This led me to imagine a scenario where Tony had to choose between delivering Paulie, one of his capos, to the Russians or going to war with them. It’s hard to predict how Tony would handle this situation. On one hand, giving up Paulie would make Tony look weak to his crew. They would lose faith in his protection. Tony also had a problem with authority and taking orders, as we saw with his conflict with Phil over that animal. On the other hand, Paulie was not a blood relative. Tony cared more about money than anything. If his business was threatened, Tony might sacrifice Paulie without a second thought. He also wouldn’t risk a war against the Russians, who probably outnumbered the glorified crew. He was also tired of Paulie at that point. So who knows? What do y’all think?

Just wanted to preface this and say that for my partner and I, jet lag became our friend. We got up super early with ease and did everything we wanted to do. So if jet lag is something worrisome for you, think of it as a positive 🙂 **all prices are in Canadian dollars which is 1:100 Japanese yen. *sorry for any grammatical / punctuation errors Takeaways: -Fruit is expensive as heck in Japan!!! -Bring plastic bags for garbage with you!! -Going to the washroom & “dropping off your kids at the pool” is a * religious * experience. -Splurge on kobe beef & omakase!! -Get a bullet train / shinkanssen pass. We found that it was extremely worth it for the days we were in Kyoto, Nara, Osaka and Kobe as we used it everyday on the JR lines. For an entire week we did not replenish our Suica. -Japan has this Peach water that tastes like REAL fruit juice. Identical to when you bite into a peach. GET IT! -For money conversion, I found that my credit card gave me a better rate than converting my cash. However, cash is still king in Japan, especially in the markets. -The japan metro/JSubway system etc is overwhelming at first however, we learned it the first day. Google maps was my bestie. -The culture shock is huge. Japanese people are very dutiful. Everytime we needed help, locals would always go out of their way to make sure we got to our destination, even if that meant a 10minute detour for themselves. Japan is also very forward looking. Suica saved us a lot of time and we just tapped as we went along. 9 May 2023 (Tuesday) TOKYO Arrived in Narita airport I highly recommend getting the airport limo bus. Service to and from the airport cost us 45$ canadian total per person and was a great choice since we did not have to worry about transfers on our first day in Japan. Lots of leg room, AC & WIFI. Restaurant is called Gomaryu. 10 May 2023 (Wednesday) TOKYO / shibazakura festival Our trip was slightly changed as seeing Mt Fuji was important to us and this was the only day we knew for certain would be sunny! Initially, I had planned a chill day but we rearranged everything and went to the Shibazakura festival. I highly recommend going as it was beautiful with tons of Instagramable photo spots and great food vendors. 11 May 2023(Thursday) TOKYO / DISNEYLAND I booked tickets for us on Klook for Disneyland. I have never been to any Disneyland but this one was truly magical! My partner and I cried after the beauty and the beast ride. We got to the park at 8am and werent let in till 9am. We were one of the first 10% of people who arrived. Keep in mind that people who stayed at the Disney resort got a 15mins head start so once it was our turn, we ran towards the B&B ride to which there was already a 3hr wait immediately. Paying an extra 20$/pp was a no brainer and 10000% worth it. Honestly never experienced nostalgia and magic to this degree. Also want to give a shoutout to the tower of terror 10/10 and 10mins lineup. The starwars ride was also superb for what it was. Alien mochi was worth the hype. 12 May 2023 (Friday) TOKYO / tsukiji market & sumo performance Tsukiji market was worth visiting with the variety of food. I do not recommend getting anything “a5 wagyu” or sushi as it is not the freshest. I learned the hard way that not all sushi is made equally in Japan so splurge on an omakase (more on my experience later). Was very intimate and got to fight the sumo wrestlers! This day