Scope of Advance Digital Marketing Course in Dehradun
📷
Think about the last time you sat before the TV for a long time Remember, even i also don’t remember. we all are spending most time on the internet, on our smartphones, pc laptops, or other devices, and with the ease of watching your favorite program, people have shifted from TV to the internet. Going with the change companies opt for digital marketing over traditional marketing doing their marketing on mobile, laptops, and other devices connected to the internet.
Important modules to learn in Digital marketing course in Dehradun
1) Search engine optimization (SEO) = SEO training in Dehradun is the act of making changes to a website so that it can rank higher in search engine results pages (SERPs) and receive more natural traffic. Websites, blogs, and infographics are some of the platforms that SEO helps.
2) Social media marketing (SMM) = is the technique of promoting your content and brand on social media platforms in order to raise brand recognition, improve traffic, and produce leads for your company. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Instagram are some of the platforms you can use for social media marketing.
3) Content marketing= The goal of creating material for content marketing is to boost brand recognition, traffic growth, lead generation, and customer base. Your content marketing approach may include blog articles, infographics, whitepapers, and other platforms.
4) Affiliate marketing = is a sort of performance-based advertising in which you get compensated for promoting the goods or services of others on your website. Affiliate marketing methods include posting affiliate links from your social media accounts and hosting video advertising through the YouTube Partner Program.
6) Marketing Automation: Software that helps you automate your everyday marketing tasks is referred to as marketing automation. Numerous marketing teams can automate routine duties that would otherwise have to perform by hand, including email newsletters, social media post planning, contact list maintenance, lead nurturing processes, campaign tracking, and reporting.
7) Pay-Per-Click (PPC): PPC is a technique for increasing website traffic that involves compensating a publisher each time one of their ads is clicked. Google Ad Words, which lets you pay for top spots on Google’s search engine results pages at a fee “per click” of the links you place, is one of the most popular PPC models. Paid advertisements on Facebook, promoted tweets on Twitter, and sponsored messages are some additional platforms where PPC can be used for PPC training in Dehradun.
8) Email Marketing: Businesses utilize email marketing to reach out to their customers. Email is frequently used to advertise events, promotions, and special material, as well as to point customers toward a company’s website. Blog subscription newsletters, follow-up emails to website visitors who downloaded something, customer welcome emails, holiday promotions to loyalty program members, and tips or similar series emails for customer nurturing are some of the types of emails you might send during an email marketing campaign.
How did Digital Marketing help to boost a business?
Regardless of what your company sells, digital marketing still involves building out buyer’s personas to identify your audience’s needs and creating valuable online content.
📷
B2B Digital Marketing: If a company engages in business-to-business (B2B) transactions, its digital marketing initiatives are probably focused on generating online leads with the ultimate objective of getting those leads to contact a salesperson. Your marketing strategy’s goal is to use your website and other supporting digital channels to draw in and convert the highest quality leads for your sales team. In addition to your website, you’ll probably decide to concentrate your efforts on business-focused networks like LinkedIn where your target audience is active online.
Digital marketing for business-to-consumer (B2C) companies aims to get visitors to websites and convert them into consumers without ever having to engage a salesperson, depending on the price point of the products. Because of this, you’re probably less likely to concentrate on “leads”
Website traffic: Using the digital analytics tools offered by marketing platforms like Hub Spot, you can instantly observe the precise number of visitors to the homepage of your website. among other digital analytics information, how many pages they viewed, what device they were using, and their source. Based on the number of visitors those marketing channels are bringing to your website, this knowledge enables you to decide which marketing channels to spend more or less time on. You know that you probably need to invest some time in SEO if, for instance, only 10% of your traffic comes from organic search.

