Does zone 2 training have to be lengthy? If I only have 30 mins to spare, is it still worth going for a workout where my heart rate would remain in zone 2 for around 25 mins (assuming it takes around 5 mins to get there), or should I not bother? Thanks

The API changes reddit plans to implement on the 1st of July are detrimental to users of 3rd party apps and for the moderators that use 3rd party tools to moderate. Many sub-reddits are going dark on the 12th - 14th June to protest this change. I know this is a small niche sub but I hope it joins the protest. Me and my partner currently live in a leasehold house with a long-term lease with around 910 years left on it. We currently pay £5pa ground rent, fixed value.
We have been musing over purchasing the freehold from the private company that owns it. A few of our neighbours have bought their freehold, with the latest one (according to Land Registry) buying it for £2150 in 2021. Based on that, I'm assuming all-in-all we would be looking at around £3-4k for the purchase (including legal fees etc.), though that might be a tad conservative. The company want £120 purely to provide a quote for the freehold..
I'm interested in buying the freehold for the house for the following reasons:

• Security of knowing we own the property and the land it sits on
• Future-proofing knowing that we won't have any extra charges in the future
• Increased house value if we move

My questions which I would really appreciate you giving your opinions towards please:

• Do you believe those points above justify the potential price?
• Are there any other positives/negatives that we should consider before proceeding?
• If we are going down the informal route of paying the £120 quote fee, subject to us being happy with the price provided, will we then need to instruct a solicitor or can this be done without one?

Just now, I was coming back from school (getting my 12th TC) in an auto. I was sitting in the middle of the seat. He just came and touched my inner thigh and then asked for money, I said I had no case, still held my thigh and asked for google pay, but the signal became green and he had to let go
Auto driver didn't react and just went. Like it happened a lot.
This made me very angry but I also feel like crying? Maybe I'm getting a bit emotional, but I don't think it should be so normal. If it was a regular guy I would have slapped him. A guy in school touched me inappropriately in the lab once, my mom called the principal. Now she just told me to book cab next time.

Anyone have this dilemma? Ricks whole thing with nothing matters due to infinite universes really resonates with me. Ever since we’re okay but from time to time he would just randomly ask me again if it’s true that really nothing happened because he can’t imagine a girl and a guy going to his place and not hooking up. For some reason he always thinks that I’m lying about my past because that’s what his intuition is telling him. Idk is it maybe because he cheated on his ex that he thinks that I will do it? I don’t see what I did wrong I have also removed every male friend I had and I have not seen on talked to them ever since we started dating. Yes I have had more relationships but I have never cheated as it is against my moral code. What else can I do for him to believe that he is truly the only person I care about?

Have you gotten daith piercings done at the same time?

I'm trying to change my controller settings, but they don't save. I look up the issue and I found that this might be caused by my Yuzu folder being set to read-only. I tried to un-set the folder, but it keeps reapplying read-only as soon as I disable it. Does anyone know what's going on?

hi I really like the idea of playing DD elementalist in SSF but finding the idea of targeting specific spectres a bit clunky, i know it doesn't need to be done for clearing but I was wondering if I can just keep a Vaal DD ready for bosses and not have to target the spectre specifically? just spam some corpses down and hit the vaal? and if I understand correctly I can just spam curse to keep it up after that, is this going to be not worth playing like this or will it be ok? cheers

Unfortunately, the details are going to be fairly vague. This was an anime film released possibly between the 80s and early 2000s. I remember seeing it between 2000-2006. I'm making a guess about the release date based on the style and what else I remember seeing on the same cable channel at the time, Vampire Hunter D and stuff like Dirty Pair and Bubblegum Crisis.
The plot, as I can remember it, centers around a man who is wanted by some sort of group, possibly law enforcement/government, or just a gang. I cannot remember what he did to become wanted. He is injured while escaping them, having his arm in a sling and possibly bandages around his ribs. He is found/saved by a woman who takes him in and keeps him safe.
Possible spoilers, but the climax of the movie is what I remember the most vividly. The decision is made that he will turn himself in. I remember there is an assurance that he will be taken without harm. Everybody meets in what I remember to be a desert. I remember a large group meeting the man and woman. The man is shot and killed by the people who had promised not to harm him.
I can't remember much besides that. The setting may have been some sort of post-apocalypse. It definitely wasn't fantasy, and probably wasn't really sci-fi. For all I know, this may have been an episode of a series, but I recall it being a movie. Hopefully this rings a bell for somebody

My (25F) mum passed away 18 months ago after being sick for a few years. My dad (55m) started dating Karen (42F) 6 months ago.
My parents were highschool sweethearts who had been together since they were 14 and they were 20 when I was born, I’m an only child. They tried to have more kids but it never happened so I was the most loved (spoilt) kid ever and my parents are my best friends.
Dad and Karen worked together for years and she was always around for help when mum was sick, after she passed away my dad leant on her for support and she was around alot. When my dad told me they had started seeing eachother I freaked out as it was so soon after mum & we got in a fight. Since then I’ve been happy for both of them even if I’m not 100% happy about it.
I recently moved out of home and forgot a few things so I called dad to see if he could bring them to me and Karen answered his phone, she said he was working but she would bring them and get to see my new house and I was happy with that.
When she got to my house she rang the doorbell (I have a ring doorbell so could see it was her) and I opened the door and gave her a hug, she said ‘oh honey this is so exciting and you know your mum is always so proud of you’ then I cried because I miss my mum so bad and wanted her to be there. I said ‘I know, and I’m sure she’s looking down smiling at me but I just wish she was here’ - this is where the problems start