was a core memory for sure. We went to the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden (so beautiful and amazing starbucks!), Meiji Jingu shrine, imperial palace & yūshūkan museum (ww2 history & samurai) 14 May 2023 (Sunday) TOKYO bullet train to yunessan This was the first day we had for activating our shinkansen pass. We travelled to an onsen in the mountains of Hakone. It is called Yunessan onsen and it was AMAZING. It is the onsen where you can bathe in wine, coffee, sake, green tea etc. We for some reason did not have high expectations but it superseded everything. We paid extra for the fish bath where they eat your dead skin (so ticklish and a crazy experience) and we went to the adult part of the onsen where everyone is naked. Here we found ourselves submerged in lemon water while it was raining with a view of the mountains. Truly a sublime experience. 15 May 2023 (Monday) TOKYO -> KYOTO We walked everywhere this day. Saw the emperor, checked out Kinnkaku-ji (Golden Temple), and Yasaka shrine (had the best matcha soft serve) 16 May 2023 (Tuesday) KYOTO We Travelled to Fushimi Inari shrine (super busy and touristy but worth it!), nara park to see the bowing deer , saw the Todaiji temple and visited the famous mochi making place called nakatani mochi shop and saw the show! Best mochi I had all trip. We decided not to go to the Arashiyama bamboo forest as it did not seem worth it from other people’s reviews. 17 May 2023 (Wednesday) KYOTO -> OSAKA Kuromon market had everything similar to Tsukiji market in Tokyo. One thing i loved here were the sweet potato chips that had sugar and salt coating. We also visited a micro pig cafe and the animals seemed very happy. Dotonburri had so many food options. 18 May 2023 (Thursday) OSAKA -> KOBE -> OSAKA My partner had a religious experience here as we both had the best beef of our life. We had kobe and wagyu beef at mouriya honten in Kobe (we travelled here using our JR pass so it was *technically free*). I wanted to take some time to note how amazing the hospitality was and that the chef cooked our beef in thirds. He made sure that every slice of beef we put in our mouth was still hot and watched as we ate to gage when to start searing the next slabs of beef. I WAS AMAZED!!! Total spent here was $240 CDN. Next we visited the zoo in Osaka and it was only 5$ CDN! (500 JAPANESE yen). I have never seen a red panda before so that was the highlight for me! After this we did mario kart in the streets of Osaka/Dotonburi. https://www.klook.com/.../8590-street-go-kart.../... I originally wanted to book it for us in Tokyo but it was booked out for a month!! However, the tour guides were amazing and it was a blast. I am not sure why others advised against it and that local Japanese people are annoyed by this activity because I found everyone waving at us, smiling and taking videos. 10/10 activity. 19 May 2023 (Friday) OSAKA I never had soufflé pancakes so I made a reservation for us at Happy Pancake in Osaka. WAS DELICIOUS AND THE LINE WAS SO LONG FOR PEOPLE WHO DID NOT MAKE A RESERVATION. Also the fruit was really worth it as I said before, Fruit is very hard to come by. The rest of the day was for exploring Dotonburi and shopping. 20 May 2023 (Saturday) OSAKA -> TOKYO Free day! We had michelin ramen for 15$ in … A SUBWAY STATION. Ginza kagari! The creamiest broth with chicken and truffle. It was life changing to say the least. We go there at 4pm and the line only formed after we left. 21 May 2023 (Sunday) - Last full day 🙁 TOKYO We had an omakase booking at Sushi Yajima and I was so happy. It is run by a old couple who speak PERFECT english. The freshest fish and each person only paid 44$! I made sure to research this place and many other omakase experiences and this was worth way more than what we paid for. The husband was making the nigiri for us and he said the funniest things! He was plating tuna for my partner and said: “This fish is Viagra. You are strong man so you don’t need it, but I need it” HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE ON A BUDGET AND WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE BEST SUSHI IN JAPAN. 😂 22 May 2023(Monday) TOKYO ->back home

