In a promotional era where we got so, so many different varieties of the dance challenge for Queencard and little bits of Allergy, this recap will go through the 6th mini-album promotional activities, with content that you may have missed. Past promotional recaps can be found in the Recap Archive. Any news and updates related to this promotion for this current week will also be updated to this recap. It has been both a tough and easy promotion, with some achievement being much harder to reach to than previous, and I think it's fair to say that the competition this time around are more or less evenly matched. No matter what, it's a win for the casual enjoyer, and may have been too spoilt for choice.

I'm originally from the southern United States, but most recently was living in Las Vegas working in tech before moving here. I decided to pursue happiness, and, the island has definitely been kind to me but, not in the friendship department.
I enjoy hiking, cycling, scuba diving, exploring new places, trying new restaurants, enjoying live music, etc. My favorite book genre is mystery, and for movies I usually enjoy comedies.
I've earned 117 certifications in the last year and a half in search of a better life, between IT, firefighting, emergency medical intervention, teaching English, teaching diving, etc. So, I'm always interested in learning new things.

Hello, I’m making this post of my experience with Dr.Brosious since there’s not many reviews for him. Fair warning I did pay for this all out of pocket so I’m not sure what Insurance they accept.
Brosious is a surgeon based in Las Vegas and is well known for gender affirming surgery, I had actually never seen his name come up until I was watching the news, and when I checked him out he was pretty cool! I emailed for a consult estimate in december, then decided to officially schedule a consult in January, where it cost $150. The fee goes towards your surgery and fun fact Brosious only does consults on Wednesday. They do ask if you’re ftm, mtf, or non-binary in order to figure whether you need a letter, and since I am non-binary they said they might require one for me.
i went in for a consult about 2 weeks later, and met with Brosious. He came in and immediately asked me about being non-binary and how long I had thought about top surgery, he concluded that I was sure of what I wanted so he wouldn’t require a letter from me. He took measurements and pictures and told me what sort of procedure would be best and where my scar lines would be. He also explained that they do free nipple grafts but I could opt out and that any future revision or post-op appointment is paid for with my initial fee. He was very to the point but very nice about it, and was more than happy to answer all my typical questions. After that the front office gave me a full quote of $7,100, it was divided as $500 upfront to secure the surgery date and $6575 left to pay after. The quote was valid for about a month, but I essentially called back the next day and my surgery date was scheduled for a month out. Another fun fact they only do surgeries on Mondays
After scheduling they sent me an email with prep instructions and labs I needed to do and which medicines I needed to pick up (I did need to pay extra for the medicine but they gave me coupons. they gave me nausea, constipation and pain pills) after that it was just wait till surgery day. Day of surgery I arrived about 30 mins earlier than scheduled to check in and after waiting a bit I was taken to get prepped for surgery. something I saw no one mention is that you cannot fully empty your bladder in the morning because they will ask for a urine sample when they prep you for surgery and as someone who has never had surgery I wish someone had told me. i had to spend like 10 min connected to an IV bag just so I could pee lol. Anyways afterwards they wheeled me to the surgery room and as soon as they put the mask on me I was out. Woke up about 2hrs later in massive pain, but the nurses gave me morphine and I was fine. They explained all the care instructions to my designated driver and afterwards I was free to go home. I was still in pain but it felt more like a dull ache, and anything I ate that day I immediately threw up, even after taking nausea pills.
The bandages stayed on for a week, then I went in to get them removed. At the post-op appointment they told me I could either use a compression vest or ace bandages for compression but that either ways I needed to keep it on for 6 weeks. I was given xeroform to use on my nipples and cleared to shower only from the waist down, they said I could take a full body shower in 3 weeks. After that appointment I was pretty much left on my own with an instruction sheet rehashing what they said, but I was always free to call them for any questions. Which I did, and they were very nice about.
After the 6 weeks of binding I had a final appointment to see how I had healed, once I was cleared I was free from any more compression and told I could start scar care. It’s been 2 months from my surgery date and I’ve been healing well with no complications. For anyone having trouble finding surgeons in Las Vegas I highly recommend Dr.Brosious, he and his staff are very experienced and do a good job of keeping you comfortable and well aware of everything you need to do. If you have any questions feel free to ask me!

Was having an issue where the the queue was counting down while I spent an hour at the front of the queue.
Reached out to support and they said that's because Las Vegas doesn't have an airport queue. Sent them a screenshot of the queue, and they then told me how to get bonuses by giving rides.

