The Clash of MBTI Titans: A Sensational Symphony of Personalities
2023.06.11 02:51 TheCanadianSapien The Clash of MBTI Titans: A Sensational Symphony of Personalities
Once upon a sensational night in a bustling bar, an ensemble of diverse personalities gathered, each embodying a unique MBTI type. The air crackled with excitement as the ESFP (The Performer), ENFP (The Champion), and ESTP (The Dynamo) sauntered in, exuding contagious energy and captivating the attention of everyone present. Little did they know that fate had something extraordinary in store for them.
As they spotted the pool table, their eyes ignited with a fiery passion, and a friendly game commenced. Their skills intertwined in a dazzling display of talent, drawing the attention of onlookers who couldn't tear their gaze away from this mesmerizing spectacle. The bar transformed into an arena of joy and camaraderie, where the ESFP's captivating moves, the ENFP's infectious spirit, and the ESTP's fearless dynamism set the stage ablaze.
Suddenly, amidst the euphoria, the bar doors swung open, and an authoritative presence entered—the ENTJ (The Commander). Their confident stride and commanding aura signaled a shift in the atmosphere. Determined to optimize the party experience, they unleashed their strategic prowess and orchestrated a transformation, turning the bar into a symphony of efficiency and exhilaration.
But just as the night seemed unstoppable, a clash erupted, threatening to disrupt the harmonious energy. The fight, Texan in style, unleashed chaos that echoed through the bar's walls. However, the extraordinary individuals, driven by their MBTI types, rose to the challenge with awe-inspiring resilience.
The ESFP, embodying their role as The Performer, used their agility to navigate the battlefield like a master showman. They twirled, flipped, and pirouetted, transforming aggression into a dance of laughter and merriment.
The ENFP, The Champion, channeled their inner warrior, wielding their persuasive prowess to unite the fighters with a rallying cry. Their magnetic charm and empathetic spirit transformed fists into open hands, and adversaries into allies.
The ESTP, The Dynamo, charged headfirst into the fray, harnessing their fearless nature to defuse tensions. With lightning speed, they weaved through the chaos, redirecting conflict towards friendly challenges that showcased strength rather than violence.
Meanwhile, the ENTJ, The Commander, emerged as a beacon of authority, their strategic mind dissecting the fight with surgical precision. They swiftly analyzed the situation, dispelled aggression, and led the way towards peaceful resolutions, turning adversaries into collaborators.
The ENFJ, The Teacher, stepped forward with their nurturing spirit and empathetic wisdom. They lent a listening ear to the fighters, guiding them towards understanding, and unveiling the transformative power of compassion and shared perspectives.
Observing the scene with a calm demeanor, the ISTP, The Craftsman, crafted their intervention with precision. Their mastery of martial arts and precise control disarmed aggression, their movements a testament to the artistry of conflict resolution.
As their combined efforts reverberated, the clash transformed into an epic tale of growth and connection. The bar, once a battleground, now witnessed the birth of unexpected friendships and unbreakable bonds. Laughter and shared stories echoed throughout, filling the air with a sense of triumph and harmony.
In this grand amalgamation of sensational personalities and their MBTI types, the bar became a microcosm of human potential and resilience. It exemplified the transformative power of unity, compassion, and understanding, reminding us that even amidst chaos, the extraordinary can emerge, and the ordinary can become extraordinary.
And so, the night unfolded, a legendary tale forever etched in the hearts of those present, serving as a testament to the magic that transpires when diverse souls come together in a symphony of connection, laughter, and unyielding spirit.

