Where I see this heading Is Ran finding out about Conan/Shinichi near the end of the series. If Gosho is planning to do that then that might be the worst possible ending for DC. Like others said before, when i first started watching DC 14 years ago I was waiting for Ran to catch Conan lacking and find out the truth. Literally every episode I watched I thought could be the episode of the big reveal, especially the episodes where BO appeared. Everytime Conan was about to get caught by Ran something happens so I slowly realized that the reveal was never going to happen. Especially when Kaito Kid saved Conan and came to Ran as Shinichi, tbh after that i was like there is no way for her to ever think Conan is Shinichi. 14 years later and I became more certain after the MANY times Kaito Kid disguised himself as Shinichi and met Ran while conan was there. It’s sad tbh the series does not feel the same as it used to. The only way the series could be saved Is If DC continues for 10-15 more years and Ran finds out in the next year or so. Then It would do justice for Ran and we get more time with the couple and they actually work together fighting the BO. Instead of having Conan and Ai getting the most screen time and people actually rooting for them becoming a couple, I’m even one of those rn. The way it Is now is Ran could be killed off (for protecting Conan) and Shinichi continues the fight against BO heartbroken for her loss with Ai by his side. They win the war and get back to their normal body’s and end up becoming the new couple, having a daughter naming her Ran as a tribute for Shinichi’s old love and for her protection of Ai for example against Vermouth. Ran’s death and Ai getting with Conan/Shinichi Is better than her finding out about Conan/Shinichi 50 episodes before the series ends. It would be a shame If that Is done, I dont want to see her “catch up” with Shinichi’s reality in the last 50 episodes, it just doesn’t give her character justice. A girl who’s loyal at the age of 17 with plenty of guys around, Never even thought about giving up on Shinichi, thinks about him all the time, never has a full convo with him without him “having to go” or suddenly disappearing. And she gets to “find out” about the whole situation in the end of the series? Definitely not!

Ever had this when. You'd like do something. And like you hear a thing. Now. Alright. I've heard "things" such as random voices or whatnot before but it isn't really (wasn't much backthen but they still where there) frequent nowadays. I've been taking medication and they've reduced them. But i stopped taking them for a few months because they've started making me really sick. And i've been fine no more sick feelings and stuffs.
But since the begining of April i think even before that Can't recall. I've been hearing shit again i think. Like i hear something from the past. Me when i was 5 telling me that im doing something certain that's wrong And its always "Neat you're doing this again!" Or when i'd do something i'd do alot when younger like play video games or look at certain fanart for a series i enjoyed when younger. I just feel that. I feel it in the air like me. Me from the past is a sprit preying on me now. It doesn't feel like a hallucination cause i don't see or well it doesn't feel like one. Its like i had my thoughts possessed by a whole another being its really hard to explain this. But y'know when i hear "my" even though they're not really my thoughts i feel thoughts its her talking loudly. My own thoughts are sometimes loud like when im overwhelmed or i really have to try and remember something. But i think i said like Sometimes i don't think in my own voice but like i feel those thoughts aren't even mine and they're just there for whatever reason. I assumed they where like just a test of operation for my brain But they feel like just a ghost is possessing me. Possessing my thoughts and just want to spread some type of shit and make them loud.
Am i crazy?

For context, it'll be my first 100M, and my first over 50M, and my first non-loop ultra outside of training runs.
Q1: It's got free camping, and I'm tempted on the basis that it's at the start line, and I'm probably not going to sleep well anyway, so why not. But do lots of people camp? Are there any reasons not to beyond it being a bit less comfortable than a hotel? I guess I camp about once a year, so not a seasoned camper, but I know how to put up a tent. Should I expect my legs to be ruined by sleeping on a travel mat the night before, for instance?
Q2: The aid stations have tailwind and lots of other food / gels / etc., according to the website. Can I take food from the aid stations to carry. For instance, can I grab 4 gels and put them in my bag, or is that a no-no / impossible / impolite? I wouldn't do it if it was technically possible but poor form.
Q3: I haven't done nearly enough hill work for this sort of race. I'm tempted to take walking poles (I don't have running poles) to compensate a bit for that. Is that a good idea? At the moment I'm thinking of leaving them at the 56 mile point and seeing if I think I need them there, but if anyone has experience of taking them and regretting or not taking an regretting, let me know. Leaving at 56M as an option seems quite safe, though.

