2023.05.28 22:09 eljondoe024 Anything to do for a couple hours until flight around Athens, Greece airport?
Wife and I have a flight at 7am but dint have a place to sleep for the night. We came back from Santorini tonight and it didn’t make sense to get a room for a couple hours. Is there anything happening around the airport? Somewhere to eat or a movie theater? Looking for an activity that could kill 4ish hrs.

2023.05.28 22:07 Zeitzen Flights get cancelled because the airline failed to log the first leg correctly
So my friend had a multi-stage trip last year. Upon arriving at the first layover airport all her flights from then on get cancelled, she requests more information and they tell her that they cancelled them because she missed the first flight. The flight she was just on. She ends up having to book new/extra hotel/food/flights. Talking with the airline they keep gaslighting her and telling her that she didn't get on the flight and take her info to "contact her later". This was last year, airline never reached out so it feels like a dead end.
Is there anything else she can do? Thanks!

2023.05.28 22:03 bunbohue1211 Layover at JFK
Hi all, I’m flying to vietnam from West Palm Beach AirPort. The flight from West Palm Beach will land in terminal 4 in JFK then I’ll flight to Korea from terminal 1. I know that the airtrain is not traveling to terminal 1. I have 1h50 layover.
1) Do I have to walk out of the airport and go through security again?
2) what would be the easiest to go from terminal 4 to terminal 1

2023.05.28 22:02 Cetophile JAFTQ: How strict is the Alaska Marine Highway about check in times?
I decided to take the AMH from Juneau to Bellingham in September, based on your responses to my prior JAFTQ--thank you!
I'm trying to squeeze in some time at Mendenhall Glacier before I have to board the ferry. The website states I have to check in 2 hours ahead of sailing, which is 5:30PM from Juneau. How strictly do they enforce this? As it is I only have one day (really less than one) since my flight gets in at 6PM the night before.

