Car rentals in georgia

I am suddenly realizing the one year anniversary of forgetting to pay for gas on a trip to the Netherlands is upcoming. We always pre-pay in the US and I was rushing to the airport. Anyway, I got an alert for Hertz (my rental company) that I would receive a fine in the mail, and to ignore the copy of the fine emailed to me. Case number was obscured.
Well that never happened and I now live at a new address. The email from Hertz shows a company called LAVG, but no issuing authority like I would expect city/municipality/ etc. Attempting to use the LAVG website is zero help, I have no case number and my name doesn't help. I also can't seem to ever get on the phone with LAVG???
Soooo what to do, I just want to pay fine whatever fine. Any advice on who to try and contact? The LAVG entity seems a dead end, can I try and contact local police? Frankly I just assumed someone would eventually find me. (They certainly would in the US!)
Bonus questions: Is this a collections agency? I assumed the police would be involved but I don't fully understand the US legal system so I won't pretend to know anything about the Netherlands. At some point I would assume this could become a larger issue. Anyone know what that would look like?

I have so many different folders that I could just throw into my car but I’m curious what everyone else uses for putting in their car.

Couple of months back a new neighbor moved in the condo downstairs. She is an old granny and based on her car's number she probably moved from New York.
We never talked other than Seattle niceties sharing "hi's" and "have a nice day".
The real problem is her visitors. Presumably her grandkids/kids? They are total potheads. I could tell they are visiting because my condo is filled with weed smoke. Our building is ancient and has this magical power where the top floor condos suck all the bad smells and traps them.
They usually bring friends and smoke on their porch in night (imagine waking up feeling dizzy, only to realize you have been stoned from secondhand smoke). I have called them out in the past and they apologized and moved. They appear to be in college and don't live with her. Just visit her often.
How do I handle this situation? I thought of going and talking to the resident directly, but I am not sure if this is an ok thing to do?
I want to talk to the college kids, but they either visit very late night or at random times of the week.
My other option is to complain to our HOA(our HOA prohibits smoking in the porch). They won't do much other than sending nag mails to the resident, but I somehow adore the old lady and don't want her in any trouble.
The question might sound funny, but I am from a different culture and I am not sure the right way to handle this peacefully without making it awkward for any parties.

I know that only I can really decide if this move will be worth it or not, but would appreciate some more objective input. Currently living in a 575 sq ft studio for $1560/mo. At the renewal of my lease, this will be going up to $1675/mo. It’s about a 35 min commute to work. There’s an opening at a complex closer to work (17 min no traffic, but likely 25 min at peak rush hour) - 1 bd 1 ba, 1000 sq ft for $2150/mo. Amenities are comparable. I currently only pay for electricity and internet - am waiting to hear back from the new complex regarding what tenants are responsible for. Mid-20s and single, $125k gross annual in a kinda-HCOL suburban area in the northeast… so I think I can swing the higher rent (at a detriment to my travel & shopping budgets). 0 debt, 6+ mo rainy day savings in place, fully contributing to 401k and Roth IRA, might need a new car in 3-5 years. Logically, I think it’s best to stay put - costs of moving, increased rent, and fees associated with breaking my lease will definitely add up… and maybe I’ll be ready for home ownership in a few years (definitely not up for that responsibility now)- but having an actual door and wall between my kitchen and bedroom sure is tempting…and having my sleeping space in full view to guests is more uncomfortable to me than I thought it would be. So, how much is comfort worth?

My mom hasn't worked in 15 years. She relies on my Grandma to pay for her car, rent, all bills, groceries, etc. She is 50 years old and is still being supported by her mother. She steals from her and uses her check book non-consensually. I am a (20 F) student living on my own (thank God), and if I face financial struggles, I'm not allowed to ask for help. My grandma is the only family member who I'm close to, and my mom tells my her not to visit me anymore. At first, I couldn't discern the distancing, but it became clear when it started to take two weeks to get ahold of her vs. the same day. I'm in NC with my mom, but it's sad that the relationship with my Grandma is slipping. Is it worth it to continue pursuing a relationship when my mom is pulling the strings and writing the narrative? Does anyone here have a parasitical parent?

I live in the downtownish area, and I have yet to find a decent place to cruise skate. There's some small stretches that are a few blocks long north of the pearl, but other than riding in bike lanes or on sidewalks it's all very small areas. Or straight up dangerous areas with too many/too fast of cars, or the roads are just too jacked up to be any kind of fun.
I'm still fairly new to skating, so I'm not looking for a skatepark, I just like cruising around. I'm not against riding in bike lanes, but I feel like kind of a jerk, and riding on sidewalks is dangerous for other people. If I have to do sidewalks, I'm getting off the board every 20 seconds to walk by people.
I think the east side seems better, but I have yet to really be able to go over there. Waterfront I tried, but damn the pavement expansion joints are ROUGH, and riding on the Naito bike lane kinda sucks.

