Hi everyone, I recently purchased the Cyberpunk Red manual and almost finished reading it I'm preparing myself to run my first one shot with this system as a DM. My idea was running a sort of modern Baba Yaga themed game (atomic heart may or may not have inspired me) I want to know if everything looks good and to have some help filling in a couple of holes. What I have in my head right now is: The party gets called in the badlands for a job. The contractors are a group of Russian nomads that recently moved in the surroundings of night city They are carrying a lot of old Soviet military tech they got for a good price. The party arrives at a tent, where people are drinking and a girl is singing and a person is boxing a robot, nothing too special. The players get welcomed by two Russian guys who explain that something strange happened to them: An old lady was asking for help (with what? Help me here. What this might concern will appear clearer later), but they refused to help her, so she "threw a curse on them" If they don't give her what she wants, all the robots they got will become self aware, and turn on them and flee. One of the two Russians is pretty scared, the other is skeptical. It is at this point, the screen on the TV shows the face of the "witch" and loud noises erupt from the speakers. The old lady says that they didn't comply, so they deserve what's coming. The boxing robot looses control and starts attacking the people in the tent while a lot of the robots are fleeing the scene. When the party calms the situation, the Russian blockes ask the party to follow the fleeing robots to find out where "Baba Yaga" lives and stop her. Here I'm unsure if I want to implement a "Flying Baba Yaga's Hut" in which she escapes to a different location (potentially making the game too long) The final consists in the party entering an abandoned place and fighting their way to the bottom level to find Baba Yaga and stop/kill her What the players will discover (either through talking to the old lady or by infiltrating the net architecture of the place or finding something) is that no magic is involved. Baba Yaga is actually a pretty good netrunner that hacked their tech and was working with a corporation. The corporation wanted something from the Russians, but they refused. (What do they want? I don't know, help me here) So they sent the fake witch to scare them, knowing they are really superstitious. So the "help request" she made before might be related to what the corporation wants. Obviously they can choose to help the "witch"/corporation instead of the nomads, and will have a different reward for doing so (maybe more money, whereas the nomads give less money but add a gun or something like that) Tell me what you think, I'm open to all critics

On the one tail, this was her dungeon and her creatures, she really wanted them to at least have a good showing! On another tail, her mom was turning out to be way cooler than she ever thought. On a third tail, her husband was working hard to make this a challenge, and she didnât want his efforts to go to waste. It was a good thing kitsune could count problems on tails instead of on hands. The thought made her want to giggle, but even in her own head that sounded like stress laughter, and repressed it. Which was not an easy thing for her to do, but it wasnât as bad as usual. Which brought up another point of mixed feelings. When Mordecai had asked her to trust him, sheâd only given it a momentâs thought. Aside from the fact that over the past several weeks she had fallen for him, sheâd also already thrown her lot in with him. In for a copper, in for a gold. Though it didnât hurt that she had the security of knowing most of the people there. She knew her husband was clever, a clever person wasnât going to do something stupid near such a crowd, so therefore he wasnât doing something stupid. Or at least not the bad sort of stupid, but there was the risk of impulsive-stupid, which she only considered after sheâd had the tea. She was rather familiar with the subject of impulsive-stupid on a personal level. She hadnât noticed what the tea was doing until Mordecai had asked her how she was feeling, which caused Kazue to take a moment to reflect on how she was feeling. Which was to say, she was feeling great, and that in itself was kind of scary. Mostly because she didnât know why she was feeling great. And if she didn't know to analyze what and how she was thinking, it's easy not to notice what her mind was doing. Her core and avatar had already split their focus to different things, yet her head didnât hurt while keeping track of conversations, and she didn't need to retreat into her thoughts to recover from the effort. It was still kind of tiring, but it was tolerable, and it didnât make her feel quite so fuzzy-headed. Which meant she was entirely free to pay attention to both what Mordecai was doing and what was going on with the party itself, and still keep track of the conversation with the Matr-, er, with Aia. Though by the time the party had decided to take a short break for the fourth floor, she was feeling it wear off, and leaned into Mordecai to quietly ask, âUm, that tea you made for me earlier, could I have another?â He looked over at her thoughtfully, and she could feel him weighing options. âIs it feeling noisy again?