I want to start by crediting Tarnished Archaeologist, Hawkshaw, Sinclair Lore and SmoughTown for their video essays on Elden Ring lore. The credit is general, because I, to my shame, really can’t remember exactly where I first heard a particular notion brought up, and how it goaded me into my own further thoughts. Most of my thoughts on Elden Ring lore are like this, it all gets muddled and I forget if an idea was even my own initially. You can probably hear many of the below ideas in their work, and more fleshed out at that. But (in case anyone here actually needs to hear this) the point is that I warmly recommend them all and don’t really want to take any personal credit for what follows, it’s more or less just the conclusions I’ve reached based on all the Eternal City-related lore I’ve consumed.
Happy to hear any thoughts, further observations and counter-points on anything below as nailing down the timeline/nature of the Nox and their cities is one of the biggest conondrums I've had with the game's lore.
PART 1: FLOURISHING ON THE SURFACE
The Nox once lived above ground
Nox Monk Armor says:
“Long ago, the Nox invoked the ire of the Greater Will, and were banished deep underground. Now they live under a false night sky…” They most likely lived above ground, and had their heyday, at least partially in pre-Erdtree times. Siofra River map says:
“This vast region is said to be the grave of civilizations that flourished before the Erdtree”. There are only two civilizations in Siofra: the Uhl/Ancestral Worshippers, and the Nox.
Nokstella features statues matching the ones found on Divine Tower bridges (and lots of other places, like the Fortified Manor; basically early/pre-Erdtree statuary). It isn’t common imagery in the Eternal Cities, but it is there. This ties them to whatever civilization - be it pre- or early-Erdtree - that made those statues.
Reason for banishment
It was for invoking the “ire of the Greater Will” they were banished. But they were once, in some way, aligned/allied with the Greater Will.
The Fingerslayer Blade says that it is:
“...proof of the high treason committed by the Eternal City” You can not commit high treason against something you’re not aligned with in the first place.
This could mean they were banished early on in the Age of the Erdtree, when the Greater Will is perceived to have become the “main god” in power, or that they themselves served the Greater Will directly in pre-Erdtree times.
The implication seems to be they were a faction/part of an alliance, but not necessarily the leading one - because someone had the power to determine their actions were to be considered treason, and banish them underground. This is all, of course, assuming the details haven’t all been lost to time to such an extent that it’s only believed at present they were banished for treason when the actual truth was something a bit different…
People of the day and of the night
The giant ever-shining Erdtree and the removal of Death from existence symbolizes a land out of natural balance. Life has won over death. Day has won over night. The Erdtree is like a perpetual sun that prevents the Lands Between from having any true night, coupled with the literal complete halting of the stars’ movements by the warrior, born of sorcerers, Radahn.
Like how Marika, the golden-eyed queen of life, claimed complete victory over the gloam-eyed queen of death, the stars- and night-worshipping Nox completely lost to the Erdtree and its everlasting day. But as we said before, they weren’t just conquered in war like the Fire Giants - they specifically committed high treason. Nox architecture also looks conspicuously modern and advanced, much more in line with modern Leyndell architecture (totally different style, but in terms of advancement) than any older civilizations like the giants or dragons.
I believe, therefore, the Nox most likely had their heyday right before and in the transition period to the Age of the Erdtree. It’s pretty well-supported that this was the civilization Marika herself actually arose from; early patches called the Nox “Empyrean Family”, the BK Assassins are said to both be Numen and descendants of the Eternal City to this day, so-called Numen Runes are found underground in the domain of the Eternal Cities. But the Nox’ original religious beliefs, cultural practices and ultimate desires became increasingly incompatible with the newly established Golden Order. They didn’t openly rebel and start a giant civil war or anything, but… we’ll get to the rest.
TERMINOLOGICAL INTERMISSION
Does the term “Eternal City” only refer to the cities underground? I think it’s worth considering. This was my initial assumption, but the Black Moon
“once hung above [Nokstella]” and was
“the guide of countless stars” but is now
“lost” Its fragments are all found on the surface, collected by sorcerer-astrologers and kept in their towers all across the world. Not one is found underground, where Nokstella itself only has a talisman that “represents" their lost moon. So it seems likely that the moon hung above Nokstella when it/its people was on the SURFACE, and guided (pulled in with gravitation?) stars to them. This would imply the term “Eternal City” can refer interchangeably to the cities as they were on the surface or the rebuilt (?) ones underground. And that has at least one possible further implication.
PART 2: LIFE UNDERGROUND
How did the “banishment”/ruination of the cities come about?
Eternal Darkness is a sorcery originating from the Eternal City, and is said to be
“the despair that brought about its ruin made manifest” The spell creates a black hole that draws in sorceries and incantations. One interpretation would be that this was considered heretical, and was part of why they were banished, but I do not think so due to the use of the word “despair”. Did the Eternal City conjure such a giant version of this black hole that it pulled in a deluge of stars, which smashed their black moon and wreaked havoc upon their cities? That would certainly be cause for despair, and ruin to follow.
But the Fingerslayer Blade is also
“proof of [the Eternal City’s]high treason … and symbolizes its downfall” So it seems we have two items that function very differently yet both lay claim to symbolizing/closely relating to the ruin/downfall of the cities.
Personally, the most elegant way to square the two is to say that time has muddled the specificities of their downfall. They did turn against the Greater Will and either attempted to, or did, slay one of the Two Fingers. They ALSO fucked around with cosmic research and found out. They made themselves public enemy number one with their treason, and brought ruin on their own cities with their reckless starchasing. Thanks to the passage of time, the two events coalesced into one story about them “drawing down the ire of the Greater Will and being banished underground”. Or maybe was promoted as such by the powers that be.
How did the move underground actually happen?
There are no “Eternal City ruins” on the surface whatsoever. They’re all underground. There are the towns in the style of Sellia, Ordina and lower Leyndell, but these seem much less advanced, perhaps residencies for commoners and not the high clergy/researchers that make up their high society. This is actually pretty odd considering there are ruins of virtually EVERY type and from every time period for us to inspect and ponder on across the Lands Between.
So this raises the question of whether the Nox literally moved their stuff underground.
Spatial displacement is uncommon in Elden Ring, it’s not something you can just theorize someone did and leave it at that. But the few times it actually comes up can be at least tangentially tied to the Nox. Astel can teleport freely, and while he’s known for destroying, not helping them, his is still the kind of power the Nox were eagerly fucking around (also known as researching) with. And the teleporter gates - so omnipresent and mysterious - by their outward appearance at least, are, in fact, distinctly Noxian. The first time your average player is likely to run into one is probably in the Siofra River, bringing them from the lower Uhl ruins to the higher strata right below the Eternal City proper.
Personally, I also think the particular way the Nokron Eternal City buildings intersect with the older Uhl ones looks really odd and slapdash. There seems to be little rhyme or reason and you go from one to the other pretty spontaneously. Lastly, let me tie this back to those few conspicuous statues - why would they bring these with them, or rebuild them exactly, if they represent a tie to a civilization they have left behind, betrayed, and become hated by?
Astel's assault
This presumably had to happen before Radahn stopped the stars, or an Astel would not have been able to descend on the Lands Between.
The Nameless Eternal City is the only one missing its false night sky and so it’s assumed that it was also inhabited by Nox & friends before Astel’s assault killed every last one of them. Leyndell later hermit-crabbed in with their gargoyles, mausoleum and Godwyn burial.
HOWEVER,
an alternate take would be that Astel’s assault refers to the very same event that caused them to flee underground in the first place. The sky he took away was their true sky. This doesn’t really work with the item description as written though, because it specifically says “an Eternal City”, so it would require there to be some translation errors at play... I know plurals can sometimes be weird in japanese translations, but I'm otherwise totally ignorant and won't delve further into this here.
This would call into question what actually happened with the Nameless Eternal City, seeing how it's the only one without any actual Nox present and also completely wrecked. Tarnished Archeologist’s thesis is that it actually was part of Leyndell itself - the odd giant moat with its gates to nowhere between the main city and the outskirts which matches the location and shape of the underground Eternal City almost perfectly. We can perhaps attribute the ruination to lack of upkeep combined with the wild growth of Erdtree roots, and the Nox aren't there because Leyndell came down and chased them away (they probably wouldn’t want their hated enemies that want to destroy their order, right at the very roots of their golden tree that empowers said order).
Research into artificial life
I believe the Nox were screwing around with artificial life even before their downfall. It marks a clear symbolic opposition to the Greater Will, the Erdtree and its power of natural, organic life - true gold and false silver. I believe the Albinaurics were at one point, in cut content, outright said to be made by the Eternals; in the present game it seems more likely that the sorcerers of Raya Lucaria (likely with aid from Nokstella, though) are responsible but the tie still remains. This research seems to have accelerated underground, in any case, with them deprived of any access to the true life of the stars.
- Dragonkin Soldiers were made in imitation of the Ancient Dragons.
- Silver Tears are able to imitate any kind of life. They’re weak but incredibly numerous.
- Mimic Tears were intended to mimic a lord, but could only mimic appearance and power, not true strength of will.
One can see a force of counter-revolution take shape. A small number of immensely powerful shock (har har) troopers; a large and extremely flexible base force; and a lord to lead them, though all under the control of their masters, the clergy of alchemical savants.
PART 3: REMAINING THREADS TO THE SURFACE
Sellia
Sellians are, as per Gowry,
“descendants of the Eternal” They use sorceries that originates from Nokron as per Night Maiden’s Mist and the aforementioned Eternal Darkness. Nox are also present in Sellia itself. Sellia is known as a shady town of treacherous sorcerers that competed violently for clout, which seems to have been spurred on by them acquiring powerful sorceries from the Nox, repeating the theme of an excessive yearning for power and knowledge leading to self-destruction. Its secretive nature and geographical distance from the center of power in Leyndell likely made this a convenient place for the Nox to scout the surface and begin to reestablish some connections.
Caria
The Carian-controlled Church of Vows features a statue of a Nox Nightmaiden. In its basin one can use a Celestial Dew, a hidden “Night Tear” originally from the Eternal City itself, to absolve oneself of sins.
This could be taken in multiple ways. The Nox statue is probably used because they are known to all as great sinners. But it may have served a different purpose originally, and to the Carians (just not to any Golden Order-friend who comes sightseeing), perhaps still?
The Black Knives & Ranni
The Black Knife Assassins were descendants (scions) of the Eternal City nobles. They were clad in silver, the cities’ metal of choice for their craftsmanship.
Liurnia lies above the Eternal City of Nokstella. Ranni has a portal to Nokstella in one of her towers. Iji says he presumes we have heard of Nokstella. But it is Nokron which contains the secret relic of betrayal, the Fingerslayer Blade.
The implication seems to be that the Carians communicated with Nokstella, which in turn had been separated from Nokron for a long time. After all, we find no teleporting devices connecting the two, and the Golden Order has placed its mighty full-grown gargoyles at the waterfall which could potentially connect them via Deeproot Depths.
Ranni’s compatriots were possibly a mix of ladies of the court, who had ostensibly stayed with Marika but secretly plotted a new betrayal, and sorcerous technology from Nokstella.