2023.05.28 22:01 HeywoodDjiblomi Barcelona, such value
Had a recent trip to Barcelona, and was absolutely floored with the value compared to the US.
What I'm used to: Based in Miami, ATL. Got into hobby last year, started off by getting scammed big by 2 girls at Club E11ven. Transitioned to strip club circuit like Tootsies. My best exp there was a dayshift Cubana a 10/10 enhanced brunette for $500/30 min VIP, all covered action, no GFE or kissing. Focused more on ATL clubs, started getting 8-9/10 Latinas for $400/30 min. Learned more, now I'm consistently $270-$300/30 min with still hot girls, although just basic service. My absolute best was this Lana Rhoades look alike Italian American stripper, $300/30 min at her hotel. Kissing & BBBJ included (she's long since diseappeared). Eventually tried Amsterdam 2x and loved it. While I hear its lost its hey day, but for me I love the fast food McDonalds approach for Red Light District, 100-150E/30min with wiggle room, and the convenience to check out the goods right there in a fun safe city.
Onto Barcelona, 7 providers, all I finished with CF&S. Tools: Sexmercadobcn, independent providers post there and the forum links reviews for many providers. Blurred faces so I stuck with recent/highly reviewed girls. Tip: Schedule to be the girls' first session if possible. I find they're fresh as can be.
Ana & Ashley. I made 2 separate appointments in the morning. Both are mid/late 20's, blondes, enhanced pornstar bodies (big fake tits, BBL) but are very high quality and well done. Each with a unique and sexy face (Ana is Polish, Ashley is Canary Islands), absolute 10s to me. Both were responsive via Whatsapp and hosted in their clean apts in nice part of icy -Ana: was 150E for 60 min, Ashley 250E for 60 min. Both included much french kissing, BBBJ, and GFE despite some language barrier. I didn't push for CIM. Ashley was fantastic, but Ana was far more economical & as good. -Near half the price, 2x as long, and in the comfort of a safe, clean room with a bed and not some uncomfortable club, as well as extra. To me, its 4x the value
Mia: Used the Eden private brothel. Messaged them from their Sexmercado page. Very responsive, the rooms are ok but harsh from fluorescent lighting. Mia, a mid 20s Venezuelan. 9/10 in looks, youthful perky, stacked Latin body with tasteful fake tits. Performance was average. Submissive which I like, included BBBJ, but no GFE, kissing, and she rushed the session. Knowing Spanish would've helped. -120 Euro ($130) for 60 min. Still one of my local clubs girls will charge you that just for 6 air dances.
Denise/Sugar Girls: This is a private discrete brothel, but they have website. Lots of turnover of girls so availability is inconsistent and reviews arent deep. They were very responsive via Whatsapp, similar nice part of town. Rooms are nice, with shower. They do edit their photos, while my girl was still hot she's slightly better on the site. I advise a lineup every time, I'd get 8 or 10 girls and only want to pay for 2 or 3. Dennise is this all natural tattooed girl from Bilbao. Perky pierced B cups, thick fit trunk, built like a softball player with a face like Juelz Ventura. Lots of kissing, but CBJ this time. -150E/60 min. Great fun personality, felt like a party.
Alice/TeensBCN: Another popular private brothel. Same deal, whatsapp, responsive, nice part of town. Rooms were like a motel/dorm room. Alice is a Greek girl with great English, plain faced but feminine, large breasts with natural low hang on her mid 20s body. Like a smaller version of Gianna Michaels. Because of no language barrier, we clicked, she made it feel like a true fun flirty hookup as if I took her from the bar. Kissing, GFE, BBBJ included. -Around 120E for 60
Forgotten named Cuban & Lena/Maison Close: My first public brothel. Just walked in, a discrete initial door in a quiet, nice part of town but you see the branding once in. Nicest rooms of them all, spacious, nice shower. Cuban: Blonde slim Barbie bimbo, body a 9, face a 7.5. Good CBJ, deepthroated. No GFE, kissing. But still a good experience. Lena: My final girl the night before my flight home, wow addicted to her. An early 20s spinner Uruguayan, with big soft juicy fake tits, slender frame but still had curves to her ass. Because of our heights, leverages were great. Even after days of 2 sessions a day, and 1 that morning with other girls, I knew within 10 min this girl was electric. I will be requesting her specifically next visit.
Barcelona for me has been the perfect monger city. It's a great place to visit as is, food is great, not expensive if you travel smart. Most of year is decent weather. Then you have 20+ options from big public brothels to independent girls all with 15 min of you. If I lived in Europe I'd been in Barcelona & AMS every other weekend and still be less money than what I'd need to spend in the US. If they werent $1800+ flights through winter, I'd probably never use a US provider again.
Future targets, would stick to clubs as a first timer. Frankurt: Sharks Oase. Just learning about FKK clubs and seems like an easy 2-3 day bender. Vienna: Wellcum, technically 3 hr drive from Vienna. Would need 4-5 days but another well reviewed FKK where you can stay in their hotel included." Sao Paolo: Scandalo
Going to Colombia very soon and will post on that. Santa Fe and escorts. Feel free to DM if questions or to talk shop

2023.05.28 22:01 KingoftheWriters A Secret Agent investigates a Cannibal
Sakisa Dadisa walked the empty hallways of the abandoned hospital. Luckily, the fourteen-year-old secret agent had his loyal Chimera sitting on his shoulder in the form of a two-foot, chubby, black and brown, anthropomorphic bunny, that went by the name of Flopper. Sakisa had been on plenty of missions with just him and Flopper but the hospital did make the two feel nervous as they ventured forth.
“You think it’s haunted?” Flopper asked.
Sakisa shook his head. “Let’s not put those things in my head, ok buddy.”
Flopper shrugged. “I mean we’ve seen worse.”
Sakisa heard a crack as his combat boots pressed on the wood and the boy jumped landing on his butt, while Flopper fell into his lap.
“Wow Sakisa,” Flopper said with a laugh. “You must be really scared without the others around.”
“Shut up.” Sakisa said, getting back to his feet. “We’re fine.”
With a single leap, Flopper landed back on Sakisa’s shoulder. “Are you going to tell Delilah you walked in effortlessly?”
Sakisa blushed. “Shut up.”
The two were quickly distracted by the sounds of gnashing teeth. Sakisa and Flopper put an ear each to the door and could hear the sounds of teeth munching on meat as clear as seeing a sunny day.
“The Paranormal is defiantly in there.” Sakisa said.
“You think we should fuse?” Flopper suggested.
Sakisa nodded, “Good idea.”
On the other side of the door, a Paranormal sunk its sharp teeth into the flesh of a homeless human. The creature made smacking noises as it chewed its meat, organs swished in its mouth, and it used the bones to clean particles from its fangs and let out a wail of a cry when its stomach reached ecstasy. The Paranormal took the form of a ten-foot bat, and when it was satisfied with its meal it looked through one of the many broken windows and admired the half-moon of Terra Firma. Suddenly the wooden door splintered open.
The Bat Paranormal turned around to face a six-foot, black and brown, slender, anthropomorphic bunny, with blue ripped stylish jeans and clawed gauntlets. The bat creature knew it was fight or flight and decided to charge at the Bunny-Man. Bunny-Man leaped into the air, clashing its floppy but strong feet into the face of the bat creature and nearly knocking it out the window. The bat began to flap its wings and try to catch flight but the bunny chimera leaped, wrapping its strong arms around the bat’s waist and the two flew through the open window and clashed upon the ground, the bat breaking Bunny-Man’s fall.
“We did it.” Sakisa said, putting a teleporter on the bat’s chest.
Flopper hopped near the creature. “Ugly ain’t it.”
Sakisa nodded. “Yeah, just like you, let’s go home.”
“That’s not what the human girls say when they think I’m a stuffed animal.”
Sakisa laughed.

