Long time customer of doordash. I’m gonna try to make this short and simple to understand because many many many people seem to be complacent and have trouble comprehending the truth. Argue all you like but tipping is not required. Shocking but true. Now don’t get me wrong. If I’m ordering from somewhere wayyy far out from me I will tip at least 10 but everyday I lose more and more respect for drivers because so many are lazy, rude, incompetent, and just downright delusional. When you sign up for doordash you’re well aware of how little the company likes to pay their subordinates. You’re well aware that gas is expensive and some orders will take longer and be farther out than others. You’re well aware that customers don’t wanna tip a lot sometimes or just flat out cannot afford to. Yet even understanding all that, you can’t even make the sensible decision that maybe the smart thing to do would be to get mad at doordash itself and not the customers. I’m sick of hearing, “if the tip is low don’t expect me to rush”. Or “tip higher next time”. Or “go get your food yourself then”. Because the fact of the matter is, a tip is not required and it also does not determine the quality of service you should be providing to all customers. It’s YOUR JOB to be driving around, picking up the accepted orders and delivering them. Someone shouldn’t feel like they have to drain their pockets to tip you a large sum of money if they can’t afford to because the dashers are making them feel like bad people if they don’t.
Like I stated in my title doordash employees will do everything but take up the complaints about pay with the company themselves. Instead they berate the customers, give them poor service, harass them for tips, purposely ignore customer instructions, sit around in their cars and complain for 20 minutes before delivering orders, don’t answer phone calls, don’t answer texts, steal customers food, and are too lazy to get out of their cars to look for an apartment number to ensure the right people get their food.
When they could simply not work for doordash OR start taking some action and going after the grimy company for having the audacity to give them such low wage instead of sitting around and whining about it all the time. That’s something this country is really good at, sitting around and bi*ching about things constantly instead of actually trying to do something about it.
If you go to any other continent away from the USA. They all laugh at tipping culture because they think it’s ridiculous that the customers are being pressured into paying the employees rather than who those employees work for.
All in all everything I say here is true and there’s no denying it. It’s just factual, and anyone who gets mad reading this or disagrees. You’re who I’m talking about.

It’s a little loose on you” and it wouldn’t have bothered me that much if it wasn’t for the fact that I’m currently still recovering from an ED, which she knew about. Later in I went to the bathroom and over heard them talking about taking pictures of me and posting them in snap chat to make fun of me. I got scared so I started trying to talk to other people there to avoid being asked to take pictures, while I was talking to a group of girls a talk guy with curly hair and green eyes came up to me and started asking about me, apparently that guy was my cousins crush ( we weren’t flirting I don’t think he only complimented my dress and hair cut, I have a wolf cut and ge recognized it) well me talking to him mad her want to do the picture thing even more so she literally grabbed me by my bra straps and pulled me to her group, when I got there all the girls started harassing me about taking pictures and shoving phones in my face. I didn’t know what to do so I just stood there while they took pictures but when one of them went on the group and angled the phone where you would be able to see my under wear I pushed them off and told them to leave me alone. I assume my cousin told her parents because I got scolded by basically the hole family and I’m getting bombarded with calls and texts telling me to apologize, oh and about the talk guy after the hike picture thing he saw that I was stressed out so he gave me his phone number and we played game pigeon for the rest of the party, so AITA? Hello, English is not my first languages so apologies. I'm hoping for an outside perspective on an issue my husband and I have. So SIL and I met about 13 years ago in our early twenties and became friends. She played matchmaking with her brother and me. We all initially got along great. Over time many things changed. But she can't she is determined to stay close to her daughter, and by this the drama. Then the phone calls start to my phone and cell the ex starts to push. I asked her how did he get my number, probably her daughters phone. But I don't take that shit calls at my work place house and all that. I tell her to get him to stop and stay away from him. She didn't we are now in month 3. And the day drinking started again. All this time we don't talk about payment or anything she cooks cleans washes the clothes and changes the bed. We make love still about ten times a day I am addicted to her body hard. Her daughter doesn't want to leave her father alon. So the drama doesn't stop till I post a ultimatum stop or go. It's the end of the thirt month and she leaves. After that we didn't have contact for 12 months. Texting from her after that then started calling but my lust didn't subside. We never hooked up again and there has been silence for years now. I regret losing contact and now I worry and hope she is well after these idiotic years. My biggest regret losing her.

As for the accusation of lying about having others in the apartment, I am in France alone. I booked the Airbnb because I couldn’t stay in a hostel due to sniffling/sneezing/asthma, thanks to allergies which would have costed my hostel-mates sleep. I spoke on the phone with the host, and mentioned I was here seeing friends, but those friends are in another city. I don’t know if he assumed I was bringing or having them over.
I provided proof that I was traveling alone, as well as providing proof I went to see a doctor for my allergies to backup my rationale for booking. However, the review is already there. I did reply with a public response explaining the situation, and apologizing but I feel like the accusation of bringing in more guests would be enough to turn some hosts off immediately.
I have 9 other great reviews, though I am considering sticking with hostel private dorms and hotels from now on with all the hassle that comes with Airbnbs.