2023.06.11 02:38 TheGupie I shouldn't have let the stray inside
Let me start this off by saying no, this is not some PTSD-induced incident. No, it's not the stress. No, I'm not crazy and you need to listen to me before, this happens to someone else. It all started several weeks ago during the best day of my life. The day I found out that I was pregnant with my first child. Everything was amazing, we called both of our parents. We threw a party. We celebrated, and we were filled with joy and amazement. Then we went to the doctor, everything was fine with the child, but there was a problem. You see when I was 8, I was diagnosed with a generalized anxiety disorder and prescribed Alprazolam. This could cause complications with the pregnancy, and I could no longer take the drug. Instead, I would swap over to a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor that would still work without affecting my baby. So, I swapped over to the new medication and went on with my life. Now it didn't work as well as the previous ones and I would still find myself being overwhelmed, but I could cope with it.
During all this Greg, my husband, was amazing. He did everything to help make my life easier, from the big things like taking over most chores around the house to small things like rubbing my feet after a long day at work, just staring into the deep wells of his bright sky-blue eyes would make my worries disappear, he was my rock. Then we got an unexpected phone call. Greg’s father, Travis had a nasty fall in his garage, damaging his spinal cord. He needed emergency surgery and even in the best case, he would stay wheelchair-bound for several months. Travis lives alone down in Florida and he had no one to take care of him. So we did the only thing we could. Greg took a leave from work and flew down to Florida to take care of him while he recovered from his surgery. And while this might sound selfish, I was really worried about what I would do without him. And soon, that tiny house we lived in began to feel like a giant, empty mansion. And I never felt as alone as I did in those weeks. I would come home every day after work. From some microwave food or order out from some delivery service. And then I would sit alone on the couch and watch TV until I fell asleep. Wake up and do it all again. Not the healthiest thing for an expecting mother, I suppose.
And then one particularly stormy night, as I was coming home from work, The rain was cascading down it seemed like it was some sort of torrential rainfall or some terrifying storm that was blowing in. The wind was howling. Thunder cracked in the distance. A freezing gust breeze blew through the neighborhood. The trees swayed, bent, and cracked under the weight of that wind. It seemed like it would be one hell of a storm. And then I saw it. Sitting in the corner of the driveway. This little cat. It was a tiny black cat. And he looked so small, and drenched by this torrential downpour. And I felt so bad for the little guy. He must be so cold. So I got out of the car. Quickly ran over to him and surprisingly, he didn't flinch or run away. He just sat there staring at me with those large amber eyes. I quickly scooped him up into my arms and carried him inside. He looked a bit malnourished. He was thin and scrawny, with his fur matted against his body, completely soaked. So I got out my hair dryer and a towel. I set it to a low heat and dried the cat. I then got him some food, an old can of tuna we had in the cupboard. Now at first, the cat was somewhat catatonic. It seemed that the severe cold and malnourishment left him in a bit of a state. But I tried to be very gentle gave him some food and I put him in an old cardboard box with a blanket inside, and left him alone so he could rest.
After my escapades with this animal, I made myself a quick microwaved dinner, turned on the TV, sat down, and flipped to one of my shows. Eventually, the pictures on the screen began to blur as my eyes began to droop down, with the relaxing pitter-patter of the rainfall and howling winds outside. As my eyelids drooped lower and lower down I drifted off into dreams.
But this dream was different. it was a strange dream, something I'd never felt before. And I awoke with a start, terrified. My heart was beating out of my chest and my breath was coming hard and fast. It was a nightmare like I've never felt before. Now, I don't remember any monsters or people hunting me or anything like that, not even any visual from the dream. The only thing that I could recall. Was a feeling of something watching me, something very, very hungry watching. And I jerked open my eyes looking around in a panic. And froze, as my blood ran cold, sitting next to me on the couch was that cat. Staring up at me with those large amber eyes, but these eyes weren’t normal. There was something wrong with them. Something all too human in them. I freaked out, jumped up, and backed away from it. Now don't judge me too hard for this, But I ran out of the room, opened the front door, grabbed a broom from the cupboard, and chased the cat out of my house into the dark cold rainstorm. Then I slammed the door behind me locking it tight. Only when that strange animal was outside could I relax again. Eventually, when I sat back on the couch and started thinking it all through, I felt so stupid. It was just a cat. That weird human-like intelligence behind its eyes, that that was just my imagination, just something left over from that nightmare and I honestly reacted badly and I shouldn't have chased him out. Well, it's too late now, and after about an hour of sitting on the couch again and watching some more shows, I eventually fell asleep again.
