So, how will it work? We are going to be using Threads in previously discussed albums channel! (this channel won't otherwise be used during the event) This is your chance to get in on the conversations you may have missed prior to your arrival, we've done a boat load of albums now!
Creating them is rather simple, we will enable the permissions for all members, but, of course, only officially reviewed albums are eligible and only one thread per album is needed, so make sure you look!
Members will need to type the Album Name - Artist Name in the previously discussed albums channel, right click or press and hold (depending on the platform), select the create thread option, it will automatically create the thread with a link back to previously discussed albums but you'll need to type the Album Name - Artist Name again for the title of the thread.
If this sounds complicated, it really isn't once you've done it once, and staff will be available to help guide you thru it if you need help and I will make an example at the start of the event.

So I’m thinking about taking the MSF course again, I took it a couple years ago but I dropped the bike on the last exercise of the last day and the instructors kicked me out cause they only gave one chance to drop the bike. Which seems kind of unfair to me to ask of new riders but I didn’t complain. Since then ive been riding on my own but I’m far from a pro, should I take the level 1 or the level 2? I’m asking because the level 1 is more expensive and I’d rather not sit through or pay for it if I don’t have to.

Thinking back I don’t think I have ever really liked someone it always felt like I forced something that wasn’t there I don’t think I liked them more the idea of having someone yet I never showed the signs of liking someone or almost never talk to one day I would just say I like someone then after a while I would tell someone or just tell them from impulse and I always would know there answers but I would still force myself to tell them or someone so they can I have asked 3 people to be my girlfriend in the worst ways the first one I told my female friends and at lunch that sat with her and I keep worrying they would say something at the same time giving it up to the guy I was sitting with and one of them like the same girl and he told her when we was leaving lunch I left and cried in the bathroom then after a year I asked her so that a friend would ask someone else they did get together just not me the second time I told a friend and he keep giving hints so she probably suspected case once he asked if she would date me and she said maybe if he talked to me more I still did not talk to her and I told him to ask her at the end of the day when we left she said I will think about it I knew what that meant and I was talking to my friend about it and he got up and asked her I was dying she said no that was the last thing I wanted to hear the last time the most recent I had two friends that I met in class they where funny a guy and a girl close to the end of the second semester I told myself I like her but we had three classes together 1st 2nd and 4th block classes yes we only talked in one second blocks with the other friend I even had her discord that’s where I told her I liked her over discord message never called she said no and I didn’t want to give give up so I tried to say the right thing to get her to like me but one day she asked me to stop I didn’t she asked again so I did I didn’t realize I was in the wrong until too late and she hated when I would send animated gifs she even said if I kept using the she would not respond so I stopped and I was in there discord server bit left after a prank gone wrong I left and ask three of us had different classes so that friendship ended I tried to keep in touch but she blocked me on Instagram and stopped responding on discord to I did think I lived at least 2 more but I knew that it would not work out and never said anything so to end this off I don’t think I really liked any of them but more of the idea of having some like that and I know the chance of a quite and shorter guy I probably won’t find anyone so that was the tried and last time I will ever ask a girl out even if I think at the time I like her unless the gives clear signals multiple time and even then I would still expect her to always say no to me.