For the last several months the app (iPhone) hasn’t worked for me. More specifically, it will show me the current state of the car, but I can’t do anything beyond that. It times out every time I try to lock the doors, turn on the HVAC, etc. the app worked generally pretty good for a while, but then just stopped working. I thought 2.7 would fix it, then I thought 2.9 might fix it.
In all my searching I haven’t been able to find instructions that include all the steps necessary to make this work. My experience has been that I need to piece together all the steps from different sources.
Something like do these steps in the car (login to your Polestar account, make sure you have enabled all the privacy settings, whatever else I’m missing), now do this on your phone, etc. would be helpful. Does anyone know of a resource that walks through all the steps necessary from beginning to end?
I’m just looking to make sure I have done all the right steps before I make an appointment at my space. I tried contacting support and they told me to bring it in…

I’m a new OG owner who is primarily looking at bird visitors, but we live on a street with a lot of traffic and the camera is obviously very excited to note each car and person. That’s ok, I don’t mind sifting through the videos to see when my crow or blue jay crew pops by. However, is there a way in the app to manually tag/heart/like/save (any version of noting that it’s a relevant video) so I can easily find it later? Since I’m paying for cloud storage I don’t really want to download all these, but my kiddo likes seeing when the blue jay grabs a peanut.

Alone in his office, Luka turned off MeChat and leaned back in his chair and tried to calm down. It was almost closing time, one hour to go, and then he would be free to unwind properly. Maybe Jared would be interested in a video chat. Images of what sort of video chat that would be did little to calm him and with a groan he got to his feet and headed for the door. He had almost made it to the bathroom when the cashier paged him over the intercom to come upfront, that there was someone here to see him. Taking a few deep breaths, Luka slipped into business mode and prayed his bulge wasn’t noticeable as he answered the summons.
A young man with pink hair and dressed in a black duster was talking to the cashier, unaware of Luka’s approach until the last moment when he turned around with a cheeky grin on his face. It took a huge effort for Luka keep a professional demeanor and his tone neutral.
“Hello. I’m Mr. McEntire, store manager. Is there something I can help you with?”
“Yes. There’s something I need to show you,” Jared nodded thanks to the cashier before walking away, forcing Luka to follow after.
When they were safely at the other end of the store, hidden behind clothes racks, Jared turned to him. “Sorry for dropping in like this but when you said you were working it was too good an opportunity to pass.”
“I should have known you were up to something when you ended our chat the way you did,” Luka smiled and held his arms up halfway. “So? Do I pass the catfish test?”
“I’ll say. It’s so refreshing when someone matches the profile picture. Hopefully, I’m one of those people.”
“Oh you are. So, now that we both validated each other, is there something I can help you with?”
Jared went over to a tie rack and ran his fingers over them while looking at Luka with a raised eyebrow. Shaking his head, Luka picked up a navy striped tie and showed Jared the price.
“As much as I’d like to play I can’t risk the merchandise. We can set up a date, a real date, and I promise to bind you with whatever restraint you want for as long as you want. I’m into role play and have a few toys of my own.”
“Fair enough. I’ll go home and give this some thought, do a little scenario research and text you later.”
“I look forward to it,” Luka wrapped the tie partially around Jared’s neck and gave it a little tug. “Don’t keep me waiting.”
“Or what?” Jared challenged, licking his lips. “You going to spank me?”
“Maybe, or maybe I’ll do some research of my own on punishments,” Luka pulled the tie slowly from Jared’s neck before hanging it back on the rack.
“You’re off to a good start. I’m so horny right now I might bust a nut on the way to the car.”
“At least you get to go home. I have to do it in the bathroom here and work another hour. Now go before we both cause a mess.”
They parted with a handshake after which Luka made a beeline to the bathroom, his head full of date possibilities.

Hello all - hope this post is okay, read the rules and didn't see anything that seemed to conflict.
As a new 2023 Miata owner (200 miles on it!), I'm getting used to the vehicle, but some items in the infotainment system annoy me. I was searching online and found Mazda Tweaks, and would like to install them. I downloaded the app and built my USB stick, but having no luck getting the install screen to pop up. In fact, I'm having little luck finding detailed instructions. So my first post here is an ask for help:

1. Can Mazda AIO Tweaks be installed on 74.00.324 NA N? (Internet seems to think yes)
2. Does it matter which of the two USB ports I plug the USB stick into? (Tried both)
3. Does the car need to be running or just have the ignition on?
4. If you've done this, how long did the prompt take to appear after startup?