Now when I woke up in the morning, I had all but forgotten of the cat. So I woke up, got off the couch, and did my normal morning routine. I had a shower, got dressed, made myself some breakfast, and then got ready to leave. When I reached for the handle to open the front door, something was wrong. I heard something moving outside the door. It wasn't big, it wasn't a loud sound. It was as if some small animal had started running away from my front door, and I remember the cat and felt really bad. The poor animal must have been out there all night trying to avoid the rainstorm. I could hear him running away, and I couldn't do much at this point. So I opened the door, took my keys, and went to work. From then on though it kept happening. Every time got home from work I would hear the cat around, always outside of my eyesight, but I could always hear him there in the background. When I would leave for work, he would run away from the front door. When I got back, he would run away into the bushes in the corner of the driveway. I didn't really see the cat again, not for at least two weeks. But I could always hear him, and it bothered the hell out of me. I did try to befriend him again. Getting some catnip from a local pet store and some cat food which I left outside. I hoped maybe I could repair the damage I did to my relationship with this cat. But things didn't get better. In fact, they got a lot worse.
But eventually, I did see the cat again. I was making dinner for myself, and outside the window of the kitchen, I saw it sitting there in the corner in the shadows. Those large amber eyes stared up at me from the bushes. And it filled me with some strange dread. Those eyes look wrong. The moment our eyes met he bolted back into the shadows, disappearing from my view. And this pattern continued. At times when I would think I was alone, I would get this strange feeling of being watched. I went I would take the initiative and start searching. I would always, invariably find those large amber eyes staring at me. Through a window, or a crack in the door. The only place I felt safe was in my bedroom. So I stopped watching TV at night. And then even that changed. You see, after a particularly bad day at work when I was feeling so overwhelmed. I got home, I got in bed and I just wanted to fall asleep and forget the world. Then I heard some scratching. That wasn't possible. I was on the second floor of the house. There was a window, but there were no trees outside of it. There was no easy access to it. It isn't something you could easily climb or access. Yet I heard something at that window. And when I looked over, I saw a pair of large amber eyes staring at me. Which then bolted, dropping two stories to the ground miraculously and then running off into the shadows again. This was not possible. However, the hell did it get to my window?
At that point, I had had enough. I called the pest control specialist and told them there was a stray cat in my yard and I wanted it gone. Their large, burly man came one day in a beat-up truck. Screeched down the driveway, pulling in and stopping for Huff. The man peeled himself out of the car a large and overweight man that seemed covered in scratches and scars from who knows what. He seemed perfect for what I needed. I told him there was this cat and I needed it to go anyway, doesn't matter how. He looked at me and I could tell he was thinking I was on hysteric Karen, but I didn't care. He said with a grunt. Sure, I'll handle it. I'll put up some traps outside. It’ll be gone in the morning.
But the strange thing was I never did see that man again. He did place some traps around my yard, but he never did collect them. I called his company's number, but nobody ever answered, and I had to assume he'd probably fled town for some or another reason and forgotten all about my job. but to his credit, the cat didn't show up again. At least not for the next week. But when he did return it was so much worse. You see, he stopped hiding as much from me. I would catch him watching me more often, and when our eyes met, he would wait for a bit, watch, and turn around and walk away. The more he watched me, the more I watched him back, and the more I noticed strange things about it. Yes, it had those strange human-like eyes, but there was more to it. Now that I started paying attention, I noticed that its front paws were longer than they should be. They honestly look a lot like the length of human arms would be. it just tucked them into his fur so you don't notice normally. Then there were its paws, I could swear it looked like there were almost thumb-like growths on the side of them.