I am feeling like I'm just not going to have romantic chemistry, much less sexual chemistry, with anyone right off the bat, even if I'm interested in them. I can usually tell if someone is a "no way," but my interest in a lot of people grows over time. (See: someone I knew IRL and was attracted to and asked out. Our date felt incredibly platonic on both sides & he declined a second. I proceeded to fall in love with him over the course on interacting as friends after that). But if people are looking for an immediate spark/fireworks, it probably just isn't going to happen with me.
So question 1: my profile already says I take things a bit slowly physically so that people have a heads up. Should I elaborate more & say that slow burns are my speed? I don't want to say I'm looking for friendship first because a) that's not really it and b) I know that can ward people off. I just need to see people a few times before my attraction really grows even if I'm interested. Also, I'm not one of those people who "just isn't very romantic" or whatever. I'm super affectionate & super touchy feely when I'm in a relationship, but I'm far from that on a first date. I will happily hug my dates but that's about it.
Question 2: I'm also wondering if seated coffee/dessert/brunch dates just AREN'T my thing. Part of me says that if it's the right person, we'll just click & it won't matter. The other part of me thinks about my experience with the guy IRL. I felt WAY more attraction to him sitting next to him at an event & texting & whispering after he'd already turned me down than I did when we sat talking at a restaurant. I've been thinking of going straight to asking people to mini golf or to throw a frisbee at the park or SOMETHING. (Then again, I went on a first date where we took a walk at the beach & there was zero chemistry there, but he was also a low energy person & allergic to dogs & I don't think any setting would have made things work.)

Today my church celebrated Pentecost, the day that the Spirit of God descended like tongues of flame on the first disciples of Christ and gave the gift of tongues and countless people heard the story of Jesus Christ in their own tongue in the land of Jerusalem. But in light of that historic day I'd like to share with you some thoughts and scriptures that may point you to Jesus Christ and the power of his Spirit and the freedom that comes with it when reading about Luffy and one piece. Also this should be noted as spoilers for anime people.

In one piece wherever the main character goes there is release of captives and oppressed people from tyranny and evil. From the beginning with Koby getting rescued to Wano with the samurai and countrymen of Wano countless people have been freed because of the efforts and ideals of the Strawhat pirates.

And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Just as Luffy's will has became more and more lined up with Nika's, once his will fully reflected the will of Nika, he took on the full image of Nika and it was overpowering and in the story it's noted that Zoan fruits tend to warp the will of the user to reflect the spirit or nature of the animal it's based off of.

For those who partake in the body and blood of Christ, follow Christ and are being made more and more like Jesus as they follow him. Just like Luffy and others become more attuned to the spirit or desire of the animal whose Zoan Devil fruit they ate. We are being transformed into the image of Christ with ever increasinging glory, and if following his will, will be made fully like Christ; Obedient to God, free from sin, loving, and pleasing to God.

And all creation is awaiting the arrival of Jesus again or the fullness of him and for his children to be revealed here.

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.

When Luffy shows up Oda has symbolized light or dawn breaking or light shining against the darkness. When people in One Piece see Luffy's face it's the closest they come to knowing the God of Freedom as he is literally the possessor of the will of Nika and by extension Roger and those who have been looking forward to freedom or truth are made to smile because of Luffy.

I love the scenes in One Piece that may be filler like when Luffy reminds someone of Roger in the bar in Logue Town or a god of wisdom like in Wano or Dr. k mentioning the Will of D. Because they seem shocked to see this similar spirit or demeanor at work in another person. How I hope that others who follow and have the Spirit of Christ would point others to Christ. And they would be shocked to see someone living as Jesus lived.

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

One issue I have with one piece is that the Haki powerscalers say Haki or your own will is Supreme. And that comes from one's self. But not everyone could be king of the pirates or has access to that power, not everyone has access to Color of the Supreme King Haki. For me I believe the power a Christian or follower of Christ has comes from God and I think this could be a sign that it's similar for the people in one piece.

There is never an easy mission for Luffy except maybe the one at the start of Alabasta Arc (Whiskey Peak) or maybe the Jaya Arc. But every arc he is hard pressed struck down, maybe ecen abadonded by Sanji in Whole Cake/Zou, but he bounces back.

Jesus did not want to take on the sins of the world and be an object of wrath by God. For he wanted the cup of all sin to pass him by if it were God's will, but unlike Adam in the first Garden, Jesus said may thy will be done.