2023.05.28 21:59 Goddess_Etr0 AITA Me and siblings want to go on holiday, mum has practically disowned us
On mobile, sorry for any grammar issues!
Me (33f) my sister (37f) and my brother (36m) are going on a holiday with our respective partners and children. It will be the first holiday for my son and my niece.
For a bit of background there have been previous disagreements with my sister and mum. My mum and her husband do not get along with my BiL at all. We previously all went on holiday together in 2017 for my mums birthday, at great cost. During that holiday she drank too much and argued with me one evening and with my sistet another, this resulted in them not speaking for around 6 months.
When the holiday was originally booked it was just a nice idea for me and my sister to go away together as we've never done it just us and we were excited about it. When I told my mum she immediately got upset asking why she wasn't invited, I explained it was just something we wanted to do as siblings and wasn't supposed to specifically exclude her.
I then received a message from her husband telling me she was very upset and asking if they could come on the holiday but stay somewhere different. I explained to him that I felt put in a difficult position as I'm in the middle but would discuss with my sister and BiL. Ultimately we said we would prefer if they didn't as it was just supposed to be our holiday.
Fast forward to now, my brother and his family are having some financial difficulties and had told us they couldn't afford a holiday this year, when out and drinking him and my BiL decided that they would come too as they could fit in our villa and just pay for flights.
I knew this would upset my mum further but the deed was done and realistically I would love them to come along as these are the 2b people I grew up with and we've never had the opportunity to spend this kind of time together.
After telling my mum the above we received a very long message saying how we've stomped all over her feelings and she's sacrificed everything for us and thought she would reap the rewards of it as we grew up and now she doesn't know how we move past it.
I have tried to explain and have apologised that she's hurt but I don't know what else I can do that would fix it. She wouldn't accept that we can want to do this alone without it being a direct assault on her. She has not listened to anything any of us have said to try and rectify the situation and just said take care of each other sorry I'm such a terrible person and mum.
Am I (we) being unreasonable and AHs to want to go on holiday just as siblings?