Honestly, at that point I was pretty scared, so I called another pest control specialist. Which sent out another person. After a few days, they told me there were no cats around, they couldn't find anything and there was nothing to remove. Bloody idiot. So I tried another company and then another. At that point, I had tried at least seven different pest control agents and none of them could find this bizarre cat. But strangely at this point was starting to get less scared of the creature, it did deeply disturb me, but at the same time, it was always at a distance. It never approached me. Sure, it did watch me, and that scared me. But it never did anything. So even though I saw it, I stopped feeling threatened by it. I just felt that it was wrong. So, I decided that I would put it out of my head that this was a source of stress I didn't need and I would just ignore the animal and forget about it.
It largely helped. Even though I kept seeing the creature, I stopped getting scared and I stopped really doing anything about it. I just figured that it's a weird cat and I'll leave it alone. But that was a mistake. I should have gotten the hell out of there. I should have gotten a gun and shot the bloody thing. I don't know what I should have done, but I shouldn't have done what I did. Because the cat started getting more comfortable, it stopped running when it caught my gaze. It stopped fleeing every time I was around it. I would find it watching me for longer, but I just kept ignoring it. And then one night, I awoke in the early morning, but something was very, very wrong. I opened my eyes and looked around the room. It was dark, but I could still see a faint light coming in from the curtains. But I couldn't move.
My arms wouldn't respond. My legs didn't move. I couldn't roll over or move my head. I could just lie there and blink. Now at first, I panicked, and I was freaking out, I tried desperately to figure out what was happening. But after a few minutes, I realized this had happened before. When I was a child. There were a few nights when I was affected by sleep paralysis. Where I would wake up and for a few minutes I wouldn't be able to move until eventually I would regain control of my body and I'd be fine. So, I just have to wait it out and not stress.
So, I lay there for a few seconds. Until a sound, broke the dead silence of the night. The sharp sound of breaking glass, but no footsteps, no sounds of people, nothing like that. It was just breaking glass. And then? The door handle moved. But there were no sounds of footsteps, just the rattle of the handle. The door slowly pushed open with a loud creek as a small black form slithered into the room. A pair of glowing amber eyes caught my gaze, and I could swear you could see a small furry grin appear on its catlike muzzle. At that moment, I could see it in his eyes. Not just a human-like intelligence, but a hunger? Next, the creature did something so bizarre, it stood up on its hind legs and slowly with the grace of an old-timey gentleman sauntered over to the bed, disappearing from my view. Then something slithered up onto the bed underneath the covers. I could see it, I couldn’t move or even scream, but I could hear the crinkle of the bed sheets as it pushed its way toward me. Then an excruciating pain filled my stomach, the pain was unbearable and never-ending it felt like something was tunneling through my flesh until eventually, I blacked out.
I awoke in a blood-soaked bed; with a shaky hand, I grabbed my cell phone and dialed an ambulance. After hours of tests, the doctors told me, I had a sleep paralysis incident, leading to a panic attack which caused a miscarriage. I was in a horrible state, full of fear and a deep hatred of that monster, I wanted nothing more than revenge. So, I left the hospital and went to a gun store. Apparently, I couldn’t get a gun that day, but I could get a crossbow, So I bought what I could get, a hunting crossbow with some bolts, and headed home. But that thing didn’t show up. I waited for hours. So I sat down at my computer and started writing this, crossbow at my side and waiting for the familiar feeling of being watched. After hours I finally did feel it again and looked up out my window to see not one but two pairs of eyes. One glowing amber pair and one sky-blue pair, the exact same shade of sky-blue I’ve seen a thousand times before. I froze staring at the uncanny human intelligence of the sky-blue eyes and felt a strange familiarity to it. After a few seconds, the pair fled back into the shadows leaving me sitting here in tears. What should I do?