First time trying to Homebrew magic items and would like some feedback on these.
For starters these items are made to reflect their backstory, with their class having little influence on my decisions. I don’t care if they’re OP compared to enemies, but I care if some are OP compared to each other. I want them all to have fun with these.
Bard : One-Man Band
- At the start of the campaign player asked to have a shapeshifting instrument that can change into other instruments. I said I’ll work on it and I wanted to add on to the idea.
- Harmonica that can change into any instrument using a command word, making the user automatically proficient in that weapon.
- Passive : Spellcasting focus, +1 to spell attack and DC
- Active : Effect added to spells cast with this in hand, or effect created on its own. All areas originate from the user :
- Percussion : 15ft cube WIS save or be stunned until end of user’s next turn.
- Wind : 5ft by 30ft line DEX save or be knocked prone.
- String : 60ft radius CHA save or be charmed/frightened (user’s choice) until end of user’s next turn.
- Electronic : 15ft cone CON save or be pushed back 10ft and deafened until end of user’s next turn.
- Hybrid : Roll to determine which effect is used.
- Charges : Equal to proficiency bonus and recharges at dawn.
- Comparisons:
- Item compared to the All-Purpose Tool, changing the “cantrip” part to the various instrument modes.
- Percussion effect not based on any preexisting spells or abilities. I’m concerned it may be too OP to have an area effect stunning, but wasn’t sure.
- Wind effect made using Dragonborn’s Breath Weapon.
- String effect compared to Calm Emotions spell, but increased distance to make up for “weaker” effect.
- Electronic effect made using Thunderwave spell.
- Hybrid is just used to explain any instruments that use multiple types (like electric guitar, lore reasons why that’s even an option).
- Concerns :
- I don’t know the Bard spell list that well, nor how they typically play, so my concerns are that the effects are either already spells a Bard has access to to, they are redundant, or they’re useless. Would love input on that.
- Also wasn’t sure on how balanced each effect was with one another and wanted input in that.
Sorcerer : Alien Companion
- They are an aberrant mind sorcerer and gave me full reign over their backstory on how this came to be. They have no idea why a flumph is following them around all of a sudden. The flumph is resommoned by an “unknown person”.
- A flumph that seems attached to the user, following their instructions loyally. The flumph acts as both a familiar and as an Expert sidekick.
- Has its own initiative, free action to command it, CAN attack, cannot take on new forms, will respawn after one hour if killed.
- Charges : None applicable except constraints set by the sidekick class or the race limits. Considering adding a limit on respawns, maybe only allowing the flumph to reappear at the next dawn.
- Comparisons :
- This flumph has a modified statblock to fit its own past and experience, but is otherwise still a flumph. Removed the prone thing flumph a have cause I didn’t wanna deal with it.
- Concerns :
- I don’t know how powerful a familiar with the changes I made is too or less powerful, both compared to regular familiars and to the other magic items in the list.
- Also not sure if there are any interactions with the sorcerer class I should be aware of.
Barbarian : Organic Threads
- One of the more backstory related items that really doesn’t tie into the class at all, the player wanted more out of combat options, and she’s a granny PC who loves knitting so here we are!
- Box of various rare magical threads that has a variety of uses in and out of combat :
- Unicorn Hair : Rope-like thread that is incredibly sturdy and laced with magic. Popular building and mending material.
- Drider Silk : Sticky silk thread perfect for traps, nets, and powerful restraining; uses are up to user ideas.
- Violet Fungus : While violet is the most common, there are other colors whose fibers invoke different magical effects when used.
- Violet : Slightly poisonous sap leaks from it.
- Blue : Waterbreath, permanent if mask made from the thread is worn over the face, 1 hour of thread is consumed
- Green : Photosynthesizes and becomes capable of healing wounds.
- Yellow : Emits light, I imagine like glow sticks.
- Orange : Emits heat, capable of cooking and warming other stuff, but not enough to do serious damage.
- Red : Able to move on its own and perform basic tasks if given proper stimuli.
- Alchemist’s Thread : Tough wirey thread used for making protective gear. Able to provide temporary AC if armor pieces are made from it.
- Dire Sheep Wool : Wool from dire sheep, self explanatory. Provides resistance to the following damage types : mundane (bludgeoning/piercing/slashing/fall/etc), cold, and thunder. Weak to fire damage.
- Charges : Equal to proficiency bonus and recharges at dawn. All threads use the same pool of uses.
- Comparisons :
- Unicorn hair is like a beefed up mending, able to repair anything perfectly as long as most of the original is there and nothing vital is missing. Note that it can’t create something (like turning a pile of logs into a raft) but it could repair a raft that’s missing…. Idk nails? It’s also able to return magic to a repaired item. It also is not able to work as a healing spell, so HP won’t be recovered but it could technically patch up a wound and stabilize them?
- Drider silk is compared to nets and other traps, with these stats DC 15 to escape, AC 15, and HP 20. The silk is strong and sticky enough to restraint creatures tiny to large and can trip prone tiny to gargantuan. Exceptions may vary depending on the monster or the type of trap used, but that’s the general idea.
- The funguses are based on various little effects. Most are clear what their use is. Violet is like a “basic poison”, blue is water breathing, green is like a “potion of healing”, yellow is like a torch/lantern, orange is a natural heater, and red is like the mage hand/unseen servant spells.
- Alchemists thread is given the explicit ability to act like a one use Shield spell. If the user had already used a charge of the box to make an accessory or something out of it, then it can be used to buff the AC. Other uses are available but that’s the explicit use I give.
- Dire sheep wool is one of the few threads that can be used without being woven, but it’s less effective. In its unwoven form it only reduces the damage by half and is rendered useless after one hit, but woven together is more lasting and can completely nullify the damage.
- Concerns :
- The biggest concern is that there are too many options and some are clearly more favorable than others. With the use limit so small, I’m worried about that.
- Barbarian : Crown of the Kind
- This barbarian is a lovable idiot, whose immense strength accidentally hurts people and it makes him sad. A crown that was owned by a pacifist king seems up his alley.
- Crown made of lead and silver, both to protect from incoming magic and also to enhance its own magic.
- Passive : Advantage on charisma skill checks, insight checks, and wisdom skill checks and saving throws.
- Active : The user can charm someone into becoming basically a thrall for them until the next dawn. They gain the person as a loyal servant as long as the target is not forced to do anything that causes them or things they care about harm. Basically if you treat them good the effect lasts. If the charming is broken then the target cannot be affected by charm effects by the user anymore, even using other methods.
- Charges : Equal to proficiency bonus and recharges at dawn. Limit to one thrall at a time.
- Comparisons : The active ability is like an extended Suggestion spell.
- Concerns : Might be too OP…. No real specific problems
Rogue : Mimic Pouch
- Character is a changeling hiding and cursing their existence, and I think mimics are an awesome pairing with them.
- A bag of tiny mimics that look like silver coins until commanded to do something. If given a snack, they’ll be very loyal. The mimics act as both an “animal companion” and as a collective Warrior sidekick.
- Charges : None applicable except constraints set by the sidekick class or the race limits. As long as the entire colony isn’t killed at once, the mimics can reproduce and keep their colony alive if some die.
- Comparisons :
- The mimics have a homebrewed statblock, largely similar to the standard mimic.
- Concerns :
- Still deciding if letting them count as an ally to activate sneak attack. Possibly need to be out of the bag and doing something to count; just keeping them in the bag isn’t helpful.
Druid : Animated Spyglass
- Character is an INT based Druid who studies astronomy.
- A magical spyglass made to assist the scholarly warriors on the field of battle.
- Passive : Spellcasting focus, ignore half cover and double the range of ranged spell attacks, magnifies things to a factor of 10, advantage on ranged attacks, perception checks, and intelligence skill checks.
- Active : Speaking the command word allows the spyglass to float on its own to keep hands free, magical truesight from 120ft and beyond (meaning 0-120ft does not grant truesight), see thru mundane material except lead, scrying (true sight doesn’t function during scrying and scrying can’t get through magical obscuring or lead/other magic blocking methods.
- Charges : Equal to proficiency bonus and recharges at dawn.
- Comparisons :
- Spyglass acts like an animated shield.
- Scrying is like the scrying spell.
- Concerns : A lot of stuff added in, but I feel like it’s all relatively situational? Might need more constraints.
Any feedback or suggestions are appreciated! What matters most is that the items are relatively balanced between one another, are interesting and don’t clash with class stuff. Still working on it, I have about a week until I need these ready so I have time, just wanted other opinions if you wanna give them! My friends and I are lenient with one another, and we're prepared to make changes as necessary during play.