TLDR: Please help me create a schedule for my new job as a transition from a spontaneous to a structured work environment.
I just accepted a promotion from my company and now I’ll be moving cities to work a hybrid position (2 days in office and 3 days at home).
I have never worked in a office before or from home. I’ve come from babysitting the last 10 or so years. My company of the last 2.5 years recognized my hard work and offered me this position as a caregiver support specialist.
I will be onboarding new babysitters, training, and supporting them through booking difficulties, providing assistance to new hires, and helping current caregivers. This includes completing tasks, such as responding to emails and messages, giving support to the back end of their booking app, and submitting payroll. I will have other administrative tasks as well.
I’m extremely excited about this new opportunity, however, I have no idea where to start with making a schedule. Currently, I’m in the process of still moving as they have given me 8 weeks to get to my new city. Fortunately, I only live a 3 hour drive from where I need to be, so I can take moving slow as long as I find a place to stay in the meantime.
My main issue right now is figuring out how to make a new schedule. Up until now I have always worked at the convenience of the parents. That meant that I would get booked last minute or babysit on an emergency basis. My schedule was always open and I was always available. I basically worked on call. It won’t be like that anymore and I have no idea how to live life on the schedule, unfortunately.
I had many day to day and week to week tasks that I completed as I gained time to finish them. Things like working out, grocery shopping, and cleaning. I’ve heard of time blocking, but I’m not so sure that will work for me as I am so used to being on a spontaneous schedule. It will take time to get into a time block schedule. I think that somewhere down the road that’s where I want to be eventually, but how do I get there without overwhelming myself?
If anybody has any examples of what their schedule looks like, or any good resources for transitioning from a field work job to a desk job, please share them. I have to start this new job in about two weeks so I am a bit nervous because I want to hopefully get this done before my first day.
Some extra notes: I have ADHD and am unmedicated at the moment. I am used to a nap/quiet time in the middle of the day to reset (usually somewhere between 12-2). I try to work out three times a week (M/W/F) early in the morning. In office days will be Monday and Wednesday.

My girlfriend has expressed interest in playing so it's mostly going to be for her. I want something she can learn to play with, but also something I can take to tournaments when she doesn't want to play (low skill floor, high skill ceiling).
I am looking for something that would be decent in TCG AND OCG. It would be a nice bonus if I could build it on master duel, too.
I have extra copies of a bunch of staples and cards are pretty cheap where I live, so cost isn't too much of a constraint.

I've recently lost 40kg, from 105kg to 65kg, now at a BMI of 21, bodyfat of 16.5%, lean body mass of 56.4kg. Male. 32 y/o. 5ft 7.
I primarily lost this through diet (reduction from circa 4000kcal/day to 1500-2000/kcal/day) and willpower after years of abusing food and sugary drinks. The only real excercise i have done comes in the form of doing more physical activities like walking more, becuase im not carrying around 40kg extra.
About 25kg into my weightloss i realised my butt was falling asleep a lot and i'd need to keep moving around, then around 30/35kg it got painful, and going from sitting to standing was excruciating, like my lower back/ass bones are being bent out of position/unfolding. I dont slouch constantly whilst sat, but driving etc naturally you sit in a 100 or so degree angle, not directly 90 degrees, however sitting in my office chair, either hunched forward, at 90 degrees, or leaning back, all hurt pretty similarly when getting up.

As mentioned above, its not a numbing sat down for too long pain, need to shift my weight pain, its a physical feels like my bones are bending in my upper ass/lower back area.

I primarily lost this through diet (reduction from circa 4000kcal/day to 1500-2000/kcal/day) and willpower after years of abusing food and sugary drinks. The only real excercise i have done comes in the form of doing more physical activities like walking more, becuase im not carrying around 40kg extra.
About 25kg into my weightloss i realised my butt was falling asleep a lot and i'd need to keep moving around, then around 30/35kg it got painful, and going from sitting to standing was excruciating, like my lower back/ass bones are being bent out of position/unfolding. I dont slouch constantly whilst sat, but driving etc naturally you sit in a 100 or so degree angle, not directly 90 degrees, however sitting in my office chair, either hunched forward, at 90 degrees, or leaning back, all hurt pretty similarly when getting up.

That most people believe that sexism is more common towards women than men, but not sooo much more common. Maybe 70/30 or 60/40. And that most people believe that sexism towards men is not just a thing as backlash because of sexism towards women
That most people believe that sexism is not about hating women, it was about men exerting physical strength to get roles of power through history. But that women were not seen as inferior nor lesser. That traditional roles were seen as different, but equal. So women raised families and had an important role doing that. While men worked. And women weren't seen to be catering to men, serving men, owned by men nor defined by their relationships to men. Because men were expected to marry and serve their wife by working too
That most don't believe that men objectify women while women don't objectify men. Nor that women respect and treat men better
That most don't believe that women are attracted to men in a more well rounded way than men are attracted to women nor that if you took sex away, men would prefer men in all other ways and see them as superior
That most don't believe that women in Muslim countries or women through history like men more than the men like women nor treat them better
That most think violence towards women is not about hating women but about power, control, testosterone, and women being easier targets due to being physically weaker. And that the same men who commit domestic violence would also be the types to start pub fights with other men, or to target kids.
That most people don't think that women hate each other, compete and get jealous while men have stronger bonds, friendships and camaraderie. They think that women mostly support each other too
That most people don't think that men who do female jobs/hobbies roles are held to lower standards and praised for the bare minimum, while women who do male jobs/roles are held to higher standards and have to prove themselves. Also that most think workplaces like the police may be a big boy's club but that there are also ones that are a girl's club. Also that most don't think that women are held to higher behavioural standards/expectations than men nor judged harsher, etc. Nor that female celebs and characters are trolled/threatened, bullied and hated more online than male ones are
That most people don't think that men prefer father figures, male role models and male idols and lead characters, while women can appreciate either gender in all of those things. Nor that women support and praise the men of LGBT more than the women of LGBT, gay men more than lesbians, etc. Nor that women support gay men much more than men support lesbians

