I was browsing another website and found this comment “If you’re making payments, you’re mostly good to go UNLESS you start dropping “buckets” 30-60-90-120-CO” “Like making a $10 token payment on a $11k balance will not save you”.
I have a Discover card with an $8500 balance that keeps creeping up, however I make the minimum payment and usually put atleast $300-650 towards it per month.
Is this dropping buckets? And would what I’m doing put me in bad standing with discovers?
I’m by no means maxed out either.

There are always new ideas and discoveries, and I just want to know if what I "know" currently is actually right or if something is wrong with the way I think about these topics.
Sex is a binary (male or female) that is divided up based on what a person is assigned at birth. (Intersex exists, but it is rare, and I feel that even though their issues in society are similar, I don't think it'll make much of a difference for this post anyways.) Male and female each have their own traits tied to them. As an example, males are usually stronger and/or taller than females. (Of course, this isn't always the case) There are also traits that society puts on these different sexes. (Females having more clothing or having to wear make-up)
The way society views these traits is what makes up gender. (Women are people who have more feminine or female traits. Men are people who have more masculine or Male traits)
Gender is indeed a spectrum. Some people want to feel different from the traits society puts on them because of their sex assigned at birth. Sometimes, this is due to gender dysphoria and/or gender euphoria.
Gender dysphoria is when a person is in severe distress because their gender identity doesn't match with the identity assigned to them by their sex.
Gender euphoria is when a person feels an influx of happiness or excitement when they feel like a gender identity that wasn't the one that as assigned to them by their sex.
( I'm not sure this next thing will show up well, but whatever)

A lot of people can be somewhere in the middle (aka along the line) of this spectrum. For example, femboys. Femboys like to present more feminine in society than the average man. Although they are on the spectrum, they would still align more towards the label of men than women, and they would still use he/him pronouns.

There are also non-binary people (I feel like the term non-binary is confusing, though. Gender isn't a binary, and it's not like non-binary people are outside of it) Non-Binary people prefer to be more along the middle of the spectrum in which they are more androgynous. I think there is also a Non-Binary spectrum? I'm not completely sure I understand enough about that.
Since they don't mostly align with either the label Men or Women, then they use more gender neutral pronouns. Like they/them, ze/zir, xi/xir. (I will say, though, that I don't really understand the it/ its pronouns. Those pronouns feel very inhuman or inhumane in a way. I also don't understand the xenogender pronouns either, but I will go on a tangent if I were to say more than that)
Non-Binary:
Men _________________■_________________Women
There are also Genderfluid people. On some days, they want to feel more like a man and on other days more like a woman. It really depends on how they feel.
People transition to wherever they feel like their gender matches on the spectrum using either permanent or non-permanent means.
Non-permanent means could be make-up, binders, cutting/growing hair, using different clothes, posture, etc. However, sometimes, using non-permanent means isn't enough for society to view you as the gender identity you want to be viewed, or you might still feel gender dysphoria. Then, you might be looking for a better or more permanent solution.
Permanent solutions could be HRT or surgery. (I'm not sure if there are any more solutions)

So I am on vacation in Moab with a man I have been seeing for 9 months.
We had a great day. Awesome hike and then I drove up the Shafer trail (kinda scary but fun-like heroin haha) anyway... He started drinking beers as I drove. Six beers in two hours (and kinda getting annoying after the fourth beer but he was having fun so no judgment) then back to the room and one more beer and the to dinner where he had a margarita and I had one too. We were walking down the street after dinner and I talked about the death of my husband and how painful it was and how difficult is to realize that nothing matters-I mean there were a ton of experiences with him and I was devastated when he died but the long and short of it is that no one cares-it’s all memories of him and me and no one understands or really cares other than “sorry for your loss” which is totally genuine and really all anyone can say.
So I mentioned the Buddhist Philosophy I have read about that says how important the present moment is-since that really is all there is and how his death really drove that idea home for me.
And then he lost his shit on me. He was yelling at me how he is a Christian and not a Christian like Mormons that is told what underwear to wear or how many meetings to attend etc and I said I understand that many Christian’s don’t see Mormons as Christian but Mormons see themselves as Christian and then he REALLY lost his shit on me and told me to listen to him and what he had to say and that triggered my whole complex of being a woman and having to bow to the priesthood holding men and I got pissed and told him I couldn’t help it if I was born into a cult and that it was very difficult to leave it but I had the balls to do it and I sacrificed a lot of friends and family because of it.
Now he is snoring away and I’m moving onto the sofa and I’m really bummed out about the whole thing. I guess if I want to date I can’t bring this Mormon stuff up. It freaks out the normies.
Idk. Maybe I’m going to be on my own and that’s fine but I have to face up to that.