(Pause for 3 beats) Figures, I went out to get drinks with them one night, and they would not stop telling old battle stories that they had with you. Though to be fair we didn’t know each other that well at the time, so it was an easy commonality between the two of us. We went back and forth in sharing stories, so it wasn’t completely one sided. They're a really great person, and honestly, I’m glad that we got to talking with each other. (Pause for 3 beats, pensively) While we’re on the topic of internal security, let me know if you want to put your information into the system, just to avoid any discomfort with the security in case Honor Guard isn’t able to help you.

(Pause for 3 beats) Yeah you’re entirely right, this was The Memorial Atrium, though we’re renaming it to…well we’re not sure yet, we have a pool going on across the entirety of the organization. So far it looks like The Resting Garden is winning. (Pause for 3 beats) No, we didn’t get rid of The Memorial Atrium, we just moved it. Actually that’s me lying, now it’s called Memorial Hall, it will have an atrium by the same name, and a plate that gives information to visitors. (Pause for 3 beats) Yeah, with all the heroes that announced their retirements, we figured that the atrium was going to quickly fill up; So we allocated some funds to build a new building, nothing fancy, but enough to host memorials to our heroes for a long while before needing an expansion.

Has anyone gone through the process of getting a contractor position with Meta/Facebook? Please tell me what the process looked like for you because the process I'm going through seems shady but not shady enough where I know for sure not to pursue. Below is my process, but you can just answer with your experience, don't have to read. lol
I applied to a job posting via Easy Apply on Linkedin. Same day got a message from a recruiter for the job but they didn't say anything about my application, so I don't know if it was in response to my application. The recruiter was different from the one who posted the position. The recruiter sent me a link to an application which is the contractor website Meta has in their FAQs. The email they are using is @ meta but did not check out through email checker. Also when I added one letter using the last name they have on linked in, it did go through the email checker, weird. Recruiter had Meta and a recruiting company listed as her jobs. I found a ton of people in her connections that had the same two positions listed. They are also all based in Canada. Me and the position are not based in Canada. Their linked ins are paid and 500+ connections though. Recruiter called me without a scheduled time. Chat was weird, feel like a screening. It was like they never looked at my resume and after I told her about my relevant experience and degree in the correct field they said "Oh so you don't have experience in X field." Also their accent changed three times during our call and just seemed contrived. They also asked for my birthday at the end of the call and kept asking me to confirm my legal full name on the phone and in a "Right to Represent" email they sent after. I asked what the process is after this, and who I'm signing a contract with and if I would be getting hired by a contracting company because that's what it seems like. I've also seen people say online they got hired by recruiting companies to Meta. They said I would be working directly with Meta except payroll and onboarding, and I would work only with this recruiter through the whole hiring process. They said that they would send my written screening questions to the hiring manager but didn't mention an interview. Same day I got a text from a random number and random First Name (didn't give last name or email) asking when we could schedule a call for the position I applied to and again did not tell me where they got my phone number from and anything about an application. Also later in the day got another call from a Canada number from a different number. They didn't leave voicemail. Also I sent a resume through linked in, through the application website, and they still want me to send a resume to their email again along with the screening questions which are badly written. Cherry on top they sent me an email today (Sunday) at a time which would be between 2-4AM in Canada. I mean yes they could have sent a scheduled email, but that still means they scheduled it over the weekend. In India time though it would 12 in the afternoon on Monday.

Pretty sure she’s just uninterested but for some background context this girl who I used to see at school a long time ago when I was younger followed me back on instagram. We started talking in dms and I asked for her phone number. We called and it was going alright. Next day she was talking to me all day, and same with the next day. But after that she texted me yesterday morning and was typing in all caps and describing what she did the night before. (All caps is normal for her) I texted back and she hasn’t answered all day. Currently like 2am she texted at like 8am yesterday

Hey guys,
had this incident lately where I was looking at song lyrics from a website with Safari that didn't seem malicious. All of a sudden my iPhone stopped responding to gestures and acting abnormally. My screen brightness got adjusted (no auto brightness on). Got scared for a second, already thinking if my phone starts calling a number or accessing private data, how could I react (by mauling the phone?).
So, after a brief moment I did get the shut down-option and engaged, but it felt as if I was wrestling with an active remote control user. Phew. As I turned my phone on again, my screen brightness was interestingly stuck at around 70%, and anything above that didn't affect the brightness. I opened Safari and deleted the history and cache, and boom: brightness returned to normal (100%).
Have you had anything like this? I have had a similar incident around a year ago with my MBP (running Mojave) where my screen also turned dim and someone had written a reply to my message field in a conversation in Telegram Web. This time I was watching a film series in a malicious website.
It seems (logically) as if Safari has some sort of vulnerability that exposes it to some sort of remote access tools.

I always keep my software up to date (except my macOS that is Mojave), and did not find any traces or extra users in my devices.

I live in a duplex, and home insurance is purchased in the name of our strata corporation.
We have an EPS number — although I’m not sure if it is registered with some governmental agency, but beyond that, we’ve never had annual meetings, filed tax returns, elections, etc. I was wondering if that makes our strata corporation delinquent or anything of that sort, and if such a delinquency would affect my home insurance as an owner of the strata corporation?

I have contacted the local council, as well as try to be reasonable with my neighbour by telling the to be quiet at night. For the past few years living in my family’s home. The people that live above me stomp, slam the door and play music loudly every single day, whether it be at night or morning. They blocked my phone number so they do not have to see me “annoy” them.
