2023.03.15 03:24 crh805 general admission rules for Prudential Center (Newark)?

hi! hoping someone who’s been to a GA show at the Prudential Center in Newark NJ can help out.
As y’all probably know NCT Dream is having a show there April 5 and floor is GA. Their webpage doesn’t give us any details as far as policies on camping, fan made lines/lining up in general, wristband distribution etc. and of course they don’t answer any of their social media! so I was hoping someone who’s been to a GA show there in the past year can shed any insight as to how their particular event was ran. Just want to get a rough idea… newark is dangerous af and i don’t want to camp overnight if i don’t absolutely have to lol
thanks!

2023.03.13 17:16 cmc-s I’m 38, make ~$220k TC and this week I met my new psychiatrist and had a birthday

I posted last year but overthought how identifying the information I shared was and ended up deleting! Sorry mods!
Section One: Assets and Debt
Retirement Balance: $95k-ish. It’s low savings for my age, but I was under-employed in my 20s and only started making this kind of money in the last few years. I'm only semi-worried about retirement (I mean, I think about it all the time, but I'm not worried about saving enough to afford it)
Inherited investments: $165k. This is what we have been able to split so far but will likely end up at least doubled once we finish closing and distributing accounts (some are international and take forever to finalize!). I’ve decided to keep my dad’s financial advisor and have started sending him money for investments even though the economy feels pretty fucky. (Also a catch-up for those who didn't see my post last year: my mom and dad died within 18 months of each other in 2020 and 2021)
Equity if you're a homeowner: $776k ($75k lower than last year- real estate market be like…) We own our primary home + a rental property, I’m using purchase price for our primary home and Zillow estimate for the rental since I bought it in 2011 so the value has changed a lot!
Savings account balance: $45k – I have really bad financial anxiety so setting aside enough for basic bills in case of a full year out of work has really helped my mental health. This should cover about 7-9 months if we’re both out of work (that’s assuming our tenants stop paying rent too so…yes, I’m over-prepared)
Checking account balance- $7k-ish spread between a few accounts (joint, personal, and the rental acct)
Credit card debt (and how you accumulated it): $3k-ish, will pay off by the end of the month. I rarely carry a balance unless it’s one of those pre-planned pay over time things with the CC companies.
Student loan debt: $0 (as disclosed last year- my parents paid for my education and I am eternally grateful for them. Noting again because I always disclose!)
Anything else that's applicable to you: Both of my parents have passed and my brother and I are still detangling our inheritance. We’re pretty close to finishing this but we’ll still need to sell some land overseas so…smh, who knows. My net worth will change.
My salary is $170k + 20% bonus, and rental revenue is between 15-25k a year depending on expenses (last year averaged $1300ish/mo which is what I included in my income total) Joint HHI is around $325k
Section Two: Income
Income Progression: Update from last year, received a promotion + hefty raise! I’m still director-level at my company but got “& Operations” added to my title, which is like double the work and I very much regret accepting. Just banking cash while I await my inevitable mental breakdown…I don’t handle stress well.
Main Job Monthly Take Home: ~$8300 after all taxes and deductions
Any Other Monthly Income Here: Averages about 1.3k/mo rental income, fluctuates based on expenses/time of year
Husband’s Monthly Take Home: $2500 – We have a yours/mine/ours approach to finances, $2500 is how much he contributes to our joint account per month so that’s how much I count as “our” income
Section Three: Expenses
Joint expenses-
Mortgage: $3,700/mo, but we pay $4k/mo. We actually have PMI but that will be dropping off in about a year (unless I plunk some cash into the house but don’t plan on doing that)
Parking spot- $150/mo
Utilities: Roughly $275/mo
Internet: $50
Car insurance: $90 – we’ve paid off our car since last year
Personal expenses –
Fitness memberships: $300/mo for peloton and Equinox. Last year I spent around this much spread across lots of different boutique fitness spots but my office is half a block from an Equinox and they have a variety of fitness classes that I like so I joined. It’s really freaking expensive and I feel very out of place there, but it’s also the nicest gym I’ve ever been to.
Retirement contribution: 11% (+6% employer match!). I calculated it so between my monthly contributions + 11% of my bonus, I should just about max out for the year (might miss it by a little but shouldn’t go over)
Donations: $100/mo to a local rescue agency + pretty much every gofundme about dogs I see.
Cell: $4/mo. My phone bill is $104 and I get a stipend from work that offsets
**
Day 1:
6:30 am: I’ve been snoozing my alarm since 6 am and I am not feeling well, which sucks since I have a photoshoot tomorrow (it was a gift, I’m not in that kind of industry at all!). Groggily drag myself out of bed for the daily routine: make coffee, let the dogs out in the yard and clean up a bit while my husband (G) wakes up. We take turns doing this depending on who gets up first. We usually go for a daily morning walk between 1.5-2m but I’m not feeling up for it today so he takes the dogs out while I clean some more and get ready for my day. (edit to add: I took a COVID test and it was negative! Adding this to the beginning because I mention not feeling well a couple of times- it’s just a cold)
9:30 telehealth appointment with my new psychiatrist. I cry a lot while I explain my life, stressors, grief, etc. She is immediately helpful and does some breathing exercises with me so I can calm down. I have a really good feeling about this one!!
10:30-6ish: work from home! I usually sign off earlier on Fridays but we’re letting a team member go this month and I’m coordinating the offboarding process. It’s been really emotional and I feel conflicted about it since I don’t agree with the firing + I really like this person. Also I paid our dog walker for the week ($111)
6ish: we both sign off from work. We have a calm night planned because tomorrow will be wild, so G orders pizza while I fire up Owl House - we’re about halfway through season 2 and it’s such a lovely show! G falls asleep on the couch at 8:30 so I flip to some trash reality TV for about an hour before waking him and we both head to bed around 9:30. I spend a little bit of time setting up for tomorrow- it’s going to be a fun day!!
Day 1 total: $111
Day 2
6am: Today’s the daaaay!! I’m up with the alarm and shocked to find my husband awake playing video games…I guess he fell asleep so early so he woke up early and couldn’t go back to bed. The good thing is the morning routine is done so I pour myself some coffee and we talk about logistics. I take a shower, clean a bit, and try not to feel super nervous!!
7:30: I hired a makeup artist girlfriend of mine to do my makeup today and she arrives and gets set up. We catch up while she does my makeup- she’s not really on social media so she didn’t know my mom died, we have a big cry about it. She met my parents a few times over the years and was really shocked and sad, feelings I share haha. Anyway she gives me a gorgeous glowing makeover and we talk about me hiring her to teach me to do my makeup. I give her a big tip because she drove from Queens to Jersey for this. ($140)
9: it’s time to head to the shoot!! We pack up and drive out. This is with a genuine fashion/magazine photographer at a stunning photo studio. I can tell he’s not used to photographing dumpy middle aged women but still have an amazing time getting changed into/out of outfits, being encouraged by my husband who gets tons of behind-the-scenes footage. I am super shocked by how pampered and beautiful I feel! Holding up my “38” balloons to celebrate another year. Turns out the photographer is also 38 and his birthday was a few days ago so we joke around about being 1985 babies.
12:30: Shoot’s done and we’re both a little hangry but both on cloud 9 after a very magical morning. The dogs are at home waiting though so we grab a couple of gyros and fries on the way home ($20.26). We eat at the house, take the dogs on a walk, and then rest before the next activity!
5: another quick walk for the dogs then off to meet my cousin (S) and her new not-quite-boyfriend-yet to go axe throwing. Holy crap I am NOT good at this, but I have a blast making up “endzone dances” to celebrate when anyone else sinks the axe into the wood. Super fun!! The location is BYOB and S brought a bottle of wine, but they didn’t have cups. We take turns swigging straight from the bottle. I know it’s gross but we’re super close, spend tons of time together, and share food/drinks all the time so neither of us are worried about it. Both of our men declined to share with us lol. After axe-throwing we walk to a nearby restaurant and have dinner. I really like this new guy- we both deeply disliked her last boyfriend (and they dated for EIGHT YEARS) which impacted our relationship since we couldn’t really double date or spend that much time together. It’s so nice that she’s dating a kind man that’s good to her, so I’m super encouraging this and spending tons of time with them! We cash out and are heading home before 9 pm which is my favorite kind of night out ($94.31)