â Kazue nodded mutely. She felt embarrassed, though she couldnât have told anyone why she was embarrassed. And âfuzzyâ seemed more accurate to her, but she could see someone else call it noisy. Which left her wondering how he knew. Even more puzzled was Moriko, who was stuck watching the two of them talk about a subject indirectly without having yet been let in on the topic. But with a guest it wasnât time to get into any of it, so he simply made a cup for her and handed it over. This time she watched the creation of the brew carefully, and made note of its ingredients. She blinked. It wasnât that hard to make, and she was able to backfill the conceptual process to create it. Start with a blend of about 90% tea leaves, plus a few other herbs noted for helping with alertness such as ginseng and ginger, brew a big pot of it, make it strong, then just remove a lot of the water. Add honey to compensate for the taste, which only helped so much. That was it? Just a concentrated wake-up brew? OK, not âjustâ, she wasnât sure how most people would be able to concentrate it that much without burning it. But that was all it took to make her head feel more like when she was zoned in? And how the hells did he know? She had so many questions, but she still only had two 'minds', and one needed to focus on entertaining their guest while the other was keeping track of what was going on in the rest of the dungeon.So for the moment she just tried to sip at her bitter brew. At least she could make her own now and as a direct copy. Mordecai was the one who had spent time bringing the concept into existence in their shared information. âWhat is going on with you three?â Aia asked with a sigh. âIf you can speak of it of course.â Mordecai and Moriko looked towards their guest, but Kazue could feel that the decision weighed on her. It was her issue after all. She only hesitated a moment. âItâs complicated, and I need to take some time to figure it out. Depending upon what I learn, I may call upon you when I can to talk about it. But right now it is private, sorry. It just needed to be dealt with quickly.â Kazue said. The dark-haired nine-tail tilted her head to the side as she gave Kazue a curious look, briefly becoming The Matriarch again. It made Kazue nervous, but she was able to keep herself restrained to just flickering her ears slightly, and refused to fill in the silence. âVery well, I apologize for prying, but seeing all three of you distracted when other things are happening is a little concerning.â Her expression softened as she spoke. âI would be happy to lend an ear later if you chose.â Kazue held back from sighing in relief and changed the topic instead. âSo, Mordecai love, whatâs the game plan? You are too competitive to let this go, but I have to admit they are kind of trashing the place.â This sort of stuff was very much not her forte, but she also knew that she needed to learn it. He smiled in response. âI havenât fully formed all of my ideas yet, but I know where I want to start. I want to fill in two of our boss spots. Horace for our second fourth-floor boss, and our stony friend for our second raid boss. I know more about what I want to do with an earth elemental, Iâve been thinking about it since he came to us, but I am open to ideas with Horace, assuming neither you nor Horace have any objections.â Kazue pulled an absolute blank on anything special to have her librarian do in an actual fight. His ability to eject people from the library was a function of her intent to enforce the rules that were part of the challenge. Her mind briefly bounced to thinking about how focused Mordecai had been about âintentâ recently, but then she yanked her thoughts back on track. âIâm OK with it. Iâll ask Horace, you talk to the elemental.â She closed her eyes briefly to send her mental query to the orangutan, and after some consideration got an affirmative âookâ. That made her pause a second in confusion. Apes were already rather smart creatures, and she was certain that the upgrades sheâd given him should enable him to physically speak, and thus more than capable mentally. Was he just choosing not to? She shook that off and opened her eyes. âHe says yes. Well, âookâ, but Iâm pretty certain itâs a yes.â Mordecai raised an eyebrow, and she just shrugged to show her confusion. âOK then.â Mordecai replied, âWell, Iâve also gotten an affirmation, and Iâve named him Enki. Heâs soaking up the mana pool for his slot and growing right now, and Iâve made sure to emphasize the traits I want for him, namely that he can flow unimpeded through all stone, including worked stone and dungeon stone. Outside of that, I suspect heâs mostly going to be brute strength at first, though I am sure heâll develop more abilities as we all grow stronger.â He leaned forward over the table where his illusion was displayed and moved it to show the boss room for the library. âGiven his abilities, Enki has an entire floor to hide under, and pop up at the right time to land surprise attacks. Itâs hard for people to look up and down at the same time. But while Biblios out in the open is fine for a weaker group, with three strong spell casters heâd be blasted out of the air quickly. So I want to also develop some cover for Biblios, and integrate Horace into the fight. So I am opening the floor to ideas before I talk about my own, I don't want to cut off any thoughts.â The four of them looked at the illusion in silence for a little while. Aia was probably not going to give any of her thoughts, she had a bit of a conflict of interest here. And Kazue was coming up blank trying to figure out what sort of special powers sheâd want to give an ape to become a boss. She had a feeling that making him bigger would just make things worse here. âOh, I have an idea!â Moriko said with sudden excitement animating her. âSo, in addition to our regular training, we often get some opportunities to spar with various masters who are passing through. This is to say, we âtrade pointersâ by getting beaten up, and hopefully manage to learn something in the process. And to be fair, most of us do. Anyway, one of them was the crazy old dude who had mastered Monkey Style. And not just ground fighting either. The arena for him was put together with a lot of our climbing exercise equipment plus extra scaffolding put together just for this. We were given a day to get used to fighting in the arena, and it was clear that this guy wasnât going to be staying on the ground, so we got used to climbing everything as best we could. Didnât matter. That man could swing through there like he was an actual monkey. Bastard broke my nose when he swung down for a kick, then let go of his âbranchâ while he still had momentum, pushing me back before he used me as a launch point to jump up to a different branch.