There he took on the sins of the world upon himself and was treated like a sinner for the sake of the sinners who would believe in him in order to save them from the wrath of God. From there he was led before councils and leaders like Pontius Pilate and the Sandhedrin and Herod and though they(Herod and Pilate) found nothing wrong or worthy to condemn him Pilate sentenced him to death upon a wooden cross.
While the mockers told Jesus, 'you who said you could tear down the temple and rebuild it in three days, you who healed the lame and blind, bring yourself down from that cross, if you are able. He could save others but he cannot save himself.'

foolish words, of course he could not save himself, the rain does not save itself but falls from heaven to earth to water that which needs life and nourishment. Most flowers cannot save themselves, but dies for the sake of it's seed to spread and bring life to countless other flowers like itself. His death would mean life for those who believe and reconcilation to God.
Luffy in Wano faced death and was revived to life and awakened his devil fruit to reveal in it's full glory the body and likeness and power of Nika the god of freedom. When Jesus returned from death to life he too was raised in glory and power, power to save his friends who believe in him from the jaws of death and sin and set them free.

Many of Luffys friends over the last 2-3 years of in manga time have believed in Luffy and spoken it out, while most had times where they didn't believe in him or thought it was over for Luffy, but for each member Luffy faced death for his friends whether it was taking bullets for Zoro, or facing Arlong and his men for Nami, or Fighting Don Krieg and saving the restaurant for Sanji and then later taking on an army at WCI and starving waiting for his cook. After these acts, each spoke out their belief in Luffy claiming that he would be the man to be the King of the Pirates.

For the disciples of Christ they knew him for 2-3 years of his earthly ministry and yet even after seeing the miracles and powers and knowing the man, the disciples fell away, but it wasn't until after his death, resurrection and the arrival of the Holy Spirit for the disciples in the book of Acts that his disciples were able to fully trust and believe him and face death for the sake of Jesus Christ. Before they were faithful men following Christ and hoping him to be the Messiah, but they were just men, but after the resurrection and coming Pentacost were filled with the Spirit. These men were now certain of who Christ was and were empowered to face death and persecution and famine and prison for the sake of Jesus' name, the very true and real son of God.

I hope and pray that the name of Jesus Christ would be lifted up high even in this subreddit. He died to save the world from the wrath of God and on Pentecost gave his Spirit as a teacher and guide to those first few disciples as a seal of their redemption from sin, and death, and from the evil spirit of this age. For any who would want to know eternal life must come to know Jesus Christ and this cannot come from a post on Reddit, but come from God himself through the very Spirit that hovered over the surface of the deep at the beginning of time and brought into existence light, life, and land out of a formless void.

A one-hit killing cross counterpunch developed by Karna as his finishing blow. In addition to Karna having been inspired by boxing the moment he became Santa, Karna learned that boxing has a knockout punch called a cross counter, and for some reason Karna came to the conclusion that "Santa uses a cross counter as his finishing blow, which must be why he is named Santa Claus!" This utterly nonsensical notion is what led to him coming up with this technique.
It is not possible to actually see this attack. His fist perfectly aligns with the enemy's strike and smashes through the enemy's jaw like a beam of sunlight. It's as if a sacred sword of the stars slashed through the air... This move is both a deadly fist and a sacred sword.
The word "Graharaja" means "lord of the planets," and it is another name for the sun god Surya.

Once a year during Christmastime, everyone wishes for presents. Karna learns Santa Claus is the one who grants these wishes, and the moment he realizes he has the power to do so himself, he does not hesitate to take on the role. And so, whenever the children ask, "Santa, please give me a present," this new Santa Claus simply replies, "Very well. Here you go," and grants their Christmas wish. He may seem a bit frosty, but he's far from coldhearted. He just has a hard time smiling.
Stoic in a way, not over-enthusiastic, not having fun, but perfectly fulfilling the role of Santa.
But by the end of the day when he has fulfilled his duties as Santa and receives a big smile and a "Thank you" from the children he feels a different sort of happiness than when he does his usual charity work.
That's to be expected. After all he isn't the usual Karna right now, he is Santa Karna
For some reason he has taken up the masculine sport of boxing. He is an all-rounder who can do either in-boxing or out-boxing depending on his opponent (or his whims)
In most cases his choice of fighting style is either because "it looks like fun" or "it looks like I can grow stronger" never because "it will be an eazy win" . Sometimes it's necessary to have a hard fought fistfight.