9ish: we’re home AND THE PICTURES ARRIVE. We spend the night pouring over the gorgeous unedited photos. I’m frankly shocked at how beautifully they turned out and cry a little bit. I don’t always feel confident and beautiful but these photos really make me feel that way. It’s such a nice gift.
Day 2 total: $254.57
Day 3:
7: Up earlyish with no alarm! I’m not feeling great again- haven’t really been drinking so half a bottle of wine may have been a bit too much for me! I edit together some video from yesterday, try to select my favorite photos for editing, and just…relax on the couch. It’s going to be a quiet day!
10:30: G heads to brunch with his friend who recently returned from abroad so I take the opportunity to get some work done. I spend about an hour catching up on some work and sending it off. I try not to email on Sundays because I don’t want to show I work weekends but I have so much to do and next week I’m going on vacation, so I really want to make sure it gets done. However, I get a really insulting text from the “big boss” (literally ordering me to make a personal purchase for him..I’m very much not his assistant) so I screenshot the text, send it to my direct boss, and immediately sign off.
2-night: lazy Sunday vibes! We reorganized our closet which was the proper activity for the day, I did about 30 minutes of dumbbells/calisthenics workout, we walked the dogs, and mostly ate, got high, and played video games. I’m playing Hogwarts Legacy but I’m not a big gamer so I really only want to play for an hour or so before I want a break to do something else. It’s a really fun game though, really feeling like it’s feeding my inner child. We cap off the night with The Last of Us, talk about it for a while, then I head to bed at 11 while he stays up playing.
Day 3 total: $0
Day 4:
6 am: Up and actually feeling ok today!! We finally get to do our morning routine: coffee, catching up on the news, then off for a 2 mile walk in the park with the dogs. The dogs are stoked- it’s been a few days since we did this! We run into their dog besties, our local crossing guard (who rushes over to gush over the dogs- we love her!), and we talk and get some sunshine. Morning walks are so pleasant! When we get back to the house I heat up some bone broth for breakfast.
8:30-7:30ish: work. Weekdays are much more boring, obviously! Around lunch, I needed to print our taxes so I went to a local coffee shop with a printer and picked up a sandwich while I was there ($10.23) - it’s a dog-friendly spot so I took the opportunity to give the boys a quick walk. Not sure if I mentioned this but our younger dog is a German Shepherd/Husky so we take him out often to keep him exercised (our older boy is just happy to tag along!) This is a rough work day…I had a bunch of long meetings but really needed that time to actually work, so it’s frustrating. Also, I have to close the month and I’m going on vacation this week, which means I have 3x the normal amount of work in less than half the time. I’m kicking myself for not working over the weekend for sure. At around 5 pm I did step away to walk the dogs up the block and greet G on his way home from his train commute. I go straight back to my desk when we came back inside.
7:45: G calls me for dinner- he made stir fry with chicken and bok choy, super yum. I take an edible to try to settle in and we share dinner while watching Owl House. Afterwards we take care of our 13-year-old dog’s health issue (he has a growth and…I’ll spare y’all but it requires frequent cleaning). Then we feed the dogs and I settle in for a night of scrolling while he plays Overwatch. I can’t stop myself from thinking about work so I do end up spiraling about a side project I randomly remembered that I haven’t worked on in a bit, so then I start freaking out about it.
Day 4 total: $10.23
Day 5:
6am: up and on to the morning routine! We both need to be at work early so we’re out the door with the dogs by 6:45…unfortunately too early to catch the crossguard which was a bit of a bummer. Otherwise the walk is super pleasant and we share what we’re grateful for…highly recommend morning walks!
8-7:30ish commute + work!! It’s again a rough one. I am struggling so much with this firing, and the person's boss has decided to treat me as his replacement EA even before letting his current one go (he asked me to figure out insurance coverage for his wife’s health issue). I’m very senior in the company but I’m the only woman in the leadership team so I am pretty angry and insulted to be the automatic choice to pick up these tasks, which I express to my direct boss. He’s super apologetic but the “big boss” is very old school so we just have to…deal. Around lunch my coworkers give me a card and cake for my birthday- I’m touched by how sweet and personal the messages are on the card. I work later than usual today so I can relax on vacation and not think about everything I need to do. ($11 in train fares)
8:30ish I get home, we eat (G made roasted chicken and veggies) and realize we can’t check in for our flight. We spend an hour and a half on the phone with support and the problem is SO DUMB and we’re frazzled and angry and unhappy but are able to get checked in. We finish packing, get high, then try to sleep. I don’t fall asleep til close to 2 am.
Day 5 total: $11
Day 6:
5:30 am- Travel day! I’m up first, let the dogs out in the yard and take a quick shower. We bring our bags downstairs, triple check our travel docs, then take the dogs on a 15 min walk around the block. I received a few WhatsApp messages overnight from someone in london so I reply and knock out a quick work task (finalizing and paying for an order). I forward the confirmation to my boss then price check lyft and Uber. There’s a $20 difference between the apps for a ride to the airport so, lyft it is ($29) we breeze through security and sit down at the diner at newark. My husband pays for our breakfast bc it’s my birthday. While at the restaurant I realize we haven’t paid the dogsitter, so I send her a venmo ($400, I’ll reimburse myself from our joint account but still)
8:45 on the plane! I was disappointed initially to not get an upgrade but the row behind us is rowdy and fun. We’re all going on a beach vacation so the mood is elated and our stewardess is a TREAT. She discovers it’s my birthday, gifts me a little prosecco bottle, and then proceeds to make the freaking plane sing happy birthday to me. My husband got video and I’m literally mouth agape in shock that this is happening. The flight is so fun!!
3-ish we’ve landed, found the resort shuttle, and are off to the hotel! We’re vacationing in my home country that I’ve never brought my husband to after almost 8 years together… I have a complicated relationship with my country and heritage to be unpacked later (with a therapist, not with y’all). The hotel is freaking STUNNING, nicest place I’ve ever stayed. We are greeted with (thankfully, non alcoholic) welcome drinks, get settled in, then hit the pool. We chat with other couples a bit, head to dinner (they sing to me again and I officially want to die, this is way too much attention). Cap off the night in our private pool area with some champagne, looking at the stars and talking. We’re in bed before 10 (which is before 9 at home lmao) but we’re on vacation and can go to bed whenever we want! Plus I didn’t sleep great last night so an early night is calling my name.
Day 6 total: $429
Day 7:
6am: up with no alarm! We get dressed and go watch the sun rise over the sea. There’s a pier that juts out east and we’re joined by several other couples, every one of them over 60 lmao. I love settling into our old married couple routine- our marriage feels so cozy and in sync.
7ish- we hit the gym! I do 12/3/30 and then a 15 minute body weight workout from the peloton app. We head to breakfast then back to the room for some more exercise lol
9am-10pm: vacation dayyyy! We take a shuttle to a bigger beach and have lunch by the water, then swim and read books and talk. Lunch was shrimp quesadilla for me and a burger for G, and we have two beers. We then order another drink each and sip on them while we wait for the shuttle (~$67.50ish for lunch/drinks when converted to USD). We hop back on the shuttle and tip the beach guy and the driver ($10 each, $20 total). We spend the rest of the day hopping between our private(ish) pool and the big one, having drinks and snacking. Dinner tonight is italian food and our room neighbors come by to share birthday cake, as the husband’s 60th birthday was the same date as mine. Afterwards we head to the sports bar and listen to the live singer before calling it a night at 10pm again. I love vacation sleep and drift off thinking about our next full day of vacation before having to rejoin the rat race. Can’t wait to retire.
Day 7 total: $87.50
Weekly total: $903.30
Overall thoughts: Like last year, I chose a week that would be slightly more interesting than my normal life which is usually work/work out/eat/walk dogs/sleep/repeat. This is one of the best weeks I’ve had personally in a while, although the professional stuff is weighing on me heavily. Also, we selected an adults-only hotel that turned out to be very popular with retirees, so the vibes were very calm and subdued, everyone was quiet and friendly, and I felt like we really recharged our batteries. 10/10 would vacation with retirees again