â She shook her head with a rueful smile. âIt was a blast, but Iâm thankful for healing magic, or Iâd probably have a crooked nose.â Kazue was having trouble visualizing it exactly, but Mordecai was smiling evilly, so she knew that she was going to find out, and moments later she could feel Mordecai begin to reshape the Annex. While he did so, Moriko continued to talk about the visiting master. âHe was amazing. Our masters sent us into the arena in groups of ten, 15 minutes apart, or when the last trainee went down, whichever happened first. Lots of people tried to form defensive groups to buy time and let our numbers build, but I donât think any group ever hit the 15-minute mark. He had the best stories too. Apparently, he met a group of awakened apes and monkeys who were studying in a far-off monastery on another continent. Given how perfect his fighting style was, I could almost believe his tales. Though I am pretty certain he was ribbing us on one thing, he claimed the head monk of the monastery was a silver-back named Ki.â There was a heartbeat of stunned silence as that awful pun settled into place, and Kazue burst into giggle fits. âOh gods above, that has to be a joke, right? Like, no druid would actually do that to a creature they awakened, would they?â Ki, the ape monk. The idea was ridiculous. Mordecai only shook his head in amusement while he continued his work, and Aia sighed, lowering her face into her hands. Moriko grinned. âI know, I am with you on that. But he swore up, down, and sideways that it was true. We tried to get him drunk to see if heâd change his tune, but the man could guzzle fermented drakeâs bane without blinking an eye.â She snorted. âMixed advantage of our training I guess. Harder to poison, but harder to enjoy a drink too.â While she was talking, Mordecai had finished modifying the Annex, growing branches between the bookcases in a complicated pattern, but as he did so Kazue noticed him doing something else as well, creating covered intersections and tying them together. Not physically, but⊠she turned the full attention of her core there and watched ... something being connected. Language was failing her to describe the connections, but as she watched her core instinctively analyzed what he was doing, and she felt herself absorbing mathematical concepts sheâd never heard of. It itched. Specifically, it made her core itch. That was new, not to mention extremely unpleasant, and not entirely accurate since the core didnât have nerves, but once again language failed to give her an exact word, and itch described so many physical and mental sensations already. He also connected the network of intersections to a dozen points in newly carved tunnels behind the bookcases. But these were a little different, they drifted randomly throughout the tunnels. âWhat is up with those connection points? And why does that set drift randomly, and why are they set behind the bookcases instead of in the arena?â Mordecai chuckled softly âWell, this is me testing my limits. What Iâve done is connect these points,â here he highlighted the spots on the map for Moriko and Aia to see, âso that they are spatially adjacent. Itâs not entirely a new thing for us, you touched on this sort of reality-changing when you created the library. The fourth floor is not 5 stories below the third, yet the library fits just fine. Donât look at all of it, higher dimensional math is one thing, actually seeing in higher dimensions as a creature that exists in our three spatial dimensions is another.â Mordecaiâs words made Kazue start, as that was exactly what she was about to do. At first she was thinking he just knew her that well, but then she made a different connection. âOh, you did that before didnât you?â âGuilty as charged, though that was in my original dungeon, and I had ten floors at the time. My core had a headache for a week. No, donât ask me how that works, as far as I can tell I never figured that one out. That was one of the memories I kept as a warning, I would be so annoyed if I experienced that again, then recovered the memory that could have prevented it. But as for the random ones, it offsets things a bit. It does make it harder for the party to figure out which bookshelf Horace might be behind, but it also makes it harder for Horace to have an opening exactly where he wants. Though with sufficient time he can also just dash through the tunnels. I made sure there are plenty of vertical sections and hand grips everywhere. This way he can potentially ambush from behind them as well. Once the party knows that he can move between the intersections, they probably won't think about a different set of locations until Horace uses them.â She could well imagine how annoying that would be. Kazue also had an idea that might work with this ambush setup. âOh, Mordecai, I had a thought. So, I kind of want Horace to keep the librarian theme, what if he could use books as weapons? Maybe throw them or something if someone isnât close?â Mordecai tilted his head thoughtfully, while Moriko chuckled. âI know Horace wonât be up to my old masterâs skill, but the idea of throwing that style together with a teleporting âarcherâ sounds all kinds of annoying. Not necessarily much more deadly, but frustrating.â The monkâs words made Mordecai smile evilly once more. âYou are quite right love, it would be. And imagine if he could not only throw heavy tomes, but ink as well? And I donât just mean ink, I mean any ink.