NEW CONTENT Catania Crossing - 3 vs 3 Map Adding a new 3 vs 3 bridge map released exclusively for Skirmish, Custom Games and Co-Op vs AI modes. - A return to classic CoH bridge maps, based on the Allied Landings in Sicily.
- Features dense urban combat around critical bridge crossings, perfect for those who wish to hunker down and outlast their enemy.
GAMEPLAY CHANGES Audio British Forces – War Cry ability - All players will now hear a trench whistle followed by a crowd swell indicating the ability has been activated.
Camera - The camera now allows players to zoom out an additional 5 meters using the scroll wheel increasing the overall zoom level.
Event Cues - Event Cues are now aligned over top of the minimap.
- Event Cues priority has been adjusted across the board to prevent less important cues taking over more relevant ones.
- Event Cues now allow players to click and select units behind them.
- Event Cues are now limited to how many can display on screen at the same time
- The background transparency of Event Cues has been reduced to improve readability
- Event Cues lifetime on screen will adapt based on player interaction. Event Cues that are not interacted with will be unchanged. Event Cues that are clicked will be considered “seen” and their total lifetime will be reduced by 5 seconds. For example:
- A ‘grenade incoming’ event cue appears on screen. The player clicks on it after 10 seconds, the event cue immediately disappears as its total lifetime has been reduced to 5 seconds when becoming ‘seen’.
- The same event cue appears on screen again, this time the player clicks on it after 1 second: the event cue will be considered ‘seen' and will remain for 4 more seconds, as its total lifetime has been reduced to 5 seconds.
Maps Gazala Landing Ground - Minor adjustments to Strategic and Victory Point locations to ensure the Western points favor the Southern team and Eastern points favor the Northern team.
Mignano Gap - Improved the southernmost engagement area (the bottom of the valley) to be approachable from more angles
- Removed cover from Greek staircases to prevent unintended balance issues.
- Territory layout adjusted to ensure a fair dispersal of munitions resources near each Team's HQ areas.
Planes The intent of the changes to airplanes and loiters is to deliver more believable-looking visuals along with better responsiveness and game feel. When a player clicks, it’s essential that the feedback on the ability be more immediate. As always, we are looking into new ways to bring you an immersive experience, so we’ve adjusted the visuals and deformation on airplane crashes, dives, and projectile speeds. - Standardized airplane arrival times:
- Utility based airplanes (includes smoke & recon runs): 3 seconds
- Strafing runs: 5 seconds
- Bombing runs: 7 seconds
- Airplanes now start their dives earlier to allow for a less aggressive angle.
- Airplanes speed increase while loitering from 36 m/s to 72 m/s.
- Airplanes turn angles are increased from 25 degrees to 60 degrees.
- Adjusted Airplane crashes to create deformation and include a new effect.
- Adjusted Airplane crashes to damage environmental objects.
- Adjusted Airplane debris to last longer.
- Adjusted Airplanes doing dives to only drop the projectile when at a distance from the target as opposed to only when on top of the target.
- Adjusted Airplane abilities flares to match the center of the ability reticule.
- Adjusted Airplane abilities reticule colors to match the proper intention of the ability (green for utility, red for damage)
- Airplanes performing paradrop abilities are now invincible.
- Airplanes performing Mark Target abilities now show a proper indicator on the target.
Airplane Weapon & Projectile Changes - Adjusted projectile speeds overall to be 2x to 3x times faster.
- Adjusted bombs to have a 1.5x damage modifier against buildings and emplacements.
- Adjusted deformation to better match the area of effect of some of the explosions.
- Adjusted strafing runs to have an area of effect of 45m length.
- Adjusted strafing runs to cover the area within 1s as opposed to 3s.
Loiter Changes - Loiters no longer acquire new targets in base sectors.
- Loiters now display a ground indicator that reflects the target acquisition area.
- Loiters now display an indicator on top of the unit they are targeting.
- Loiters now properly display the time left for the ability to end.
- Loiters now take longer in between passes.
Afrikakorps - Stuka Dive Bomb munition cost from 250 to 150.
Wehrmacht - Fragmentation Bomb now drops 6 bombs instead of 4.
- Fragmentation Bomb now has two airplanes in formation.
Plane Bug Fixes - Airplanes performing a Mark Target will now leave the field properly if the target is destroyed.
- Loiter airplanes no longer leave the field pre-emptively which was causing instances where instead of two airplanes loitering there would be only one.
- Various Audio fixes missing voiceovers in different airplane abilities.
Player Names - A new bindable hotkey has been added to the Controls settings, allowing players to customize the button to temporarily toggle player names. Default has been set to CTRL.
- A toggle for player names has been added to the game settings both while in a match and in the main menu
- ON: Player names will be permanently displayed under the unit decorator.
- OFF: Player names will not display under the unit decorator permanently, but players will still be able to toggle them temporarily using their assigned hotkey.
- Player names will be displayed on unit information cards.
- Player names will be using player’s selected color scheme in the UI (compatible with both team and unique colors). This will apply to names displayed in the RTS layer, on the unit card and in the player list.
Unique Team / Player Colors - Team and Unique colors now apply to player names.
- Team and Unique colors now apply to units' health bars on the unit cards.
- Territory point flag and capture UI now uses team colors rather than unique colors.
Player List - Added a tooltip when hovering with the mouse on Battlegroups in the Player List, containing the Battlegroup name and a brief description.
- All Battlegroups from each player’s loadout will now be visible in the player list: it will no longer be possible to check which Battlegroups other players have picked.
- Player names will respect the color scheme chosen by the player in the Gameplay settings: when Team Colors are enabled, the player will be assigned the blue color, allies the yellow color and opponents the red color. When enabling Unique Colors, the player’s team will be assigned the cold color palette, and the opposing team will be assigned the warm colors palette.
- Team 1 and 2 background colors standardized to blue for player team and red for opponents’ team.
Bug Fixes & Improvements - Fixed a save issue where the objective UI language was incorrect when loading a save that was made in a different language.
- Fixed an issue with the main menu background not appearing.
- Improved indication of resolution on the settings screen when borderless Fullscreen window mode is selected.
- Improved mouse compatibility and clamping while in windowed mode.
- Textbox now properly displays when chatting with friends.
Audio - Added a new sound effect to campaign map captures.
- Added an intel announcement for allied-controlled points that are attacked or taken by the enemy.
- Afrikakorps Mortar Units have found their voice. Fixed an issue where recrewed Afrikakorps Mortar Units would have no voice lines.
- Capture point now always plays capture sound when neutralized.
- Fixed audio sound effects when capture points are neutralized.
- Fixed certain British vehicles not using American lines after being restored by the American recovery vehicle.
- Fixed unnecessary intel message that played when using a CWT truck to recrew a team weapon.
- Paratrooper Squad's M1 Carbine now uses unique firing sound effects.
- Recon ability sound effects will no longer be heard in the fog of war.
- The Humber 15mm turret's sound effect now correctly matches fire rate and animation.
- US Forces halftracks now uses different audio after being upgraded.
- US Forces Intel referred to pathfinders as scouts when deployed from HQ. They are now correctly referred to as pathfinders.
- Victory and Defeat music on the results screen is now no longer affected by the muffling effect on remaining battle sounds.
Voice Over - Fixed silent voice over line at the end of the Defend Potenza mission.
- Intel voiceover warnings for weapon crews such as Anti-Tank guns and Mortars did not play when the unit was lost. Warnings now play correctly.
- M2A1 Howitzers now has working voice over lines.
- Refined the voiceover selection logic to reduce the repetition of memorable lines.
- Squads garrisoned in buildings now give a voiceover warning when the building is at risk of being destroyed.
- Victory and Defeat screen voiceover will now always play.
Art - Afrikakorps Panzergrenadiers now understand how boots work, therefore their legs no longer clip through their boots. It’s leg day!
- Anzio Annie crew now stands on the gun, where they should be.
- British Forces M1 Pack Howitzer Team now uses the correct models and portrait.
- Colors on the Afrikakorps Bersaglieri squad rifles have been adjusted to better match the unit.
- CWT AA Mount seat no longer clips through benches.
- Fixed smoke trails to match team colors.
- Flame attacks correctly apply charring to vehicles.
- Heavy machine guns no longer floats when the M8 Greyhound is destroyed.
- Kattenkrad Recon Vehicle now produces debris when destroyed.
- US Forces M1 carbine now uses the correct semi-automatic animation.
Gameplay - Fixed a scaling issue where unit paths would be the wrong size on the minimap.
- Fixed an issue where the cover dots indicators would be rendered floating in the air.
- Fixed an issue where the game was not updating the player correctly when an enemy neutralized one of the player's team-controlled sectors, and still showing the neutralized territory as player owned. With this change, after a point is neutralized by the enemy team, the player would correctly see it as neutral on both the RTS and the minimap/tactical map layers.
- Fixed an issue where the minimap did not orient north correctly.
- Fixed an issue where units got stuck when trying to exit certain buildings while retreating.
- Fixed an issue with some environmental vehicles being targetable as if they were enemies.
- Fixed A.I. players not supplying a direction to directional targeted abilities. This A.I. will now be using directional targeted abilities, such as the German Wespe Creeping Barrage veterancy ability.
- Fixed several instances of overly zealous infantry running towards the enemy when retreating.
- Fixed several issues related to bridges not correctly having cover.
- Loiter planes no longer disappear off map while performing abilities.
- Updated Line of Sight generated by capture points to be more consistent with past CoH games.
Localization - Added Japanese text display improvements.
- Adjusted and simplified tooltip text throughout the game.
- Fixed several typos and inconsistencies in texts.
- Fixed an issue with subtitles in Campaign not appearing at the correct time.
- Improved localization in all languages and integrated missing translations.
Maps - Added missing cover to several objects in the environment.
- Fixed an issue on Aere Perennius where the map zone/territory would be drawn incorrectly between ruined buildings.
- Fixed an issue where certain buildings would make units garrisoned inside invincible.
- Fixed an issue where territory lines did not display correctly on stairs.
- Fixed missing collision on large standing fuel container on L'Aquila map.
- Fixed several issues with indestructible hedges.
- Fixed several issues with small objects taking up too much space and blocking unit movement.
- Updated balustrades to provide cover as expected (identically to stone walls).
- Updated hangar assets to no longer provide cover. Suspended sections were wrongfully providing cover to units beneath them.
- Updated map edge visuals on Torrente, including railway tunnel and rail lines.
- Improved width of impasse around some cliff areas across multiple maps to reduce clipping.
Modding Tools Improvements & Bug Fixes - Added first ability archetype “equip_and_fire_weapon”. This archetype is intended primarily for infantry to replicate the functionality of abilities such as grenades or panzerfausts. It will equip a weapon of the chosen name or hardpoint index and fire it X times at the target. The caster entity(ies) must have the weapon assigned to that hardpoint in order to cast.
- Introduced “custom properties”, which allow modders to adjust the variables that will be read by state tree scripts to allow variations of existing ability archetypes. Custom properties are only used for a specific ability state tree script, however any ability that references that state tree script can re-use the same variable names to create the same effect.
- Introduced the concept of an “ability archetype” -- These are template abilities that can be cloned to easily create variations using custom properties. For now, this is just the “equip_and_fire_weapon” ability with the potential to release more in the future. Previously, if you modded an ability like the rifleman’s grenade, it could only ever throw that specific grenade. Now a modder could adjust which weapon to swap in and how many shots to fire by copying the equip_and_fire_weapon ability and changing those properties.
- It will also be possible to use custom properties to adjust values on some of the abilities that do not yet have a formal archetype created, such as any of the flight abilities we reworked this patch and abilities such as Repair, which now exposes several tuning handles to adjust the repair amount.
- Tuning pack mods can now have their files reference each other without crashing on load
- Updated the default atmosphere to the latest day lighting version, this should improve the modding experience with default settings.
Performance - Fixed a crash that would sometimes occur when skipping a cutscene.
- Fixed an issue where capped fps was higher (by as much as 10fps) than the set cap due to sometime not being accumulated frame-to-frame.
- Reduced memory increases across missions.
Single Player - Fixed an issue that caused some objectives to be started multiple times.
- Fixed an issue where campaign save/load would become inaccessible after creating a skirmish game in single player.
- Fixed a crash that sometimes happened when loading a save game.
- Fixed mission failed dialog in certain campaign missions.
- Fixed several issues of missing voiceover dialog in campaign missions.
- Fixed several issues with camera fadeouts flickering or happening at the incorrect time during mission sitreps.
Dynamic Italian Campaign - AA Emplacements can no longer shoot at Supply Crates.
- AA emplacements no longer attack ships in the single player campaign.
- Added a fix for a specific Save/Load issue that affected a kill counter not updating properly in Fire with Fire mission.
- Added Relevant requirement text to the Heal, Repair, Encircle abilities when out of range.
- Adding correct portraits to Supply Drop Crates.
- Displaying correct description text on Supply drop Crates.
- Adjusted description for the following UK Artillery company abilities/upgrades to more accurately match their functionality in-game:
- Battle Hardened - Raises minimum Veterancy Level of Gurkha Rifles to 2.
- First Class Fighting Men - Raises minimum Veterancy Level of all infantry squads to 1.
- Adjusted out of bounds vista in Salerno to make for a smoother transition in the distance.
- Adjusted timing of Conti's Voice Over so it no longer overlaps with the sitrep.
- Assassinate Baumann object will no longer auto-complete and the mission can be played.
- Campaign Map A.I. no longer uses bombardment abilities from its ships and howitzer emplacements outside the playable area.
- Combat music no longer starts immediately after intro to the Pomigliano airfield mission.
- Companies requisitioned through a seaport now have the proper cost modifiers applied to their Heal and Repair abilities.
- Disabled the forward artillery ability in Salerno until the player gets access to a base.
- During campaign skirmishes, enemy squads no longer pick up supply caches at the start of the 'Recover Discarded Supplies' bonus objective.
- Enemy companies in the single player campaign now use recon abilities more consistently.
- Errant intel no longer plays before Corporal Conti's objective outline at the beginning of random encounter skirmishes in the Italian Campaign.
- Fixed a bug in the Italy campaign that caused the bombing run to fail after capturing 3 towns in the Volturno Line.
- Fixed a bug in which narrative lines in the Ice Cream event could play out of order.
- Fixed a narrative bug in the Winter Line mission where a line's audio was assigned to the wrong character.
- Fixed a narrative bug in the Operation Morning Glory mission where a line's audio was assigned to the wrong character.

- Fixed an issue on certain campaign missions where US Forces infantry were not properly displaying veterancy options.
- Fixed an issue where Paratroopers would get stuck in specific areas of Ortona.
- Fixed an issue where Partisan capture ability would sometimes not do anything
- Fixed an issue where the British Armoured Company Fuel Airdrop tooltip was incorrect when it was upgraded to drop 3 fuel crates and still referred to 2.
- Fixed an issue where the Destroying the Gun's objective in the Italy Campaign mission in Gela would not complete properly before ending the mission.
- Fixed an issue where units could have more movement points than their max movement points upon a new turn if they lost some supply on the previous turn
- Fixed an issue with certain bridges on River Crossing Rescue not allowing vehicles to cross properly.
- Fixed an issue with certain bridges where paratroopers would be unable to cross them after spawning on the wrong side.
- Fixed German Mechanized Company that retreated on the Campaign Map near Camino that would get stuck and become un-targetable.
- Fixed an issue that would make a company unusable if they were paradropped onto a destroyed town.
- Fixed an issue where C-47 transport aircraft that were spawned in airfields that were captured by companies with the Air Support trait weren't displaying in the airfield management page.
- Fixed an issue where planes were spawned hovering over Foggia if it was captured on the same turn as the objective to capture it was started.
- Fixed an issue where ships moved via the Transfer Seaports ability weren't able to move on following turns.
- Fixed an issue where the population cap was not increasing properly when picked as a reward for completing the southern foothold objective.
- Fixed an issue with the Campaign map torpedo ability when used from Carriers that allowed it to be used against enemy land units and friendly ships.
- Fixed lighting on battleships.
- Fixed Partisan support ability sometimes not being selectable in skirmish/mission
- Fixed post mission death animations for defending company playing on top of the initiating company
- German Companies can no longer heal within the first 10 turns unless they are near a Hospital or Triage Centre.

- In the Anzio mission in the Italy campaign, aircraft can now be used without being shot down if the Destroy AA Guns objective was previously completed.
- In the Enigma retrieval mission, added a small lump sum of manpower when the special aid station is captured to allow for limited reinforcements. The limited amount is to preserve a raiding party/commando fixed force feel that is smaller in scope than a typical skirmish or a larger scenario. A notification to the player is given when they get the resource.
- Italy Finale Mission - Fixed an issue that prevented description text from appearing on the Swap Company ability button.
- Navy Salvage and Repair abilities have been moved so they are no longer overlapped by other abilities
- Removed friendly fire damage from area of effect abilities like Barrage, Bombardment, and Bombing Run in the Campaign.
- Repair and Heal cost no longer increase on Save/Load
- Re-trimmed boundaries in Calabria prologue so mountainous regions are more reliably recognized as impassable terrain.
- Smoothed airplane turning for certain bombing run and supply run abilities.
- Some missions in the Italian campaign now only trigger once.
- The enemy territory that exists directly East of the player base in Gela now becomes player owned once the territory point to its north is captured by the player.
- The Foggia mission now correctly registers when intel has been destroyed.