What other owners have there been that changed and had a good run at staying open?

This first girl I met, let's call her "J", we have been talking to each other for the past 3 months. But out of all that time, we only met each other in person 2 times. Both times we met up, we were eating at different restaurants and getting to know each other, and it turns out we both have a lot in common, mostly with interest and hobbies. We both had a good time both times. However, the last time I met J in-person has almost been a month. She's always busy not only with work and college, but also church and studying the Bible on her own while for myself I'm only working since I finished college early at 19 ( I'm 23 now).
I'm not sure if she's this committed or if her church making her study this much, but I remember she told me almost everyday she has to call certain church members to study for about 20 minutes to an hour on the phone. On the 2nd time we met, she was already on the phone with someone from church when I picked her up and waited like 15 minutes before I could talk to her. Don't get me wrong, I am committed to my own church as a Stagehand Assistant, worship and youth leader; but I'm mainly committed on Sundays, Tuesdays for my young adult group, and certain week days depending the events we have at church. For J's case, that's too much for me.
I also told J that we can also study together and go to my church for my young adult group on Tuesdays whenever she's free, and she's told me she is interested. But lately, she's been canceling our meet ups alot lately, even the days that she suggested and tells me she needs to spend time with family or study on her own. She also lets me know what days she disables her Messenger and how many days she'll be offline.
I'm trying to be as patient as I can with her by reminding myself of 1 Corinthians 13, but i sometimes feel like I should just give up and move on. Last night, I got a new like from another girl. I live in a pretty small town so finding a job has been difficult to say the least. I'm currently working at a Lil Caesars until I can find something better. The hours are great because we're severely understaffed, the pay is terrible, and we don't get breaks. However, the most miserable part of this job for me is the working conditions. The restaurant is very small and I work in the back making pizzas right next to a giant oven that is over 400 degrees. The owner, is a very stingy man. The AC is off and we are not allowed to touch the thermostat under any circumstances. I live in the south where it gets very hot during the summer, yet it feels much better outside than it does inside of my workplace. I'm constantly dripping with sweat. There have been quite a few people who have gotten sent home or just quit because they can't handle the heat combined with dinnelunch rushes. Am I being a big baby? I've brought up this issue with the owners wife but she just shrugged it off. It's not like I'm asking them to turn the AC down to freezing temperatures, I just simply want to be able to do my job without getting heat exhaustion.
Btw, I'd be cautious ever ordering from a Lil Caesars ever again. There are roaches at the restaurant I work at.

It's my understanding that I can and should submit FMLA paperwork by 30 days before my due date with estimated dates.
However, it was also recommended that I submit disability paperwork ahead of time but both of my policies require attestation by the delivering provider. Is this something you generally just complete in the hospital or right when you get home or am I missing something?

We've seen in the gameplay trailer that some attacks can be countered. With that in mind, I very much hope that they expand on the last-minute dodge that delivers a web shot to the head. In my opinion, if Insomniac create more options in the form of these counters to follow up on, maybe a bit Batman Arkham-esque, it would spice up the gameplay. Maybe something like spinning a circle around the opponent to wrap them in would be a good move. For Venom Peter, we've seen him deform to deliver a counter attack. For Miles, some counters or perfect dodges should be electric-based What would you hope/expect to see when it comes to gameplay?

