Looking to get a birthday cake for my mother and I. Thank you.

My son is turning 2 next week and my boyfriend and I want to celebrate a little with our parents and siblings. It won’t be a big party, just our immediate family having some cake and chatting.
My boyfriend invited his parents and sister with her daughters (7,4). I invited my mom and my siblings. I also invited my dad and his girlfriend.
My sister asked me yesterday who else was coming as she wouldn’t bring her daughter (5) if there was noone her age because she didn’t want her to get bored. I told her that my boyfriend’s nieces were coming as well so she wouldn’t be the only child. I made the mistake of mentioning that our dad and his girlfriend hadn’t told us if they were bringing her son (3) yet.
My sister asked me if I was seriously inviting him and I said yes. He is my dad afterall and it’s his grandson’s birthday. She then told me that she and her daughter wouldn’t be coming if he was there. I got pissed at that and told her it was fine, I’m not forcing her to go, and hung up.
She must have told the rest of my family because both my other siblings have now cancelled as well. My mom called me about an hour ago to tell me she wouldn’t be attending either unless I uninvited my dad. I told her I wouldn’t do that and that she couldn’t just blackmail me like that as it is my dad’s right to be there as much as hers. She got snippy and said it’s my choice and if I preferred my dad over the rest of them I’d have to live with that. I told her I would and she hung up.
I told my boyfriend what happened and he offered to do two parties, one with my mom and siblings and one with my dad and his girlfriend. I don’t want to do that because it’s silly to go to such lengths for something my son won’t even remember. I also don’t want this to become the norm.
I’m pissed off that my family chooses not to be with my son on his birthday because somebody they hold a grudge against will also be there. But at the same time I don’t want to deprive my son of a relationship with either my dad’s side nor my mom’s side. I don’t want to back down though.

Some context that I didn’t know how to fit in the post:
- I’m the youngest of 4 siblings
- My parents broke up when I was 4
- They had a longwinded custody battle that lasted until I was 7
- My siblings stopped going to weekend visits after they became teenagers
- My mom would talk shit about my dad and his partner’s constantly
- My relationship with my dad has always been better than with my mom
- I kept visiting and know that my siblings’ choice to cut him off hurt him a lot but they were old enough that he couldn’t force them to visit
- I love my family but they can be unbearable at times

Heads up that she’s been treating me like shit all school year . First, it started off with her yelling at me to give our dad even though her phone was at 95%, mine was at 35% and his was at 70% ? She never apologized for that . Then, when I was sick at the airport, she withheld my Advil from me saying “ who cares who Advil it is, it’s Advil for the whole family “ . There are more small little events I could think of, but this gives you a gist of her personality .
Anyways, March was an eventful ass month for her rudeness .
Alright so, my dad bought take out and then when I went downstairs my sister ate half of it UNPROMPTED and WITHOUT ASKING and then I called her out on it and she kept in repeating that she “ didn’t like me “ and said that “ I made a lot of things icky “ and then she called me a food narcissist after I said “ no thank you “ after my dad offered me an orange
After the persistant harassment I ran upstairs crying, I felt like I was going to vomit .
I tried telling my other sister about it, I asked her what was wrong with our sister because she was acting out for no reason and then she said that she was going to go talk to her
After like an hour or thirty minutes or so she called me and then she told me to apologize to my sister because I was “ laughing in her face “ and that I was gluttonous and that I don’t share and that I steal a bunch of food and then I got GROUNDED for “””” LYING “””” because I claimed that I did nothing to her ( I fucking didn’t ) and then I had my data turned off for the entirety of the break and I couldn’t see my friends, I could only see ONE friend and nobody was available
I had to apologize to my sister, when I was trying to apologize and ask what I did wrong, she called me gluttonous, and an unpleasant person to be around .
My dad was there too, he said he was going to back me up but he never did .
I’ve been debating on if I actually like my sister or not now .
She’s 25 and I’m 15 FYI .
At her birthday party on the 20th of March she threatened to kick me if I ate her cake ( I wasn’t going to ? ) . . . lol
I guess the advice I’m looking for is, what would you do in my position ?