| Hello, Tamers! The build for patch 1.4 has been sent out, which means that the platform holders for the consoles will review the build, and find any possible issues. Once they give us a green light, the patch is ready to be published on the the planned date, which for 1.4 is June 19th. Would you like to know more about what’s included in patch 1.4? Let’s go! A new Season With patch 1.4 comes Season 4: Splash up! Like you can probably guess, this is a Season filled with pool parties, beach sunsets, chill activities and summer fun. Splishity splash It’s a Season for splashing around and not fighting the current, but rather following it! There will be two events during this Season, one of them our first ever Pride event, that comes with some extra freebies, and another secret one later along the road, which will make the delight of players who love their Tems! Also, there’s a slight change to Seasons’ length from this patch onward: Seasons will now last a month longer. We’d like to have more time to polish the content we put out. Some features have gotten out of hand and were becoming too big to cleanly launch in three months, leaving us with no leeway to fix issues or quickly react to unforeseen circumstances. There’s always something popping up from behind us, be it bugs, failures in the certification process, unexpected interactions… so we’d like to have some time to polish both the current patch and previous patches that might need our attention, without that eating into the next Season and patch’s time. With this, Season 4 will last from June 19th to September 25th, when Season 5 will begin. The Arcade Bar has been postponed Some bad news, but we promise it’s only this one! Due to development load and unexpected delays, we’re postponing the Arcade Bar. It’s a huge task, both technically and artistically, so we’re waiting on a more suitable season. We understand this might make 1.4 less interesting for PvE players , but we try to balance PvE and PvP each season. Since last patch, 1.3, had the Challenge Modes, and 1.5 will have the new Mythical, with it’s Lair, quest and route, patch 1.4 is more PvP oriented. We’re, at the time, unable to confirm for which patch it’ll be scheduled, but we’re currently looking at 1.6 or 1.7, since 1.5 is packed. We’ll let you know as soon as we have that secured and well decided. Dojo Wars v2 Dojo Wars have long been a prickly topic within the community, so a few months ago we asked for your focused feedback on the matter. Following that conversation, we’ve made a handful of changes to Dojo Wars that we hope will make them a bit more enjoyable and less demanding to keep up with: Dojo Wars will now take place monthly instead of weekly. The sign-up period where players can subscribe to a Dojo War will be a week instead of a day, and it’ll be the week before the Dojo Wars take place. Clubs who sign up for a DW but don’t show up on the actual Wars will be penalized by taking Pansuns away from their Club Vault. The King of the Hill system that allowed current regents to only fight in the finals has been discarded. Regents will have to compete for the Dojo again from 0 with everyone else. Besides changes to the main format, there are also several more changes that concern Dojo Wars rounds: - The matchmaking system will now prioritize to battle different players in each round, instead of matching players purely based on points. If a player has already faced another specific player, the system will prioritize not matching them again over their points.
- The timing of rounds has changed as well. Instead of having a set date for all matches, rounds will start 5 minutes after the last combat of the previous round has ended. That is, once the last match of the round ends, a 5-minute timer sets off, and commences the next round. This means you’ll have to pay attention during the day of your rounds, but rounds will be much faster and dynamic.
- Dojo Wars finals will require 9 players instead of the previous 11.
- Players will now also get individual rewards for each match won during Dojo Wars, on top of the Club rewards they might get. Individual rewards include juicy stuff like ETCs, hotfixes, Feathers and even Novas.
Important notice! The first week of the patch would overlap with the first week of Dojo Wars, and with this new system it wouldn’t work. For this reason, there won’t be a Dojo War in the month of June, and the first Dojo War will be on the week of July 24-30. This means the last Club to hold the 1.3 Dojos on the week of June 12th to 18th will hold them for an entire month. They’d only get the rewards for the week they play, but they’ll keep control of Dojo Parks. Recommended teams on Showdown During this last patch cycle we’ve been considering how to make it easier for players new to PvP to jump into the competitive scene, as we consider PvP to be a really strong suit of Temtem, but we know how hard to fully grasp it can be. That’s why, working with the balance helper team and the new analytics we’ve been working on, we have created an automatic recommendation system and some pre-defined builds to choose from; both will surely help make the jump into Ranked ladder much easier and interesting. When you head over to Showdown to create a Ranked Showdown squad and choose your first Temtem, you’ll now be offered recommendations. The system will suggest Tem options as you go building your team, and it will shift and readjust its recommendations to accommodate the Tems you choose. The analytics that power this system drink from the actual PvP players of the game and what they’re building, so they’ll change and adapt to each Season. After picking each Tem you’ll be able to fully customize it, as usual, but there will also be two pre-defined builds for each Temtem (single evo, or the last stage of the evo line). These builds have been made to cover their most common roles in Ranked matches, and sometimes it’ll incorporate two different roles, or one same role in a different way. These builds were hand-made by our balance team, keeping in mind the current meta, so they’ll be updated as it changes! Both of these systems are fully integrated within Showdown, so it only works on Showdown squads. Of course, we encourage you to investigate on the reasoning behind these recommendations, as learning a new playstyle is complex and takes time but it’s the only way to know how to make it work. Changes to the rotating Premium Store The Premium, rotating store will now have 2 Premium item slots as opposed to 3. In exchange for this, we’ve duplicated the daily item rotation, from 4 to 8. As it already happens, 2 slots out of those 8 will be purchasable with Feathers, following the current pattern. We’ve noticed the 3 featured items were always unbalanced between each other, and that the rhythm was hard to sustain for both purchasing players and the dev team. We’re giving you more options on the daily, because soon the items from previous Tamer Passes will start population them and it’ll be a huge pool, and we’ll be spacing out the featured ones so we can have more time. We’ll still be working on them, and nothing has been scrapped out, it will only take a little longer to appear in the weekly featured shop. Plus! I was at the gym the other day and was approached by someone who said that they were a model scout. I've never been approached by a scout but I have been told to give modeling a try. I never looked into it until now. We talked and turns out this person used to be a photographer for an agency and would also develop/advise the models they worked with as they went on to become more successful and that they were an independent mother agency now. We had a meeting a few days after and they explained more of the industry to me. I even took some notes on the side. They said they would have me join their mother agency It went something like I get all the money I deserve and that they take a cut of whatever the agency that I'm with (in that territory) gets. So if I get say 90% and the agency I signed with gets 10%, they get half of what goes to the agency. They also explained flat rate percentages to me, but I do need more clarification on what that means as in the contract given to me, it says 33.3%. e. Sending invoices and statements to, and collecting compensation and expenses from, clients that engage
you to perform your Services.
- Exclusivity. You agree not to employ any representatives, managers or agents in the Territory during the Term
other than ---- concerning any aspect of your career or the performance of Services by you without our prior
consent. Further, you shall not accept any assignments, opportunities or agreements in the Territory for the
performance of your Services except those selected by ---- and will forward to ---- all inquiries and offers
made directly to you for your Services.
- Term. The initial term (the “Initial Term”) of this Agreement shall be for a three (3) year period commencing on
the date set forth above. The term of this Agreement shall automatically renew for successive one (1) year periods
unless you provide written notice to ---- at least ninety (90) days prior to the end of the Initial Term or any
successive period. In the event that this Agreement has been signed on your behalf by your parent and/or guardian,
you agree that the three-year term shall be automatically extended and shall run from the date of your eighteenth
(18th) birthday, unless you or your parent and/or guardian legal provide written notice to ---- within ninety (90)
days of turning eighteen. The Initial Term and any extensions thereof shall be referred to herein as the “Term”.
- Relationship of the Parties. Your relationship with ---- is that of an independent contractor, and nothing in
this Agreement is intended to, or should be construed to, create a partnership, agency, joint venture or employment
relationship. Accordingly, you shall be responsible for (a) your own expenses (unless paid by a client of your
Services), such as travel, lodging, entertaining, wardrobe and make-up, (b) preparing and filing your personal tax
returns and paying all taxes required to be paid, and (c) complying with all the governmental laws, rules and
regulations pertaining to your performance of Services, including, without limitation, obtaining any applicable visas.
Further, you acknowledge and agree that ---- is acting solely as your personal manager and Mother Agent, that
---- is not licensed as an employment agency under the General Business Law of the State of Washington or as
an “artists manager” under the Labor Code of the State of Washington. ---- does not control the terms and
conditions of your Modeling Services regardless of whether ---- negotiates your agreements regarding such
Modeling Services. To the extent any such supervision and control exists, such supervision and control relates solely
to any relationship between you and any of your clients or customers that engage you for the Modeling Services.
---- shall provide and make available advice regarding the terms and conditions of your Modeling Services to
your clients and customers. ---- will notify you of offers for Model’s Modeling Services that come to its
attention. All of your activities will be at your own risk and you are hereby given notice of your responsibility for
arrangements to guard against physical, financial and other risks, as appropriate.
- Authority as Exclusive Personal Manager and Mother Agent; Power of Attorney.
a. ---- is hereby authorized, as your exclusive personal manager and Mother Agent to act for you, and on
your behalf, during the Term with respect to: (i) negotiating, renegotiating, contracting and executing for
you and in your name and on your behalf any and all agreements, documents and instruments providing for
your Services to clients pursuant hereto, subject to your prior approval; (ii) approving and permitting the
use of your name, biography, image, voice, caricatures and the like for the purposes of advertising and
publicity, subject to your prior approval; (iii) invoicing, collecting and receiving sums payable to you,
endorsing your name upon and depositing in our account all checks payable to you, and retaining therefrom
all sums owing to ----; and (iv) demanding, suing for and collecting, all claims, money, interest and
other items that may be due to you or belong to you, and settling any and all such claims (which settlement
may be at par or below par).
b. You hereby authorize and appoint ---- to be your agent and attorney-in-fact for the purpose of set forth
in subparagraph (a) above. This appointment of ---- as your attorney-in-fact shall be irrevocable during
the Term and thereafter until you have rendered all Services contracted for during the Term and have
collected full payment for such Services.
c. Without limitation to any other rights grated to ---- hereunder, ---- shall have the right and license
to use your name, likeness, voice and any other personal attributes in and connection with the advertising,
promotion, and marketing of your Services, talents and activities related to your work, in any and all media
now and hereafter known.
- Compensation.

a. Except as set forth in subparagraphs (b and c) below, you agree to pay to ---- a fee (the “Regular Fee”)

Agreement if such Services were performed pursuant to any booking, engagement, license, or similar
agreement negotiated, solicited and/or accepted during the Term or pursuant to a renewal, option or
renegotiation (each, a “Renewal”) of any booking, engagement, license, or similar agreement initially
negotiated, solicited and/or accepted during the Term. “Gross Compensation” shall include compensation
from all sources, including salaries, license fees, other fees, earnings, royalties, residuals, proceeds,
buyouts, bonuses, prizes or other compensation received at any time pursuant to the performance of
Services by you. You hereby understand and agree that since ---- is you Mother Agent, it shall be
entitled to receive a fee for its Services as your mother agency, which fee shall be payable by other model
management or agency companies that you engage throughout the world at ----’s direction.
b. You agree to pay ---- thirty three point thirty three percent (33.33%) on all flat rate jobs where the
client’s agency commission is included in the model quote.
c. You agree to pay to ----, a franchised agent of SAG and AFTRA, a fee (the “Union Fee”, and, together
with the Regular Fee, the “Fee”) equal to ten percent (10%) of all Gross Compensation earned for the
performance of Services by you that are subject to the jurisdiction of the Screen Actors Guild (“SAG”), the
American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (“AFTRA”).
d. You understand that ---- is entitled to receive from any and all clients that engage your Services a
service charge, agency fee or other compensation (the “Client Fee”) over and above the fees set forth in
subparagraphs (a) and (b) above. You acknowledge that the Client Fee is an additional inducement for
---- to act on your behalf and you shall not have the right to, or interest in, the Client Fee. Further, you
understand that ---- maintains a network of relationships with agencies worldwide, including, without
limitation, with your mother agent. You acknowledge that, from time to time, ---- may be required to
pay such other agencies (including, without limitation, your Mother Agent) a commission and that ----
and such agencies may agree to divide the compensation
e. that you are required to pay ---- and such other agencies.
f. In consideration for the Services rendered by---- during the Term to develop and promote your career,
you agree that in the event you wish to cease being represented by ---- prior to the expiration of the
Term, and ---- agrees in writing to release you from your obligations contained herein, you shall cause
your new management company to pay to ---- an amount (the “Post-Term Fee”) equal to ten percent
(10%) of your Gross Compensation for the balance of the Term. If you do not cause such payment to be
made by your new ---- company, you shall be obligated to pay ---- the Post-Term Fee yourself.
Such Post-Term Fee shall not be paid with respect to Renewals, for which ---- shall be paid its fee in
accordance with subparagraphs (a), (b) and (c) above.
- Expenses; Advances. ---- may, in its sole discretion and from time to time, advance or loan money
(collectively, the “Advances”) to you in connection with your performance of Services, including, without
limitation, advances of compensation payable to you and expenses necessary to render your Services(e.g., publicity
and promotional costs, airfare and hotel expenses, rental expenses, messenger Services, language lessons and
shipping expenses). You authorize ---- to deduct any outstanding Advances from any Receivable (as defined
below) prior to remitting such amounts to you. If you receive compensation directly from a client or another source
with respect to the performance of your Services, you agree to immediately pay to ---- an amount equal to any
unpaid Advances. You agree and understand that ---- will not release any modeling materials in its possession
and you will not be permitted to commence representation by another model management company until you repay
any outstanding Advances or otherwise make provisions acceptable to ---- for the repayment of such Advances
by such new model ---- company.
- Collections, Statements & Accounting.
a. ---- shall use commercially reasonable efforts to collect all amounts (including, without limitation,
compensation and expenses) due to you from clients with respect to the performance of Services by you
(any and all amounts actually received by ---- shall be collectively referred to herein as, the
“Receivables”) pursuant to signed vouchers submitted by you to ----. ---- may, but shall not be
obligated to, commence legal proceedings or hire a collection agency to collect amounts due to you from
clients. In the event that ---- commences such proceedings or hires a collection agency, you shall bear
any and all related expenses and such amounts shall be deemed “Advances”. As set forth above, ----
shall have full authority to settle at or below par any and all disputes with clients on your behalf.