2023.06.03 04:02 firesidechats451 Siren Song

I’d heard the legends all my life: the siren song that called sailors to their deaths, a voice so beautiful they were compelled to seek its source. I thought it an old wives’ tale, something to keep us children from wandering too far along the beach.
I was a girl when I heard it, gangly and freckled and shy with it. The sea was my haven, where there were no boys to pinch me, or other girls to whisper behind my back. I could watch the tide for hours, curled on a sun-warmed stone.
The sun was sinking in a glory of fire when it drifted on the wind: a girl’s voice, soft and sad, singing in an unfamiliar tongue.
The sound drew me like a moth to aflame. Before I knew it, I was running, the surf filling my footprints behind me.
She lay at the base of a rocky cliff, her hair like tangled seaweed, her scales like sea glass. Her eyes were dark pools as she looked at me, her gaze so forlorn it broke my heart.
She was so lost, so lonely. She held out her arms to me, and I entered their circle, desperate to comfort her. When she pressed her cold lips against my own, I didn’t pull away—only opened my mouth to her questing tongue, noting the salty taste of her—like ocean spray. Like tears.
Then she bit down, fangs sinking into my tongue. Before I could even scream, she pulled with an ungodly strength.
I would’ve bled to death if it wasn’t for the fishermen. The siren was long gone by then, and I was insensible, nearly drowning in my own blood.
I do not visit the beach anymore. I cannot bear it. But when the wind blows from the west, it brings with it the scent of salt and a haunting song in a familiar voice.
A voice I will never use again.

2023.06.03 01:29 RandyCheeseburgers01 Old Orchard Beach: Kitschy or a decent beach?

Some background about me: I grew up surfing on the Jersey Shore, so my standards for beaches are higher than I had realized. I live in Boston these days after moving away from NJ over a year ago. I like riding trains. Amtrak's Downeaster stops at Old Orchard Beach over the summer and I was considering taking this train there. I think you're all caught up now.
Is Old Orchard Beach actually worth visiting? I'm seeing some mixed reviews online. I know the beaches to the south (in e.g., Kennebunkport, Wells, Ogunquit, York) are supposed to be nice, and I would like to check them out eventually as well, but I would definitely have to drive to those because the Wells train station is only so close to the coast, whereas the OOB station puts you right there.
As a New Jerseyan turned Masshole, please be gentle. My favorite beaches include Spring Lake, Avon-by-the-Sea and Sandy Hook in NJ; any of the ocean-facing beaches on the Cape and Good Harbor Beach in Mass. I know not to expect high surf up on a sandy beach up in Maine, so a good beach to me would be one that's not too rocky or with too dirty sand, clear water, food and drink options nearby a plus.