2023.06.11 02:19 Sea-Sympathy5350 My neighbor is a psycho, later confirmed by the Police
I moved into my current home 2 years ago and I met my neighbor a few times out in his front yard, and we spoke sparingly as he wasn’t the friendliest person. During those talks I found out he was a park ranger for 27 years and had retired about 10 years ago. He as well as myself lived alone, me due to my wife’s infidelity 7 years ago and we had no kids between us, he was a bachelor and had never had a family due to that. He was pleasant during our talks but very low key and didn’t elaborate on any of the subjects just a quick type of response. I felt that he was not all there, but never could place my finger on what made me feel this way. He spent most of his days and nights in his garage. I could hear his music playing loudly and could always tell when he was in there. He had a van with tinted windows, he rarely drove it during the day but late at night, he would take the van and drive off. I was a night owl and could see him leave from my front window and he would return like 2 to 3 hours later. I found it strange but had no reason to question him. About 6 months went past and he would go out in the van once every few weeks. I had questions but I made up of scenarios in my own head maybe he was going on dates and his date worked during the day, or he was just on a hook up or something. He was 67 when we met, that would make him close to 70 now and hook ups at 70 were just not something I thought he could be doing.
About 3 weeks later I was shocked to see police rushing up to his house with guns drawn. As I stared out my front window as I could see the police take him out of his home with his hands cuffed behind his back. I walked out and spoke with an officer, he explained that there would be a detective to come talk to me shortly and that’s all he could tell me. I stood outside on the sidewalk from across the street. They had his garage door opened and the police were looking through all his belongings. I could see stacks of newspapers and chicken wire all over the place but that was about all. I was just trying to figure out what was going on and that’s when the police detective asked which house I lived in, they said they wanted to speak with me. We went to my house and sat in my living room, he asked if I had ever seen my neighbor ever bring any visitors to his home. I said I worked from home, and he hadn’t had any visitors that I had seen in the past 3 years. He finally told me the story.
Over the past 6 years there were a string of paper mache bodies showing up off trails in the local forest. He was suspected of creating these life size paper mache bodies in various positions and placing them where people using the trail would discover them. The innocent hiker would call the police stating they had just found a dead body. Then the police would arrive in force, it would be just a paper mache body. They were life-like and even had wigs from the Halloween store on them as well as old clothes that he would buy from goodwill stores. He completed the interview and assured me they had yet to find any evidence that he had harmed any real person, but he was having some sort of mental issue. I was embroiled in this because I wanted to know why anyone would want or need to have done something so outrageous. I was sitting in my living room the next day as a taxi dropped him off. I wanted to talk to him but decided to keep my distance.
I checked the court dockets for over a month when his name finally appeared for his court date. I wasn’t going to miss it and because I worked from home at my own pace, I was able to go and sit in on his trial. He was being charged with several counts, littering, being a public nuisance, creating false police reports, mental infliction on the person that discovered the body, and several other to do with the forest and animal rights as some of the paper mache dummies were being eaten by the wildlife, a few had died due to the ingestion of the glue and chicken wire used.
He was sitting at the defendants table and I could see him taking notes and speaking with his attorneys regularly. He finally took the stand and gave his side of why he did this strange thing. I recorded this so I could type it out as it was too strange not to be said in his own words.
“I did make those paper mache bodies and I was trying to let others feel as I did almost 30 years ago. When I found a dead body while on patrol of those trails, It was so enlightening for me and all the emotions that runs through your mind and body was for me exhilarating. I was just trying to pass some of what I felt to others. I knew that it would not have any long term damage being they were fake. I will take responsibility for my actions, I am now seeing a psychologist to help me to see the difference and to deal with my PTSD from when I found that body. I didn’t accept any help that was provided at the time. These thoughts had been buried in my brain for many years. With the psychologist help I can now see it was not healthy for me to bottle these up.”
The trial was over, and sentencing went as expected, he was ordered to continue getting help from a psychologist for the next 5 years court mandated, 10 thousand dollar fine to pay for the police involvement due to the false crime reports he created, 5 thousand dollar fine for littering and 5 years’ probation.
I have spoken to my neighbor many times since his trial. He has become one of my favorite people to be around and now he opens up and speaks freely. He keeps his garage open and there are no signs of any paper mache bodies being assembled any more. He now sits out front with me and several others from the neighborhood and we all have great conversations. He’s a much different person now that his secret has become known to everyone. Time passed and with great sadness so did he, passing away 4 years later. I really miss talking with him and hearing all his wildlife stories as well as the friendship we had created between us.