b. ---- will periodically provide to you an amount equal to the Receivables less any amounts owed to
----, including, without limitation, any Fees owed to ----, any and all unpaid Advances; any Client

pursuant to ----’s standard accounting procedures. In addition to such amount, ---- will provide
you with a statement of your account, including, amounts collected by ---- and any deductions
permitted pursuant to this Agreement.
c. In the event that you receive any payments directly from a client, you will remit any outstanding Fee,
Client Fee or Advance related to such client to ---- within seven (7) days of your receipt of such
payment.
- Expiration or Termination. Upon the expiration or termination of this Agreement, you shall immediately
reimburse ---- for any outstanding Advances or other expenditures made by ---- on your behalf; you shall
immediately remit to ---- any unpaid Fee. As long as any amounts owed by you to ---- are outstanding, you
shall cause any future agency or client to pay any amounts owed to you directly to ---- in settlement of such
debts.
a. ---- may terminate this agreement immediately upon notice if such termination is “for cause”. For
purposes of this Agreement, “for cause” shall mean (i) your material breach of this agreement, (ii) material
breach of any agreement with a third part related to your work. (iii) dishonesty in dealings with ----,
and/or (iv) willful violation of any law, rule, or regulation (other than traffic violations or similar offenses)
or any final cease and desist order. Any notice of termination hereunder shall be in writing.
- Suspension.
a. Your Services, the running of the Term and the payment of any compensation hereunder, shall be
automatically suspended without notice (and any subsequent dates herein specified thereby postponed),
upon the happening of a Default and/or Disability and defined below. Each suspension shall continue until
ended by ---- by written notice
b. to you and the Term shall resume upon delivery of such notice. No such suspension shall affect any of
----’s other rights hereunder.
c. “Default” shall mean any failure by you (other than by reason of Disability) to perform the Services.
d. “Disability” shall mean your inability to perform the Services because of your physical, mental or
emotional disability, illness, injury or death.
- Representations and Warranties. You represent and warrant that (i) you have the full authority and power to
enter into this Agreement; (ii) you are not subject or party to any oral or written agreement that would interfere with
----’s rights pursuant to, or your ability to perform and carry out, this Agreement, including, without limitation,
any agreements for employment or ---- Services; (iii) you have, or will acquire, any and all permissions and
approvals required by law to perform the Services; and (iv) any information you provided to ---- is true, correct
and complete.
- Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold ---- and its agents, employees, officer, directors,
members and representatives harmless (including attorneys’ fees) from and against any claims, liability, judgments
costs and expenses arising out of (i) your failure to fulfill your obligation hereunder or any engagements or
employment contracts obtained in connection with this Agreement; and/or (ii) any breach of any representation or
warranty
contained in this Agreement.
- Minor Provisions. If applicable, you acknowledge that it is your sole responsibility to obtain all necessary
governmental consents, permits and approvals required by state and federal laws and regulations for the
performance of Services hereunder by minors, including, without limitation, work permits, visas, and court
approvals where necessary. At your request, ---- will guide and counsel you with respect to obtaining such
consents, permits, visas and approvals.
- Damages, Remedies, Venue and Waivers. Your sole remedy against ---- for loss or damage arising out of
the performance or any non-performance under this Agreement shall be proven direct, actual damages. ---- shall
not be liable for any indirect, incidental, reliance, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of its
performance or non-performance under this Agreement, whether or not ---- had been advised of the possibility
of such damages. In the event of a breach of this Agreement, the non-breaching party shall give written notice to the
breaching party of the circumstances of the breach and shall provide, if feasible, at least 14 days within which the
alleged breaching party may cure such breach. Such notice, and any other notices pursuant to this Agreement, shall
be provided to ---- and Model at the respective addresses designated below.
a. In addition to the foregoing provisions regarding “Damages, Remedies,” either party may. at any time,
initiate a non-binding mediation procedure (of no longer than three (3) hours duration, unless agreed to the

contrary by the parties in writing), utilizing the Services of JAMS, Inc., to try to resolve any dispute
regarding the interpretation of, or the parties’ obligations under, this Agreement, it being understood and

their own attorneys’ fees and costs, and 3) that the other provisions herein regarding “Damages/Remedies”
are not obviated by this provision allowing for mediation.

My problem here is the part about social media. Regarding anything I do in entertainment such as instagram, tumblr etc. Also the fees as the wording is a little tough. I'm getting this contract reviewed by others but my mom thinks this is some sort of "Slave Drive Contract" which is used in the K-pop industry. I'm also 21 years old and being asked to model isn't new to me. The person who gave this to me does have a legitimate background in the modelling industry. They do seem new to being an independent manageagent but have shown me some proof of success.

Well, from those interacting me, you know that I'm a relatively staunch constitutional monarchist (with some patcon(?) leanings), a minority on this sub to say the least. I'm not gonna ignite that debate today. But the debate and differences DID give me interest on other hypothetical models of governance, seeing as this sub seems to have become more democratic (some might say, populist) over technocratic or meritocratic ideals in recent years. What are YOUR favourite alternate forms of governance?
Here's 2 of mine that gave me reason to think about democracy, one based on education and another on public service. Feel free to tear them apart as well, as these might be considered ontologically illiberal.

"The Curious Republic of Gondour" by Mark Twain presents a unique governmental structure. Initially, the nation tried universal suffrage, but it was discarded due to unsatisfactory results, as it seemed to deliver all power into the hands of the ignorant and non-tax-paying classes. The solution was not to limit suffrage but to expand it. The constitution gave every man a vote, which was a vested right and could not be taken away. However, it did not specify that certain individuals might not be given two votes, or ten.
An amendment was inserted that authorized the enlargement of suffrage in certain cases specified by statute. This led to a new law under which every citizen, regardless of their wealth or education, possessed one vote. However, a good common-school education gave a man two votes, a high-school education gave him four, and a university education entitled a man to nine votes. Property also played a role in the number of votes a person could have. For every fifty thousand 'sacos' a man added to his property, he was entitled to another vote.
This system created a sort of emulation, where a man was honored according to the number of votes he possessed. Votes based on capital were called "mortal" votes because they could be lost, while those based on learning were called "immortal" because they were permanent. This system almost eliminated gambling and speculation in the republic, as a man with great voting power could not afford to risk losing it.
The system also influenced social interactions, with people showing more respect to those with more votes. This spirit of emulation invaded all ranks, and it was common to hear people admiring men who had begun life on the lower levels and achieved great voting power.
The system also influenced the selection of officials. Competitive examinations were the rule in all official grades, and a candidate for office must have marked ability, education, and high character, or he stood no chance of election. The country was mainly governed by a ministry which went out with the administration that created it. The head of the government, the Grand Caliph, was elected for a term of twenty years and was liable to impeachment for misconduct.
The pardoning power was lodged in a court of pardons, consisting of several great judges. Education was also highly valued, with plenty of free schools and colleges. The amount of education a child acquired could make him powerful and honored, so parents were motivated to ensure their children were educated.
In summary, the governmental structure of Gondour was based on an expanded suffrage system where education and property determined the number of votes a person had. This system aimed to balance power between the educated and the wealthy, and it encouraged personal development and integrity.

We all know that Heinlein's Terran Federation of Starship Troopers is a shorthand for, if not directly fascism, it's inbred brother, nationalistic militarism. But let's discuss it anyway, which I found is rather close to the Pre-Caracalla Roman concepts of citizenship. It might be some personal spin, but I refer to it as a "qualified democracy" rather than a limited one.
In the Federation of Heinlein, there is a difference between the civilian (who I'll refer to as a national) and the citizen. However, a national is still able to participate in society, if not in governance - case in point, Juan Rico's family had a history of decades without Federal Service, but still ran a business. For national to be franchised into a citizen, they must participate in two years of Federal Service of their own free will.
In Heinlein's idea, when he rebutted the idea that when only veterans of military service have franchise in his hypothetical Federation: “Veteran” does not mean in English dictionaries or in this novel solely a person who has served in military forces. I concede that in commonest usage today it means a war veteran…but no one hesitates to speak of a veteran fireman or a veteran school teacher. In STARSHIP TROOPERS it is stated flatly and more than once that nineteen out of twenty veterans are not military veterans. Instead, 95% of voters are what we call today “former members of federal civil service.”
I'll let the novel speak its rationale for itself:
"Throughout history, men have laboured to place the sovereign franchise in hands that would guard it well and use it wisely, for the benefit of all. [...] Historic examples range from absolute monarch to utter anarchy; mankind has tried thousands of ways and many more have been proposed, some weird in the extreme [...] . But the intent has always been moralistic: to provide stable and benevolent government.
"All systems seek to achieve this by limiting franchise to those who are believed to have the wisdom to use it justly. I repeat 'systems’; even the so-called ‘unlimited democracies’ excluded from franchise not less than one-quarter of their populations by age, birth, poll tax, criminal record, or other."

Major Reid paused to touch the face of an old-fashioned watch, "reading" its hands. "The period is almost over and we have yet to determine the moral reason for our success in governing ourselves. Now continued success is never a matter of chance. Bear in mind that this is science, not wishful thinking; the universe is what it is, not what we want it to be.
To vote is to wield authority; it is the supreme authority from which all other authority derives — such as mine to make your lives miserable once a day. Force, if you will! [...] Whether it is exerted by ten men or by ten billion, political authority is force. But this universe consists of paired dualities. What is the converse of authority? Mr. Rico."