Spoiler warning to anyone who hasn't read the first book.
Been thinking about this recently: you know how in the first book John gives us exposition about how Lorien's civilization level 25,000 years ago was like how Earth is today? They were pretty much dealing with all of our problems (pollution, climate change, overpopulation, probably focused more on profit than planet and people, etc.). But then everyone came together and decided they were going to eliminate war and pollution in order to create a sustainable utopia?
What happened there?
I am Number Four described this as a generational process, with Legacies evolving into the descendants of this pre-Garde Loric civilization. They mention how the Elders were the first Garde. But then you read Last Days of Lorien (Sandor's lost files novella) and he says that the Phoenix Stones were "discovered" and rendered Lorien the tiny, peaceful utopia that it was before the Mogadorians wiped them out after 25,000 years of being eco-friendly and positive. While Sandor states that this sounds more like mythology than anything else, it later becomes "canon" as it appears that Lorien, the source of the Legacies, whatever it is, grants powers to certain people almost instantly.
My only problem with this is that John's description sounds a lot more believable and understandable. There are a lot of variables that might have influenced why Earth Garde appeared so suddenly (a defense mechanism against the Mogadorians, lazy writing, etc.), so it just feels weird to think that tens of thousands of years ago, some ancient entity was activated by a bunch of radical hippies leading to the rise of shapeshifting animals and people with extraordinary abilities almost overnight.
What do you think actually happened? Do you think that maybe Lorien took a lot longer for Legacies and Chimærae to develop; maybe Legacies arrived quickly, but Chimærae took a while to evolve as Lorien's climate changed? Also, what came first: the development of Legacies and the awakening of Lorien, or the shift from self-destructive ignorance to environmental altruism?
Because one road implies that there was a really cooperative effort of a whole advanced civilization to correct its mistakes; but the other implies that some ancient collective consciousness was summoned and rapidly augmented large swathes of the native population over a few years, leading to inevitable war, takeover, and the founding of the Ten Elders. There's always the chance that the original Elders just rewrote the story like they did when they changed it from Ten Elders to Nine.
Last thing to end this longer-than-needed essay for the night, how do any of the Inheritances and Chests tie into this? We could amount it all up to mystical alien magic, but the way some of the Loric artifacts work seem to be the result either of technology that integrates the qualities and capabilities of certain Legacies, or raw abilities and Legacies that have been made incarnate into weapons and tools that can be regularly used?
I thought about this because I'm trying to get my fanfic started back up, and one of the main characters has a Legacy that is essentially a full-body version of a specific item from John's Inheritance. I got to thinking, if Lorien is so old that their technology is at least 25,000 years more advanced than ours is today, is it possible that technology preceded the development of Legacies? But then, the entity. 25,000 years is a long time, and we've got people trying to patent DNA here on Earth. Who's to say that the Elders didn't augment to Loric energy somehow that it now grants inhabitants of planets connected to the entity abilities that can't be found anywhere else unless activated by very advanced and incomprehensible, and forms of technology we can't even recognize: The Phoenix Stones?
Sorry again for the long message. AI's been on my mind recently; it'd be crazy if somehow the entity was a massive biomechanical AI system that grants psionic (or bionic) capabilities to its hosts, the Garde. Feel free to call me crazy or too obsessed with this series' dropped plot lines after 10 years.

If I dont know, im going to die. I dont have that chance, I understand why you want to let them die on a happy note, but that to me is more of a tragic note. I dont wanna not know that im about to never see anything, or hear anything, or think, or feel, or do anything ever again. I want to know what's about to happen, and I want the chance to cry about it, to feel about it, and maybe even accept it.

I'm one of the students po na nag pass sa caepup. However, hindi ko po alam kung magiging masaya ako roon since yung prio & dream ko na course is wala. Ito na yung last school ko actually. Hindi rin naman namin kaya magbayad ng private uni's (because of high cost) kaya kinoconsider ko rin ang pup. Saka altough marami ako naririnig about sa uni na toh isa pa rin siya sa top performing schools kaya hirap pa rin iletgo nung opportunity.
✨So ayonnn. As stated po sa title okay lng po kaya mag gap year ako & then apply sa state uni's next a. y? Such as plm, cavsu, & bulsu po since bsn sana kukunin ko. (Rejected me sa bulsu nung nakaraan kaya tatry ko sna rin ulit)
✨Or itry ko pa rin po mag-aral sa pup then see if magugustuhan ko ang napili kong course. For insights po yubg mga napili kong course doon is BS Archi, Comp Eng, Nutrition and Dietetics, Hospitality Management, and BA in Journalism. Nakakatakot lng po talaga yung sa ubusan din ng slots if ever. (Kung di ko po makaya o magustuhan plan ko na lng po sana lumipat ng state u kaso may advantage po kaya yon? Or mas may advantage if still freshmen pa rin ako?)
Fast learner naman po ako & consistent academic achievement kaya medj I feel confident na baka I can passed na yung state u's next year (kaso syempre yung possibilities pa rin of failing) And okay naman po ako kung sakali sa pup as a school. Especially na mababa lng tuition fee & sana makakuha ng scholarship if ever. Di ko lng talaga dream yung course (since kasama sa long run plan ko rin po ang med) though I can choose practicality pa rin naman in worst case basta makapagtapos pa rin kahit papaano.