I like the doors to lock when I start driving, but is there a way to not have them lock when I get home and it's parked in my garage? It's so annoying. I always press button on the door handle to lock my car when I'm out, but I don't want the doors locking when I'm home and parked.

2023.06.11 02:10 OrneryLitigator Beware of new home builders who don’t include a garage door opener
I just struck a deal to buy a new build inventory house in Texas for over 600k. Already under construction will be ready in four months.
They send the spec sheet with the colors and trim and faucets and whatnot. We agree on price. I drop of my earnest money check with the sales rep, she says she’ll email me the contract.
An hour later I’m sitting at the bar and she texts me to say “I forgot to mention our homes don’t include a garage door opener if you want to add it it’s $500”
Is this as ridiculous as I think it is or is this actually common in the industry?
If it’s common I’m annoyed with my agent for not giving me a heads up or negotiating this point.
By the way by “no garage door opener” I assume they’re not talking about the clicker they mean they don’t install the apparatus that opens the garage door, so, no, I can’t just buy an opener (a clicker) elsewhere for $20.

2023.06.11 01:34 naikeez it's possible that cockroaches are making me agoraphobic
listen, i don't even know if that's the right word for it or anything, but a quick google search shows its definition as "extreme or irrational fear of entering open or crowded places, of leaving one's own home, or of being in places from which escape is difficult".
since i was young, i've had a horrible phobia of cockroaches. i can handle other insects, but COCKROACHES ARE GOD'S MISTAKE. even their name invokes a repulsive feeling stirring in the pit of my belly. it is now summertime. we have gotten a bit of summertime rain. that means that some streets and my family's garage get the odd cockroach or two. i no longer want to leave the house out of fear that i will encounter a cockroach. when i see one, my stomach gets weak, my heart starts pounding, and i feel like im going to pass out. something about their grotesque flat bodies and their antennae... AND THEY CAN FLY. GOD, WHY CAN THEY FLY???
it's gotten so bad that i leave the house as little as possible. i don't park in the garage anymore and instead enter through my front door (running) out of fear that a cockroach will be blocking the entrance in my garage. IT IS FORBIDDEN that i exit the house and reenter after sundown.
i am moving next weekend to a big city. no, not because of the cockroaches- it hasn't gotten that bad. yet. but i don't know how i can make it through this summer. my senses are constantly on high alert, scanning the ground and walls at all times for a VERY UNWELCOME GUEST. HOW DO I GET OVER THIS FEAR? WHY IS MY LIFE BEING CONTROLLED BY THEM?