I know I shouldn’t have expected Portia to still be there, but I was still a bit disappointed and somewhat uncomfortable by the time we arrived at the Desert Rose in Kandota.
“She is not here,” Cailu said with a raised brow.
“Yeah, I know. I see that. Just, uh, give me a little bit to find her.”
“Perhaps she is on her ship,” Cailu continued.
“Let’s check there,” said Tristan, nodding. “This place probably lost its luster pretty quickly. If she’s not there, then we can split up and look for her.”
“Yes,” Cailu said, mirroring his nod, “a fine idea.”
Sure enough, Portia had stripped down to a black bikini as she sat on the edge of her sloop, fishing rod in hand, feet kicking in the wind. She’d grown awfully tan since the last time we saw her—well, more so than usual. Her skin glistened like bronze, beads of sweat littering her body. She adjusted the bottom piece of her bathing suit, exposing incredible tan lines.
Portia gasped and threw the fishing rod behind her before she shot to her feet. “About time you showed up! What in the heck were ya doing? You know how long I’ve been waiting here?”
“Yeah, I know, sorry—” I started.
“Uhh, buh-buh-buh-buh,” Portia interrupted with her index finger held up. “
No. No, boy. You listen to me. I am not your personal—” she suddenly stopped, her brow furrowing deeper. “And who… who are these other people?” She inhaled slowly, her eyes widening. “No. Don’t tell me. They’re not coming with us, are they?”
“They’re, uh… coming with us.”
“This boat will not be suitable,” Cailu said, his arms crossed.
“Oh, it’s you,” Portia said, hopping into the shallows. “One loss wasn’t enough for ya, huh?” Portia’s smile continued to tug at one end of her mouth. “Probably don’t even remember me.”
Caliu tilted his head in apparent thought. An expression of realization swept over him. “Ah, yes. You played a fine game of cards. Ages it has been since I was so thoroughly defeated.”
“Wanna go another game? My wallet’s feeling a little light,” she said, wading through the shallows and stepping onto the sand, her eyes digging daggers into me. “Ya know, since someone left me here ages ago and food ain’t free.”
I avoided her gaze.
“What was that you said when you left? ‘This won’t take as long as Shi Island.’ Are you kidding me?”
“Sorry, Portia. A lot of things came up.”
Portia sighed. “I’m sensing a pattern here.” Portia readjusted the strap of her top and put her hands on her hips. “I thought about packing up and leaving.”
“My sincerest apologies,” Tristan offered as he stood forward, a hand on his chest. “We would have contacted you sooner, but the task proved to be much more difficult than we thought it would be. Cailu here,” he gestured to the elf, “assisted us and made sure we saw it through.”
“Hey, okay, fine, cool it.” She looked at me once more. “Always with the eloquence, this one. Hey, you. Matt.” She pointed at me. “This is a sloop, not some grand ship employed by the Queen. We were struggling enough just to make room for yours and Tristan’s Parties.” She did a quick count, frowning deeper with each person she pointed at. “And you want to add three more?”
There’d be no easy way out of this, so I simply nodded my head.
“Yeah,” I said. “We would, uh, need to add three more people.”
Portia set her jaw. “I can’t believe I’m actually doing this. You owe me big, Matt.”
“
Mou ii. I’ve got you covered, Portia. For everyone.” Ravyn snatched a sizable bag of Bells from her pack and waved it in the air. “This should help the days we’ve been gone, too.”
Cailu raised a hand and started to say, “I will also—”
“No. You won’t.” Ravyn cut him off. “I’m done owing you shit.”
He stared at her thoughtfully but said nothing else.
Portia reached forward and grabbed the bag, sliding the leather cord to the side and sifting through the Bells. Taking a few out to examine their color and size, she nodded. “This doesn’t let you off the hook, Matt. Not yet.”
I sighed with relief. “Thanks, Portia.”
“Yeah, yeah. Just get on board.”
“Matt,” Cailu said as he set a hand on my shoulder. “May I have a word?”
Oh, great. What is it this time? “Yeah, sure.” He took me behind a nearby building and leaned against the wall. “What’s this about?”
“A sloop may not be appropriate for the journey to Nyarlothep. I would suggest we port on San Island and embark on a ship from there.”
“Why?”
He frowned. “The tides and Encroachers are vicious, Matt. There is always the potential for a Defiled attack. Portia’s abilities aside, it puts our Parties at great risk. A stronger escort is necessary.”
“Are you sure about that?” I rested my shoulder against the wall opposite. I was grateful for his advice, but what had started as personal advice was starting to sound more like my dad was trying to control the whole ride there.
Don’t make me turn this boat around. Frankly, I was getting sick of it.
“Yes. Portia has the right of it. Such a vessel is unfit for an alliance of our size. We risk capsizing the sloop or worse with our numbers.” He glanced around the corner of the building before looking back at me. “I understand if you are attached to Portia. But I must stress the importance of our mission.”
“Right.” I couldn’t stand what I was hearing, but I couldn’t fault him either. If the waters were even half as dangerous as Keke and every other catgirl had told me it was, then his warning of an attack was valid. If that happened, combat on the sloop would be dangerous. I didn’t need any nautical training to know that. “So then, what, you want me to say goodbye to Portia, too?” I regretted the words as soon as they left my mouth.
“Is that what this is about?” Cailu stood away from the wall, straight-backed and imposing in his [Paladin] armor.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean that. Yeah. I know you’re right.” Ceres’s words echoed in my head.
Pride tarnishes even the finest of heroes, Kelmer. “So, San Island, then?”
Cailu drew a long breath. He looked like he wanted to say something but abstained. “Allow me to speak with Portia for a time.”
“Why?”
“If she has gained your trust, then I would have her with us when we collect the ship.”
My heart soared. “So, she would be a hand on the deck?”
Did I use that term right? “Aye, that is correct.”
I couldn’t hide my relief. “Then, yeah. Go ahead.”
Cailu nodded and returned to the group. I followed close behind, curious as to what he was about to do. When we returned, Ceres was asking Portia questions about her time away.
“Portia,” Cailu stated.
Ceres stopped mid-sentence and backed away with a bow.
Portia frowned. “What?”
“Matt has informed me that you have been the one to escort him and Tristan around Nyarlea. Is that correct?”
“And the girls. Don’t forget them,” I added.
“I did not.”
Portia smiled. “Yeah, that’s me.”
“Do you have experience on larger ships?”
“Quiz me. I won’t get a single question wrong. My dad was the best there was.” She chuckled. “Named my sloop after him, in fact.”
Cailu rubbed the stubble of his chin with his pointer and thumb fingers. “I have expressed to Matt that a sloop is unsuitable for the journey to Nyarlothep, considering our numbers.”
“Nyarlothep?” Portia’s eyes narrowed in irritation. “Matt, you could’ve led with that.”
“I will ask this. Is this sloop suitable for the journey?”
“No,” Portia said without hesitation. Cailu glanced at me while Portia continued. “If that’s where you need to go next, Matt, then you’re going to need a full-blown ship for that. Especially if you still want to bring everyone here along.”
“So, we have to part with Portia?” Cannoli said, her voice thin.
“Sorry, all,” Portia shrugged. “I can take you somewhere else if you want, but even so, taking this many people on a sloop makes me uncomfortable.”
“How tragic,” Kirti mused.
“Quiet,” Cannoli hissed.
Cailu sighed. “Matt trusts you, and you have managed to escort him to each island on a sloop. So I would like to offer you a position on one of my ships,” he said. As Portia opened her mouth, Cailu interrupted with his hand up. “It would be temporary. You would not be under any obligation to stay on board once we have been delivered to Nyarlothep. Your sloop would be taken care of during the journey.”
“A real ship, huh?” Portia wore a complicated expression. I thought I saw sadness, confusion, anger, and frustration in the way she worked her jaw and wrinkled her nose. “Yeah. Fine.” She extended her hand. “It’s a deal.”
Cailu reciprocated and shook her hand. “We have an accord.”
Once everyone was on board, we set sail for San Island. There was barely any room to stand, let alone walk.
I stood behind Portia for a while. She was quieter than usual, and while I knew it was probably none of my business, I still wanted to know what was going on in her head.
“Hey, you doing okay?” I asked.
Portia took her time to respond. “Yeah. I’m fine.” Her eyes were on the ocean, but her mind seemed to be somewhere else. “Pops always promised to take me on a galleon one day. Just wish he could be here for it.”
“Did he teach you much about them?”
“About as much as a man without a lick of artistic talent could show me.” Portia laughed. “We’ll see what I remember.”
“You can teach this guy without any artistic talent what you learned. I’ll be right here, struggling to keep my balance.”
Portia laughed. “Thanks, Matt. You’re a good guy.”
The rest of the voyage was smooth. We shared the story of Ichi Island with Portia, and with time, she returned to her usual scrappy self.
Two days later when the sun was setting, we arrived on San Island, my back screaming in pain. I longed for a good night’s rest in a comfortable bed with a few good drinks in my belly. We’d taken turns in the one extra cabin, earning about two hours worth of a nap each. I was too afraid of falling off the boat to sleep otherwise. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one, as there was a collection of yawns as we stepped out onto the Port of Meow.
“Gosh, feels like ages since I’ve been here,” I said.
“Nostalgic, huh?” Keke said, taking to my side.
I thought back to the fight we had right before stepping onto the port. We were bloodied from the battle with the fishcats. At the time, Cannoli looked like she’d seen a ghost. Now, well…
Yeah, I’ll just agree. Probably not a great memory to revisit— “Ye—”
“You mean when we were caked in blood?” Ravyn asked, half-laughing. “Very nostalgic.”
Why is she like this? Cailu offered praise and smiles to the girls who approached us en masse upon our arrival. It was wild seeing him swap personalities in seconds. Words that sounded almost disgustingly charming came out of his mouth, his sour demeanor returning within seconds of their departure.
I still couldn’t stand this guy.
Cailu led us around the port’s lip. We passed by several merchant vessels, a wide variety of catgirls unloading crates from the neighboring ships. Unlike the ones earlier, these girls didn’t seem to care one way or the other about Cailu, Tristan, and myself.
“There,” Cailu said without stopping. “That is my ship.”
‘Large’ couldn’t even begin to describe this boat. It looked straight out of a pirate movie. Flags of white with the same emblem Cailu wore upon his breastplate fluttered in the wind. The wood was dark and suspiciously clean for a piece of wood that sank in the salty water all day. I didn’t have the words to describe what a gargantuan and beautiful piece of craftsmanship it was.
“What is that called?” I asked, pointing at the center flag.
“Oh, that’s—” Portia started.
“That—” Ceres interrupted.
The two apologized in unison.
“I forgot you liked ships, Ceres,” Portia noted.
“Yes, I adore them. As a kitten, I learned to build ships in bottles.” Ceres tapped the tips of her fingers together. “It was something of an obsession of mine.”
“Why don’t you tell Matt what that’s called, then?” Portia smiled.
“The main mast!” she proclaimed proudly. “The one behind it is the mizzen mast, and the last one is—” She stopped and smiled wide. “I shall give Sir Matt a hint.”
Oh boy, here we go. Ceres’s boots clicked against the stones as she moved to stand in front of me, her hands behind her. “What precedes the word ‘after’?”
Picture of elegance, this one. Okay, uh, let’s see. “Before?” I cringed.
“Yes!” She turned and pointed to the mast once more. “Therefore, the mast at the front is called…”
“The… before mast?”
Portia put a hand to her mouth and snickered. “Close.”
I buried my face in my hand. “Just tell me.”
“The foremast!” Ceres said.
“You know your stuff, Ceres,” Portia said, smiling.
Cailu cleared his throat and stood before us. “Once I give the word, we will depart by sunrise tomorrow.”
“
Hah?” Ravyn balked. “Can’t we just sleep in for one fucking day?”
My legs were killing me, so I raised my hand. “I second that.”
To my relief, Tristan also raised his hand. “Please. I am exhausted. I’d love to spend a day on San Island, anyway.”
One by one, we all raised our hands. Even Kirti.
Cailu sighed. “Fine. We shall rest for two days.”
“Two days?” I asked.

Rachelle Mirage struts the runway wearing a pantsuit in orange and red.

“Welcome to Drag Race.”
Rachelle smiles.
“Ms Michaels, how you doing?”
“I’m fabulous baby.” Floss grins. “How YOU doing?”
“Amazing. Let’s kick out Chronologica!” Rachelle cackles.
Floss winks.
“Tanvi Lioness, are you ready to see these comedians shine?”
“It’s time for them to exit the house.” Tanvi smirks.
“For our Challenge, our racers were tasked with competing in the BIG MOTHER improv challenge!”
“And on the runway, they’ll be wearing Red Velvet looks.”
“It’s TIME!”

“Category is… Red Velvet!”
Crayola Boxx struts out in a red ball gown, uttering the shape of a cake. She’s got a big, swirly skirt, and she spins around and around, with little bits of ‘frosting’ spurting out of the stage. She’s got a big red updo and a smile on her face.
“Not the spurting.” Floss looks around awkwardly.
“It reminds me of what you used to-” Rachelle stops after looking at Floss’ rageful face.
Aguacate struts out in a full ball gown, with multiple layers of luscious red velvet cake. She twirls down the runway, revealing a big slice has been taken right out of her backside, exposing the real cake, which is completely bare. Aguacate takes a lick of her delicious frosting, and licks her fingers clean!
“Oh… Aguacate did it so much better than Crayola.” Tanvi whispers to Rachelle.
Wearing a surprisingly high-fashion number, Jaslene Bangus walks down the runway. Her hair is dark and slicked back into a high pony. The outfit itself, however, is a two-piece suit made entirely out of red velvet. The collar and front of the suit jacket is made to resemble the red curtains of a theater. As she walks, her face showcases class and poise.
“Thank God it’s not another cake look.” Rachelle says.
Zazu Nova arrives in a Lightning Mcqueen inspired form-fitting red velvet catsuit, hugging the her curves, with black accents in the form of lightning bolts paying homage to Lightning McQueen's design, and red velvet jacket with racing patches adding an edgy and rebellious vibe to the look as she struts with a smile.
“Vroom Vroom.” Floss smiles.
Granny Gorgeous enters the stage in a red velvet cape, a huge one that covers her entire body and makes her frame not so visible. With a long red wig, Granny is serving caftan velvet realness with a smirk.
“Oh, she’s giving Granny.” Tanvi smirks.
Fiore Stravaganza shines in a sleek velvet dress that hugs her body tight. She’s got a massive red headdress, made of the same red velvet material, replacing a wig like Fiore would normally rock. Her face is expressively painted, and Fiore looks like a star.
“Gorgeous.” Rachelle smiles.
Yasmin Raiz oozes sex appeal, strutting the runway in a deep red velvet bodycon dress that hangs low off her shoulders, with a little cream flower pin on her bosom. She wears sheer cream nylon gloves with a small ruffled bow at the wrist, a perfectly coiffed cream-blonde wig, small deep red glasses with flower-shaped frames, and carries a cream fur coat, as if she doesn’t even need the reveal.
“Delicious.” Floss winks.
King Omari Star stuns as he enters the stage in a red velvet kilt, with an asymmetrical shirt that has a matching long, flowy cape along with it. He’s got a massive pair of red platform boots, and as he walks, he gives every inch of royalty with a smirk.
“He loves a cape.” Rachelle chuckles.

