river,â he said. âBut I think itâs supposed to go down to Wichita.â
âHow many signs do we need to do for this one?â Ridgemont asked.
âSays 6 from downtown Cincinnati to the river at Delhi Hills â then the Kentucky crew will take it from there. Typically weâll get our order form for the week, usually about 50 -60 new signs, change-outs, inspectionsâŚand when weâre done with those â weâre done for the week. So we can usually finish up by Thursday â a 4 day work week. Not bad, you know.â
âYeah,â Ridgemont saidâŚânot bad.â
Vance Owens stood inside the Kentucky state capitol building, speaking into what was known as the media box â dubbed âthe meadowâ. It was a virtual reality room in which anyone or podcaster or syndicate could pull the feed and comment, ask questions. The senator was providing commentary on the developing space program and the new discovery of an Earth-like planet found orbiting the star, Alkaid in the Ursa Major constellation.
âKentucky â particularly Mayfield â is committed to being a central hub and accommodating location for the pursuant space program and new efforts to reach the stars,â he said. âWe are right off the Ohio River, feeding into the Mississippi. We are at a geographic location that isnât light-polluted and Kentuckians are ready to take on this challenge and take this generation into distant reaches of the galaxy.â
Someone in the VR indicated via light that she had a question.
Owens pointed over, acknowledging.
âThank you, Senator Owens. Recent talks have definitely gotten people talking and this all seems very ambitious. Given that the CIRN Federation is the leader in space exploration and these announcements around coming on the heels of their admittedly, now-failed ten year colonization efforts of Mars, what kinds of resistance do you expect for America 2 to pursue a mission lightyears away?â asked the woman.
âWell I think thatâs a valid and grounded skepticism to hold,â he answered. âAnd I understand this is an uphill battle to gain public trust in the mission and we will need all 5 American sektors on board â but I have seen the science and new technology behind what might be possible and I want Kentucky to be at the forefront of this â thatâs a gamble Iâm ready to take.â
It was about 8PM when Ridgemont and Madame Tandoori arrived at the little studio of Ron Rosen. It was a converted upstairs bedroom of a fairly unimpressive house in north Cincinnati. Rosen had a sizeable following â but that didnât translate to wealth. He made above the universal basic income, but no enough to be extravagant. Most of the people who hung around his house just used drugs, wasting away.
The pair walked up to Rosenâs upstairs studio and took a seat. The lottery numbers would be called at 9PM and Rosen would compare with the numbers Madame Tandoori had chosen the night before. The hour leading up to the drawing was spent with Rosen veiled insulting the pair and other jokes at their expense as the room of his âyes menâ types laughed.
It was 8:55 and Rosen shifted his conversation but maintained his tone of Ridgemont and Madame Tandoori being the butt of his jokes, âAlright, itâs about the moment weâve all been waiting forâŚtheyâre about to call the lottery numbers in 5 minutes. And so last night, I asked you to put your powers to the test, and you filled out a six-numbered lottery ticket, the Cold Cash Slamma Jamma and we will reveal here, in real time how you did,â he said with inflections of cynicism.
He turned in his seat and opened a vault with a sealed envelope and asked one of his co-hosts to open them and hand the ticket to Madame Tandoori. Rosen had been insulting her all evening long and this was to be the climax of the show in which he would completely humiliate her.
âAnd before they call this, I want to let be known, I am so confident in this that I found a casino to take this bet at massive odds and I put down $30,000 betting you would not get any more than 3 numbers correct â and I only gave you that allowance in the event of random dumb luck. But thatâs how confident I am that you are a fraud,â he said.
âWow,â she said, unphased and looked over at Ridgemont. âIâll tell you what, I donât want you to walk away empty-handed, so when I win, you can have half the ticket.â
They all laughed. He asked one of his co-hosts what the winning jackpot prize was, and it was $2.63 billion.
âSo itâs a win-win,â Rosen said. âEither way lads, weâre gonna be moving into a much nicer studio, better houseâŚâ
The lottery came up and the numbers began coming up and they were; 45-19-18-02-37-20.
Rosen looked up and said, âOkay, so 2, 18,19,20, 37, 45âŚas if the odds werenât bad enough, but the odds of 3 consecutive numbers like that? 18,19,20âŚ.but letâs get to the main courseâŚMadame TandooriâŚplease reveal your ticket to the us and 44 million other people watching around the world right now.â
She looked at Ridgemont and they grinned at each other. She held up the ticket and it read, 02, 18,19,20,37,45.
Rosenâs crew erupted. Rosen went pale, stunned and then flush red in the face, terrified. âThatâs impossible,â he uttered.
He looked around and back at her, âWell, at least I get half!â
She looked at him and said, âYep, Iâm a woman of my word, here is your half,â and she ripped the ticket in half and gave it to him and ate her half.
The room was split between people shocked and people screaming.
âYou sick bitch!â Rosen screamed at her. âShut down the stream!â he yelled. âYou two are dead!â He was slamming his fist on the table.
He jumped up to lunge at Madame Tandoori and as he was charging toward her he stopped and grabbed his head, screaming. His eyes rolled back into his head and his mouth agape and tongue hanging out. His arms, wrists, fingers and legs were locking and spasming and he fell to the ground. Madame Tandoori watched and looked back at Ridgemont, who sat there stone expressionless watching Rosen convulse on the ground.
One of the guys in the room got up and started charging toward Ridgemont, âWhat the fuck did you do??!â
As he was about to shove Ridgemont with his massive arms, he stopped and grabbed his chest, gasping for breath and collapsed.
Just outside the home studio of Ron Rosen, in a nice vehicle, sat Daphne Chambers. She looked up to the window of the studio and Madame Tandoori walked up to the window and looked outside at her and they looked one another in the eyes.
âWeâve got enough room for one more,â Madame Tandoori told her through their minds.
Daphne started the car and drove off.

2023.06.05 00:58 Hoopersmooth69 SIB Deathloop, Ratchet and Clank a Rift Apart, or Dark Souls Remastered?
I got a discount recently that would allow me to get eaither deathloop or dark souls for free, or ratchet and clank for $10. Iâm looking for something thatâs fun and can take advantage of the PS5s features. Iâm playing through Elden ring right now and absolutely loving it. I was a big fan of the ratchet and clank remake on ps4, and the deathloop reviews seem great. Iâve been skeptical about deathloop though cause Iâve heard mixed things from friends. Which one would you recommend getting?