TL;DR
My team rowed across the Atlantic. I made a map that shows the conditions we encountered during our crossing.
Backstory
I was part of a four-man team that rowed across the Atlantic in 2017 as part of the Talisker Wiskey Atlantic Challenge. Along our 5’000km voyage, our small crew rode the waves with dolphins, whales, and Russian freighters. We struggled with heat, seasickness, dehydration, sleep deprivation, technical issues, and waves that threw us off our seats.
Back in April 2014, three friends and and I started to seriously pursue the idea of rowing across the Atlantic. At the time, only one of us had ever rowed. We had no idea how to raise the ~150’000 USD needed for the project, nor how to navigate open seas. Coming from a landlocked country, our collective ocean experience literally amounted to a couple of casual days at the beach.
So we learned how to row, we went to the United Kingdom for technical training, and we bought a second-hand ocean rowing boat called “Mrs. Nelson.” Two weeks before setting off across the Altantic, we found ourselves on the beautiful island of La Gomera, Spain, carrying out the final preparations for our crossing. Preparing alongside of us were 25 like-minded teams, many of whom we now consider our dear friends.
The 2017 edition of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge launched on December 14th. We wanted to start strong, so for the first 30 hours we rowed as hard as we could for shifts of two-and-a-half hours with 90-minute breaks in between.
Seasickness kicked in almost immediately. Blisters and salt rashes followed soon after, and by the second day, we were already sleep deprived. I remember extrapolating my decline in well-being and being convinced that I'll look like Gollum by the time we make it across.
About three days into the race, having transitioned to two hours of rowing followed by two hours of rest, we finally got out of the wind-shadow of the Canary Islands and our ride became a lot wilder. Stronger winds meant taller waves and it turns out that waves do actually break in the middle of an ocean. Consequently, we regularly found ourselves surfing five to seven meter waves, which propelled us forward at 14 to 22km/h (Our speed-record for the whole crossing was just over 31km/h, surfing a wave that must have been close to ten meters tall.)
On the one hand, these were fantastic conditions as we were making great progress towards the finish line in Antigua. On the other hand, we were sitting about 30cm above water level in a boat that was less than 1.8m wide and just over 8m long in the middle of storm-like weather. Waves were breaking all around us and while we could surf some of them, others crashed right onto us, knocking us off our rowing seats. The murky night didn’t improve matters as it was often too dark to see the blades of our own oars, let alone the oncoming waves. I don't scare easily, but I was definitely scared most nights.
That being said, there was much more to our crossing than discomfort and fear. Never have I seen sunsets that came close to what we saw nearly every evening we were out there. Then, as dusk turned into night, innumerable stars appeared and we found ourselves rowing in the middle of the Atlantic under a clearly visible Milky Way. No appointments, no deadlines, no social obligations. Though seldom easy, life was very simple and the whole team sincerely enjoyed that. We talked about becoming fathers, discussed our professional careers, and literally pondered the meaning of life.
Interestingly enough, no matter how profound the initial topic of our conversations, we always ended up discussing which fresh food we were going to eat first after we arrived.
Anyway, when we finally reached Antigua after 30 days, 4 hours and 59 minutes at sea, we experienced the craziest welcome. The super yachts blew their horns and flares burned all around us. Our families and friends greeted us with open arms and led us to a white tablecloth, made ready with fresh burgers and cold beer. We could not have dreamed of a better arrival. It was an epic conclusion to an epic adventure.
Fast forward to recently, when I discovered that ECMWF publishes a global weather dataset that contains data all the way back to 1940. I realized that with the GPS track of our crossing, I could check what the conditions were really like during our crossing (I just had to know if the waves were really as big as I remember them). After playing around with the data for a bit, I ended up creating this map that shows weather and odometry data.
The wind data is shown as a quiver plot with numbers a 1 x 1 degree grid. Each grid point shows the wind and gust speed and direction for the time our boat was closest to that grid point. Similarly, the wave data is shown as a contour plot for the highest wave expected in a 20 min interval for when our boat was closest to each point. Daily average boat and wind speeds and directions are shown in a (retrospective) logbook next to the map.
Finally, if you have suggestions on how to make this map more presentable, please leave a comment! I tried to balance aesthetics and readability but I am neither a map maker nor a designer, any feedback is welcome.

2023.06.02 22:53 Alche_ How are people able to surf fish at beaches with a lot of kelp and not get snagged in kelp every other cast?

With the summer just around the corner, Im planning to do some surf fishing then, but the beach I live closest to has a lot of kelp, which I learned from last year.

2023.06.02 22:40 Outrageous_Lab_4959 Suggestions how to surf during business trip to San Diego?

Here’s the challenge: I’ll be staying at a fancy resort a few miles from the beach for 5 nights. I’ll be working most of the time but will have a free day at the end and could potentially get out for early sessions.
Without spending a fortune, how do I maximize my ability to surf and still be flexible? Rent a board/bring a board? Rent an ebike? Are there places near the beach I can store stuff so I don’t have to bring it back to the hotel and get dirty looks from everyone?
What’s the move here?

2023.06.02 22:27 Skinoob38 Classified document Trump admitted he had on tape is now missing, report says