“Hi Racers.” Rachelle purses her lips. “Nobody is safe.”
“First up… Yasmin.”
Yasmin smiles.
“You really have a soulful vibe, and I enjoy it.” Tanvi nods. “You hit the marks comedically, you enjoyed yourself and I was really quite pleased to see it.”
“Thank you!” Yasmin grins.
“It was a real fun time, and I do think you really were one of the highlights to see. Solid work, girl.” Rachelle smiles, “You have been consistent these past couple of weeks, and you only leave me wanting a little bit more, and I must say that I do think this look is a good switch for you. “I think we know.” Rachelle says.

“This wasn’t quite the best performance. Well, you stumbled. I wanted to see you do well, but unfortunately- it wasn’t quite enough, and I’m going to need you to fight for this.”
“I do want to do this.” Zazu purses her lips. “For me, I feel challenged here. But I will always take every single critique and fight for the crown.”
“That is what I need.” Rachelle looks at Zazu. “Keep it going.”
Zazu nods in agreement.
“Omari.”
Omari adjusts his cape.
“You have a royal presence to you.” Tanvi says.
“King Omari Star.” Omari smirks. “Is my full name.”
“I can see it.” Tanvi responds. “I think you had a good balance of funny and real. I enjoyed you this week.”
Omari smiles.
“I wanted you to push yourself out of your comfort zone this week, and you did. And for that I have to commend you” Rachelle responds. “Well done.”

“I am loving this look.” Rachelle looks at Granny. “It’s giving- a bit generic, but also- I do feel like you’re reinforcing that idea said a few weeks ago- I am seeing a lack of brand.”

“I want you to get dirty this week, but you did not.” Rachelle says. “And I'm going to need you to further think on what your drag is- what you bring. Because again- at this point, that’s really important.”

“Racers, before we deliberate… I have a question to ask.”

“Who should go home tonight and why? Starting with… Crayola.”

The others look surprised.

“Zazu.” Aguacate says. “Ms Boxx at least has two wins. This is what, her… 4th time in the bottom 3?” Aguacate laughs.

“I do agree, Zazu.” Granny sighs. “Sadly, at this point, she is not delivering as consistently as the others.”

I was just stating m ytruth, what I have been seeing these past few weeks- If you can't handle a little critique, maybe you're not cut out for this competition. Fiore Stravaganza: “Real talk, I said her name because simply put, at this point, I feel the AE girls have been holding me back. I need my brand focused on me.” Jaslene's trembles. Crayola pauses, and looks down. "I don't know, guys. I'm just... I'm really struggling right now. I feel like I'm not good enough, like I don't belong here. And seeing myself disappoint week after week, it's really taking a toll on me."

Yasmin puts a hand on Crayola’s shoulder. "Hey, hey, none of that talk, okay? You are talented, Crayola, and you absolutely belong here. We all have our off weeks, but that doesn't define who we are as queens. You have so much more to offer, and I believe in you."
“I just wish you didn’t say your own name.” Omari says.

Jaslene looks as if she is ready to scream, as Omari raises his hand in between them. “Let’s not.”
“I just..” Jaslene rolls her eyes. “Whatever.” Jaslene walks off.
“Beef.” Aguacate giggles.
“...Can I ask, what is going on Fiore?” Omari asks. “Like, there’s this switch..”
“There’s no switch.” Fiore responds quickly, looking at Omari. “I’ve always been competitive here, and clearly you haven’t been paying attention.”
Omari rolls his eyes. “Alright.”
“How is everyone else?” Granny asks.
“I am disappointed to be in the bottom again, but girl- I love to perform.” Zazu puts in an earphone. “So, I'm going to give my all.”
Zazu Nova: “A stage is where I shine. That- I am not scared of.” Zazu grins. “For me, it’s-” Crayola sighs.
Crayola pauses, and looks down. "I don't know, guys. I'm just... I'm really struggling right now. I feel like I'm not good enough, like I don't belong here. And seeing myself disappoint week after week, it's really taking a toll on me."
“You won last week, girl.” Fiore adds.
Yasmin puts a hand on Crayola’s shoulder. "Hey, hey, none of that talk, okay? You are talented, Crayola, and you absolutely belong here. We all have our off weeks, but that doesn't define who we are as queens. You have so much more to offer, and I believe in you."
“I just wish you didn’t say your own name.” Omari says.
King Omari Star: “I would never say my own name. I will always fight. And Crayola… it is a strange response.” Crayola looks up at Yasmin, tearing up. "Thank you, Yasmin. I'm just scared of going home, you know? I don't want to let myself down or let anyone else down."
Yasmin pulls Crayola into a warm hug. "I understand that fear, but remember, this is just a moment in our journey. It doesn't define our worth or our future. We've come so far, and we're all here to support each other. You are loved and valued, Crayola."

So... I made it at last, my first Ultra Ending. Raven Dark Elven Paladin, Starting C and finishing L+.
It was the first time I was trying an Ultra (well, after a few recent early fails due to carelessness). All in all, I didn't find it much harder than a Normal Ending : Having to stay C at the start of the game has some drawbacks, of course, like encountering hostile dwarves (I did the Rolf quest, too), but all in all, game difficulty is about the same. There are more quests to do and more things to plan, though, and I really enjoyed that (in a sense, it was like playing a new game).
The reason for Raven DE Paladin and L+ Ultra is that it's probably the easiest possible Ultra (or at the very least close to it) : Raven ensures that you get the Rune Covered Trident early, which in turn guarantees that you can start training Polearms and Thrown Spears early. DE Paladins have good survivability early on, and are beasts when it comes to melee *and* magic by the late game.
Starting attributes (unadjusted) were : St 15 / Le 4 / Wp 17 / De 14 / To 15 / Ch 1 / Ap 4 / Ma 17 / Pe 16
Le 4 allows to get the Potion of Litteracy, which was fed to the Demented Ratling. Pe 16 is enough to reach 20 after the bonuses are taken into account (+2 from job +Alert).
Early game was killing a Mugger, locating the stairs and getting the Blanket in the SMC (in the hopes of getting some loot, which didn't happen), getting the Pickpocket skill, then DD (went to DD8 to generate the Druid, but didn't fight him), Moldy Dungeon (to get the Tome of Donors), and finally the Caverns of Chaos.
I was extremely lucky to find a Surge of Power on D5, which turned out to be nothing less than the Bracers of War.
Then it was classical midgame stuff (herbs, Dwarftown, midgame locations). The Demented Ratling was fed : the Black Torc, the Potion of Litteracy, the Cornupia, the Ancient Mummy Wrapping (I had no use for it since I had the RCT and the Bracers of War), The Sword of Nonnak (same) and the Tome of Donors (I could have kept it, but I wanted to get crowned L+ asap). Gaab'Baay's quests went fast (I had found most of the needed stuff, and the second boar I encountered dropped a skull). Got crowned L+ at level 18, using the Borderland Settlement altar, and received Fire Immunity + Hammer of the Gods (which I never used). I already had Cold Immunity from the RCT, Acid Immunity from a lucky early Giant Slug, and Shock Immunity from blessing then eating numerous Lightning Lizards.
The Greater Vault in the FGJC was a one with 10 Great Red Wyrms. Needless to say, I didn't try to clear the center room at level 20.
Got a Ring of Djinni Summoning in the Rift, which I used to save Khelly. That's the only RoDS that I found during that playthrough.
While I was on my way to the CoC Great Vault, I found a tension room full of Balors. Since fighting 2 of them in a corridor wasn't particularly frightening, I could cast Slow Monster on myself and got quite a few levels.
Then, the guaranteed CoC Great Vault was one with Giants, which posed no threat by that stage. Got Far Slayer (the +18 +18 crossbow).
After that, I went back to the FGJC Great Vault, and blasted the Wyrms with Freezing Fury (the clerical version of Ice Ball) + Slow Monster cast on myself. Got quite a few levels there (something like from 42 to 49 iirc). The loot was underwhelming : Tome of Alsophocus, Staff of Wonder, bleh ! However, this removed the need to farm experience to reach level 45, which was nice.
Finished Rolf quest at that point. Received the Gleaming Shield just in time to use it (along with one phase dagger) against the Emperor Moloch. Considering how sturdy and fast my character was, it was only a matter of hit and run tactics (and escaping the level asap once I got the Crumpled Scroll).
Then the Blue Dragon Caves (got very lucky there with a Wand of Wishing (3 charges) + Helm of the Night Watchman + Staff of Purification), and finally the Merchants Guild. Found the Shirt of the Saints + Stone of Ages (not bad) + 11M gold (that turned into +3 Wp with the help of Garth).
After that, I killed Keriax (I'm not even sure he saw me), wasted some time raising attributes to the 60s (by dipping various stacks of 9x2s potions in blessed potions of Exchange), read a few spellbooks (just in case, really) and finally went for the deep dive.
I had some fun clearing D:50 using almost exclusively Wp 99 Rain of Sorrow (Acid Ball). Then drank all boosting potions, equiped the trinity and entered the portal.
Andor Drakon was killed using the RCT as a missile weapon. It took 37 shots (of which 17 missed) to kill him, and during that time he really didn't do much : One summoning spell (one zap from a wand of fireballs and the summons were gone), one darkness spell (no effect, since I was wearing the Helm of the Night Watchman), one attack spell, and one step towards me. Oh, and I forgot : he also did a great introductory speech ! Having drunk 12 blessed potions of Boost Speed before steping into the portal is certainly the decisive factor that turned a potentially hard fight into a very easy one.
Some random thoughts :
- The Farsight spell is awesome : it vastly boosts your vision range. Probably a quite rare spellbook, since I only found one.
- For some reason, that character only scored 10M points, while I had a character that did a Normal Ending score 12M points recently. I was quite surprised : I would have thought that an Ultra Ending would have beaten any Normal Ending.
- Provided you buy all potions from the Borderland Settlement whenever you have a chance, you should end up with enough potions of Exchange and enough stacks of useless 2s potions to do some serious potion dipping. Even better if you have the Potion Belt (which I didn't have) or at the very least Moon Sickle (to turn any useless 4s potion into another useless, but lighter, potion). Sadly, I had sacrificed Moon Sickle, so I had to make do with what I had. Nonetheless, I could get quite a few POGAs that way.
- I still had a few items destroyed in the Blue Dragon Caves, although I had 3 immunities (Lightning Lizard + TotRR + Blue Dragon Scale Mail) and 2 resistances (Ring of the High Kings, Gauntlets of Elemental Mastery). Still, if you leave any precious stuff before entering, the item destruction is very manageable.
- Talking about item destruction : only the half of the level where the Air Temple is located seems to be "dangerous" when it comes to item destruction. The other half seems to be completely safe, at least I never had a single item destroyed there.
- The bonuses from eating some Chaos corpses are nice, but nothing compared to what you can get from potion dipping.

2023.06.05 23:05 reckless_avacado Paladin getting burn isn’t a bad thing
For a class whose perpetual class identity has been “just remove their board and they lose” getting some meaningful burn damage is not a bad thing. Paladin will get a nerf soon I think but removing the burn potential shouldn’t be the number 1 goal. Any class being given an extra dimension to its archetype makes the game more diverse and interesting. Its easy to pinpoint the horn of the windlord as a problem card, but it’s not an otk. Pure pala as a deck is a streamlined package and the nerfs will have to be done well in order not to kill the deck. Options:
- nerf the weapon. Likely it just gets cut and people go back to playing pre mini set lists. Boring as then the deck gets no new cards, but those calling for nerfs are happy. Pure is paladins only playable deck so this would also likely kill its play rate until next expansion.
- nerf the early game. Eg boogie down, disco maul. Pure pala relies on controlling the board early and getting in significant damage before turn 5/6. Nerfing the strength of the early game makes the deck significantly weaker.
- nerf key cards like puranator, countess. Countess invitations back to three would be a lighter nerf to the deck. When countess was first released it was a meme card. It was because of all the strong pure support that it became playable. Puranator to 6 would be another potential light nerf.
- nerf support cards. Light rays have already been nerfed. Class action lawyer, for quelthalas, feast and famine would be “nerfing around the problem” but would push the winrate down.
I don’t think it would take much to completely kill this deck. Also I don’t think it would be hard to just nudge it down a few percentage points and let people keep having fun with new cards. Balance patches have been pretty good lately so let’s see. Thoughts?

You may have seen us in the Aether data center's party finder during our weekly events, or may have seen our recruitment shouts around the realm in-game in Midgardsormr, but there just isn't enough space in those places to really explain everything wonderful about what our Free Company and community is.
Azure Infinitum is an LGBTQ+ friendly community, and welcomes players of all experience level, play style, and availability. We're a warm home with a balance of online players, weekly optional activities, and flexible ranks from our membership, to our support & leadership categories. We have a 24/7 Support Team, a Councilship that governs each tier, seasonal events of our own, and many resources between the games we support and online services.