â Moriko looked a touch confused, but his comment sent Kazueâs mind racing, and she could see from Aiaâs expression that the matriarch was following the same chain of thought. There were a lot of things that were considered inks. The line between ink and paint was a lot blurrier than most people thought, it mostly was about what surface it was going to be applied to. And there were a lot of different types of paper too. And then there were special ink compositions done for various symbols, religious or arcane. She could feel her core analyzing all her memories of doing art and calligraphy at the temple, expanding the concept of ink as far as it could and cross-referencing with the materials available to them. Kazue also felt Mordecai act while her mind raced with possibilities, officially assigning Horace as their second fourth-floor boss and feeding his intent for a combined monk and projectile slinger, complete with an image of a satchel on either side. Then the node pulled that intent from them, combining their ideas together into a new whole as it merged with Horaceâs form, drawing an evil smile from her to match Mordecai's. âOh, I canât wait to see what thatâs going to be like!â The process had made her a bit dizzy actually, but she was excited to have been more directly part of the boss-making process like that. Unfortunately, that was going to be a while still, which Mordecai was quick to point out. âSince that isnât going to happen soon, I have another thing I want to work on. I wanted to make a special version of the staff for your mother. She may be wrecking the place, but sheâs also dumping a ton of mana into it. Besides, sheâs my mother-in-law, I think I can play favorites a little bit.â As she and Mordecai started getting to work, Kazue couldnât help but overhear Moriko sigh and turn to Aia. âI love them both, but they get wrapped up in this. I get it, and I am happy to contribute where I can, but times like this there isnât a lot for me to do. I donât suppose you happen to have a suitable combat style for a spar? Theyâd barely notice as long as we donât break anything.â The nine-tail laughed softly. âIâm afraid not. Oh, if it came down to it, I can hold my own in close quarters against most foes, but I am another spell specialist. Hmm, if you stop by the clan sometime, I can introduce you to my son. He runs the monastery side of the religious orders. I'm not going to try and draw 1:1 comparisons between two totally different types of games here, but I'm seeing a lot of similarities between the transformation of the Zelda series to what previously occurred with the Fallout series (Fallout 76 not withstanding). For those not in the know, the Fallout series began as a series of top-down isometric turn-based CRPGs made by Interplay in the late 90s. After experiencing financial issues, Interplay ended up licensing, and ultimately selling the Fallout IP to Bethesda (who famously make the Elder Scrolls series). Bethesda used the same engine they did for Elder Scrolls to make the new Fallout games into a fully realized 3D world, but in so doing drastically changed the style of the game, where it became a first-person shooter with RPG elements and a pseudo turn-based aiming system. This drastic shift both alienated some older fans of the series, as well as bringing in a huge number of new players to the franchise. There was also a sizeable contingent who liked the older games who also still liked the newer ones. This shift is rather similar to the one between past Zelda titles and Breath of the Wild, where the old linear formula, dungeon structure, and progression path was tossed out in favor of an open world non-linear progression model. This in turn caused an interesting schism of the Zelda fanbase, those who prefer the older style, and those who prefer the new, with many in the middle who just enjoy Zelda, both old and new for their own reasons. Going back to Fallout for a moment. When Fallout 4 came out, it did very little to quell the fans who preferred the classic style of Fallout. While in almost every way an upgrade from Fallout 3, Fallout 4 was more a progression in kind from what was already established. The overall tone, story, and quest structure remained largely the same between titles, while the gameplay aspects were the key element being tweaked. With one key new focus being capitalizing on the immersion aspects already present in the engine (which allowed a lot of in-game object interaction, and physics). This new focus lead to the crafting and settlement systems, which allowed the player to combine basic components and equipment parts to make new customizable weapons and armor, and to break down objects into raw materials to build settlements. Starting to see the similarities? Tears of the Kingdom in-so-far as we have seen it has done nothing to alleviate the concerns or worries over classic Zelda fans that this game will be in any way returning back to it's older formulas. It is instead doubling down on the aspects inherent in the game engine for Breath of the Wild. Namely by focusing on the modes of exploration (with expanded verticality) and the modes of interaction with the Fuse and Ultra Hand abilities allowing crafting and building respectively. While the underpinning DNA is still present, it is clearly evident that Zelda as a series is evolving in this direction, for better or worse depending on personal preference. It's often a mistake to gamble on what Nintendo will do next, because Nintendo is going to Nintendo, and you'll almost always get blind-sided by something. That being said, I think it's interesting to draw the parallels between what happened with it and other franchises that have undergone similar changing of the guards so to speak. TL;DR - Tears of the Kingdom is to Zelda, as Fallout 4 was to Fallout.

