I am a player who seeks to be a part of a long-term campaign. I enjoy casual campaigns with emphasis on character interaction (with the world, each others PCs, as well as with NPCs), backstory, and development. I thoroughly enjoy diving into the mindset of my characters, love to make voices, and see what good or terrible consciences my character can earn. I enjoy making characters that are thematic rather than minmaxy (Although I know being useful in combat also goes along way!) My little brain gremlins can range from precious cinnamon rolls, crazy hermits, to lively tricksters....and of course, everything in between. I do not mind joining an ongoing campaign or joining one with a fresh start.
I play for fun, and I am a team player. I am a consistent player! I do try to warn the group if something comes up in life that I am aware of! I try to pick characters that will blend well with the rest of the party.
I prefer campaigns with homebrewed fantasy worlds with the most of the machines being based from 5e. I would LOVE to play a homebrewed race (of course, I will run them by dm first), but this is not a deal breaker.

Today is Sunday, and almost half of the immortals on our server have 0 contribution points. That means during the entire week, they didn't log into the game to do something as trivial as inspecting the immortal wall, which takes 10 seconds. This includes a few whales with over 5k reso.

I bought a Marc Jacob and grossly underestimated how short the handles are. I feel like I’m wearing a kid’s bag on my shoulder it’s sooo tight 😂 and I hate carrying it by the handles (please explain clutches or handles that are like 3”- how do you carry those and not feel disabled by something always in your hand?) am I not doing it right?

What’s going on everyone, just wanted to showcase a solution my team and I have built regarding building & integrating custom LLM integrations to empower your no-code applications such as with bubble. We’ve created a simple plug n’ play solution to be able to your own custom documents and query them directly within bubble natively with workflows. So I'll try to summarize as succinctly as I can. I've been infrequently DMing campaigns for a while now. I like to think I am pretty good at Narrative DMing, and the level of out-of-game hatred my players in a homebrew I am running have for the antagonist they chose (Oh, she could have been a party ally. There were a few possible endgame antagonists.) makes me feel confident in that statement.
Interested in being a player, I went looking to join online games. Realizing how many people are doing the same thing, I answered a call to be a DM for an online groups. There were ups and downs in the search, but eventually I found a group who vibed really well and appreciated the homebrew setting I had built.
The character designs I was hearing the rough outlines for were -chefs kiss- They really drank in my world and built characters around it. Some of the less successful groups I had reached out to, it really felt like they didn't read a single thing I sent them and were going to play an identical character in any game they were in.
I'm fine with that in broad strokes. However, when your character is overtly contradicting world building I've set up...
Anyway. The group I landed on were supposed to be launching our First Session in a bit less than 24 hours. Half of which I will be spending at work and therefore unable to prepare for the campaign.
I had asked the group, a few times, for character sheets and a broad strokes outline of characters. I expressed that I wanted to know about their characters so I could design the way the world would be interacting with them, side quests, etc.
I had asked that they try to have their characters to me by the end of the week, and then yesterday afternoon. Each time I asked, the party itself got more and more quiet with me. By the end, only the guy who recruited me answered when I said I would very much like finalized character outlines by yesterday afternoon so I could nail down my plans for their characters as DM.
Suffice it to say, I did not get them.
"Aight. Thanks for taking an interest in my homebrew setting. Best of luck in your future endeavours."

Am I being a jerk? Is it weird of me to want character outlines and character sheets as a DM?
I need that information. I need to balance encounters around your characters, and I want to design roleplay/narrative aspects around them. In the group I successfully ran this setting with, 2/3 characters got special knowledge because their characters were such that they would intuitively know more than the surface level campaign description.
I can't do this if I don't know about your characters.
In one instance, I didn't even know what class/race the dude wanted to be.
I'm more confused than anything else. Why did they get so into my world building only to act that way? If they needed more time, I was prepared to wait for like, a month. They're the ones who were pushing a quick start date. I'm sitting here like...
And they deadass just didn't give me finalized character outlines/sheets.
I literally didn't even know what Race/Class/Alignment one of them wanted to be. We were supposed to launch tomorrow, the second I got home from work. This was a time/date they suggested. I didn't even know what race/class/alignment one of them was, and they wanted to launch.
Any insight into what might have been happening by more experienced DMs?