Hi guys! I am the Intune/Apple Admin at my job. I am having an issue with a shared ipad (Kiosk mode ipad). Here is what is going on:
We setup an iPad Pro with a USB-C Dock, connected with an ethernet cord that goes directly into a Brother Label Maker Printer. This is so we can print Visitor badges on a web app one of our devs is creating. It was working for about a week, when all of a sudden we started getting this error "Brother QL-820NWB The Security of the connection could not be verified.". For the life of me I cant figure out why this is happening. I reset the brother printer, and still nothing. Does anyone have any ideas for how to fix this?
A few things to note: - This Printer does NOT airplay over WiFi so thats out of the question. I tried - Bluetooth is not an option as it is not reliable, and these iPads will be stationed in multiple remote sites with security guards who have very poor computetechnology skills. -Cant plug it into the network because we have Cisco ISE, which is very finicky and can randomly drop connections. -USB from the printer to the USB-C dock doesnt work -This is a third party USB-C Dock I am using, however I also used a USB-C apple multiport adapter, with an Apple USB-Ethernet adapter and we got the same error -When I plug the USB-C Dock into my MacBook (with the direct ethernet cable into the USB-C dock) it works fine. No error.
Any help would be useful. This is a hard one!!

The MUN engineering faculty is refusing to allow me to switch my program from oil and gas (fall 2023) to energy systems engineering. While I understand that admission to one program does not guarantee or imply admission to another, I feel that the requirements for these two programs are so similar that it is unfair for me not to be able to switch.
What would you recommend I do to gain admission to this program?

I had a pair of 2 and we had to put one down (kiwi) due to a quickly worsening scent gland tumour, I’m planning on introducing a new buddy for my one that’s still alive (Tater) but what can I do in the mean time to keep him busy and not sad about his friend (kiwi)

Oh and PS, as mentioned in my previous posts...we don't own our house. We rent it from her parents, whom we live right next door to. So if she takes the kids to go live next door with her folks (or wherever)...I still won't see the kids. Best plan of action then? Any advice appreciated, thanks!

I know this a bit of a niche question but does anyone know how I can capture audio from my PS5 while having a fightstick (arcade stick) and headphones plugged in. I have a chat link cable that has never given me issues until trying to use my stick to stream Street Fighter 6. The stick I use has no aux port so what I end up having to do, just to be able to use my headphones, is use a controller to log in on a second account and I plug my headphones into it. I'm able to hear everything just fine, but even with a chat link cable, my elgato picks up none of the audio when everything is set up this way. Is there anything I can do to fix the issue? I just want stream to have game audio while using the stick and headphones.

I have no idea what those are or how they are calculated all I know is that I got out of top cut because of one of those.

Hello Everyone, i am 22 yo boy . After corona i am facing hairfall ..you can say firstly hair thinning then hairfall on the crown area .. Although i am alright by health. but few days ago i got my B.P checked(I dont have any health issue. just gone with a friend to a doctor clinic .) The doctor said you have Low bp . Like he said something 80 . Idk what does it mean really. What ae the normal values . another thing is my body is all time feverish like if someone touches me. Most of them will definitely say "Do You have Fever ". I was like i am healthy dude why are you saying this . and they always say your body is hot.