I had an ominous feeling as I gazed out into the cornfield which was barely lit up the moonlight. I had an unnerving premonition that something deadly awaited us inside.
I was about to turn around and go home when I felt a hand grasp mine. I couldn't help but smile as I gazed down into the beautiful blue eyes of my new girlfriend Hannah. We had only been dating less than a month and I could already tell I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.
She started walking towards the cornfield and I knew I would look like a coward if I didn't find her. We had just passed the first row of stalks when my best friend Tony ran up and tapped Hannah on the arm and yelled "tag" before running off.
A mischievous smile crossed her face as she immediately tagged me and said "no tagbacks" before doing a little curtsy and hopping away.
I could hear my friends laughing in the distance as I began jogging forward to find one of them.
I stopped dead in my tracks as I walked into a clearing to find a scarecrow hanging there. A shiver ran down my spine as I gazed up at him as there was something unsettling about him.
I heard a noise behind me and turned around to see what it was but didn't spot anyone. I was about to leave the clearing when I noticed the scarecrow had turned his head and was now facing me. I walked forward on feet made of lead and tapped his body and was relieved to discover that he was stuffed full of straw.
I was almost bowled over as someone came sprinting out of the stalks and ran directly into me. I didn't even think about it and immediately tagged my mate Barry and I saw the disappointment on his face as I jogged off.
I had only gotten a few feet away when I heard a blood curdling scream behind me as I stood there frozen in terror. It took me a few minutes to gain the courage to walk back into the clearing.
Barry was nowhere in sight and the scarecrow was still hanging in place. I was about to walk off when I heard a dripping noise and I cautiously approached the scarecrow.
I had to place my hand over my mouth to stifle my scream as I discovered Barry's hanging corpse in place of the scarecrow. His eyeballs had been plucked out of his skull and replaced with straw. Blood was pouring from his body from dozens of wounds and slowly dripping onto the floor.
I began backing away until I collided with something soft. I turned around and was now face to face with the scarecrow. He kept turning his head to head as if studying me. I could see straw poking out from numerous places from his clothing.
Tony ran into the clearing and ran face first into the scarecrows back. He let out a grunt of annoyance and was about to run off when the scarecrows arm shot out and gripped him by the throat.
Tony was lifted off his feet and I could see the panic in his eyes as he tried to free himself. He opened his mouth to scream and I watched in terror as straw shot out from the scarecrows body and into Tony's mouth.
It was like a never-ending stream as it kept going until Tony's futile struggles finally stopped. Tony's body was unceremoniously dropped to the ground as the scarecrow turned his attention to me.
I darted to one side and barely evaded his grip as I disappeared amongst the rows of corn. I kept glancing to all sides in the hopes of finding the edge of the cornfield but all I kept finding was more corn. I kept spotting the scarecrow in the distance as he seemed to be hunting me.
I tripped over something and let out a sob as I pushed myself up to find the bodies of two of my friends. Their heads had been ripped open and corn had been forced down them. I let out an almost manic laugh as they reminded me of pez dispensers.
I urged myself to keep going with my one target of finding Hannah and getting us both out of here. I considered calling out her name but knew that would probably draw unwanted attention.
I was about to give up hope of finding her when I found her sobbing on the floor clutching the body of her best friend. Their arms had been ripped from their body and lay on the ground a few feet away.
I helped her to her feet and had to practically drag her along as she was almost comatose. I almost let out a howl of joy as I spotted the edge of the cornfield directly ahead.
I had just reached the last row when I lost my grip on Hannah. I spun around and was almost face to face with the scarecrow. He was holding onto Hannah in a vice like grip.
I waited for him to reach for me but he stood motionless. I looked down to discover that I was outside the cornfield and realised he couldn't leave it.
He began stroking Hannah's hair and I could tell he was trying to taunt me. Hannah seemed to finally wake up from wherever her mind had gone and began shrieking at the top of her lungs.
The scarecrow flinched away for a second before placing his hands on either side of her skull. My eyes widened as I saw the straw forcing its way into her ears. She went deathly silent as I watched the straw moving around inside her eyeballs.
A single tear ran down my cheek as the scarecrow pulled her mouth open and a stalk of corn began growing inside.
I turned and fled knowing that there was nothing left for me here. I returned the next day and I stood there immobile gazing at all of the scarecrows scattered across the field. I began pouring the petrol at the edges of the field whilst being careful not to step inside.
I was about to light the match when each and every scarecrow turned to face me. I threw the match onto the petrol and hoped that this would avenge my friends.

It’s making me nervous because I’ve had a loss before and my biggest indication something was wrong (fetus had a low heartbeat so I was paying super attention to my body) was that I wasn’t feeling sick anymore.
I know symptoms can come and go and that for some people they start to fade right around now. AND I still feel sick after I eat anyway (last night I nearly threw up my sushi) but them subsiding certainly makes me nervous given my past experience! I’ve been thankful I still have other symptoms and never been so thankful for like a migraine or random pains when I move in my life haha.
Feeling ‘normal’ is weird now lol