- Do you have an outmoded 'The DM is the enemy' thought pattern and you are trying to keep things secret? I can't worldbuild you a personal questline if I know nothing about your characters.

I posted about this a bit ago but I have been dealing with what I thought was a bowel prolapse, but I’m now wondering if this is intussusception?
This terrible constipation has been going on for maybe 13 days now. I have gained 10 pounds. I’ve been able to pass small amounts of stool/gas but it’s getting worse.
The on-call doc I had a phone call with said to just do daily enemas until my upcoming GI appt on Tuesday. They’re not really working and it this point I can’t bear down at all without this occurring.
I’ve been doing 3-8 miralax & dulcolax & saline enemas every day and things will not clear up because this is physically obstructing my entire rectum.
Do I go to the ER or stick it out until Tuesday? I feel terrible & im worried about an obstruction or something going on.
I feel really abandoned by my care team & I’m getting worried. ☹️

Delta allows up to 10 bags per person at $200/bag over 3 (if flying business or Plat). Space permitting. I am moving some stuff to Mexico on a nonstop flight and it's a lot cheaper to just check 10 bags than hire a mover or shipping. Was wondering if anyone has ever tried to actually check 10 bags. I'm a high volume traveler so not looking for general bag checking advice but whether anyone has actually tried to take advantage of this - did they accept the bags, were they strict on weight, etc.

Ok so i really like this game, can get a Lil frustrating at times due to some navigation difficulties and sometimes when iam not able to find crafting materials, but that ain't much of an issue...
There are two major times when i was so annoyed with the game...one was finding sunken bone which was pretty hard especially due to less oxygen and for more i had to craft a bubble helmet which required the bone...and even then it was rare at places...
But even worse was crafting a bow...for that in needed gnat fuzz...so i want to know whose idea it was to make a flying creature fuzz as an ingredient to make a bow ..cuz idk if it's just for me it is really hard to hit em with pebble or a spear ..and every time i had to wait or follow until u got close to them.....and sometimes when i miss the attack it gets even more frustrating....
Then i thought of going for the tier 2 insect bow and surprise...requires spider fang, that too two of em..and where do u get that? From wolfies....and i didn't kill a wolf spider until today, that too until i got a tier 3 weapon and armor.....what do u guys think? Sorry if it feels like iam being a bit harsh, just that it was really frustrating at the time...

Those kids are the age of school level and she doesn’t have them kids in school. Those kids don’t get hair cuts and wear the exact same clothes every day . Those kids sleep on a floor . These were dress up computer games that I played when I was younger. The series had at least 5 games, but I only played 2 of them. In each of these games you dress up a model for a magazine cover. You make her up in 3-4 separate categories: hair, makeup, clothing, and possibly jewelry. You can do each category in any order. You select a category by clicking on different sections of a mannequin, for lack of a better term. At the end, your model is shown on a magazine cover and your style gets rated. For the individual categories they describe your style with an adjective (cute, goth, etc.). An example sentence is "A very cute makeup style!" Your overall style also gets rated on a scale of 1-10. The more the adjectives of your categories match, the better you do.
Various other things I remember about the games:
-Each game had a different model with a different name.
-The games were titled "[series name][number]:[model name]". The first game may not have had the number 1 in the title.
-The first game had a blonde model.
-The 5th game (the one I played the most) had a model named Nicole. She had dark hair, tan skin, and dark brown eyes.
-The 5th game had black cross earrings as an option.
-When applying the lipstick, you can have various levels of darkness. The first click would apply it very lightly, and it would get darker as you clicked more. This may have also been true with other forms of makeup.
-I played these games on Yepi, Kizi, Friv, or a similar website. The site only had 2 of the games available and it was obviously not the website that originally created them.