2023.05.28 21:58 Salty_Pancakes Let's Talk: Chicago. Jazz rock and the US counterpoint to prog
I first came across Chicago as a kid in the 80s when their album
Chicago 17 released in 1984. It was a pretty big album of the day. Looking it up, it got 6x platinum records and their big hit was the Peter Cetera tune
You're the Inspiration.
Now the song is fine. But it's not really my thing and for the longest time, that's who I thought Chicago was as a band. Some nice, kinda schmaltzy balladeers with songs that wouldn't be out of place in a hallmark movie. It wasn't until years later when a friend of mine kinda sat me down and was like "Nah man. There's a
whoooole other side to this band."
The death of guitarist and singer Terry Kath in 1978 was of course devastating for them and the dynamic completely changed. But they were also going through some stylistic changes at the time similar to what tons of artists were also going through in the back half of the 70s and on into the 80s. Namely, getting more poppy and making hits vs continuing to do the more out there but yet less lucrative stuff. Prog, jazz and fusion, "stadium" rock, country, lots of artists across all kinds of genres were facing these choices and many were choosing to make more "accessible", radio friendly, music. Which I get it.
Like Phil Collins is one example that comes to mind. All his hits of the 80s are fine, but the stuff that really blows my hair back is the Genesis and Brand X stuff. But i don't begrudge Phil any of it. Pop songs are fine and you gotta pay the bills. Being a starving artist is okay in your 20s. It's another thing if you're in your 40s and got kids and stuff. Loads of people were cashing in when the 80s hit.
Anyway, lots of interesting cross pollination between jazz and rock was going on in the mid-late 60s. And Chicago really became their own thing distinct from the others. Way more bombastic and rocking than say, Steely Dan, but also different from a band like Blood Sweat and Tears, who were another horn-heavy jazz/rock band of the day.
There's an apocryphal story about Hendrix that's been around forever but I think most people agree there is some truth to it. In it Hendrix was asked what it was like being the greatest guitar player and he answered "I don't know. You should ask the guy from Chicago."
So if you're unfamiliar with their early stuff, Terry Kath thought this song,
Introduction was a perfect encapsulation of the band and was the first song of their debut album in 1969. It's not prog, but it follows the same sort of ethos as just wanting more creative song structures.
After their first album their next one (Chicago 2) is probably the one most would recognize songs from, like 25 or 6 to 4. But
Make Me Smile is I think my favorite from it. And it really showcases how friggin' amazing Terry Kath was. Singer, songwriter, guitar player, the whole package.
Colour My World and the Make Me Smile Reprise from the Tanglewood show in 1970 is another example. And the drumming by Danny Seraphine. Just outstanding stuff.
And they just kept making bangers. Chicago 3 starts off with this fat, punchy Peter Cetera tune
Sing a Mean Tune Kid. Like this is what folks should remember when they think Peter Cetera. And then there was the frenetic
Free.
After Chicago 4 (all the albums are just numbered lol) which is a double live album from Carnegie Hall, you could hear the production values begin to increase as well as the pop appeal of certain songs. They were still producing some great stuff but it wasn't quite the wild out there flights of fancy of their earlier days. They ended up doing 11 albums between 1969 and when Terry died in 1978. That is a ton of work and there are great great songs in there.
edit: I figured I'd also include the Tanglewood
25 or 6 to 4 from 1970 because why not. also fixed some links

2023.05.28 21:54 fghfghfhfb NBA Finals berth at stake as Heat, Celtics prepare for Game 7
Moments after Boston’s dramatic win at Miami on Saturday night, Jaylen Brown began thinking about the future. He raised his hands, put up seven fingers and began yelling, “Game 7! Game 7!”
Game 7, indeed.
Brown and Boston are on the brink of history after Derrick White’s buzzer-beating putback lifted the Celtics to a 104-103 victory over the Heat in Game 6. One of the league’s most storied franchises is trying to become the first team in NBA playoffs history to overcome a 3-0 deficit to win a best-of-seven series.
Next up is one more game in the Eastern Conference finals on Monday night in Boston. And it looks as if the back-and-forth series could be on its way to an epic conclusion.
The Celtics are the fourth NBA team to erase a 3-0 deficit in a best-of-seven series and force a deciding game. The previous three teams — the 1951 New York Knicks in the NBA Finals, the 1994 Denver Nuggets in the second round and the 2003 Portland Trail Blazers in the first round — lost Game 7, all on the road.
“We’ve got another chance, another opportunity,” said Jayson Tatum, who had 31 points, 11 rebounds and five assists in Game 6 to join Larry Bird as the only other Celtic with double-digit playoff games with at least 30 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. “It’s far from over. Still an uphill battle. But it always feels good to give yourself another chance, another opportunity.”
Boston is looking to extend a wild postseason ride that already includes five wins when facing elimination — twice in the East semifinals after falling behind 3-2 to the 76ers, and now three straight times against the Heat.
The Celtics are 27-9 in Game 7s and have won their last four — including a 112-88 win against Philadelphia in the previous round that featured Tatum breaking out for 51 points, the most in a Game 7 in NBA history. Boston also beat the Heat in Game 7 in Miami in last year’s East finals when Jimmy Butler missed what would have been a go-ahead 3-pointer with about 17 seconds left.
The Heat are 6-5 all-time in Game 7s, losing their last two. Miami is 0-2 when facing such a game on the road.
The winner of Sunday’s matchup will advance to face the Western Conference champion Denver Nuggets in the NBA Finals.
Despite being denied a finals berth in three straight games, Miami coach Erik Spoelstra said his message to the team after Saturday’s loss was just to focus on the next game. Let the past be the past.
“Let’s just rally around each other,” Spoelstra said. “These are emotional games and things can swing in that Game 7. The pressure can go back and forth in Game 7s quite a bit. We’re not going anywhere.”
But what may be most concerning for the Heat heading into Monday is the Celtics — typically reliant on their ability to make 3-point shots — were able to pull out Saturday’s win despite making a playoff-low 7 of 35 attempts from deep.
In addition, until Butler’s incredible flurry of 10 points in just over two minutes to put the Heat in front, he was mostly a non-factor on a night in which he went just 5 of 21 from the field. Over the past three games Butler has shot a combined 19 of 55.