I'm not sure if this has already been proposed, but I think it would be neat if we could move businesses (name, employees, schedule, logistics) to a new location. Perhaps even an option to move the furniture in boxes for a fee, but even just the non-physical stuff would be great. That way, we could more organically grow businesses, especially at the start.

First off, I'm new here just like this guy was there, and this is also my first time ever posting on Reddit, so I apologize if this is the wrong place or I missed out on another post already providing the anwser. Though I wouldn't say that I am new to modding on PC, as I'm playing on Anniversary Edition 1.6.629 and have been using Vortex to install/sort my mods for the most part, I must admit I have little knowledge when it comes to the underlying mechanics of modding and completely ignorant as to how coding works. After I gave up a year ago on modding cause I couldn't resort myself to remove some of my favorite mods even though they were broken or unfinished, it has now been three weeks I am back at it. Everything is now running smoothly in my game. However, just like this guy here (again) I am having a few major issues which also all seem to be interconnected. Those issues are as follows:
My message boxes, books, notes, and journals all have no text in them whatsoever. Sometimes I'll get lucky and be able to load the game and not have this issue, but most of the time the issue persists.
I am unable to load saves in-game. When I attempt to do so, it says that the saves are corrupt and cannot be loaded. It works perfectly fine when I quit to desktop and then reload the game completely.
Since I read his first post and second one, it really looks like we're experiencing the same problem with our respective games, unfortunately his account is long gone now though it seemed he found a solution... that I preemptively applied: I already have Engine Fixes SSE set up, properly, as I ran the checks as instructed on the mod's page. I also made sure my load order is under 250 (currently 246). Furthermore, I also made sure I wouldn't pass the 800k handle warning limit as explained on the same page. I do have heavy world extensions in my load order, such as Moonpath to Elsweyr, Beyond Reach, Beyond Bruma, Northpoint, Wyrmstooth and Vigilant. I don't know if it's a cue that I'll have to choose from now on, but if anyone here has any idea to why the problems I have persist, please let me know, I am growing desperate rigth now. Help, pls Side notes: I merged mods into 4 differents lists to enjoy in the same run all of Schlitzohr's villages, Mnikjom's locations, Mihail's creatures and Axis1211's Thanedoms. As I suspected these Frankenstein's monsters could be the culprits so I removed them from my load order: yet the problem I experienced remained the same on the new game I started (corrupt saves till I start the game again/empty books/blank text boxes). I am looking for my next car to have decent space for cargo, defined by these characteristics: Level loading at the back, no drop after the rim. Generally the lid should open as much of the cross-section of the trunk as possible. By removing or folding down the rear (and if possible front passenger) seat, a flat surface must be obtained, ideally 1.8m long (or at least in the diagonal). I know the Ford Focus Active with the stretched body can do exactly that, but I would like to find some alternatives too. Finding these specs in things like a Caddy or ID buzz is surprisingly hard too and they are utility vehicles, lacking many of the comforts other cars lack. This is why I have turned towards things like a Focus.