We got our first kitten that's turning 3 months this June almost 2 weeks ago. His previous owner free fed him but gusto ko sana may schedule siya for eating so I can track his food intake and also customize. We tried to do it the first week pero nag woworry kami because he eats so little? So when we left food, di niya kinakain agad, and when he does eat, ang liit niya kumain huhu so we went back to free feeding.
I guess okay naman siguro pero ang issue ko lang is andaming ants nagpepyesta sa food niya. I don't know if it bothers him na may ants or if it's bad for them. Need help lang how to go about transitioning to a meal sched, or if not, mawala ang ants lol

Oh, so I’m 24 years old and I live in California and it’s been almost 2 months now since I’ve told my former therapist about my past, and after I told her the story of how everything went down and how everything ended, she was very helpful and got me to understand what it meant and everything else but she did say she was a mandated reporter, and said she would have to report any current sexual abuse going on with a child or an elderly person, or that if I was feeling suicidal and threatening to harm myself or harm others she said she would have to report, but in the middle of our conversation even before our first session on the phone, she didn’t say anything about reporting my past abuse, I clarified that I was 24 and then the next day she texted me trying to ask me for answers and then that’s when she said she was gonna have to make the report within 24 hours, but I refuse to give information, and my therapist kept pressuring me to give her details and everything else but of course I kept refusing because I personally do not want to report it because my teacher no longer works there. I haven’t seen her in almost 10 years now she only worked there for a little while and then she resigned after she ended it with me expressing regret and she told me she was no longer going to be working as a teacher and she moved out of state, but didn’t say where so I don’t even know her whereabouts.
When my therapist texted me, I felt like when she was pressuring me, she was also trying to guilt trip me even though I knew where she was coming from but honestly I forgave my past and I feel no need nor want to report now if she was still working at the school then yes, I would have to report even if I didn’t want to, but at that point, I would have to look out for others. I understand the therapist wanted to help the best she can but at the same time she needed to realize that not everything is in her control but yes, if I was still a minor then that would be a different story. After refusing to get information, that’s when she stop texting me and then three days later she texts me again asking me the same questions and of course I refuse them and everything else and then at that point and she kept going I just about had enough and that’s when I decided to end my sessions with her. After telling her that, I appreciate everything she’s done for me, but I would like to cancel my sessions with her. She far right out agreed and told me to consider them canceled and then she told me to be well and then a few minutes later, she asked me one last question what school did you go to? I didn’t even bother to answer because I’ve already went over this with her so many times so I blocked her number and that was it even though I still paid her so I can at least make her feel like our sessions were not for nothing all though she said the first 3 sessions were free so I can decide if it was a good fit for me or not. TLDR: Got my game frame freezed, causing to softlock a heist followed by all kinds of slandering for using gameplay changing mods.