Booking early also gives you a chance to compare prices and find the best deals available. Flight From New York to Toronto
2. Be Flexible with Your Travel Dates
If you're flexible with your travel dates, you can save money on your flight. Weekends are typically more expensive than weekdays, so consider traveling during the week to get a better deal. You can also use flight comparison websites to find the cheapest dates to fly. Flying on weekdays, especially on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, can be cheaper than flying on weekends. You can also use travel search engines to compare prices across different dates and choose the cheapest days to fly.
3. Use Flight Comparison Websites
Flight comparison websites are a great way to compare prices and find the best deals on flights. These websites allow you to compare prices from multiple airlines and choose the one that offers the best value for your money. Some popular flight comparison websites include Kayak, Skyscanner, and Google Flights.
4. Consider Alternate Airports
Sometimes, flying into an alternate airport can save you money on your flight. For example, flying into Burbank instead of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) can sometimes be cheaper. Make sure to check the distance from the alternate airport to your final destination and factor in transportation costs before making your decision.
5. Look for Deals and Discounts
Airlines often offer deals and discounts on flights to popular destinations. You can sign up for airline newsletters or follow them on social media to stay informed about these deals. Some airlines also offer student discounts, military discounts, and other promotions that can help you save money on your flight.
6. Use Rewards Programs and Credit Card Points

