2023.06.05 10:37 nnavenn recs for quiet-ish locations in/near KIX for Zoom meetings
Hi all, I wonder if y’all can help me plan a tight travel day on Thursday. I’m looking for recommendations or intel on places to participate in two Zoom meetings during the day in advance of an early evening flight. Quietemore reliable wifi/outlets, etc, would be a plus.
I fly to Seoul on Peach (lame terminal) at 6pm. Before that, I have a meeting from 10:30-12:30 and another from 2:30 to 4:30. I’ll have to talk in both, not just listen.
I’ll start the day in Kyoto so could go all the way to KIX first or move midway or the whole way at the lunch hour. If there are decent spots at KIX just heading all the way there prior to the first meeting and camping out all day works for me….last time I was through it was a corona ghost town (hence the Q).
Thanks for any advice!

2023.06.05 10:12 mice7770001 Build SFF PC with strong CPU.
Hi,I need a fast PC for programming, so consider to use I9-13900 CPU. Graphics is fine to be integrated in the CPU (no external graphics card).I also want it small (currently I have 1L PC so I know it can be small). However I try to build SFF PC now, for cooling not be that noisy.
Below is my setup of components.
I'm not sure about if CPU cooling will work that way, because only space in the box for 120mm fan is right above CPU, and box height is only 10cm. Also there's space for two 80mm fans at side of the box.
And I'm not sure overall, if chosen components will work together, and fit in that "small form factor" box.
Can someone give an advice? Mainly about the cooling.
Thanks!

2023.06.05 10:01 be_ki9d GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Eagle 8GB ( Pre-Owned ) Price and Test
So i'm about to get a GPU ( Pre-Owned ) for my RIG
SPEC-
CPU - Ryzen 5 5600 ( non x )
MOTHERBOARD - MSI B550M Pro VDH WIFI
RAM - 8*2=16gb Corsair Vengeance RGB RS ( 3200mhz )

PSU - Cooler Master MWE 650W Bronze V2
CABINET - Cooler Master CMP520

So my question is regarding the price and testing of GPU. The Graphic Card is GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Eagle 8GB ( non OC ). Its 6 months old and with bill and box ( 2.5 years warranty left ). Condition is like new, just used for casual gaming. I saw the ad on facebook and the seller ( not dealer ) is from my area, i will personally go and will do all stress tests. He's asking for INR 25k and i gave him offer of INR 23k. So please tell me what is the best price for this card, what things to look for physically in card and what are the tests i need to do before buying it ( please mention names of softwares, duration to run that software and what are the tempratures to check on, while idle and on load. Hey everyone. Trying to build a new PC for mega 1440p gaming max settings/4K future upgrade to pair with a new 7900XTX (maybe 4080 if I can stand nvidias cringe pricing). 2023.06.05 09:36 visagedemort Current PC Upgrades Lists ( have them from PC part picker)
Hi there everyone,
Basically I am looking to upgrade my PC and I have made some lists on the PC Part Picker. The only difference is the motherboard and cpu combo.
In option 2 there is the option to change the ASRock B760 PRO RS/D4 for the MSI Pro B760-P WIFI DDR4, or upgrade it for a better one (MSI MAG B760 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR4) but I would like to hear an opinion on if it is worth it to get the MSI Pro instead of the Asrock one.
I am planning on OCing a bit but not that much and definitely undervolting.
I am open to other recommendations regarding different PC Parts but on the same price if it is possible ( I am located in Europe/Greece if you could also look for the price in my country since it varies compared to others). Thank you very much in advance! (I have the RAM but I put mostly for the reason that I am staying on DDR4 and not planning to upgrade and that might affect the cpu choice I believe?).

2023.06.05 09:25 Shibe45 Intel Core i3 13100 Help
I was looking for good graphics cards and CPU's, and I thought the Intel Core i3 13100 seemed pretty decent for Elden Ring / modded Minecraft (I don't know if that's necessarily true, I just looked up some FPS tester sites and it seemed to run okay)
Then I did some more research and found out bottlenecks were a thing. Now I am sooo confused, so I thought it'd just be smarter to ask rather than do research. So, what's a good graphics card to match the Core i3 in terms of bottlenecking?
Also, is the Core i3 not good enough for what I want to run it on? I'm open to suggestions for better ones - I just don't want to spend too much money, and I don't think I need any more than 90 FPS if I'm being honest. If possible, I'd like suggestions for cards and CPU's that are available on the DreamPC website, as that is the site I'm using to build my PC.
Thanks!