Hosted a pub lobby, Big Bank. Some guy joins me, infamy 20+, (later discover they have 3K+ hrs on the game) never met this person before. Starts off by asking If I meme my mods. I, at the time, hadn't a clue what he meant. I now think they were referring to changing the name of a mod in mod.txt to something different.
I have rng-modifier and Secondary as primary (SAP) in my mods folder and they are visible in my player list along with some others, which I believe to be, more QOL orientated mods: VanillaHUDplus, windowed borderless, Infamy in lobby, Perfect Viewmodel, Weapon shadows, drag and drop inventory, radial menu vocalizer, Faster ecm placement on ATM, lessimplecrosshair and The Fixes.
So heist starts. I'm still running 3 modifications via rng-modifier: The printer room and toilet corridor always spawn and the bridge is always near the buttons. (You'll just have to take my word for it, I have no way to (dis)prove that I wasn't running anything else). I, also, was not using a secondary as primary during the heist. (Again, no way for me to (dis)prove whether I was or wasn't).
They we're a tad off an oddball. Very very, chatty. It was getting somewhat annoying at a certain point as I just wanted to just do the heist, but I didn't really comment on it. I even initially thought they we're high or something, because of the whole "Do you meme your mods" thing and telling me to join the navy when I made some mistakes and had to restart. Regardless of whether they we're high or not, I simply thought they we're just goofing about.
So we get to the end, bags through the bus and toward the van. I have, in the past, seen some stuff about a bug that exists that causes you to just jump around, but I wasn't really paying attention, nor fully certain that this was the only bug with the bus escape. I've never had it happen before. So unsuspectingly I walk back into the bus to grab a bag, but then I get put in some strange frame-freezed slow mo state. Thinking I could still move around to the van, since I noticed I was still able to do some things, I wait and try for a bit. I restart after a while since I can't properly type in chat and don't want to keep dragging on the heist when we can't finish.
Mind you I was getting very suspicious and was reasonably sure that someone had purposely soft-locked me. (I referred to it as crashing in the chat, but I will use the term soft-locking since it's more appropriate.
Back in the lobby I ask about whether someone had soft locked my game. Then the person in question (I will not state their name since it's not allowed) says it's because of my mods. I was very certain that that was not the case so I call BS. Thus commences the pointless "Kicking a dead horse" type of discussion where I am a "Cheater", have no skill and that I should've informed everyone of what I was modifying (The last point I can somewhat understand, but again there's the player list mod viewing feature for a reason). This goes on for a while, supposedly they're also recording (cannot confirm). I eventually have said all I wanted to say, wish them all the best with their YT.
Side note: I assumed, at the time, that this was one of those people that goes around preying on people with game-play changing mods that are viewed by many as cheats and then records everything and posts it on YT to cater to other fanatics who absolutely despise people who use mods in games. Couldn't find any videos with some quick searches, but I recalled seeing something like this in the past.
They also go on about how mods should be SP only and that MP games are made to prove skill against one another. At this point I'm just baffled beyond repair. Way I view it, Payday 2 is, at it's core, a cooperative FPS heist game, not a highly competitive "who's better than who" game. So at this point I'm just straight up a calling this guy delusional. I'm sorry, but this was really taking it too far for me.
I do not recall ever meeting/interacting with this person before so safe to say they know absolutely nothing about me.
You see, and once more you'll just have to believe me, I recently have been playing in a lot of other's lobbies and gotten kicked many times for my mods. So I've been slowly chipping away at them realising it indeed was more fun playing without all these gameplay altering mods. I kept RNG modifier and SAP. RNG modifier I kept because it's used in speedruns so I thought it isn't all that wrong to have it and have been defaulting most settings as I play the heists I have previously changed. SAC I kept since I saw no harm in using secondaries as primaries i.e. using a the vector as a primary while using the locomotive as secondary.
So at last my question and kind of my discussion point: Is it "normal" in the PD2 community to behave as this person did? because I was absolutely disgusted by this persons behaviour towards me.