Bula! It is our last day visiting this wonderful country and we learnt recently that today is a holiday. We're headed back to Nadi to catch our flight back home to Canada and were wondering if any markets would be open or if they'll all be closed and we'll be buying our keepsakes from the airport gift shop.

2023.05.28 21:50 styx154 How to travel abroad as a teenager?
Hi everyone, I am planning for a trip from the UK to Turkey where I am going to be meeting up with some friends. I am 17 and haven't travelled abroad on my own before. Do I need any consent forms from my parents before I travel and where can I find out more about what I need to do before I book a flight. Thanks in advance!

2023.05.28 21:48 ddbrown30 RotR: How to survive and win the fight against Arkrhyst?
I asked a more generic question yesterday but the discussion ended up going around in circles, so I thought I would approach this with an example from an official PEG campaign.
Spoilers for Rise of the Runelords.
In Rise of the Runelords Book 5, the heroes need to activate seven statues in order to retrieve seven keys needed to complete the adventure. Upon activating the first statue, Arkrhyst, an Ancient Dragon, wakes and prepares to attack the party. He waits at the entrance to his cave which is some 200 feet above the stairs the heroes must climb to continue the adventure. He attacks as they begin to approach the stairs.
Arkrhyst has Strength of d12+6 and a Bite attack of Str+d8+d6. He has the Arcane Resistance, Counter Attack, Dodge, Frenzy (Imp), Level Headed, and Quick edges. He also does 2d4 damage to adjacent foes at the end of his turns. He's immune to cold, paralysis, slumber, and Stun. He ignores 4 points of scale penalties when attacking. He has a flight pace of 24.
Before the fight, Arkrhyst casts environmental protection (fire), boost trait (Strength), deflection, and invisibility.
The adventure assumes that Arkrhyst will be able to sneak up and surprise the party when he attacks.
His tactics are to fly around and use his breath weapon (5d6 damage) to force the party to scatter at which point he'll grab a single opponent, carry it up, breath on it, and then drop it 200 feet.
The arena for this fight is essentially wide open. There is minimal cover and it's outdoors so there is nothing hindering Arkrhyst's flight.
At this point in the adventure, the party is Heroic rank (specifically, 14 advances).
The party is not expected to have prepared for this fight or done anything special to set up an arena to give them an advantage. The party cannot simply flee as they need to continue forward. It's clear that the adventure designers expect the PCs to fight and defeat Arkrhyst. If he escapes the fight, they even suggest springing him on the party while they are recovering from a difficult fight, which makes it even clearer that the designers both expect and want the party to fight and defeat this dragon, even without preparation or being at full strength.
How is the party meant to survive this fight and ultimately defeat Arkrhyst?