Hey everyone,
I've often found myself wanting to make a post like this over the last 3 years that I've been together with my girlfriend. Our relationship has not been the easiest, especially this past year. I love her, and she loves me, but sometimes I just don't know if things are going to work out.
Last night, my girlfriend (who lives in the city) came out to visit me in the suburbs for dinner. As much as I would like to be able to take care of all of our dinners, I simply am not financially able to do that right now.
Before she made the trek to the suburbs - about an hour train - I asked her if we could split the bill. Admittedly, she didn't say yes or no, she just sort of ignored my question. But I made sure to mention it several times that I could not afford to pay for the entire dinner. This is also nothing new, so it's not like she should've expected me to.
Anyway - she arrived, we had dinner, the check comes and it's like $170 before tip. After tip it comes out to $199, basically $200 flat, of which her portion was $130.
I also had made it a point not to order any beverages other than water, while my girlfriend ordered several glasses of wine (which I also advised against considering we had much nicer wine already at home - but hey, it's her money right?)
My girlfriend then informs me that she didn't have any cards with her, which again - not too surprising, she uses apple pay much of the time and they didn't take it at the restaurant. I didn't make a fuss about it, I put my credit card down expecting to settle the bill with her later.
I took a picture of the receipt so that we wouldn't lose it, and she watched me do this. The next day comes and I ask her to pay her portion of the bill and she flat out refuses.
On this next day, we were scheduled to have dinner with her father in the city. Her father usually graciously pays for the dinner, which I appreciate very much - so additional cost was not a concern. That said, as my girlfriend was refusing to pay her portion of the bill from the previous night, I decided to put my foot down.
I told her I would not be attending the dinner unless she paid me for the night before. This resulted in a big long argument about this and that, her primary excuse saying that because I got slightly irritated at the end of the dinner when I wanted to leave the restaurant and head home, that she won't pay me back because I was rude. I completely disagree with her characterization of what happened - but from my perspective - that has nothing to do with paying for dinner or money, so it's irrelevant.
There are more material pieces of information to this story I'd like to share, but unfortunately to properly explain them results in my exceeding the 3000 character slightly. The short version - my girlfriend just received $4000+ the very same day of the dinner thanks to my doing her taxes for her, and I am $60,000 in credit card debt and actively trying to reduce my non-essential spending.

Larry reluctantly takes it and reads the charge. LARRY (CONT'D) Expired parking meter—thirty-five dollars?! Unbelievable... INT. SECOND RESTAURANT - DAY Later, Larry is with his manager, JEFF, at another restaurant. He spots the same Parking Cop outside, writing tickets for cars on the street. LARRY Here's my chance. Watch this. EXT. SECOND RESTAURANT - DAY Larry approaches a car with an expired meter and feeds a quarter into it just before the Parking Cop can write the ticket. PARKING COP Hey, you can't feed other people's meters! LARRY Well, you sure didn't have a problem with it the other day when I accidentally fed someone else's meter! Remember? Frustrated, the Parking Cop tries moving to the next expired meter, but Larry dashes ahead and drops another quarter in it. PARKING COP It's illegal to feed other people's meters, sir! LARRY These are all my cars. Every single one on this block. The Parking Cop sighs, defeated, and writes Larry another ticket. He hands it to Larry and walks away. Larry reads the ticket: Illegal feeding of parking meters - $350.

Last night my BF woke up ( we were in bed together) and told me he had a dream where he found out that I was on Grindr and was hooking up with randoms. We have been in a monogamous relationship for 6 months and have spent nearly every day and night together. Now this morning we had sex and he jumped into the shower and then went to work. Lucia Toretto is your average nowhere girl, sitting in her nowhere land, making all her nowhere plans for nobody, that is until she met Jason O'Conner, a bad boy from the bad part of Vice City, Jason has an ambitious dream, to be the most free man in the world, no authority, no one to tell him what to do, what to think, what to say, etc. Lucia is enamored with Jason's ambition for absolute freedom, and she herself wants in to, so she leaves her home and family and starts her new life with Jason.