7. Book Connecting Flights
Booking a connecting flight can sometimes be cheaper than a direct flight. Make sure to factor in the additional time it takes to connect flights before making your decision.
8. Avoid baggage fees Baggage
Avoid baggage fees Baggage fees can add up quickly, especially if you are traveling with a lot of luggage. Some airlines charge for both checked and carry-on baggage, so be sure to check the airline’s baggage policy before you book your flight. If possible, try to pack light and only bring a carry-on bag. This can save you a lot of money and time, as you won’t have to wait for your luggage at the baggage claim.
9. Use Travel Rewards Programs
Many airlines offer travel rewards programs that allow you to accumulate points or miles when you fly with them. These rewards can be redeemed for discounted flights or even free airfare. Consider signing up for a rewards program and start accumulating points on your flights. Cheap Flights from Newark to Los Angeles
10. Check Budget Airlines
Budget airlines such as Spirit Airlines and Frontier Airlines can offer cheaper flights than major airlines. However, be aware that budget airlines may charge extra fees for things like checked baggage, seat selection, and food and drinks. Be sure to read the fine print before booking a budget airline flight.
11. Avoid Peak Travel Seasons
Peak travel seasons, such as holidays and summer vacations, can be more expensive for flights. If you're able to travel during off-peak seasons, you may be able to find cheaper flights.