This week’s slightly belated vintage batch is smaller than usual but features 3 very special Vacumatics: 2 made by Parker and one a 51 reproduction demonstrator! The first is New Old Stock and stickered, the second is oversized with a Superflex nib, and the third is just wild! As always, all are fully restored and ready to write.

Condition (n.b.): All pens listed below have been disassembled, cleaned and restored with new sacs/diaphragms installed in the last couple months. Vacumatic fillers are something of a specialty of mine and I take pride in the amount of attention I devote to each. Any dried/coagulated ink is removed from feed channels. All remnants of thread sealant and ossified diaphragms are cleaned away. Threads are meticulously chased. Interiors of barrels are cleaned and polished to remove ink staining and restore transparency. Sections are sealed against leaks using Main Street Pens' rosin-based thread sealant. Each of these pens is guaranteed to fill and write as designed without leaks or other problems. Nibs have been adjusted when necessary to ensure that all lay down a smooth and consistent line.
THESE PENS HAVE NO CRACKS, CHIPS, PERSONALIZATIONS, LOOSE OR MISSING PARTS, BENT NIBS, MISALIGNED TINES, BROKEN/WORN OFF TIPPING, OR THREADING ISSUES.
 
Line Widths and Writing Samples: To provide buyers with as much information as possible, I have started to adopt the following line width standards: XXF (.1-.2mm); XF (approx .3mm); F (approx .4mm); M (approx .6mm); B (approx .8mm). Nib flexibility is determined by variation (max line width under pressure) and softness (amount of pressure). Flexibility designations based on variation generally run as follows for an XF/F nib: Semi-Flex (approx. 1mm); Flex (1.2-1.9mm); Superflex (>2mm). All line width measurements are taken with a digital caliper but should be considered approximations providing a general guide. Width may vary slightly depending on type of ink and paper used as well as amount of pressure applied. All writing samples are on Rhodia dot paper using Waterman Serenity Blue.
 
 
On Filling Vacumatics: Each of the pens with Vac filling systems below is made of celluloid with transparent barrel striations for viewing the level of ink, which is stored directly in the barrel. To fill, one simply removes the blindcap, submerses the nib, and depresses the plunger until the barrel is full.
 
1. NOS 1947 Parker Vacumatic Junior - Uninked w/ Stickers (Silver Pearl, celluloid, NPT, Vacumatic filler, 14k F nib). This full-sized model measures 5” capped and has the same proportions as a Major but lacks the Blue Diamond on the clip and features 2 thin cap bands as opposed to a single, wider chevron band. This pen is New Old Stock (NOS), apparently uninked, and stickered with original price ($5.00) and nib width (M) sticker as well. But it has been restored with a new diaphragm and filled with water for testing. Single black jewel on the cap and plastic plunger consistent with a 3rd generation Vac. 14k Parker Vac Arrow nib). Since I believe this pen has never been inked, I didn’t take a writing sample for sake of preservation. But a vintage Parker M usually corresponds to a modern F, which is what I designate as a F according to the standards above. If you’d like to buy this pen and don’t mind it being dipped, I’d be happy to test it out for you to confirm its smoothness and writing characteristics. But Parker’s nib-finishing dept was top notch and this one has been preserved as is from the factory. Condition: New Old Stock [N]. But for a touch of drawer to the clip, this pen has the appearance of having just rolled off the assembly line. Nickel-plated trim shows no brassing. Smooth, lustrous finish with no deep scratches or other notable blemishes – scarcely even any microscratches. Perfect color and transparency with no ambering (DETAIL PHOTO). Factory deep barrel imprint and date code are fully legible. NOS Vacs are pretty tough to come by these days and they don’t get much nicer than this one! Price: $270 SOLD
 
2. 1940 Parker Vacumatic Senior Maxima (black, celluloid, GPT, Vacumatic Speedline filler, 14k Two-Tone XF Superflex nib). This oversized model measures 5 3/8” capped. This 2nd generation, oversized Vac in black features a wide chevron cap band, double black jewels, aluminum Speedline filler, and blue diamond clip signifying Parker’s lifetime guarantee. Most Vac nibs are rather rigid. But once in a blue moon you get a surprise like this one. The commensurably oversized 14k Two-Tone Vac Arrow nib is Super-Flexible, laying down a smooth and consistent XF line that widens to a 4B+ (approx. 2.3mm) under light pressure (see WRITING SAMPLE). Condition: excellent [B]. Gold-plated trim is clean with no notable wear aside from a sliver of brassing on the blind cap tassie and high-point slivers on the arrow of the clip. Celluloid has a smooth lustrous surface with no notable blemishes apart from some pin-sized marks on the plastic here and there and some cloudiness on the surface of the hard rubber section. Additional polishing could possibly remove it, but I wasn’t having any luck and I didn’t want to over-polish. The only other noteworthy issue is some cosmetic wear to the plating on the filler that does not affect function. Good transparency with some ambering but ink level fully visible (DETAIL PHOTO). Manufacturer imprint and date code on barrel are deep and fully legible. Price: $420 SOLD
 