Hello everyone, I have 10k sitting in a regular savings account and I want to make the most of it. My plan is to buy a house in 2 to 3 years. Hoping to save 20k-25k. I have a new cash ISA with £250 in it as well as a Lloyds monthly saver with £250. I was looking at the Barclays rainy day saver as well but I'm not sure if it would be better to put it as a lump sum into a easy access account or spread it out over multiple savings accounts. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Both say that this is it this is where World War II ended Jed! says that "it ended right here, well here the deck not here Hawaii" basically. They go inside and Jed! states that he learned something new about Pearl Harbor. The !s get preferential service from Southwest Airlines being allowed to pick her seat and board first due to what the airline employee calls "her temporary disability". Excuse me, Southwest Airlines employee but that's a "precious blessing from the Lord, an arrow for Big Head Jed!'s quiver" thank you very much. The !s take advantage of it, though and happily scurry onto the plane. Did she buy a shitload of clothes even though they didn't get their luggage lost again? They get to the condo in Maui, floppy hat securely on Kath!s head. Jed! finds the pool as Kath! shows off the garden. They get dressed for dinner because it is their second anniversary and they're going to a fancy restaurant. Jed! says "these have been the best years of both of their lives". Kath! chimes in that "it's not just a cute cliché either". Whatever you say kids. What are they having for dinner you might ask? Kath! sings "Italian!!!!!!".......this damn bitch was just complaining, in ITALY, about how she didn't want to eat Italian food. Anyways she goes and gets American Italian food by ordering Carbonara, because now she's "always curious about it after Italy". Meanwhile Jed! orders a pizza margherita. Mr. Swiss guessed they had pizza. I'm surprised Jed! didn't ask her what cliche meant when she was popping off from the couch. Who wants to bet that Ra! already has a matching smocked dress to match Kath!...? The next day, they're going snorkeling with turtles and hopefully whale watching, if the whales haven't left for the summer. Jed! tells us to "stick along" as Kath! tells us Jed! has never snorkeled before. The convertible wasn't always cracked up to be or Maui was out of them because now they just have a plain old Impala. Kath! jumps in the water first and shakes head shakes her head no when Jed! asks if it's cold. They jump in and take some underwater non-tent. J'Chad... For the last day in Maui they take the road to Hana, a 3 to 4 Hour drive. Jed! comments that stops along Hana Road it can be up to 10 hours. Rookie. They do stop along the way when they find a horse, Jed! asks for bread and Kath! hands over what appears to be a Bundt cake in Saran wrap. Jed! breaks off the tiniest tiniest little crumb to give this horse. Apparently this was a trick, because the next thing you know they get stopped by a rockslide. Maybe you should give them the whole piece a cake to the horseman the rockslide wouldn't happen but whatever. Jed! gets out to get the rocks out of the road and wishes all he had to do was sweep cracker crumbs up. We get to their last meal in Hawaii which is at a Chick-fil-A, go figure. They say "Truett" three times, Probably hoping to make the owner appear like a genie out of the styrofoam cups. They promised to take us along for the ride and catch up with us when they get back to Arkansas. Caaaan't wait. As Kath! speed walks through the airport, Jed! comments that Kath! is usually a slow walker, but in her excitement to see Tru! she is hauling ass. It's been 12 days, and she is ready to her son. Meech could never, but there is a wrinkle in Kath!s plan. She states that true will probably be more happy to see Jed!, but he doesn't want to see either of them. Not only does he cling to Grammy!, he leans away from his mother a second time, and then tries to pull himself back to Grammy! by clinging to her shirtsleeves. He doesn't even look happy when Jed! holds him and calls him "Chickies" one more time. Oh, I'm pretty sure he remembers you and he knows it's back to filming. And that's the end of the Hawaiian baby moon/anniversary vlog, so now I guess all we have to do as far as The !s are concerned is to wait for Ra!s appearance to be announced. It's cracking me up that Tru! is so pro-Grammy! Thanks for your patience this week, and if I missed any typos let me know. Mr. Swiss said we should have set the dictation software to a Southern accent since I was just on vacation and I'm way more on the Kentucky end of a Kentuckiana accent right now. This is my first post so sorry if it's a little all over the place. This all started when my wife's car broke down and we didn't have the money to go to a mechanic. I asked my mother if she knew a mechanic that could help with repairs at a discount price and by our shock she said she did. The mechanic was a family friend, we'll call him David in this story. My wife, who we'll call Carmen, was skeptical at first. For some backstory on my wife, she's a very observant woman and she always has my back. Backstory on my mom, who we'll call Karen, she's been in and out of my life for many reasons i won't get into. For some reason, Carmen and i decided to try it out, regardless, and met David so he could take a look at what was wrong and give us an estimate. Well it needed a new engine of course and he said he wouldn't charge for labor if we could get the engine. Seemed fair enough to us so that's what we did. Karen paid for half and we paid for the other half. 2 weeks later karen and david came to pick up the car and the engine to work on it at his shop. We asked for an estimated time he would have it done, karen said that it would be 2-3 weeks originally because he had another vehicle or 2 he was working on before Carmen's car. We waited patiently while the time passed, and didn't hear anything about the car. So I messaged Karen to find out how much longer David needed and that we could give an extra month but that Carmen needed the car for work. Karen tells me that we need to be grateful we have someone working on our car for free and itll be done when it gets done. Red flag for Carmen immediately. I'm frustrated but Carmen is ready to find someone else to work on the car because she doesn't trust Karen. I convince her to give it a little time, she calms down and we give it another few weeks. During that time, I'm reaching out to both Karen and David. No responses from David and very short responses from Karen. At this point, Carmen is getting worried so she attempts to call Karen directly and she sends her to voicemail... Now anyone who knows my wife knows that she doesn't take kindly to anything she feels to be disrespectful, and sending her to voicemail or ignoring texts about whats going on with her car 2+ months later, was disrespectful. So my wife blows up her phone and she's telling her she wants to work with another mechanic and Karen tells us that we're disrespectful and ungrateful for the help we were getting and that we didn't need a timeframe for getting the engine fixed for free. And to "muzzle my bh". The next series of events was the cherry on top for us. Karen proceeds to tell David to stop working on the car and bring it back. Fast forward a week later and Carmen receives a text from a "lawyer" saying she was being sued for emotional damages and hate speech to a mentally disabled woman. This woman wants money because she wasn't being straightforward with a timeline for the repairs? Carmen immediately called bulls. She proceeded to call the number, which was sent to voicemail each time. Carmen texted the number with short responses back about the case this and my client that, but the information the supposed lawyer was giving would've been breech of client confidentiality so we knew it had to be fake. We looked up the law firm; nonexistent. We looked up the lawyer; nada. This was the final straw. I waited until David returned the car and engine and i blocked him and cut off Karen but not before i went off on her about the crap she tried pulling with Carmen. She was there for my wedding but she disrespected my wife for the last time. A few months later a mutual friend of mine and Karens reached out and told me i should check on her because she was really depressed. She's fine now apparently, but I didn't want to cave in at the time because she's been a narcissist my whole life. AITA?

