Played the demo, and I loved a lot about it. Only thing is, I didn't really like the hyper armor on enemies. I like comboing enemies in these Warriors games. I imagine the full game isn't going to be much different in that regard.
The mooks can be juggled, so I want to ask... are there any grunt types in the game at all that can take a few more hits? In the demo, all the grunts went down in just two hits. Couldn't even make use of Impa's cool aerial moves...
Maybe at least if you go into later content with a weaker weapon? If I can have a little comboing fun on the side I'll be sold on this one as it has many great mechanics.

Hey all, I'm planning to run a superhero rpg that's got a Young Avengers/Teen Titans feel, and naturally gravitated towards Masks as a possible system to run it in. I've had a read through the rules, and coming from experience with systems like Pathfinder, D&D5e, and Traveller, I'm feeling a bit lost as to how PBtA games run. The combat-lite system is kind of leaving me wondering what a session of PBtA looks like on average? None of my circles of RPG friends have ever run it before, so I was hoping someone could kind of give me a rundown of what a typical session looks like, and how players are engaged by it.

Hey everyone, we're AceZone. We make headsets designed for gaming and esports. Our products are used in professional esports in games such as CS:GO, Apex Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League and more. We work with big tournament orginazers like ESL, BLAST, PGL and many more.
We've done a lot of work and measurements on our products using games like CS:GO and Apex Legends, working with the community to create the best audio settings for those games. We want to include Valorant in this.
One thing we found out was that by using our headsets, you could hear critical audio cues ealiefaster than if you were using competitor headsets (we tested against so many many competitor headsets, the results were always the same). Needless to say, this made is very excited. One way we did it was to create a scenario we could repeat again and again and get data. In CS:GO we used the map Inferno, where we put a player at the sandbags to listen for enemies coming up through banana. So basically a fixed position and scenario that we could repeat and that people would know, if they had played the game. We made a video which we hope could communicate the competitive advantages our products can give players.

So basically we want to this with Valorant as well, but we want to do it right. We're looking a place in a map where we can do something similar. A place where audio plays a big role and where hearing something earlier could give players a huge advantage. We're reaching out here to get some input for you, the players.
We're willing to pay 100 US dollars for the best idea. We may get several ideas sent our way, so we decided that the winner will be the one who first sends us the idea that we end up using.

Quite new to the running world, have been in the game for about a year and a half. Targeting a 50 mile in 4 months and opted to engage a coach to assist me (and protect me from the times I want to aggressively increase my mileage).
Yesterday was my recovery run, all Z1, which I opted to do on a trail (3/5 technical, 600' gain in 3 miles). In order to maintain HR in that zone, I had to hike about half of the time. My question for the more seasoned runners, are you able to run trail slowly and stay in Z1? What percentage of the time do you have to hike/walk to stay in the zone?

Every game I play it's just scrubs backing away 24/7.
No I'm not losing to it. No I don't think it's broken. No I don't think it's cheap.
Back dashing and backing away is a strategic option and i have no issue with that, but this isn't backing away for a bait this is just being a coward.
I'm just tired of seeing it. 95% of my matches are me having to walk forward the whole length of the screen just to do damage because no one is aggressive. Then, when I get there, I have to bait drive impacts EVERY SINGLE TIME only for me to do a combo and have them hop away and go to the other corner. It's the most stale gameplay I have ever experienced in any fighting game.
Street fighter devs need to start heavily punishing this style of play. Like take away all meter after a little bit of just backing away or something.
It's always the modern control kids, too. Some classic players do it, but man, modern style is CHOCK FULL of em.
That or lemme screen players I match with to only have classic or something. This is getting tedious and frankly new player or not, it's insainly annoying.

Not sure how well-received the tips will be but, given the differences between the Iron Teeth and the Folk Tails, I figured that it won't hurt.
- Make sure to get the research for forester and stairs first and foremost. This applies to Folktails too as foresters supply not only wood but also certain food items (like chestnuts for Folktails). As for the stairs, you can use them to gain access to places with dead trees for wood, get across rivers before platforms become available and plant aquatic crops.
- Use your (Ironteeth) foresters to grow not only pine trees, oak trees, blueberries and dandelions but also mangroves. Mangroves must be planted in water like cattails and spadderdocks (hence why stairs are essential). You will need gatherers when the mangroves start to grow fruits. On a side note, while it will take a while to even start converting dandelions into medicine, you will definitely need it as your industry grows.
- Make sure to at least have one farm with two 7x7 plots of kohlrabi and one 7x7 plot of cassava. You will need the kohlrabi until you can harvest the mangrove fruits. The extra plot of kohlrabi can be replaced with another crop (I'd recommend cassava first) later in the game.
- Make sure to have at least a basic reservoir of water with floodgates. That way, you will be less vulnerable to droughts during the early game until you can get your dynamites.
- For early buildings, make sure to start with one lumber mill and one fermenter (to make fermented cassava) powered by a single power wheel. As your population grows, you can consider adding more power wheels or use water wheels.
- Get a gear workshop as quickly as possible so that you can build not only the facilities needed to get dynamite but also medium water tanks. Ironteeth beavers drink a lot so you definitely need to make sure they have a good storage of water.