2023.05.28 21:48 leofire97 JAPAN TRIP REPORT
Just wanted to preface this and say that for my partner and I, jet lag became our friend. We got up super early with ease and did everything we wanted to do. So if jet lag is something worrisome for you, think of it as a positive 🙂 **all prices are in Canadian dollars which is 1:100 Japanese yen. *sorry for any grammatical / punctuation errors Takeaways: -Fruit is expensive as heck in Japan!!! -Bring plastic bags for garbage with you!! -Going to the washroom & “dropping off your kids at the pool” is a * religious * experience. -Splurge on kobe beef & omakase!! -Get a bullet train / shinkanssen pass. We found that it was extremely worth it for the days we were in Kyoto, Nara, Osaka and Kobe as we used it everyday on the JR lines. For an entire week we did not replenish our Suica. -Japan has this Peach water that tastes like REAL fruit juice. Identical to when you bite into a peach. GET IT! -For money conversion, I found that my credit card gave me a better rate than converting my cash. However, cash is still king in Japan, especially in the markets. -The japan metro/JSubway system etc is overwhelming at first however, we learned it the first day. Google maps was my bestie. -The culture shock is huge. Japanese people are very dutiful. Everytime we needed help, locals would always go out of their way to make sure we got to our destination, even if that meant a 10minute detour for themselves. Japan is also very forward looking. I was impressed with how I was handed a sheet to put over my face to avoid my makeup getting on the clothes when trying things on. -Comme les garçons does not let you try on their shirts 😣 8 May 2023 (Monday)Canada -> TOKYO We checked in for our flight on air Canada as well as the Japan website. Highly recommend downloading Ubigi as an air sim and getting the suica card on your iphone wallet! Suica saved us a lot of time and we just tapped as we went along. 9 May 2023 (Tuesday) TOKYO Arrived in Narita airport I highly recommend getting the airport limo bus. I used this link:
https://www.klook.com/.../2274-narita-haneda-airport.../... Service to and from the airport cost us 45$ canadian total per person and was a great choice since we did not have to worry about transfers on our first day in Japan. Lots of leg room, AC & WIFI. Our airbnb was near Okubo station. I loved our location as it was 1 stop away from shinjuku station and we had the best ramen. Restaurant is called Gomaryu. 10 May 2023 (Wednesday) TOKYO / shibazakura festival Our trip was slightly changed as seeing Mt Fuji was important to us and this was the only day we knew for certain would be sunny! Initially, I had planned a chill day but we rearranged everything and went to the Shibazakura festival. I highly recommend going as it was beautiful with tons of Instagramable photo spots and great food vendors. 11 May 2023(Thursday) TOKYO / DISNEYLAND I booked tickets for us on Klook for Disneyland. I have never been to any Disneyland but this one was truly magical! My partner and I cried after the beauty and the beast ride. We got to the park at 8am and werent let in till 9am. We were one of the first 10% of people who arrived. Keep in mind that people who stayed at the Disney resort got a 15mins head start so once it was our turn, we ran towards the B&B ride to which there was already a 3hr wait immediately. Paying an extra 20$/pp was a no brainer and 10000% worth it. Honestly never experienced nostalgia and magic to this degree. Also want to give a shoutout to the tower of terror 10/10 and 10mins lineup. The starwars ride was also superb for what it was. Alien mochi was worth the hype. 12 May 2023 (Friday) TOKYO / tsukiji market & sumo performance Tsukiji market was worth visiting with the variety of food. I do not recommend getting anything “a5 wagyu” or sushi as it is not the freshest. I learned the hard way that not all sushi is made equally in Japan so splurge on an omakase (more on my experience later). I booked a sumo experience with klook:
https://www.klook.com/.../75397-sumo-lunch-experience.../... Amazing meal (I still think about the katsu we had) and show! Was very intimate and got to fight the sumo wrestlers! This day was a core memory for sure. We also visited the unicorn gundam statue which was UNBELIEVABLE!! 13 May 2023 (Saturday) TOKYO This day was supposed to be relaxing… but we somehow did 30k steps. We went to the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden (so beautiful and amazing starbucks!), Meiji Jingu shrine, imperial palace & yūshūkan museum (ww2 history & samurai) 14 May 2023 (Sunday) TOKYO bullet train to yunessan This was the first day we had for activating our shinkansen pass. We travelled to an onsen in the mountains of Hakone. It is called Yunessan onsen and it was AMAZING. It is the onsen where you can bathe in wine, coffee, sake, green tea etc. We for some reason did not have high expectations but it superseded everything. We paid extra for the fish bath where they eat your dead skin (so ticklish and a crazy experience) and we went to the adult part of the onsen where everyone is naked. Here we found ourselves submerged in lemon water while it was raining with a view of the mountains. Truly a sublime experience. 15 May 2023 (Monday) TOKYO -> KYOTO We walked everywhere this day. Saw the emperor, checked out Kinnkaku-ji (Golden Temple), and Yasaka shrine (had the best matcha soft serve) 16 May 2023 (Tuesday) KYOTO We Travelled to Fushimi Inari shrine (super busy and touristy but worth it!), nara park to see the bowing deer , saw the Todaiji temple and visited the famous mochi making place called nakatani mochi shop and saw the show! Best mochi I had all trip. We decided not to go to the Arashiyama bamboo forest as it did not seem worth it from other people’s reviews. 17 May 2023 (Wednesday) KYOTO -> OSAKA Kuromon market had everything similar to Tsukiji market in Tokyo. One thing i loved here were the sweet potato chips that had sugar and salt coating. We also visited a micro pig cafe and the animals seemed very happy. Dotonburri had so many food options. 18 May 2023 (Thursday) OSAKA -> KOBE -> OSAKA My partner had a religious experience here as we both had the best beef of our life. We had kobe and wagyu beef at mouriya honten in Kobe (we travelled here using our JR pass so it was *technically free*). I wanted to take some time to note how amazing the hospitality was and that the chef cooked our beef in thirds. He made sure that every slice of beef we put in our mouth was still hot and watched as we ate to gage when to start searing the next slabs of beef. I WAS AMAZED!!! Total spent here was $240 CDN. Next we visited the zoo in Osaka and it was only 5$ CDN! (500 JAPANESE yen). I have never seen a red panda before so that was the highlight for me! After this we did mario kart in the streets of Osaka/Dotonburi.
https://www.klook.com/.../8590-street-go-kart.../... I originally wanted to book it for us in Tokyo but it was booked out for a month!! However, the tour guides were amazing and it was a blast. I am not sure why others advised against it and that local Japanese people are annoyed by this activity because I found everyone waving at us, smiling and taking videos. 10/10 activity. 19 May 2023 (Friday) OSAKA I never had soufflé pancakes so I made a reservation for us at Happy Pancake in Osaka. WAS DELICIOUS AND THE LINE WAS SO LONG FOR PEOPLE WHO DID NOT MAKE A RESERVATION. Also the fruit was really worth it as I said before, Fruit is very hard to come by. The rest of the day was for exploring Dotonburi and shopping. 20 May 2023 (Saturday) OSAKA -> TOKYO Free day! We had michelin ramen for 15$ in … A SUBWAY STATION. Ginza kagari! The creamiest broth with chicken and truffle. It was life changing to say the least. We go there at 4pm and the line only formed after we left. 21 May 2023 (Sunday) - Last full day 🙁 TOKYO We had an omakase booking at Sushi Yajima and I was so happy. It is run by a old couple who speak PERFECT english. The freshest fish and each person only paid 44$! I made sure to research this place and many other omakase experiences and this was worth way more than what we paid for. The husband was making the nigiri for us and he said the funniest things! He was plating tuna for my partner and said: “This fish is Viagra. You are strong man so you don’t need it, but I need it” HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE ON A BUDGET AND WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE BEST SUSHI IN JAPAN. 😂 22 May 2023(Monday) TOKYO ->back home