"Primo Victoria!"
We sang as we traveled deeper and deeper in the cave system we found ourselves in. We were stuck here due to a temporal anomaly because the overseers wanted to know what really was inside the temporal anomalies. We were an expeditionary force and got stuck outside of consensus reality. We really don't know where the hell are we but we are passing the time by singing along with songs from different other bands from all over earth. We had a USB stick filled with 16gbs worth of songs. Our tech guys had a USB stick laying around and got an idea to sing while we find ourselves a way out of this cave system.
"Captain, lieutenant. We are seeing the light outside the tunnel. We are probably going to either die, see some horrifying shit, or in some desert in the middle of nowhere outside of consensus reality by the prediction of one of the researchers with us."
Said one of our comrades through the radio.
We stood silent as we could see the outside world from the windows, and the holes in the transport trucks. We stepped out for a few seconds to see the world around us and smell the fresh air. After a few seconds we stood speechless as we saw the outside world. It was night time but the sky was more clearer, and the surrounding was beautiful. I was shocked at how pure the air was.
It was like earth but the air was more cleaner. In the distance we saw some sort of village burning down. We immediately got back to the BTR-80's and transport trucks. We saw what was happening from our H.U.D's inside the helmet. It gives us notices to what's happening around us, and we just saw a lot of things heading our way quickly closing in using the integrated radar inside the helmet. Funnily enough a fact that the researchers found out while waiting of the others taking a piss told us that anything considered to be a power source, and fuel can be self replicating if in contact with the temporal anomalies. Meaning we don't have to worry about fuel or the batteries, or fuel going out. We just had to worry about damages. So one of our men. A flame thrower expert with our detachment came out, and fired off his flame thrower, and burnt some sons of bitches to the ground. More, and more of those things kept coming, and coming. It was like an unrelenting horde of zombies flocking to a person like we saw in a movie in movies nights. We started firing our guns trying our best to stall for the other soldiers with flame throwers to equip said flame throwers.
More gunshots are herd in background as our comrades desperately tries to survive this seemingly unending horde of abominations. Some even succumbing to the horde. We slowed some abominations by hitting the knees and body, while some were either killed by a shot through the head, and some are screaming due to the excessive flames created from the flamethrower. We fired everything we got at the horde after a half an hour fight we eventually wiped the horde out, and burned them into cinders.
"Head check! People go check our casualties, and go heal the injured!"
I said with a demanding tone.
Everyone stepped out of the vehicles. They saw a burning wasteland created by the fires, and cinders of the horde that attacked us. It was like hell on earth.
"We really created a wild fire huh?"
Said the captain.
"Well it's either we die and possibly get sick from one of the infections inside those abominations, or burn them to cinders."
I said to the captain.
He sighed and looked at me with a painful look.
"Sooner or later that wild fire will probably kill us. So put it out lieutenant."
Said the captain as he walked away to one of the transports carrying the injured.
"Well time to put out the fire."
I said as I called in men who were asleep while the attack was happening. Well technically they are allowed to do that. They did basically pack everything we needed. But still it's frowned upon to sleep in the job. Specially in this kind of situation. You just need 6 or 7 hours to sleep at best.
We do have a motto after all. We die in the darkness so you could live in the safety, and blissfully ignorant of the horrors of darkness in the light. Humanity has learned a new threat. A threat to it's existence. The temporal anomalies. These thinks are better to be kept in the dark than let the world know about the true horrors of what reality was. Humans create lies that they themselves made to make themselves feel better. If they even knew about this they would freak out, and probably demoralized about what reality was. More cults would worship these anomalies thinking they were divine revelations, or even a sign that their god is real. The only "real" thing we can agree on is that you death is inevitable even if you worship these things. They don't give mercy nor care about you. They only want to dish out suffering, and damage as they can possibly do. Trust me we already delt with something like that. Multiple cults in Russia kept popping up that worship the temporal anomalies. And it didn't do so well. It cause the deaths of thousands, and caused a nuke to go off due to said worshiping of temporal anomalies.
Well anyway's. We searched for the fire extinguishers in a few of the transport truck after a few minutes we found them. My fifteen men fire fighters/soldiers walked through the fiery inferno we ourselves created.
After an hour we put out the fire. We immediately did a jog, and got back to the transports.
Yawn
I let the men rest as I walked to the captain as I struggle to keep myself awake.
"Yawn So how many died?"
I asked the captain.
"6 people. Some are still recovering from the sudden attack. About 10 were mildly injured while some suffered scratches, and bruises. They are currently in the transport trucks/Temporary medical ward."
"Thankfully we stocked up on the medicine."
Said the captain.
"So we're do were burry them?"
I asked the captain.
"Well somewhere. I don't know. Maybe this field?"
He said.
"Knowing what to expect e.i the quick decay it will probably be the best to put them in body bags, and put them in holes."
"So can I ask you a favor captain?"
I asked him nicely.
"Well what kind of favor?"
"Can I bring some of the men to scout out the area, and check that burning village in the distance?"
"Sure. Just be careful. We don't want to lose people again. Those soldiers that died today were just new recruit's. They barely know how to combat the threats. I wonder what to say to the families that those men cared, and loved."
He said while watching the men he cared about. He knew that this were his new family, his new home, and a new start. We only had each other now. We must take care of each other for the least casualties to happen, and for our men to survive, and go back to their homes, and their families who are worried sick about them.
Firstly we buried those who died to day and did a little send off ceremony. We first dug the graves and readied rocks to be used as markers for the dead, after that vigil, next we did bury the men, lastly we fired a few rounds to the sky, and immediately ran. We knew that if we stood there there was a chance we may get hit by the bullets that we fired. After all what comes up must come down.
We hurried to the transport vehicles and rested for a few hours while some stayed up to guard our comrades, and our fellow countrymen.