2023.03.12 18:39 MyFleetwoodMacSxPnts A body in a fish tank: the confusingly "unsolved" murder of Brian Egg haunting San Francisco

Brian Egg Was An Exemplary Member Of Society

Brian Egg was born in San Francisco and grew up there. And as an adult, Brian lived close to his family to keep visiting. For Brian's family, communication played a major role in strengthening their relationships.
Around mid-2018, the family's communication had grown weaker with fewer and fewer visits. With so much free time on his hands, Brian resorted to serving his community. He cleaned up the alleyways and picked up trash in his neighborhood pro bono.
On one weekend, neighbors noticed Brian performing his voluntary community service and entering his house afterward. But, that day marked the last time they ever saw him.
A month later, Brian's brother, Devin, called his phone to catch up, but it went straight to voicemail. Devin was alarmed by this because he knew his brother always answered his phone. In addition, the voice from the answering machine sounded less like Brian's voice.
Devin attempted to call Brian's phone again, and on the third time, it was picked up by a man who claimed his name was Nate. Nate informed Devin that Brian was out taking his dog for a walk and would call him back. But Brian never called back!

Multiple Alerts To 911

By the end of July of that year, Brian's neighbors began suspecting that he was possibly missing. Brian was familiar with almost everyone in his neighborhood, and no one had seen him for a while. Many neighbors informed the police about their worries. There were two possibilities. If Brian wasn't missing, he could be suffering from an injury inside his home.
When the police visited Brian's house, no one answered the door. However, the police did not go further with the investigation. They assumed that Brian had possibly gone out of town without informing anyone. On the other hand, Brian's neighbors didn't settle for that. Something just felt wrong.
But, the police were not taking Brian's case seriously. Thus, one of Brian's neighbors turned to social media to search for him. Everyone in the neighborhood made it their priority to always be on the lookout for any suspicious activity that might be happening at Brian's house.
Within a short period, neighbors noticed two strangers frequently entering and leaving Brian's house. The two men appeared to be homeless and used Brian's house as their own for a while. Thus, neighbors alerted the police so they could look into the situation. Again, the police department didn't take the case seriously.