2023.06.05 13:05 Marvelhawkeye483 I'm not sure if I was in the right to call out my friend about having double standards when it comes to games
To start, I have 2 male friends who also game. For the sake of privacy and do avoid confusion I will call them Billy and Scott. I also have a bunch of female friends who are gamers who are also a part of our small gaming group. Now in our gaming group we don't judge people on what they play, we might tease a little but it is never "you shouldn't be playing that because of xyz" as all of us are adults and can make our own choices. However over the past few months Scott has taken a very strong stance where he would not play or support developers with problematic or questionable content/practices(crunch during cyberpunk 2077 development, microtransactions in diablo immortal, a lot of issues with EA and so on), which is fine by us and it is great he is going to such extremes to show his support, until he started pushing his views to other people.
Now I get it, I really do and I also don't buy products from the publishers or developers I don't agree with either by their practices or who they affiliate with, but not everyone in our group are like that. Some just enjoy the games for the sake of the games and don't really care about what's happening in the background, which is also fair. Scott wasn't having any of this, so we as a group felt we can no longer discuss some games without triggering Scott so we stopped. That was until Scott decided to get diablo 4 right after there was another report of blizzard mistreating their staff members and we were discussing it for days.
Now don't get me wrong, I love diablo games and would play them to no end and in all the other circumstances I would have supported him, but in this case I could not stop myself and made a remark about him having double standards and essentially gatekeeping us from discussing a number of games over the past few months, while he goes and buys a game from "a problematic" by his own standards company and acts like it is not a big deal. I have also reminded him how he was swearing of not buying a single Blizzard product until the company fixes multiple issues it has, but here we are. Scott also got a lot of calling out about it from Billy, who is one of the biggest fans of the series in our group, saying that this entire situation is not a good look for Scott and he should either apologise for his behaviour earlier and if there's a game discussed that he is not fond of to either join the discussion in a healthy way, or not join the discussion at all instead of having all the shaningans of "you shouldn't be talking/playing it because of insert the problem with the game/developer here".
To be clear I'm not saying he shouldn't have bought the game since a few people in our group also got it and played the open beta. I just got annoyed with those double standards when according to Scott it is not ok for anyone to buy/play a game having a problematic background, but it is fine for you to buy/play a game if it is your favourite game which also has a problematic background behind it, especially since the entire philosophy of our group is talk about the games and discuss them and everything related to them without judgment.
So I'm wondering if I went too far with "calling Scott out" on the entire situation or not?

Scott wasn't having any of this, so we as a group felt we can no longer discuss some games without triggering Scott so we stopped. That was until Scott decided to get diablo 4 right after there was another report of blizzard mistreating their staff members and we were discussing it for days.
Now don't get me wrong, I love diablo games and would play them to no end and in all the other circumstances I would have supported him, but in this case I could not stop myself and made a remark about him having double standards and essentially gatekeeping us from discussing a number of games over the past few months, while he goes and buys a game from "a problematic" by his own standards company and acts like it is not a big deal. I have also reminded him how he was swearing of not buying a single Blizzard product until the company fixes multiple issues it has, but here we are. Scott also got a lot of calling out about it from Billy, who is one of the biggest fans of the series in our group, saying that this entire situation is not a good look for Scott and he should either apologise for his behaviour earlier and if there's a game discussed that he is not fond of to either join the discussion in a healthy way, or not join the discussion at all instead of having all the shaningans of "you shouldn't be talking/playing it because of insert the problem with the game/developer here".
To be clear I'm not saying he shouldn't have bought the game since a few people in our group also got it and played the open beta. I just got annoyed with those double standards when according to Scott it is not ok for anyone to buy/play a game having a problematic background, but it is fine for you to buy/play a game if it is your favourite game which also has a problematic background behind it, especially since the entire philosophy of our group is talk about the games and discuss them and everything related to them without judgment.
So I'm wondering if I went too far with "calling Scott out" on the entire situation or not?