Practice with melee muzzles on guns if you aren't used to the way melee-ing works. Start the knife off in infected, then "eliminate" yourself via standing directly in front of a claymore and shooting it. Level the knife up like that, and get some of the kills done like that too. Next, once you have gotten used to the mechanics of the melees, we're going to start creating our loadout. First off, you should put a shield as your primary, or be a gigachad and hold an LMG with the slowest movement and weapon swap speed possible. Next, choose your secondary. I used the knife first, because it was already levelled from infected, but you can also start with the kodachis. The knife is faster, but has less range, whereas the kodachis are slower, but have more range. They both seem to have a lunge, so that's good! The shield, on the other hand, is slower. While the knife and kodachis are really fast, the shield is slow, needing around 3 hits to kill. For our tacticals, we are using either Decoy grenades, heartbeat sensors, or stims. For our lethals, we are picking throwing knives (but any lethal works!) For our perks, there are many combos for this class that could work, so here's some I used: For Aggression: Strong Arm Tracker Fast Hands Overclock For Survivability: Battle Hardened Bomb Squad Cold Blooded Quick Fix But again, whatever you feel works best is fine too! I recommend the one with fast hands for switching between the shield and blade of choice, and for throwing knives faster, but if someone calls a vtol, spams 'nades, or spams flashes, then switch to a package with the survivability perks. Also, Restock replenishes your equipment, and extra tactical is also good for extra decoys. Now, we move to our field upgrades. I mainly used a munitions box, (we need this to replenish equipment) but actuvating pro for a trophy system (blocks projectiles and cruise missiles), or deployable cover (breathing room) is nice to have too! Make your killstreaks UAV, Counter UAV, and Advanced UAV, or keep whatever you have now. For the maps, try to do this in core shipment or al bagra fortress, but not shoothouse or el asilo (unless you can flank to the middle) Now, don't worry about challenges, just stab with one of the secondary melees first. Throw your decoys wherever you think enemies will be, and don't be afraid to throw knives (equipment gives xp to whatever you are holding)! Once you complete the base challenge for one of the secondary melees, focus on that one. Make sure not to kill anyone with anything besides your knife or sword in order to progress your gold challenge. Then, switch to the other secondary melee, and repeat. Now, make sure you get both the knife and kodachis gold and platinum before the shield. After that is done, work on the shield. If both secondaries are gold, then you'll be doing platinum challenges for the shield before unlocking gold for it! You can choose whether or not to unlock the base and gold for the shield. This method also works to skip challenges for one of the secondary melees. Reddit is lagging for me, but if I find more tips I'll edit this post. Hope this helped!

I did do some research on Atari and Commodore, and in 1983 there was a major event going on that had Atari right in the center of it, they called it âthe video game crash of 1983â supposedly it was because of the game E.T for the Atari 2600 that was such a bad game, they had invested so much in the licensing rights for it, and so many people were disappointed by the weird gameplay of the game that Atari just decided it was cheaper to go bankrupt and then drive out into an unknown location in the Nevada desert, and just bury everythingâŠ. Including brand new prototype controllers, software and systems. At the same time Commodore was on their third revision of the, at the time, very popular computer the Commodore 64, which at the center of it had⊠the exact same processor⊠well not exactly the same, but not in a way that would make much of a difference. Meaning they can run the same instructions, though the programs would still end up being majorly different from each other, suppose however that the program could adapt and change itself, mutate like a human virus, so that when it has entered a new system, as long as there is any familiarity in that new system, it could run.. that should never happen in real life though, because that would mean that humanity would be extremely fucked⊠but it does happen.. let me go back a few days and Iâll explain. I finally received the chip reader from china in the mail, so I hooked it up to my modern computer and updated all the drivers and the program, the internet has been slowing down even more lately but there was no rush, good things will come to those who wait as the old saying always goes, when it finally was done I wasted no time in plugging in the rom which the program immediately identified and I clicked read.. It popped up a window which showed the data of the first rom and then prompted me if I wanted to read another one, so I swapped the chip with the second one and clicked âyesâ it began reading, after a while it too read successfully, but this time it didnât show the data, it just popped up another window that read âThank youâ and then began playing what I can only describe as âreally awful high pitched noiseâ at full volume. I wish I could say I recognized it as a data stream in audio form, but at the moment all I could think about was how paralyzingly painful the sound was, my entire head felt like it was going to explode, and it felt like my eyes were about to pop out of their sockets, even though I was squeezing my eyelids shut as hard as I could. While this noise was playing, I had called down to the floor and I