3. 1990s Ariel Kullock Parker 51 Demonstrator Repro (transparent lucite, NPT, Vacumatic filler, Octanium XF nib). This full-sized model measures a hair over 5 1/2” capped. In the 90s and early-2000s Ariel Kullock was known as a prolific craftsman of vintage FP reproductions and customizations. He’s perhaps best well known for his custom Parker 51s, whose caps he adorned and engraved and whose barrels he offered in an astonishing array of colors and patterns. He also made custom demonstrators. Originally, a demonstrator was a pen made of clear material with cutouts to expose its internal workings. Parker did not sell demonstrators to the public. They were distributed exclusively to dealers, who used them to show the features of standard pens to customers. A genuine Parker 51 Vac Demonstrator is an unusual sight indeed and range anywhere from $700, for the most common, to $1,000s for the rarer ones. Meanwhile, Kullock ceased production of his repro demonstrators years ago, making them harder and harder to find as well. This one was his most ambitious: a full Parker 51 demonstrator for which even the cap is transparent – the latter being a feature Parker themselves never made. The barrel, cap, hood, and blindcap are transparent and turned by Kullock. Pearlescent grey plastic cap jewel is original Parker. Whether capped or uncapped, this pen makes the ink visible wherever it is, be that in the barrel or in the transparent feed. Original Parker filler with plastic plunger. For all the metal parts on the pen, he chose original white metal. Nickel-plated original blue diamond clip, clutch ring, and original Octanium nib from a 51 Special. That nib lays down a smooth and consistent XF line (see WRITING SAMPLE). Condition: excellent [B]. Nickel-plating is clean with no brassing – just some drawer wear to the clip. Celluloid is smooth and lustrous with no deep scratches or other notable flaws. The only noteworthy demerit are some finishing marks on the interior of the barrel in a spiral pattern left over from the manufacturing process. A delightful pen to show people just how a Vacumatic 51 works! Price: $300
 
 
 
Shipping: Pens purchased on the weekend are mailed on Tuesday. Otherwise they are mailed within 2 business days of payment. All pens that do not come with their original boxes are packaged in PVC or thick plastic tubes to protect them in transit. To CONUS locations the following shipping options are available:

• USPS First-Class with tracking for $5 Due to the delivery delays that continue under postmaster general DeJoy, I strongly recommend that the Priority shipping option be chosen. All packages will include full insurance (covered by me). New York Customers: For tax purposes, I am now required to add an 8% sales tax on any sale made in the state of NY. Ordering: Pens are placed on hold for the first person to reply to the thread and PM me with firm request to purchase (no chat DMs please). A request with the words “I'd like to purchase [pen number]” would be best to avoid confusion), to which I’ll reply with payment details. Please note that a message inquiring into a price discount does not suffice to place a pen on hold. If I haven't received Paypal payment within 24 hrs after a hold is placed, then pen(s) may become available to the next person.
Payment, & Guarantee: Payment by Paypal only. All pens are guaranteed to be in the condition in which I've described them. If I've missed something objectionable or the filling mechanism is not fully functional, the buyer may contact me up to 7 days after receiving the pen for a full refund (issued once I receive the pen back in the same condition as sold). My best friend and I talked about this last night and they mentioned things that I had forgotten, probably as a trauma response. I get so angry that he has found success when he deserves nothing. I was young at the time of dating him and didn’t know how much he harmed me at the time. To start, I was 14 when I met him online. He was a little older, I think 16. When he turned 18, he told me he wanted to move to the same state as me and go to school. At the time I didn’t think it could happen, but sure enough he got accepted into a school 10 minutes from my house. He moved from Los Angeles to Pennsylvania with his entire family, including his schizophrenic father. Over the course of the first two years he was here his father would go on tangents about mass murder in front of me. I was horrified and I think this was the point I realized I made a mistake. Before I knew it, my ex (we will call him R), was describing in graphic detail how he planned to murder his father. I remember one time in specific where we went for a walk at a lake and he said “I wonder how many dead people are in this lake. Bet no one will ever find them.” When I turned 18, I started to make friends my age, who naturally wanted to party and have a good time. This was when the first set of “rules” were put into place. I wasn’t allowed to go out without him and I would never be allowed to drink alcohol or smoke marijuana in my life. If I chose to do so, he would retaliate against me. I had not intended to drink prior to 21, but he quickly informed me I would NEVER be allowed to. I mentioned that I had planned a trip to Las Vegas for my 21st (at this point, it was very far away) and he told me I would not be going. I agreed and let him convince me that it was for my own good. When I turned 21, my best friend, G, had came from where they now lived to visit. G warned R ahead of time that he smokes marijuana for anxiety (legal in his state) and planned to bring me some to help me with mine. R lost it and told me if I participated I would be “punished”. I ended up trying it, which resulted in him screaming at me in a hotel lobby and threatening to turn me into the police. My friend immediately began worrying about my safety and told me I needed to leave. Naturally, I ignored it. Then it got really bad. I discovered he was talking to a girl behind my back and was actively making plans to meet up with her for sex. She messaged me to tell me it was happening and promised me she didn’t know he was in a relationship. When I brought it to him, he told me he could not show me their chat because his phone “factory reset” and erased it, but he never tried to arrange their meet up. I told him that I knew what he was doing and he shoved me for the first time. Naturally, I kept quite and never told anyone. Overtime it progressed, until eventually he thrown me to the floor in my parents house and stood over top of me as I tried to stop him from killing his dad. For a moment I thought “this is when he kills me”. He raised his hand to me and stopped before bringing it down on me. To this day I will never know if he would have if my parents weren’t there. Finally he admitted to me he thought he was a psychopath. I didn’t know what to say, so I just asked him if he even loved me, as psychopaths typically aren’t capable of love. He said “I don’t know. Probably not”. That was the point that I planned my exit. I started seeing him less, which must have triggered something in him. Our entire relationship I remained a virgin. We had agreed to wait until marriage, though I do not personally hold that sentiment, it was a conservative belief of his. He bought me a “plan B” pill and told me that I owed him my virginity for staying with me. He came to my house unannounced (he stood in bushes near my house until I got home and followed me inside) and told me that I would be giving it to him. I was scared and I let him abuse me. Right as he was intending to complete the action, I told him no and I was not allowing him to go through with it. I don’t remember anything else about that night, but my friend recalls me calling afterwards crying saying that he had attempted to force me and was unsuccessful. He stormed out of my house and I thought I would never see him again. This was around the time I made a new friend. My friend and I were hanging out when I got a call from R’s dad telling me that R went missing and it was my fault, so I needed to help find him. I left my friend and immediately went looking with my mom. While we were out searching, I got a call to my cell phone from my grandparents home phone. It was R. He told me that I needed to go there “right now”. The ominous tone and the fact he has explicitly told me how he would kill people horrified me. We rushed there to find him sobbing on the couch. I didn’t know what to do and to this day I can’t help but to think that he was going to kill my grandmother and couldn’t go through with it. Eventually, we got him to leave with his dad and I never saw him again. What followed was text messages depicting how he would beat his parents with bats, trying to guilt me into meeting up with him and having sex, and other things of that nature. The last time we talked before I blocked him, he told me that he quit his job and threw knives at the workers, calling the homosexual manager he had a derogatory name and walked out. Skip to now, he is a big name in the Prog metal scene. A lot of my friends know who he is and love him and his music. I have friends that worship him not knowing what he had done. He told them all I cheated on him and treated him poorly, and says this to a lot of people he meets. I suppressed so much of it for so long. I want to come clean to everyone, but I know it would destroy Rs reputation and potentially result in him coming after me to harm me. He stole close to $5,000 of music gear bought for mutual use that he was supposed to give me half of (I bought it all, but didn’t want to enforce it and get injured.) I still live in a degree of fear of him as he knows everything about my family still. I just needed to vent after someone told me he was working with a member of the band “Of mice and men” and asked me if I regretted ending the relationship. He is a horrible person and deserves nothing. I hate that everyone he meets thinks that I am the bad guy when he abused me over the course of most of my youth and I just needed to talk about it.