Perpetrators Had Time To Get Rid of The Evidence

Alarmed by the fact that Brian had not contacted any of his family members in months, Brian's sister reported her suspicion to the police. And, on August 4th, the police visited Brian's house to investigate. However, no one answered the door.
After the authorities left, neighbors claimed that they noticed what appeared to be a deep and thorough cleaning at Brian's house. Soap bubbles emerged from Brian's door, and there was also a strong bleach scent that came from the house.
The strangers who were living at Brian's house were seen painting inside a portion of the house; they were trying to cover something up.
On August 7th, Brian's sister filed for a missing person's report. A week later, Brian's neighbors called the police, informing them of a crime scene clean-up company outside Brian's home for some time.

Conclusion

The police took the report seriously and searched Brian's home. They arrested one of the strange men, Robert McCaffrey, who was living there for almost two months. Two days later, the other stranger, Lance Silva, was located and arrested.
The two men were charged with ID theft and financial crimes. The strangers had used Brian's credit cards, including in purchasing a car.
A thorough search was conducted on Brian's house, and four days later, police discovered a storage room under a staircase. Inside the room, police uncovered a hidden fish tank. And, inside the fish tank, the police noticed a torso of a beheaded body. It was later confirmed that it was Brian's dismembered body.
Brian's death was ruled as a homicide, and the two strange men were charged with the homicide. However, the San Francisco District Attorney's office later dropped all the charges against Robert and Lance. To this day, the two men are free.
No one was ever found guilty of Brian's murder.

Fugitive Cult-leader Nithyananda appears at the United Nations!
BIG UPDATE: Friday 3 March 2023 - See bottom of post
Pictures have emerged of fugitive Cult-leader Nithyananda appearing at the United Nations Geneva!

Cult-leader Nithyananda in his cardboard-cut-out avatar-form at the United Nations Geneva.
It was reported today by the BBC (and many other outlets News-Minute, The Tribune, India Today and more) that representatives of Nithyananda's fugitive-cult-leader-bolthole island Kailasa attended two United Nations events in Geneva in February.
A UN official told the BBC in an email that "[United States of Kailasa] USK representatives attended two UN public meetings in Geneva in February".
The first was a discussion on the representation of women in decision-making systems, organised by the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) on 22 February. USK representatives also participated in a second discussion on sustainable development, hosted by the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (CESCR), on 24 February.
These general discussions are public meetings open to anyone who is interested, said Vivian Kwok, a media officer at the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, which oversees the two committees.
Ms Kwok said USK's written submission to CEDAW would not be included in their report as it was "irrelevant to the topic of the general discussion".
She also said that a statement made by a USK representative at the second discussion would not be taken into consideration as its focus "was tangential to the topic at hand".

In December it was reported that a representative of Nithyandana attended a Diwali event held by the Hindu Forum of Britain in the UK Houses of Parliament and met MPs and police. The event was also attended by Lord Rami Ranger.

It was reported later in December that Lord Rami Ranger was taking legal action against the journalist who broke the story, Poonam Joshi. Ranger is also subject to a UK Parliament House of Lords investigation into his harassment of the journalist.
Of interest is that Atmadayananda, who attended the Houses of Parliament Diwali event also attended an event at the United Nations in Geneva and was pictured venerating Cult-leader Nithyananda in his Cardboard-cut-out avatar-form.

Atmadayananda has also featured in material promoting Kailasa (Nithyananda's Cult-leader bolthole):

The BBC article explains of Nithyananda:
Self-styled guru Nithyananda is wanted in India in several cases, including rape and sexual assault.
Nithyananda, who claims he founded the United States of Kailasa (USK) in 2019, has denied the allegations against him.
Nithyananda, who was facing charges of rape, fled India in 2019. A female disciple had accused him of rape in 2010, after which he was briefly arrested before getting bail. He was charged in court in 2018.
Days before he left the country, a separate police complaint had also accused him of kidnapping and confining children at his ashram in the western state of Gujarat.
It's unclear where he escaped to and how he reached there.
That same year, he claimed to have bought an island off the coast of Ecuador and founded a new country called Kailasa, named after a mountain in the Himalayas that is considered the abode of the Hindu god Shiva.
At the time, Ecuador denied that he was in the country, and said that "Nithyananda has not been given asylum by Ecuador or has been helped by the government of Ecuador".
UPDATE: Given the response by the Indian Press to the appearance of members of a Cult led by a fugitive charged with Rape and False Imprisonment being given a place at a UN event to criticise the "persecution" of their leader, his representative Vijayapriya issued a statement to appease India where her Cult-leader Nithyananda is facing trial.