PvP is in desperate mode of new game modes. I think we all know it.
Fortress was supposed to be Bungie's "King of The Hill", but instead it just ended up being 4 minutes of normal Control, followed by 20 seconds of "Counter the Ward of Dawn", followed by another 4 minutes of normal Control.
But Khepri's felt like a true version of King of The Hill, due to the fact that once a zone was exploited for points, ANY TEAM could re-capture it to regain those points once again.
And in fact, the inconsistent nature almost added an exhilarating randomness, because you never know which zone is going to become the hotbed for points.
In my short time playing the exploit, here's some experiences I had:

• Both teams tried to exploit their spawn zones (A and C), neither worked. We both made a unified push to fight over B, it was a hard fought battle, but eventually the enemy secured it. They managed to pull off the exploit on it, so the score went up 20 to 80. But then, in their eagerness to close the match, they triggered a hunt by capturing our spawn as well. We all collectively survived to not trigger the mercy, then snuck behind them and re-capped Zone B (the glitched zone) once the hunt was over, while ignoring A and C. This made it so WE got the point exploit, making it 100 to 85, and we got our supers from this capture, and proceeded to win the match. An amazing comeback to win the game by cleverly knowing which zone was important.
  
• We managed to exploit our spawn zone, so after about 40 more seconds of play, we triggered the mercy in OUR favor. However, just as the timer switched to 10 seconds remaining, the enemy team managed to exploit Zone B and glitch some points for themselves. In the 8 seconds remaining, THEY suddenly gained the lead, despite the mercy being triggered in OUR favor, and the final score ended 109 to 101 (despite it being 40 to 101 not moments prior). This last second lucky glitch officially crowned them as the winner, despite our team being the one to trigger the mercy.
  
• Many other various examples of multiple zones getting glitched at once, so the scores quickly jump deficients from 0 to 40, to 60-40, to 60-100, to 120-110, as each team tries to track which zones have been broken to give extra points and which areas to prioritize, along with supers activating to aggressively cap these zones (instead of passive defense like Wards, it's aggressive offense). The goal is no longer about camping and holding zones. It's about capturing them.
  