2023.06.11 01:25 Loud-Cause3781 Help me
((Could be a trigger)) We had my youngest sons party today. It was just my husband, my 4 kids, my husband's grandma and aunt, as well as myself clearly .Half way through the party, my mom walks in as one of my kids is running out to the car. I hear her voice and frozen. I went to the door unsure of if i heard what I just heard. It was her. I dont even remember what was said. I just know i asked her how she found me and to leave. I am literally overwhelmed with emotions right now
We waited until she left the parking lot then left. I am home but i dont know how to start, what to say, how to say it, where to start. I want to puke still She announced to everyone that she is calling CPS on me as she left too
I said that my kids didnt deserve to have a person like her as a grandma
Thats when she left yelling she was calling cps because "my kids dont deserve to be with me" I know she tried to say "youre not even crying!" "LOOK AT HOW YOU ARE BEHAVING!" "COME OUTSIDE AND ILL TALK TO YOU ABOUT THE THINGS YOU DID!"
I am home and talking with my husband and trying to recount more information about what just happened but its so silently vivid in my head. Like I see the scene but the audio is gone.
My mom has spent years emotionally harming me as well as physically when i was in her grasp. I have started to a list and have been digging for proof because she has also DESTROYED me in the eyes of everyone see knows in my town.
Here are some that are in list form:
✔️It's my fault my little brothers finger got ran over, I was in the baby swing and I was stuck so my mother had to get me out and thats when my little 2 year old brother tripped and got his fingers ran over
✔️ "Why the hell would you dye your hair at your dads? ONLY WHORES DYE THEIR HAIR!"
✔️ "Youre not bisexual, youve NEVER ATE PUSSY!!!" (13 year old me)
✔️ (To I believe 6 year old me who was being touched inappropriately by a slightly older cousin) "WHY ARE YOU PLAYING DIRTY WITH YOUR COUSIN? I TOLD YOU BOTH TO STOP!" *as we both take our "spankings"
✔️ She claims I was talking to all these old men on skype, sending them dirty messages." *it was my boyfriend who is younger and heard all my mom had to say about me before i closed my laptop
✔️ "She ran away from home because she didnt like my rules"
I was at my grandma's with her and my dad.
✔️ I also has a document in the mail that proves I was sent for an emergency MENTAL evaluation BY THE SCHOOL because I posted "Suicide Suicide Maybe tonight" As my google chat liner this was 2011.
✔️ "She used to like me but then she only cared about her dad" (me at the time 6 moths old written in my baby book)
✔️ "I bet she gets pregnant in high school and drops out at 16!" "I say 17!" "I say 15!" *group laugh*
✔️ me- my bf raped me
my mom- IMPOSSIBLE YOU ALREADY HAD SEX WITH HIM SO HOW COULD HE
✔️ me- my ex bf i stalked me, threatened my grandmas life, expressed in detail how he'd murder me and dispose of me if i disobeyed while digging his finger nails into my genitals.
my mom for years after- "Remember that guy? Your kids look like him! they like magic? wow they really are his arent they?"
✔️ *me in trouble for being provocative through text* Mom hits me so hard i fall off the arm of the couch and whack my head on the wheels of a skateboard.
✔️ *like 7 year old me on a toy outside little brother wants it punches me in the nose bloodying it* Mom and step dad laughing saying i should have just gave him the tractor.
✔️ We are out front. My brother hits me with a golf club in the temple. Mom laughing says I need to watch it because he was swinging it around.
✔️ Brother punching out my front teeth, still a told story about how funny it was that he did that because i didnt give him something i had so it was all my fault
✔️ on fb i post about my virginity being given away at 17, my mom comments, FALSE. Nothing further. I was a virgin to my knowledge at least. Unless you count my same sex cousin sexual touching me as she was being touched by our "family". Which I dont. Sexual abuse shouldnt count. If you count it, please do me the solid of never speaking to me again.
✔️ lets a cousin 17 year old thats done the paperwork move in the apartment upstairs, instantly became an unsafe person in my moms words.
✔️ tell my mom Im upset her "best friend" stole my dead grandmas raised flower bed from next to my garage, She is still besties with said lady.
✔️ gifted a car on my 16th birthday. when I left I never got the car back, they sold it.
✔️ was told I could have my stuff from my moms house. I never received more than half. They kept anything they could sell even my christmas presents.
✔️ None of my siblings would talk to me then, explicitly was told by one of them that unless I am on good terms with my mom he wanted nothing to do with me.
✔️ Ask my mom to stop believing everything she hears about me and to just ask me in a slightly defensive way yes.
✔️ Tell my mom my mental health is gettin very dark again. Get told I am being dramatic.
✔️ Tell my mom I need space because it literally feels like everyone was against me as my step dad was in the hospital. She stops outside my homes unannounced to “drop” presents by, inlcuding the day I asked for space and MOTHERS DAY!
I just want peace. I just want clarity. I just want to not have a mom like this. I have been no contact for at least 2 months. I feel like a train hit me straight on after her invading my babies birthday party.....

2023.06.11 01:15 desiguycodes Uniden R3: False laser warning
I had two laser warnings in the past two days with no cops in the area.
1st warning: I was about to pass under a bridge. I thought the cop might have been on the exit ramp on the opposite side or on the bridge but that was not the case.
2nd warning: I was behind a charter bus on a straight road. And no cop car in any visible distance.
Are there other signals that might trigger a laser alert just like the radar detector is trigger by garage doors?
TIA

2023.06.11 01:09 MaxAlthusser Best way to mount construction flashers?
I got a 22 for my business and do a lot of roadside work. I was hoping to get something more elegant than the magnet on top, wires running across the roof through the door look. Noticed we don't have a no drill light mount option that goes with the brake light.

2023.06.11 01:03 JesustheSpaceCowboy Just found something cool, Regina hired someone else to deal with the VBD sickos.
You know who I mean by VBD sickos, the one where everyone unanimously kills the son and makes the father watch. I was driving around Watson and saw a garage door surrounded by turrets, I disabled them, opened the door and discovered a net rubber fried next to his chair, read the shard and apparently Gottfried and Frederik fried him after he failed breaking into their network. Sorry if this was already known about, I just thought it was super cool and wanted to share.