2023.06.05 09:16 PhotojournalistNo721 PSA: eGPU (Akitio Node Titan) is finicky with Asus Zenbook 14X OLED (UX5400ZF)
For anyone considering purchasing an Asus Zenbook 14X OLED (UX5400ZF) to use with an eGPU for mission-critical work, then please buy at your own risk. Despite having Thunderbolt 4, the Zenbook UX5400ZF is inconsistent about eGPU connectivity.
- After Asus firmware update to version 309 (i.e., UX5400ZF.309), the eGPU cannot be utilized at all. It shows up in Device Manager with a yellow warning triangle on the icon.
- Prior to firmware 309, about 30-40% of the time, when I plug in the eGPU, Windows 11 gets the blue screen of death. It is worth noting that this issue showed up a few months after using the eGPU - I have no idea what system update(s) caused it.
- For the cases when it does not blue screen, 90% of the time I need to reboot to get the laptop to properly utilize the eGPU. When this is the case, the eGPU shows up in Device Manager with a yellow warning triangle on the icon.
- After disconnecting the eGPU (which must be performed using "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" function in the System Tray), you have to reboot the laptop to reconnect the laptop's onboard discrete GPU (RTX 2050) for use. Otherwise, it shows up in Device Manager with a yellow warning triangle, and only Intel Iris Xe graphics are available for use.
eGPU Model: aKitio Node Titan
GPU Card inside eGPU: nVidia Quadro RTX4000 (with production branch drivers)
Laptop Stats: i7-1260P. 16 GB RAM. 1 TB SDD. RTX2050 / Intel Iris Xe GPU. Thunderbolt 4.

2023.06.05 08:14 iceward New Build: PSU, Mobo, CPU, Ram
Link to parts list. Got all new components for a new build. Assembled them about a week ago. Sat. and Sun. I was only missing one case fan, so got everything situated and looking prettier for cables (at least for me). Hooked it up to monitor, power, etc. Flipped the PSU switch, pressed the case power button, and nothing. Well nearly nothing. The GPU little red led near the power PCIE connector was on, and the motherboard has an rgb light on the back side of it that was scrolling through the rainbow. Other than those, nothing happened. The monitor didn't even wake from sleep. No beeps from the motherboard or red blinking error-code light.
So I started troubleshooting.Turned off the power unplugged. Checked all connections at the PSU end And on the motherboard. Reconnected power same result. Turned off power and unplugged again this time I removed the GPU and disconnected its power, disconnected everything from the motherboard except the front panel power switch, CPU power, and motherboard power. I plugged my monitor into the motherboard. Plugged the PSU back in, turned on, and nothing really changed. The only difference at this point was that the case fans and CPU fans pulsed for an instant. They didn't even actually turn, more like the power flowed for an instant making them jerk very slightly.
I did some reading on Google, and looking around. So I took off my air cooler, cleaned the thermal paste off the cooler and the CPU. Re-seated the CPU, and took out one stick of ram. Applied new thermal paste and reinstalled the air cooler. I plugged it back in turned it back on and the exact same thing happened again when I press the power button, rainbow motherboard lights and almost nonexistent fan movement. I turned it off and unplugged it, swapped the stick of ram, plugged it back in turned it on, and got the same thing. Turned off, unplugged. Then I disconnected all the case fans, CPU fans, and the power switch front panel connector(shorted the pins to try turning it on after this). Plugged in turned on, and still same result, rainbow lights from the motherboard and slight jerk of movement from the fans. Whenever the GPU has been hooked up when I try to turn it on, it does turn that red LED on.
I don't have access to any alternates for CPU, motherboard, PSU, ram.
I would appreciate any suggestions or help Narrowing down the issue to at least know what part maybe damaged or defective. Or, find out what the heck I did wrong! Thank you to anybody that offers a suggestion or any kind of help. If I do find out that something needs to be returned, I don't have any experience with this in terms of replacements for computer components.