couldnât move, I could barely breathe, it probably didnât last very long, but if youâve ever been in an almost panicked state before, you know that time seems to slow down significantly and you become hyper aware of the tiniest of details, everything in the entire room seemed to start vibrating and shaking violently. After what felt like hours of torturous noise there was a loud pop and it all went quiet, âway too quietâ I thought, as I slowly started to open my eyes to take a look around, I noticed that all my computers had turned off, I tried moving and getting back up very slowly because it felt like one thousand razorblades had grazed every single part of my skin, even if I couldnât see any pierced skin it still hurt massively in a stinging kind of way. I had to get back to my computer though to see what was going on, I tried turning it back on but it completely refused, no lights turning on, no fan noise, no nothing, I took a deep breath trying to think what couldâve happened but my brain felt like it was made out of maple syrup. I donât think youâll blame me for what I did next, I simply panicked, grabbed my coat, the commodore and my phone, I put the coat on in a hurry and went out to my car and just drove, aimlessly, thatâs when I do my best thinking anyway, and I was considering just dumping the commodore like the previous owner but thatâs when I noticed something, I could not hear the car engine, at all, and I happened to take a glance at my rear view mirror, red glistening liquid was seeping out of my ears âit mustâve gotten so loud that it blew out my eardrumsâ I mumbled to myself, feeling creeped out by the sight of the blood. I couldnât stop staring though, as the blood started coming out my nose as well, I tried wiping it off on my shirt, but it just wouldnât stop. Somehow though, the sight of the blood made me remember the code that flashed up on the screen before everything went crazy, when I first saw it I didnât pay much attention to it, but now that I was thinking about it, I did see something slightly off about it in the header section that was translated to ASCII. âAtari inc copyright 1982â and then what looked like coordinates, I do have a very good memory for numbers, so I just punched it into the GPS and I started heading that way. I think that the blood loss started to seriously affect me after a while, because I saw things that should not have been possible on that drive, things like angels with torn tattered clothes, scorched flesh and soaked in blood flying around on the sky, strange animals that looked like regular ones, but they looked wrong, especially considering that herbivores, like horses and rabbits, shouldnât be chewing on corpses. They didnât even bother to move as I drove past, so it mustâve been hallucinations right !? On the way I did have to stop for gas, it was quite a long drive, I thought that I might as well fill up on some snacks and empty my bladder, and while I was washing my hands and face trying to get all the blood off, for a split second I thought I could hear some faint whispering, which made my head spin so much that I had to brace myself.. When I was finally done in the bathroom I went over to pay the cashier, I still couldnât hear anything, which made it a bit clunky to pay, but I just paid through my phone as usual anyway and went back out to my car, the rest of the drive went by in a hurry, I canât really remember much about it, more than that I saw more angels and weird shadowy figures behind the trees, but I did finally arrive at my destination and that does bring us back to more current events. When I got out of my car I saw what looked like a big concrete bunker out in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by a big forrest, my only thought was : what they did here sure seemed like they really wanted to keep things secret from the public. There was a big metal door under a small overhang , so I went up to it and tried the handle, it was of course locked but I decided that Iâd just knock on it, I just stood there immobile for a bit, thinking of what I should do if there wasnât any response, however the handle eventually jiggled and the door slid ajar. Hesitant I opened the door and entered, only to be struck by a bright light and vibrant warm feeling environment, when my eyes had adjusted I saw that the walls were covered with half height wood paneling and white wallpaper with small red Atari logos painted on them, there were chairs and sofas around the walls with plants next to them that looked so fresh and nice that I wondered if they were plastic, but more importantly there were people hunched over sitting in those sofas and chairs, they looked like they were sleeping. I did move closer though calling out to them to see if theyâd wake up, no response, I moved even closer and poked one of them with my finger, he fell over on the ground and I could see that they were just mannequins.. hmm why would they have mannequins here ? I noticed that there was a reception area as well, the countertop seemed to be made out of a granite slab sitting on top of their volcano logo, I walked up to it and saw that there was a chair with yet another mannequin in it, in front of the mannequin there was a computer, it was on and I thought I could find the floor plan on it, and sure enough browsing through the files I did find the floor plan, and one area on the map showed just what I wanted to see âsubliminal test area 1â. I hurried over there running through empty corridors and glass doors only to find what looked like an operating table, with a mannequin torso and a big flat blade screwdriver on it, I couldnât resist touching the torso, how odd⊠it felt like real skin when I touched it, but