I am at 100 days without self stimulation! However, with regret, the porn abstinence is a bit more of a challenge as it shows up on social media news feeds beyond my control. While it is true I do not “Search” for the porn, I have still seen it during this 100 days of no fapping. Now, I can report, that when I see this porn it does not make me feel the “Urge” to fap, it’s just annoying how readily available it is everywhere. For others, even a peak of porn could trigger the urge to fap, so if you’re a person who is more visually stimulated, do not use my story as an excuse to think viewing porn is okay. Because for me I’m not a visually stimulated person and it does not have any effect whatsoever as to whether or not I Fap or not. Instead of fapping I have planted 13 trees since February!!!! So instead of griping my own root, I’ve gripped real ones while planting ;)

My gf and i where driving our car today. It was somewhere i had never been before and i was so focused on the wegwijzers that i ran a red light. It was really stupid and i've never had this happen before. I saw on google maps there's a flitspaal so i expect a letter to arive soon. I read online you either have a chance of getting a fine of 178€ or you go to politierechtbank and the fine will be between 280 and 4000€. However in court all fines are x8. So if i get a €1000 fine that will be €8000 and i'll be bankrupt. I'm really scared because i don't want to be bankrupt because i honestly really had not seen this light. Anyone experience with this? If so how much fine or how was it? I've been driving for 7 years, have had 3 (light) speeding tickets in all those years and am now 26.