i dont know whats next i feel like im in limbo. im 29 yrs old and already feel like i'm done. i graduated in 2020 with a social science degree (Bachelors) from a nice state university, paid for it working the whole time i was enrolled, working as a salesman in the local mall, so i got no loan debt, and i also built up a mid 800s credit score. i was laid off from my mall job in 2020 3 months before i graduated college, covid hit, didn't work the next 1.5 years (depression, anxiety, COVID-19, my partner was working, etc). But, I did manage to make about 100 grand in 2021 when i was unemployed trading meme stocks and crypto, since i didn't leave my parents house or do much of anything else. i ended up parlaying like 65 grand of that into a downpayment on a house in a different state with my at the time partner, then pissed away the rest buying stuff for the house, expensive dinners, etc, for me and my at the time partner. early 2022 she cheats on me and moves out. I finally found a low level managerial job at a local company that pays "decent" for the LCOL area i live in. my mortgage is cheap at least, and i am currently saving like maybe 300 or 400 bucks a month relatively easily since im a bachelor right now and live super cheap. as far as savings go, i got maybe 25 grand in old 401ks and a self directed IRA i made when i was still working in 2020, and like 10 grand as an emergency fund in my bank account, an old beater car, and this house, and thats pretty much it. no friends, no relationships aside from my biological family.
ive been working this current job for a year now. i neither love it or hate it. it is what is it. it's a simple job and is a steady check. i probably work like 20 - 25 hours but i get full time (40hr) pay per week, which is why i've stayed at this job as long as i have now. sometimes, i get bursts of motivation to go on an application spree where i go to indeed and apply for random jobs that seem interesting or more fulfilling to me. 95% of the time i hear nothing back, but the past month i got 2 inquires back, one i filled out a ton of info on for a background check and stuff, and its still processing, the other was a job with the state and they called me 3 or 4 days ago now wanting to do an interview but i ghosted them because it only paid like 4 or 5 bucks more an hour than im making now for a 30 minute one way commute, something i'm not interested in doing, considering my current commute is a 10 minute round trip.
i really have no interest/desire to learn a new skill, as apathetic as that sounds. i worked hard for my current degree, and i would one day like to make the best out of it. please don't just say "learn computer coding" or "learn programming" or drive a truck or learn the trades. i'm a very adept writer, but i am not pursing copy-writing because the market is flooded with people with way more experience than me and i really doubt i could find the motivation to work out of the house fully remote. unfourtanely i have several physical/mental impairments, namely, heart conditions since childhood (atrial fibrilation), weak connective tissue issues, already developing athritis, have struggled heavily with depression on and off since i was a kid, as well as more than likely having undiagnosed ADHD. i also have multiple non verbal learning disorders, i have never taken a math class higher than geometry, . this isn't a cop out, its just a reality of my life that i have to set my expectations to a level where i wont feel self hatred.
basically, i'm just lost what to do next. many people would love to be in the position i am with a 3.2% mortgage that costs me less than 1 week of work, but it just feels unfulfilling. i really dont care about being a homeowner, it's not the accomplishment i thought it would be. some days i wont lie, i wish i could move back to my hometown and live back with my brother, (my mom bought me and my brother a condominium in our home town in 2017 when my grandmother passed with an inheritance she received). honestly, the loneliness is beginning to eat me up inside. on my days off, i sometimes dont even leave the house and can go over 24 hours with no communication with anyone, in person or even virtually. it just sounds pathetic for a 29 yr old with a degree to move back to his hometown and pick up the pieces and start a new path, but i just cant imagine continuing to live like this.

I (13 F) have been in a lot of friendships in my life, especially in middle school. I have a best friend of 7 years who has always tried to include me in everything. Lately, she introduced me to her new friend group and it took a while for them to value me, even when I sat with them at lunch. After a whole school year, they still don’t invite me to things, and my best friend started to hang out with them more. I questioned it and brought it up to her, and she told me that I should ask them to hang out. I did, they said that sounds great, and then proceeded to never speak about said plan to hang out. I put up with this because I thought that is what friends are nowadays. However, I started to become friends with a classmate of mine that has similar interest as me.
My friends don’t like her, though, and they show it. They ask me questions like “Why would you hang out with her?” Today, my best friend made a really rude comment that made me realize who I have been hanging out with. To sum it up, one of my friends got hit by a car and I posted about it on my snap story. She swiped up and said “Oh god please tell me it was insert new friend’s name” Even when I told her that what she said was incredibly wrong, she showed no remorse.
I hung out with my new friend today, and we had so much fun. She came over to my house and we played games, listened to our favorite artists, and even watched my favorite show while eating pizza. It was amazing, and at the end, we made plans to see each other again tomorrow. I still can’t believe someone values me that much as their friend. My other friends never even talk to me first.