We are an established 9-year old community who's home is in Midgardsormr Server of Final Fantasy XIV. Azure Infinitum means "Azure/Blue Infinity or Infinite Blue/Azure" and there is some mythos behind the name that stems from our guild-wide philosophy of kindness, freedom, vigilance, diversity and activity. We promote positive fellowship among members in an organized guild, with our sights open to our unending endless skies, full of possibility and success together.
Our motto is "As Free As The Azure Sky!" which stuck well when our FC was restructured from an old guild in 2014 as Azure was founded, and it was first shouted as we looked out at a clear blue sky above. has continued to be our electric victory as we continue to snowball in success and activity, our members soaring high through the Azure Sky, flying together!

Our community has an organized ranking structure beginning with Members who comprise the majority of the roster. Scouts are our support team of Members who've stepped up to more officially support the FC, some work on obtaining a future leadership rank. Lieutenants and Officers comprise the proud Azure Council, a diverse group of players of different specialties and services to the FC, making up lower and higher tier leadership, seeing over the Scouts and the FC weekly events, aside from being admins. The FC Infinitum Master oversees all and leads the Azure Council and the company forward while always keeping the heart and vision of the community alive and in sight. Currently we are re-assessing ranks in the free company, giving more support permissions and duties to our Scouts, while the current council operates as a small team of Lieutenants lead by the FC Master.
Everyone Welcome and Who Fits Best
We have an open door policy. Whether you're casual, a returning player, a veteran, or a newbie, we have a vast array of players in our member roster. Our weekly schedule is organized and provides an array of activity for players of most levels, however we like to ask players who're pretty new or under the level cap, to be extra vocal about their needs while they're still unable to attend some daily events or higher level content that most of our weekly lineup focuses on. We want everyone to have as much fun as possible and have the most success. We find that most players enjoy Azure Infinitum, many have stated that they subscribed to FFXIV much longer than they ever would have imagined after they have been around in our community, as they've gotten involved and experienced all that we offer.
Our FC keeps a daily schedule (see here: https://www.azureinfinitum.com/events/) of events that are hosted by permitted Scouts and Council ranks, these range from 8-man and 24-man raids and map parties, to WT journal groups and trial clear parties or farms, and more- and attending anything isn't mandatory at all here. We're happy to have you, and its up to our members how much they'd like to get involved. Attendance is optional! There's never any stress to attend FC functions.
Savage Raiding Statement
We find that some hardcore raiders looking for free companies just to join their statics who don't already have one, might not fit well if savage raiding is their only or greatest focus, because traditionally Azure does not have a Savage Static, but focuses more on allowing members to organize their own groups and also provides resources to do so. Despite not supporting an official static for the FC, we hope that hardcore raiders enjoy the wealth of our community's wealth of harmony and overall fun, and that everyone may take initiative to seek out or build a raiding static within our community if they are interested, as opposed to missing out on experiencing Azure. Depending on the content season, we may have an Unofficial static lead by a leader, and routinely offer limited time Savage-learning events that may run for a number of months.
Rules and No Drama Policy
Please take a moment to look over our Rules Page at (https://www.azureinfinitum.com/rules/), we find that rude individuals and people who create drama are the outsiders here that don't fit well. We know its a big page, so at least visit the General Rules section before joining.
Recruitment Care & Activity
People of Azure Infinitum are often if not always good natured players who found their way to our community looking for a place with structure, friendliness, organization, and great activity, or they've been scouted during recruitment drives and have been well screened. Its a place where one can be social and attend everything, or relax in the background and enjoy the services and facilities of being in an active, organized, and friendly FC. We actively recruit periodically to assist with upkeep of community activity levels, and to meet new comrades. A community that closes recruitment can be doomed to stagnation. Its normal for a community to have an inner core of die hards who log in daily regardless of content releases, and also have an outer core of individuals that range from those with less availability to those who check in during Patches. This is why we take extra care in keeping the fresh blood flowing into Azure, cautious recruitment, and support our active model by always staying welcoming and sometimes running recruitment campaigns and other services. Like this ad!
Handling Online Drama
Because we keep a no-drama policy and have a strong communication network, it is leadership's ultimate priority to handle any issues that may come up as soon as possible, and most people appreciate our problem solving which has inspired many other communities. Between our Support & Leadership ranks, we use a number of report and resource channels to handle situations, and perform problem solving protocols & tactics to fairly address issues as possible. Drama is inevitable at some point for any online community, so its important to have a large and strong list of moderators (currently around 60!) and a council of leaders (15+) to quickly handle any problems. Luckily, we don't have a lot of drama, but we're always very well equipped and very prepared. Our community has been commended by game staff in the past for our methods, and we have worked with the FFXIV Special Task Force to ensure as much safety to our community as achievable. It should be stressed that it is up to our membership to report to GM's in-game, and to Azure Leadership should any issues or concerns come up. Its also highly recommended that our members appropriately document evidence that can be used to help us assess situations and make proper decisions. Documenation such as screenshots of harassment is a great example! Our members online safety is greatly important to us and is a number one concern of our leadership team. Founding on the principles of intricately forging a generally drama-free experience with keen leadership and a zealous and mighty membership, Azure has striven to guide and support many hundreds of players through every era of Final Fantasy XIV.

Estate Organization
We have the entire set-up at our estate, from gardens for members and Krakka Root production (free for members' chocobos), to our stables, nicely uniform clean lawn with hangout spots that are popular, with crafting stations, all available NPCs for simple mats and repairs, cut-scene viewer, toybox, triple-triad board, a fully operational and geared fleet of airships and subs, and our Azure Infinitum Assembly Chamber on the top floor for our meetings where announcements are made at our Grand Assemblies. We also have an organized form of gathering for weekly events in the yard, places to relax, food that is always available on tables at our Cellar, and hold a lot of special events and social games at our Hall. We're also conveniently located next to a Market Board and a Retainer Bell outside of our estate.
Communication and Extended Azure Services
We have multiple services of which none are mandatory, but we provide being (azureinfinitum.com) where our Forums, Event Calendar, News, Company Meeting Summaries, Seasonal Merch Giveaways, Contests, Rules Page, and more take place and can be found. We also have a popular and active Discord Server.

Also worthy of mention is our big Company Meetings in-game, known as Azure Infinitum Grand Assemblies. Even though we have several avenues that keep people connected, our live assemblies gather the FC in unity where announcements are made first, and all proposals, ideas, and more, can be decided together live with the Azure Council present.
This network ensures a lot of information and communication gets around and has been exceedingly useful to us.
More On Events
One part of our reputation that often precedes us is our event crafting and hosting.
First, let me make sure its clear that attendance is never mandatory, but those who can make use, when possible, of what we provide each day, benefit from our events each week.
Since our beginning, traditions like our Thursday Treasure Thursdays events have run each week. Our weekly line-up presently begins on Tuesdays post-weekly reset, and consists of Raid Tuesdays, Wondrous Wednesdays (WT Journal Parties, often doubles as Trial Clears and Pony Drops), Treasure Thursdays (Endwalker's timeworn maps with groups of 8 doing up to 3 rounds of maps allowing for up to 24 maps ran), 24-Man Tuesdays (full pre-formed Azure 24-member alliances are made and raids are cleared, will be returning upon the release of EW's 24-man), Super Azure Slayer Sunday (our weekly meetup to do all sorts of PVP content be it Rival Wings or Frontline), and Monstrous Mondays (helps clear the current and previous patch extreme trials).

We also have what we call Special and Quarterly Events. These types of events are Weekend-Long-Events that usually consist of a theme or celebratory social events we craft. During these events we hold big Riddle Races, Costume/Glamour shows and contests, 3-Story Mansion Maze Races, Speedrun Dungeon Races, Hide and Seek games, Custom Quest Events, Discord events like Cards Against Humanity nights, Comedy events, PVP Tournament Circuits, and more.
Our Special and Quarterly events are Azure Day Weekend (Takes place 3 times a year across a weekend, celebrates the FC), Azure Summer Festival (3-days at the end of August in partnership with Child's Play, raises money for children in long-term care, anniversary of historic FC event called the Lunar Rebellion), Anniversary Azure Day (a big weekend event in November that celebrates our Founding), Azure Day Saint's Wake (celebrates Halloween/All Saint's Wake), Azure Starlight Day (celebrating Starlight Day/Christmas/December Holiday Season), Azure Grand Melee and Duel Tournaments (PVP Circuit series crowning our PVP Champions) and more.

If you've been around our server you may have heard of our Azure Day Weekends. Our Azure Days take place quarterly as mentioned just above, with four evolved editions called Azure Summer Festival, Azure Day Saint's Wake, Azure Starlight Day, and Anniversary Azure Day. With Azure Day Weekends and related events traditionally occuring quarterly our members are always excited to see the next big weekend of crazy and fun social games, and our showering of the free company in gil and prizes galore. We go all out when we celebrate the free company, and Azure Days are another way we find for leadership to give back to the community. 2023 and beyond is now host to additional seasonal Azure Day events!
We're always giving our members a chance to have fun, win big, and make some great memories in the in-game family we've become. Something fun is always on the horizon in Azure.
Community
I almost can't stress enough how friendly our community is. We have a vast variety of members from hardcore gatherers and crafters, social butterflies, chill veterans, experienced raiders, level grinders, support teams, PVP aficionados, mechanic specialists, and mentors. We're also very friendly to all casual players as well and we keep an open door so long as recruits are always aware that we have a no-drama tolerance here.
Evolution into a Gaming Clan & Network
Plans are in the works and foundations are being laid that is slowly turning our community into a larger gaming network, with our first established Azure Wing with regular occurring activity being founded in Monster Hunter World, this has led to a successful Destiny 2 clan and more. Becoming a member of our Discord and/or Free Company now means access to things like our huge discord, Azure Wing membership in other games, and being able to join in on any of our other activities in the general community. Azure Network as its being called at the moment, is growing with an all-new website and community features for playing together across Final Fantasy XIV and to Azure Skies beyond!
Activity
We rank high as one of the top FC's in Worldwide Activity on lodestone, and have for a long time. Most of our players are divided between the US East and West Coasts, members in East and West Canada, and a few outside the US or in EU or Aus zones. Because we do have an activity policy (mentioned below) we keep a standard flow of people, and have crowds in the early morning, late morning, early afternoon, afternoon, evening, and late night crowds.
Elitism isn't our style. Our community boasts a broad range of characters, great personalities, the proud, and also some silly goofs. But elitism isn't welcome, no matter how successful we are or how large we grow. We're always welcoming towards fresh faces interested in joining our guild, and the in-game activity ranges between 30-60+ online at once during prime time hours, sometimes around 70+ on patch days, and usually always with half the roster logging in throughout a 24 hour period, and around 15-30+ during the night.
Activity Policy
We ask that our members do not go missing without logging in for more than 60 days straight. If we hear word from someone or have some kind of decent excuse, we place our members on our On Vacation rank, which lasts presently until 90 days have passed. Exceptions are made for military deployments, hospital stays, financial issues, disability/health related issues, moving, or other reasons that might fall on a case-by-case basis.
All members not heard from in 60 days (roughly 2 months) or currently 90 days (roughly 3 months) are discharged. We allow 3 joins to Azure Infinitum in total, but exceptions can be made due to reasons listed above. If removed for inactivity, or you've left our FC for another reason and haven't already joined 3 times, you're always welcome back, but please remember, we are not a revolving door.
Keeping our roster full of members who have been online and presently play the game actively ensures an active environment for our players who play often. It also keeps our credits and clerical processes balanced across our network, and allows space for new faces to join our big happy in-game family of comrades.

Lmao, I'm laughing my ass off today reading this subreddit because of all the people who jumped on the Barb/Druid hype train despite who they actually wanted to play as (just cause of some no-life streamer recommending them to do so after spending 69hrs playing a pre-day1-patch build lmao), and now bawling their eyes out because the class 'isn't fun' anymore. All that just a few months after the majority of player base played Necro, which changed to the exact opposite in the server slam thingy because of a nerf.
Hahhaa. Boo fucking hoo, maybe try enjoying this game for what it is now, instead of playing for 'meta' so you won't have to go back to reddit every day to bitch while trying to get approval from other sweatlords who come here to play Excel with better graphics. Because - believe it or not - the game will keep on changing all the time. And it's a GOOD thing. For like 99% of people who play it.
I wanted to play the druid because of the general class specification and the class aesthetics. I don't give a shit if pulverise gets 'destroyed' (it wasn't), if it does then fair play, it means it wasn't a sidegrade to the alternativez and now I can use something else without losing out. If you chose your class just because you saw S somewhere in a tier video then bon appetit, enjoy eating your L. They did tell you they were going to do it. Blame yourself and just keep on following those YT videos wasting your time even further, it's quite entertaining for the outsiders.