Heya guys, I've been trying to come up with a Druid character that puts a heavy emphasis on maintaining the balance between creation and destruction. What I realized is that unlike some other games, 5e doesn't have a particular subclass meant for this archetype (think Balance druid from WoW).
So.. I made my own! It's my first subclass I've ever written and I would really love critique on it, my DM said that if I give him something polished enough and balanced enough I would be able to play this subclass in our campaign.

Circle of Destruction and Creation

Life is a fragile thing, a part of a bigger, more important cycle which must continue at all costs. This philosophy is the basis for the Destruction and Creation Druids, who are tasked by greater powers beyond their comprehension to take part in creating life and destroying it, as a means of continuing this cycle. Druids of this circle gain their power and wisdom through a special feature - Channel Nature, which uses the same resource as the Wild Shape. By using Channel Nature, these Druids can change their strengths and weaknesses in accordance to their needs - and either wreak havoc, or create and support life. The power gifted to these druids is divine in nature, with one deity representing creation and another representing destruction. The Druid's role is to balance the desires of the two deities and partake in a harmonious way of living, one completely neutral and detached from worldly struggles. If the druid abuses on of the deities' strength, the other deity may be inclined to punish him for choosing destruction over creation or vice versa, earning him a bane.

Bonus Cantrip

When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you learn two additional cantrips of your choice, one for each part of the cycle (Destruction and Creation). The cantrip you choose for the Destruction Cycle must be a damaging cantrip, and the cantrip you choose for the Creation cycle must be a non damaging cantrip. You may use each cantrip only while in their respective cycles. These cantrips don't count against the number of druid cantrips you know.

Natural Recovery

Starting at 2nd level, you can regain some of your magical energy by sitting in meditation and communing with nature. During a short rest, you choose expended spell slots to recover. The spell slots can have a combined level that is equal to or less than half your druid level (rounded up), and none of the slots can be 6th level or higher. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a long rest. For example, when you are a 4th-level druid, you can recover up to two levels worth of spell slots. You can recover either a 2nd-level slot or two 1st-level slots.

Channel Nature

Also at level 2, by channeling the power of either of your patron deities, you gain special abilities depending on which deity you chose for an amount of time equal to your druid level divided by 3. Channeling their strength requires spending one use of your wild shape. Channeling Nature has advantages and disadvantages. After channeling either deity's power, you are locked in their cycle for the duration of the Channel, and may not change your cycle or revert to your normal mode. For each of the cycles, you receive a Boon and a Bane, which will be listed below.
Channel Creation- For the duration, you gain access to the following spells, but you may only cast these spells if you have the appropriate spell slots for them: Cure Wounds, Healing Word, Bless, Protection from Good and Evil, Lesser Restoration. When casting these spells, you expend a spell slot as you normally would. Creation Boon - When you cast a spell from this list, you heal the target for an additional 1d8 hit points (even if the spell doesn't heal in the first place). Creation Bane - While Channeling creation, you can not kill any target, and have a disadvantage to attack and spell attack rolls against any target.
Channel Destruction- For the duration, you gain access to the following spells, but you may only cast these spells if you have the appropriate spell slots for them: Hellish Rebuke, Burning Hands, Scorching Ray. Destruction Boon - When you cast a spell from this list, you roll an additional 1d8 for the damage roll. The damage type matches that of the spell. Destruction Bane- While Channeling Destruction, you may not heal any target.
Additional Spells-
when reaching certain levels, your spell options for both option increase. When you reach the 5th level, your spell list for Creation includes Revivify, and your spell list for Destruction includes Fireball or Lightning Bolt (your choice, but you cannot change it). When you reach the 7th level, your spell list for Creation includes Aura of Life, and your spell list for Destruction includes Fire Shield. When you reach the 9th Level, your spell list for Creation includes Mass Cure Wounds, and your spell list for Destruction includes Immolation. When you reach the 11th level, instead of learning new spells, every spell of 6th level or higher that you cast gains the same boons your cycle spells receive.

Transfer Pain

Starting at level 6, as a reaction, depending on your cycle, you may either redirect half of the damage you received from an attack to a willing ally (Destruction), or you may redirect half of the damage an ally received from an attack towards yourself (Creation). You may use this feature a number equal to your proficiency bonus.

Transfer Effect

When you reach level 10, as a reaction, depending on your cycle, you may either redirect an effect or condition cast on you to a willing ally (Destruction), or you may redirect an effect or condition cast on an ally towards yourself. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.

The Middle Path

When you reach 14th level, you gain considerable mastery over the balance of the two cycles. As a bonus action, you can choose to expend both uses of your wild shape at the same time, allowing you to receive all the benefits of each cycle while negating the downsides entirely. Once you use this feature, you may not use it again until you finish a long rest, even if you restore your wild shape uses by completing a short rest.

Labyrinth (WIP)
More of a long-term project, this gamemode is meant to be an RPG experience, where the player finds themselves stranded in a mystical labyrinth, full of dangerous bosses, daring challenges and unsolved mysteries.