2023.06.11 00:49 Show_me_ur_teeth Need new opener - advice on brands
Hey guys, I need a new opener for a single garage door. However, I just want to get something that will last. From what info I’ve gained from garage door guys is that liftmaster seems to fit that bill but I wanted other opinions as to make an informed opinion.
I currently have a 1/2 HP craftsman that’s at least 10 years old. The plastic gears inside stripped and I can’t find parts for something this old. Needless to say, give me some metal gears and some reliability!
Lastly, this is a DIY job. I am trying to learn to be more handy.

2023.06.11 00:06 Shannanleanneeee Buying 3 houses up from MOT garage?
Hi! So some may remember my last post. Anyway, I have viewed the property, spoken with the neighbours and spoken to the guys who own the garage. All were very nice and I do not have any concerns with the area, or the reason the vendor is selling so soon.
My concern currently, is if my broker will be able to get me a mortgage on the property. He said he may try Leeds first but the issue is, the house is 3 doors away from the garage. Lenders will not like this.
I have viewed the property and gone past at different times, and it is not a noisy garage.
I have also had a look and 2 other properties have been sold and purchased on the row in the last 2 years.
Does anyone have any advice? I guess I am looking for some reassurance that others have managed to secure a mortgage near commercial. I think it’s classed as B2??
My LTV would be 78%, FTB, buying to live in

2023.06.11 00:05 monstermotorider Garage Clicking/Ticking Only When Closing (Going Down)
Hi - I just replaced the gear and sprocket (as the old shaft snapped near the sprocket where the chain wraps around) on a ceiling mounted Chamberlain/Liftmaster.
When closing it, a ticking/clicking noise comes from what appears to be the chain/sprocket at the top. When opening the garage door, there's no noise at all. Both up and down are smooth, just the ticking/clicking when closing. It sounds uniform, like every couple of chain links, but it does skip a beat here and there (hard to notice as its around 1 tick noise per 1/2 second or so).
Any thoughts? Thanks for any advice.
Tried to post a video but it doesn't show - will try sharing it another way.

2023.06.10 23:03 Railman20 Any idea what could be happening to me? I feel exhausted and we wueezy after a bowl movement and can barley eat. More details in description
I was working in a hot environment, my workplace is an auto shop in FL, and today was particularly sunny. Even though the shop is a mostly open space with large garage doors, it still gets really hot and humid.
I went to the bathroom after working on a car and was feeling like I really needed to go. I had a bowl movement and felt exhausted afterwards, I didn't get much chance to catch my breath when I left the bathroom.
I was still very tired and had some water. That made me feel a little better. When it was time for lunch, I felt like I couldn't eat, I only ate a few small bites of my food and mostly drank my drink.
Edit: forgot to mention that I went out to eat at a Zaxby's during lunch, I just sat at one of the booths and as I mentioned before, just mostly drank my drink, which was a peach flavored sweet tea

2023.06.10 22:36 WiscOrangy [NV] Bike stolen from apartment garage, entrance door has been broke for weeks
I live in a multi-story apt complex, where the first floor is entirely a parking garage. The entrance to this garage is supposed to be RFID controlled, so only tenants can access. However the entrance door has been broken for weeks (at least 3). I have seen a maintenance person working on it multiple times, but for that time the door has been opened indefinitely, so anyone can access.
Last night I parked in my spot, backed in against the wall because I had my bike ($2000+ mkt value) on a bike rack on my trunk. I parked so that there was no gap to remove the bike, if a malicious actor would try to. However, I came to my car this morning to my bike being gone, with the rack being jostled to get access.
Presumably if someone in the building stole it, cameras will catch them (we have more cameras in the building than the garage), however if police/video proves that a non-resident stole via entering through this broken door, do I have any legal backing for negligence of the landlord? I'm assuming I am out of luck in this scenario, but am checking my options.

2023.06.10 22:30 HPayne62 After hours of working on his classic car, the engine finally turned over and came to life.
All that was left was to close the garage door and wait for it all to go dark.