2023.05.28 21:47 KorKhan Built my first airport with the Airports DLC, and it's not getting any flights. Anyone know what the problem might be?
| I recently got the Airports DLC and set up my first airport. Unfortunately, wait as long as I might, I haven't had any aircraft land or take off, neither cargo nor passenger planes. A few points to note: - I'm playing with all milestones unlocked, hence why I've got all the assets available. - My city has good attractiveness, and has no trouble attracting tourists by other means. My previous (non-DLC) airport had plenty of flights. - I've checked to make sure all aircraft stands are connected to taxiways for both entry and exit (see screenshots below) - I initially laid out the runway and taxiways with network anarchy on. However, I read this can cause issues with the DLC, so I deleted them and rebuilt them with anarchy off. - I was subscribed to Extended Managers Library (temporary fix) when I first built the airport. Here likewise, I've read that this can cause issues. I've since unsubscribed using the Remove EML mod. - My Skyve compatibility report has flagged the following mods: "Daylight Classic", "All 25 Areas Purchasable", "Play It" and "FPS Booster". Could any of these be causing the issue? (By the way, I don't seem to be able to export the report like I could with the old Compatibility Report; am I missing something?) No matter what I've done, it doesn't seem to help. Anyone have any ideas? Worst case, I might have to tear it down and rebuild it from scratch, but maybe there's a solution I'm not thinking of. https://preview.redd.it/3uumx8fbhm2b1.jpg?width=7680&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=146f38395baa73b4349776458af8d12b790215b5 https://preview.redd.it/rps2i56chm2b1.jpg?width=5889&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=60e0a8f8ddf3125c7109ee727bcae67a5f6522db submitted by KorKhan to CitiesSkylines [link] [comments] |