Eventually, the small robberies turned into medium scale heists, gaining them the attention of the Vice City underworld, including the head of a major cartel operating in Vice City, Tony Mendez, the King of Vice.
Tony has his goons contact Jason and Lucia through cryptic phone messages telling them to answer payphones throughout the cities to do random jobs like blowing up a rival drug factory or assassinating major billionaire and pseudo space expert Adam Dusk.
After the payphone missions were done, Jason and Lucia are asked to meet Tony face to face at his mansion in the Gator Keys. You are now given a choice, join Tony's gang and be rich for the rest of their lives with the opportunity to do major jobs, or continue being drifters and keep on running from the law.
ACCEPT TONY'S OFFER
Let the good times roll, Jason and Lucia accepts Tony's offer and they start pulling major heists like bank jobs, jewelry stores, cargo planes, etc. They become incredibly rich by this point of the story, being able to afford mansions, sports cars, expensive suits, high-end weapons, etc.
However, this all wouldn't last long, Tony eventually grows distrustful towards Jason and Lucia, as they become more and more arrogant the richer they get, he fears they might overtake them, so he sets up an ambush. Jason and Lucia barely survives, but they are determined to get revenge on Tony for betraying them. They storm into Tony's mansion and attempts to kill him, but he escapes via helicopter.
With Tony's mansion taken over, they start their own cartel, rivalling Tony's. They start doing their own high end heists with the knowledge and skills they gained before Tony betrayed them, they also get into the drug business. Manufacturing and importing drugs from Latin America, and selling them on the streets.
Occasionally, Tony would try to sabotage Jason and Lucia's operations and even try to kill them, all to little success. That is until, Jason and Lucia's mansion is burned down by Tony's goons along with all the money they gained throughout their career, resetting them back to ground zero.
Jason and Lucia are poor again, they are once again determined to take out Tony Mendez once and for all. They track down Tony's location on a small Cuban island off the coast and they fly directly onto Tony's hideout, crashing the plane and causing the facility to catch on fire. They make their way to Tony, who tries to flee via helicopter again, this time he wouldn't be so lucky, Jason and Lucia hits the chopper with everything they have, bringing the chopper down, it crashes onto the concrete, and explodes. Tony manages to crawl out of the wreck severely injured, Jason and Lucia walks up to the wreck and sees Tony struggling on the ground, Lucia shoots Tony with a pistol, ending him.
They fly back to Florida, still poor, and decides the crime life isn't worth living anymore so they starting living on a low profile to avoid the authorities.
The end.
REJECT TONY'S OFFER
Jason and Lucia continue being drifters, constantly switching between safehouses, doing the same small-time heists for long ends of time, they are moderately wealthy but only up to a point.
Eventually the feds caught up with them, while on their way to another job, their car is ambushed and the couple are mercilessly gunned down by federal agents, killing them, and that's the end of their story.

I (20M) just went out with a girl (18F), who was in the same project group as me during the semester. We are both on campus during the summer, and during the end of the project, I had suggested we get together and hang out. She had responded to that with excitement.
Fast forward to earlier in this week, I texted her asking how she was doing and how the rest of her week was like. Saying this, I asked her if the two of us could go out and grab a cup of coffee in a cafe close to campus. I phrased this message in a way that I intended it as a date, but didn't explicitly state so. She responded by saying, "that sounds lovely!", and we worked around our schedule to go out last Friday.
The date went well from my end. I gave her a hug when we met and walked together to the cafe. We made reasonably good conversation - nothing out of the ordinary - with very small periods of silence (few seconds) when we'd be eating our meal or sipping our drink. There were laughs, giggles, talks about the future, talks about our interests, hobbies, activities on campus, family etc. . She also asked me to apply for the orientation assistant job in the summer, since she did not know anybody who was planning on doing that. Thinking that I enjoyed getting to know her, I suggested some other outing ideas, such as exploring another restaurant in town, or cooking together since we would be preparing our own meals over the summer. She responded positively, but also said that it would be good for us to bring our friends, and that it doesn't always have to be the two of us. I responded positively then, but got a little weirded out by her suggestion.
However, what is throwing me off is that when the bill came, I offered to pay, and she let me pay WITHOUT any insistence to split. I know that she is not a traditional girl who expects the man to pay irrespective of her attraction for him (she is pretty liberal and modern that way), so this made me think that she saw it as a date.
We walked back and had a good conversation, but when we parted ways, she waved, smiled and thanked me for the meal. I said good night and walked away.
I am so incredibly confused by what has happened. Some of my friends are telling me to text and clarify my intentions and how I saw our outing, while my mother and one of her friends is telling me to give it a break and go ahead with the group events, since she may just be looking for her friends' opinion. I am very new to dating and am overwhelmed with this situation, but my mother is telling me to believe in god since she thinks that everything has gone well. From my end, I don't think I did anything wrong. But what do you guys think?