In short, through this exploit, Iron Banner turned into a new exhilarating game mode. A randomized, rotating, team-driven effort to supercharge any neutralized or enemy-controlled zone into a King Of The Hill objective.
You have to work with your teammates to coordinate a push towards the zone, and then hold it long enough for you to safely execute the barricade and capture. And sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. But if it did, you suddenly had to shift from offense to defense, as now the enemy would be trying to capture the zone you just supercharged in order to get points. But they could also be trying to exploit other zones and take a chance at catching up there as well. Do they take their chances trying to exploit their spawn while we rack up points? Or do you push for the one zone that's already been successfully broken, knowing you'll get a big bounty if you succeed and capture it?
And since the points awarded are dependent on how many people are on the zone, it's not enough to just luckily flank and back-cap a zone as a lone wolf. You have to try and push with your team, because you only get to capture it once. If you waste that point dump, then it might not be enough to secure your lead.
It felt dynamic, it felt fast-paced, it felt randomized with coordination and defense while defending our titans, pushing with our Hunters, and remembering which zones are important while keeping the enemies away from the ones we've already glitched, and stopping them from glitching more (even if they manage to set themselves up on a zone, if you manage to pick someone off before they capture it, that's less overall points they gain from the capture).
Especially when The Hunt would reset the zones for everyone, so it was a rush to recapture them all over again!
There's a million things that would need to be fixed before this could even remotely become a playable new game mode. Obviously the insta-mercies from spawn, for one. Maybe a new charge mechanic while standing in the zone with multiple teammates to "supercharge" it. But the concept is there. Take it. Run with it. I beg of you. This dynamic King Of The Hill-style mode where you have to work with your team to choose which zone to supercharge (and defend the area while you do!), and then keep track of it through the match, was extremely fun.
I hope Bungie learns something from this. It could genuinely be really fun.

So myself (40ish f) and my child (sub 10 Yr old ) have been visiting a local atlrtist for approx 1 year in their studio
Studio is located in a local park and accessible to the public
We first visited approx 1 year ago.
The artist was lovely. Talked to my child about art, creativity etc. Gifted my child a book and other gifts. We visited on an ad hoc.basis never more than once every 3 weeks for more than 5 mins
Recently artist seemed to be short and annoyed Second to last time child approached artist while artist was painting picture outside. Artist had headphones in and I advised child to stop short and say hi. Artist turned and looked up to a window smiling. (Obviously no one there) child said hi again and artist screamed and jumped
I said I told child to stay back as I didn't wqht them to scare u are u ok They said oh I got a fright I repeated nervously what I said and showed child painting Artist said I don't want to be frightened and I have 10 plus children coming to say hi every day, I need to get back to my work I guided child away Artist had previously told child they were special and comment about multiple children made child ask if they were not special
I was annoyed but thought ok we disturbed artist
3 weeks later we are in that part of park I had dissuaded child earlier but they ran ahead on way out as they wanted to see favourite artist
I got near the door of shop/studio and artist appeared with child in tow. Less than a minute since child entered shop
Artist said ah here lads. They keeps turning up and scared me before come on like I said I told them to stand back and u were ok till u saw them Artist said and you laughed when I was scared. I said no u smiled and so did I as I was nervous Artist said well And I took child and said they don't want us here any more Artist said ah now but I directed child away
Child is devastated Wants to know why artist doesn't think they are good any more I haven't a clue. We would maybe turn up for sub 5 mins every 3 or 4 weeks Totally mental

I said as I checked if I still had some left over MRE's.
"Damnit! I knew we shouldn't have entered that anomaly!"
Said one of my comrades by the name of Ivan Pavlov. Some were already screaming for their babushka's like children when something isn't going their way. Although we had trained with mental fortitude we were in a quite a rough situation. We had no idea where we are or how can we get back to the motherland. Some were already panicking while some are getting counselling from the onsite phycologists.
"Don't worry comrades! We will find our way back! From this unknown reality we now live in! I know, I know. Some of you want to go back home immediately. But... ask yourselves this! We don't know how to come back but what if can find another way back! Back to the motherland! Maybe we can find something with great importance here and bring it back to the motherland. We will be treated as heroes, visionaries, and adventurers! If we ever go back to the homeland. Now get yourselves shit together and let's find a way to escape from this reality we found ourselves in!"