I was quickly brought out of my thoughts when I heard a repeated banging noice, I looked over and saw a window, and on the other side of that window, a woman was banging on it with her hands trying to get my attention.. I walked up to the it and took a look at her, she was roughly 1,65 Meters tall and had her red curly hair back in a pony tail, her pale blue eyes, were stunningly beautiful. She also had a lab coat on with an Atari logo on it. She told me that she had managed to get trapped in the adjacent room and that the mannequins were in fact robots that did most of the maintenance in this facility, and that the mannequin on the table was the one in charge of this room, so if I could just grab some spare parts from the other ones that I saw earlier and get her out of there, she would be very grateful. Not being able to resist the request of a beautiful woman, I grabbed the screwdriver from the table and hurried back to the main lobby, when I got there I did notice that most of the robots actually were missing some limbs, so I had to pick different limbs from different robots, it was pretty easy, I shoved the screwdriver into the sockets and gave it a twisted and off they came with a squish, they were heavier than I expected though so I had to make at least 3 runs, I carried the head last, it was dripping what looked like hydraulic fluid though so I had to take carful steps but hurry so that it wouldnât dry out. All I did was then place the limbs on the table and robotic tendril like arms came out and put the robot together again and filled it up with the important liquids it needed. In a jolt it came to life, sat up with unblinking eyes, walked over to what looked like just another piece of the wall, but when he touched it there was a purple glow around his hand and a concealed door opened in the wall, the woman that was trapped behind the window came running out and thanked me, she told me her name is Zoe, she also told me that she worked at this facility as a programmer, according to her, back in their heyday, she made a demo for the new Atari computers that would hold subliminal messages that would increase the cravings in the customer for their new products, but that it would adapt so that the messages would be different from person to person, however something went wrong with the program when they tested it in the 80s and the program would act more like a computer virus and jump from one machine to another adapting and mutating to its new environment, making you see what it wanted you to see, so they had to cover everything up and bury all their things in the desert so that nobody would ever find it again. And that sent a chill down my spine, because stupidly enough when I read the roms, the computer was hooked up to the internet, I told Zoe about it, but all she said was âI knowâ and hit me right in the head with a hammer.. and everything went black.. Everything was dark when I woke up again, nothing looked the same as it did, more than that the rooms looked similar, except rotten and run down, the wood paneling was peeling and moldy, there was graffiti on the walls.. and is that⊠brain matter and blood smeared on the wallpaper ? Somehow seeing all this made a smile grow on my face and I started to laugh, hysterically, like one of those laughs that you can barely control, almost like I wasnât even in control over my own body anymore, like all my limbs werenât my own. With a tremendous amount of willpower though I was able to start moving my feet, it was more like dragging them though, but I decided it was best if I headed back to the main lobby to get out of here, the thing is though what I just saw in the lobby was a pretty sight, rotting carpet, blood, intestines and mold mixed everywhere, in a way thatâs kinda funny, or at least thatâs what Zoe keeps saying, sheâs making me laugh at the dismembered corpses that was sitting in the chairs and sofas⊠I poked one right in the eye, he didnât move and was definitely human, I giggled at it for a second, before I could focus and remember what I needed to do. Giggling to myself I dragged my feet over to the door and tried the handle, of course it was locked, so now it seems like Iâm stuck in here, my phone battery is running low, and the only company I have here is Zoe, I canât see her but I hear her, sheâs telling me to have fun, to rip everyoneâs eyes out, to split everyoneâs brains open and to paint the walls beautiful with blood and guts.. oh and Zoe wants to tell you guys on here something, âyou will get a new best friend tooâ

Hi there, Really loving this game but I'm stuck. I went back to camp at O leg tavern and they want me to kill a bore and also gather berries after killing some spiders but I don't see what I do next to find the stag lord. There is one area of the map that is highlighted called:A ford across the Skunk river but its blocked by a group that just says there's nothing to do but turn around. How do I progress the story to find the Stag lord? There one quest that isn't resolved that could bring me closer to the stag lord. Basically it says now that the temple is cleared out, head back to the tavern and tell Jhod what happened at the temple. I found this video and this is not happening in my game, in this video when you return to the trading post the fairy appears and says location of stag lord has been revealed on my game that is not happening...https://youtu.be/BV342LVWhNk?t=1381 I talked to Jhod and now it says wait for the fog to clear and it will show the location of the stag lord. But no fairy has shown up and told me the location of the stag lord... So basically the quest says wait until fog clears and then I can find the stag lord but how do I make the fog disappear?