I mean how in the Cold War, actual teenagers did in fact get some military classes in high school. Usually more so boys than girls, but girls did participate. And of course driving tanks wasn´t much of a thing, although they could drive a truck or tractor. The Soviet Union was one of those places where military training of teenagers did occur.
Also, most countries in the Cold War had military drafts, and most armies in the world were based on that model, and teenagers would be aware that it would not be a very long time until they were in formal militaries for at least a year, possibly more, often subcultures developed around that expectation and being seen as sexually attractive to other people would also be part of the deal and the way social pressure encouraged you to take part just as Girls Und Panzer denotes the idea as being part of being seen as attractive to boys (heh, like boys need that much encouragement, it would be a bonus for them though). I don't know how common this problem is, but the home menu or the 2D cinematic mode for my PSVR2 has a very slight, but consistent, tilt to the left. This rotation remains regardless of how often I "center" the screen by holding down the option button.
It is not a major problem by any means, but just enough to bother me. I want to know if this is a common enough phenomenon that I should not worry about it. I am still well within the exchange period, but worried that I may get something worse in return.
So does your screen have a similar tilt or alignment problem? Are there adjustments or gyro calibrations that I can make to fix this?

Thus far, I've had 0 luck actually getting high on the opium I've collected this season via vaping in my wax vaporizer, vaping/smoking from an oil burneglass hammer or vaping/smoking on a bowl of weed. I'm pretty sure that the opium does indeed contain opiates as eating a couple dozen petals from the flowers will definitely result in some itchiness and maybe even a little nodding and said petals were initially attached to the pods from which the opium came. I guess eating the opium is the next step but if anyone has any guidance on a means of consistently smoking/vaping opium in a manner that's reasonably efficacious I would appreciate knowing more.

I originally wrote alot of this in a comment on the other Spider-Verse thread, but that post got removed and I'm curious to see what other people think about the movie.
(spoilers obviously)
Anyway, with Spiderman being a multi-million dollar franchise, any Spider-Verse movie is obviously very constrained in the sort of messages they can push. They can't just outright say "ACAB." But you can see Captain Stacey struggling with what it means to be a cop. When he realized Gwen is "Spiderwoman," you can see him trying to decide whether to be a good person and embrace his daughter, or to fulfill his duties as a cop and arrest her. Gwen later calls him a "good cop", but 5 minutes later he quits because he realizes he can't be a good person and a cop. The only good cops are those that quit. Gwen definitely has some cringe takes (no, your dad being a "good" cop does not take up space for "bad" cops,) but I don't think her speech reflects the themes of the movie overall, and it makes more sense to me to view her as an individual voice. (You could even argue that Captain Stacey's decision not to be a cop shows that he disagrees with Gwen's opinion and is more reflective of the movie's stance.)
I also feel like the movie had a positive portrayal of anarchism and even presents a critique of authoritarian organizational structures. SpiderPunk, obviously, is the main representative for anarchism in the movie, and everyone respects him in one way or another (at one point, Miles even says, "how are you even cooler under the mask!?") SpiderPunk is also a primary driver in the plot, actively pushing for Miles and Gwen to fight for their own ideals rather then acquiescing to the incredibly authoritarian secret-spider-society (which someone called "SpiderKlan" in the other thread.) You can also see how everyone in the SpiderKlan barely believes in fighting for themselves and instead acquiesces to its leader, Miguel, who makes a poor attempt at justifying the SpiderKlan as the "good guys." Indeed, SpiderPunk is the only one who goes his own way and inspires Miles and Gwen to rebel.
Of course this isn't ideal messaging for anarchism, the themes here are pretty subtle and you need to know what you're looking for, and the movie doesn't solidly define what anarchism is beyond "don't let anyone tell you what to do." But the themes are still there, and even if there isn't a 20 minute dialogue of Kropotkin's writings, I still feel like this is the best portrayal of anarchism and ACAB the movie could have done given the genre and franchise.
Anyway, I'd love to hear other people's thoughts on the movie and these two aspects, as there were clearly a large group of people who disliked the movie in the other thread.