BIG UPDATE: Friday 3 March:
The IANS news wire, India's largest independent News Agency, reported today:
Having been duped, a US city has scrapped a sister-city agreement with the fictional nation of "Kailasa" that the fugitive godman Nithyananda's outfit claimed was recognition by the US.
"Based on deception, the (sister-city) ceremony was groundless and void," Newark Press Secretary Susan Garofalo said in a message to IANS on Wednesday.
"As soon as we learned about the circumstances surrounding Kailasa, the City of Newark immediately took action and rescinded the sister-city agreement on January 18," she added.
"USK's" Newark effort was a part of the disinformation campaign claiming legitimacy for the "nation" set up by Nithyananda, who fled India in 2019 while facing charges of rape and abduction.
The agreement with Newark was signed on or around January 11 at a ceremony at which Newark's Mayor Ras Baraka and other city leaders were present.
A picture on the "USK" website showed Baraka signing the since revoked agreement with a woman with a turban and a pendant on her forehead and wearing several necklaces while another similarly dressed woman in their trademark attire looked on.
Council Member Luis Quintana, who made the motion to junk the agreement, said, "We cannot bring Sister-Cities International into an issue where there is controversy."
"We cannot put ourselves in a situation where we put a sister-cities (agreement with a city) that has no human rights and (is involved) in terms of the issues that are created elsewhere," he added.
He said, "This oversight cannot happen any longer."
With a population of 307,000, Newark is the largest in New Jersey.

$BFI Insanely Cheap - Weekly Setup - Insiders Bought This Week

Setup for a weekly breakout after an aggressive move from lows.

Current Market Cap: $36m
Current Quarterly Revenue: $40m+
Current Public Float: 10m

$BFI has now reached a point of ridiculous valuation, a burger enterprise which has been building since 2011 and managed to IPO 6 weeks before the market topped out. It’s IPO was in December 2020 with growth names topping out in February 2021.
As the market began its rapid decent $BFI followed, crashing 90% from highs, during this period their sales growth increased by 400% from $9m in revenue to $43.3m as of last quarter. In 2021 they bought out “Anthonys Coal Fired Pizza & Wings”, expanding their market audience and foothold in the fast food industry.
Bringing their total locations to 174. With plans to open a further 15+ locations in 2023.
Their latest addition recently opened in January 2023 and resides at Newark Liberty Airport. With 1,200 flights a day (50 per hour). Newark along with sister airports LaGuardia and John F. Kennedy International Airport, comprise the largest airport system in the United States, and the second largest in the world based on passenger traffic, and largest in terms of total flight operations.

“Exposure in airports substantially increases brand awareness with the hundreds of thousands traveler’s passing through daily”.
They have further locations at (Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Buffalo Niagara International Airport, Jacksonville International Airport and Raleigh-Durham International Airport. Additional projected airport openings in 2023 include a second location in Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.)
I like this move by management and their competence of spending dollars wisely. They’re essentially focused on setting up shop in the most prominent spaces vs rapidly expanding on a “by any means basis” which is common practice.
On the flip side from their prominent positioning they also run “Ghost Kitchens”, essentially locations that have no store front and offer delivery only. Drastically reducing costs and catering to the huge demand of food delivery, which accounts for 35% of their current sales.
Their executive chairman “Ophir Sternberg” purchased 2,745,938 shares at an average price of $14.78 and to this date hasn’t sold a single share. Neither has any other Director according to Fintel:

Why does this matter? Because Ophir has every reason to make this business a success. He has personally backed the company and through the trough has yet to show any sign or weakness or concern to the stocks price.

They’ve also assembled a Executive team with a tremendous amount of experience in the industry.