Classified document Trump admitted he had on tape is now missing, report says
Document reportedly concerned potential attack on Iran
Donald Trump’s attorneys have been unable to find the classified document described in a recording of a 2021 conversation that is now in the possession of prosecutors, CNN reports.
Earlier this week, the network broke the news that a recording existed of the former president acknowledging that he had held onto a classified Pentagon document outlining a potential attack on Iran.
Citing two sources, CNN now reports that attorneys for Mr Trump could not find the document he referred to when they turned over material in mid-March in response to a federal subpoena relating to the investigation.
Prosecutors sought “any and all” documents and materials related to Mark Milley, Mr Trump’s chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Iran, including maps or invasion plans, the sources say.
Another subpoena was sent to at least one other attendee of the recorded meeting at Bedminster, New Jersey, in July 2021, another source told the network.
Prosecutors reportedly made it clear that they wanted the specific document referred to in the recording after they had issued the subpoena, as well as any other material referencing classified documents still in the possession of the former president.
The report adds credence to prosecutors’ scepticism that all classified materials retained by Mr Trump after he left office have been returned.
Dozens of documents of varying classification levels were retrieved from the former president’s home at his Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida when the FBI searched the premises in August 2022.
The recording of Mr Trump was created during the summer of 2021, approximately six months after the ex-president had left office.
It reportedly captures a discussion during which Mr Trump was reacting to the publication of a story in The New Yorker regarding how Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley took actions to ensure the outgoing president issued no illegal orders.
In the article, journalist Susan Glasser reported that Mr Milley was concerned that Mr Trump “might set in motion a full-scale conflict that was not justified” by ordering military action against Iran.
The former president was reportedly recorded as he waved a document and said it would undermine what Mr Milley had said if he could legally show it to anyone.
CNN reported that the audio recording contains the sound of paper rustling as if Mr Trump was waving a document around. The recording also reportedly captured laughter after the ex-president noted that he was not permitted to show the document to anyone.
The July 2021 meeting took place long before Mr Trump’s aides sent 15 boxes of records from his Florida home to the National Archives.
That January 2022 transfer of documents led Archives officials to discover multiple classified documents among the records sent back from Mr Trump’s residence, leading the agency to notify the Department of Justice about the discovery.
The Justice Department’s probe into Mr Trump’s alleged unlawful retention of national defence information is being overseen by a special prosecutor, Jack Smith.
Mr Smith has reportedly obtained other evidence which shows Mr Trump made efforts to obstruct the investigation by concealing documents from the government, even after he was served a grand jury subpoena compelling him to return all classified documents in his possession.
The investigation is reportedly in its final stages and could result in charges against Mr Trump as soon as this summer.

2023.06.02 22:12 ThatSpecialAgent Let's Discuss "Hockey is For Everyone"

19 hours ago (since writing this post), a post pertaining to the Coyotes demonstrating their support of Pride Month and Hockey Is for Everyone made its way to the top of our sub. In that time, there were 10 reports submitted against the post, 116 downvotes vs 247 upvotes, 7 bans for trolling/hateful opinions/etc, and a metric shit ton of bad-faith arguments and division.
It's crazy to me that the phrase "Hockey is for Everyone" can be so divisive. So, for the people in the back, just because you havent experienced prejudice in hockey doesnt mean that it doesnt exist.
Let's take a look at some examples of how hockey still IS NOT for everyone:
From the highest levels of the game-
2018 - Chicago Fans chant "Basketball, Basketball, Basketball" at Devante Smith-Pelly in a Penalty box (https://www.npr.org/2018/02/19/587122774/chicago-fans-bounced-for-racist-taunts-aimed-at-capitals-devante-smith-pelly)

2023 - Juniors coach loses job after pulling his team from a game that they were being racially targeted in (https://globalnews.ca/news/9671762/surrey-hockey-coach-fired-racism-allegations/)
In 10 minutes of googling, I was able to find hundreds of examples of why hockey IS NOT for everyone. Keep in mind, these are only the examples that get reported on. There are thousands of examples and testimonies depicting racism, homophobia, sexism, etc in hockey, from juniors to college to the NHL.
Next time you are about to coin the counterargument, "but hockey is for everyone," stop for a minute. Sure, hockey may have always been for you, but what about the hundreds of kids who have stopped playing and been bullied out of their respective leagues. Think of the victims of the countless abuses from active players that never received justice, because their abuser happened to be good at the game.
IF A RAINBOW LOGO MAKES YOU ANGRIER THAN THE THOUSANDS OF EXAMPLES DEPICTING WHY THAT LOGO IS NECESSARY IN THE FIRST PLACE, IT IS TIME TO TAKE A LONG LOOK IN THE MIRROR. From Pride Jerseys to "Hockey is for Everyone," they are symbols that we see and acknowledge the thousands who have been pushed out or kept out of this great game.
If you are a true fan of this game, you should want nothing more than everyone else, regardless of race/gendesexual orientation/etc, to be a part of it, and when you make the comment "hockey is already for everyone" you are burying your head in the sand and spitting in their faces.