Some of my comrades stopped their screeching/screaming and started cheering. Some were stunned at how the captain was acting in this time. Honestly he was better than me with leading. He was like a charismatic leader that won the hearts of his soldiers while I the lieutenant just sat there doing the paperwork, doing logistics, making tactics, etc. Sure I am the lieutenant I shouldn't be doing that kind of stuff but we still need to plan logistics just encase of a fight to get reinforcements or supplies to the frontlines. He was more charismatic than me, and I let him do the speeches to boost morale. At least I'm not stuck giving endless speeches. I was the man that everyone counted on for tactics. I was one of the six tacticians in the detachment.
We checked the BTR 80's and a few transport trucks we brought with us and saw we had MRE's and water to last us over 50 days and ammo to last us over 70 days if we use it right. Suspiciously the BTR's fuel tanks were full. Huh? We drove over 6 kilometers with this thing and yet it's fuel tanks are full? Well lucky us I guess.
You must be asking yourselves how did we got into this mess in the first place?
Well that is what I'm going to tell you.
We are a part of a division of the G.R.U called the anomaly department. We study, and eliminate hostile or very dangerous temporal anomalies. We also develop teleportation technology but the tech is basically a barely functioning prototype that uses up so many energy that we typically need to drain 4 nuclear reactors or more to fire one up and teleport 500 people, 60 vehicles, etc they are so costly to use that we rarely use them, and need specialized equipment to use said prototype. These temporal anomalies are typically made from what's known as the god particles. They are basically particles that can bend reality itself or what the extremely dummies call magicules or magical particles because they seem magical to their eyes. We typically use those particles to create holes through space and time. We discovered our first anomaly back in the times when the USSR was still in its glory. In 1974. These anomalies typically bring with them destructive beings with them so we clean them up by killing them by either small arms fire, usage of military vehicles, missiles or even if it comes to it nukes, and burning their corpses. if we don't they usually turn into undead creatures that is very very hard to kill unless you have a tank, a flame thrower, or if you have liquid hydrogen to freeze these things up just to punch them and crumble into ice.
The first ones happened in Sarov or arzamas-16 one of the hidden cities in the USSR created by the KGB. The creatures that appeared on the first temporal anomaly were hulking abominations of green creatures filled with unknown viruses and diseases. We defeated them and later got an outbreak of one of the diseases, and later found a cure to the disease. Thus our predecessors the komitet vremennykh anomaliy or the committee of temporal anomalies created by the secretary general of the committee of state security with funding from the state to combat these threats. One day our unlucky asses got dragged into this assignment to investigate a temporal anomalies, and be one of the first to enter the temporal anomalies. We were greenlighted to do this mission due to our new naive, and unknowing overseers or as we call them the overseer council because they are a council of a few people dictating the fate of the motherland. i've got this topic stuck in my head. Can i ask how do you want the chaos daurdin to be in the setting? do you want them to be more developed dawi zharr? or new thing in which chaos duardin that is not dedicated to one god rather any? Second can i ask do you want to be damned or not? In which i mean as soon as their born theres no chance for them to not be chaos followers.
This always confused me about the dawi zharr are they damned as a race or choose damnation? they all share similar mutations etc, like are babies born in dawi zharr society already doomed? please anyone if got in answer this please share.
On their motives what do you want them to be? Honestly if they are doing dawi zharr style they should be very justified in their reasoning. The gods abandon them a second time and i feel like they should use this a stick to constantly beat over. Grungi has abandoned them twice, first in fantasy with which i feel was justified all the gods tried to do help, while here he was lol no. I know it will never happen but would be amazing to see Grungi talk to to a chaos duardin and said duardin explain rationally why its all his fault, and they want vengence etc, not a mad, raving, chaos normal chaos follower. But i do hope duardin and chaos duardin absolutely hate each other and actively try to wipe each other out including kharadron overlords. I hated how in fantasy they hate each other more than anything else yet they never actually try and wipe each other out.
Lastly how do you want their relationship with the rest of chaos gods, forces and more importantly archaon to be? Ill be honest i dislike the lore in fantasy that most chaos armour came from them its too much of monopoly, it makes the rest of chaos feel too stupid. I am kinda an archaon fanboy so i am hoping even the chaos duardin kinda are intimidated by him, he the only human they respect a dark parody of the how sigmar created the alliance between dawi and humans.
Edit: It would be cool for chaos duardin main leader to be a woman duardin we are kinda lacking in them.