None of which have been willing to dispose of any shares.
I’ve then taken the time to examine the reviews across most of their establishments via Tripadvisor. The average score is 4.1-4.6 stars out of 5 beating Fiveguys and Nando’s. This is from a pool of over 10,000 reviews. Interestingly, the market provides a vote of approval towards BurgerFis establishments.
Anthonys Coal Fired Pizzas are rated even higher, with an average rating of 4.5 stars. This is a very impressive track record across their 60+ establishments beating most chains and even more up-market restaurants.

With a variety winning multiple awards in 2021.
Beating the ratings of Papa Johns and Dominos Pizza, both of which trade at 10 times relative Revenue to market cap and both of which have slower sales growth.

https://preview.redd.it/zlpek3siq4la1.png?width=888&format=png&auto=webp&s=4ea48a97867ebe81d5bcf0157fbe566889216e43

If BFI was valued at merely the same valuation on a relative basis to sales it would be trading at approximately $14/share vs its current prize of $1.65
Given the fact that customers are showing a preference and greater satisfaction to BurgerFi & Anothys, if anything, they should be trading at a premium.
If the growth continues it’s in my opinion they’ll continue to capture more of the market share from their competitors.
For a $200m revenue company, management also show willingness to not ignore the smaller details and remain active at local events. Via their “Fionthefly” food trucks which regularly attends charitable events and private parties. This usually only something you witness in much smaller co-operations but is a huge positive. This helps build brand recognition and greater loyalty among customers. Harnessing the power of social media to attract cheap advertising for their brands and interact on a more personal level with their customer base.

Similar to their approach of positioning themselves in Airports and high footfall areas. This approach to advertising can actually be profitable whilst they expand their consumer influence.
Their store design, packaging and presentation are also well thought out. Showing the experience of the team behind it.

Taking a look at their past 8 quarters of earnings you can see the big bump in December 2021 with their purchase of Anthonys followed by their latest earnings close to turning positive. Management have stated they’re focused on now turning profitable which is why their plans for new shop openings are relatively small (15-20) this year. This move would certainly increase investors confidence and but the company in a far more stable position.
So essentially you have a leading chain of fast food restaurants, focused on expansion in prominent areas, with an experienced team and hands on Board of directors. Approved by their customers for quality and satisfaction. Valued at extremely low levels & two brands with unique products to stay diversified. Whilst the risk of dilution is there, for me it’s a buy. Just like Five Guys, Chipolite and many others, nobody wanted the stock until it had moved 1,000s of percent.

2023.02.18 10:09 mkultratechsec Timelines, chronology and hard facts are what prove crimes.

For those who are not informed about events leading up to and after September 11, 2001, it takes a keen eye and paying attention to detect errors in media reports. Timelines, chronology and hard facts are what prove crimes.
The following citation from the article is wrong. FEMA did not become part of DHS until after September 11, 2001. On or about September 10, 2001, FEMA arrived in NYC to conduct a 'terrorist attack drill' and were actually first on scene at WTC Ground Zero. They were the real First Responders, having arrived even before NYPD and NYFD did in response to the 'terrorist attack'... but the real terrorist that day and months in advance was the Bush Administration.
The PANY&NJ lost an asbestos lawsuit on May 17, 2001, seeking up to range of $6 to $7 billion to fix the asbestos problems in WTC and the 3 major airports in the area of Kennedy International, La Guardia and Newark... now callously named Newark Liberty International Airport. The last thing Bush Admin was about was the law, freedom, or liberty.
"Kurt Sonnenfeld was working for the US Federal Emergency Management Agency, an organization tied to the US Department of Homeland Security, when the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center took place."
Kurt Sonnenfeld was a videographer and filmed the entire WTC scene, including what you cannot see underground, like large gold & silver vaults under WTC 4 and 6 that had the contents removed the night before. In short, an elite US team of saboteurs had foreknowledge that the next day was an attack to get rid of the asbestos problems!!!
Folks... that is not a conspiracy theory. Is a matter of US District Court New Jersey record from 1991 to May 17, 2001, and Third Circuit US Court of Appeals that ruled on November 14, 2002, upholding the 2001 decision... that has been hushed up to fit the terrorist attack narrative.