Doesn't have to be decorated anything (would be nice if it's possible though). Looking for a large red velvet cake that can feed 10-15 people. I know it might be random but this is a hail mary guys just trying figure this thing out 😅

My birthday is coming up in a few days and I didn’t really have any firm plans because a few of my friends who live out of state were coming to town and I figured we would find a way to have a fun anyway.
I just found out that they changed their plans and won’t be here till after my birthday, and my only two friends who live in town decided to take a trip also one outside the country, the other to a different state and I feel really sad and lonely.
I try to avoid thinking about my birthday most years because it always just reminds me how alone I am but this time it really just hit me all of a sudden. I’m sure this sounds pathetic but my mom isn’t even in the country right now to celebrate with and just like the idea of going to buy myself a cake and eat it alone makes me feel so sad.
I’m starting to hate my birthday and I almost dread when it comes around to that time of year. I’ve always been very alone and never really had many friends, and the friends that I did have always had other friends they were closer too, but suddenly even those friends seem like they’re gone. I just feel like everyone moved on and found other people and got different lives and I’m like wait what just happened! Maybe it’s just that I’m having a bad day but this week leading up to it, its just felt like I’ve tried to deny for so long that I don’t really have anyone in my life. Not even in a romantic context but just in general.
I thought about asking a few “friends” that are more like the friends I’m not really close to and talk to every couple weeks or so and have on social media to see if they’d want to come celebrate but at this point asking people to come celebrate me feels so cringe because all I can think about is that I’m just not important enough?? And I worry even doing that would make me feel really lonely on that day because I would be forcing myself to spend that day with people who don’t even really know me on a deep meaningful level. It all feels so forced and nothing I do seems to allow me to find a way to escape this excruciating, terrible, loneliness.

I, F, was without water and electricity for more than 15 hours
In Uni I ended up in a group of 12 with Jose Liam Adam(gf gf gf) and Noah, Phoebe Amy James Luccas (bf bf bf gf) Henry Ben April Jake (singles)
Noah is like a vampire, he doesn't leave the house for anything unless he is obliged, like apart from my birthday, he didn't go or will go to anyone else's.
I'll point out that even though he's weird, we are very close, like: my birthday thing, and he is always helps me, like were going to pick my cake in another city 3 hour from ours, the same person who didn't go on his longtime friends birthday 5 min to his house
Liam and I were very good friends, he ended his relationship 9 months ago,and basically started going to my house every day, it wasn't sexual, we readed books together, cooked, work out, gossiped... But I ended in a big fight with Jose, Adam and mainly Liam because of an assignment
Liam and I were fine again on vacation, but he was strangely distant, with everyone
Yesterday 8 am there was no water or electricity
At 1 pm, I thought who to go for help, to take a shower and stay for a few hours. And honestly for me, I thought I could ask for the whole group, because it's not a big deal
James, April were out of town, and Noah has a very bad sleeping schedules,I sent him a message knowing that only around 4-6 pm he will answer
So I called Liam, he first was willing but then refused, because he didn't know how his gf was react, because apparently she doesn't even know I exist, since he´s scared of her being jealous of me (what?)
then said to wait for Noah or ask Amy Jake or Phoebe for help, and started a lecture that I always exaggerate things, and I should make it easy on everyone and only ask help to the singles
6 pm, is dark and Noah saids no because his father was there and they were going to have dinner in a few hours.
Which for me was much worse than with Liam, because Noah didn't ask if I had other alternatives, and I had sent a photo that I was in the dark with only 2 candles, and 10% of battery, and that time I was in actually need, especially to charging my phone so I can ask someone for help. He just said no and disappeared.
So am IATA for not wanting to be friends with them anymore? For already cutting Noah out of my life completely? And cutting Liam because I think it's ridiculous that I can only ask for singles?
PS: Making it clear that if I asked Amy, Jake, Phoebe, Henry, Luccas, Ben, help they would help me, but I didn't want to spend hours in the house of the first 3, because of things they did in the past, and the last 3, 2 were traveling and all 3 don´t clean their houses

Excuse the lumpy icing, my family didn’t want butter icing and I used squeezed orange juice instead of water for flavour! Also it’s just a home baked cake, so not a work of art but thought you might appreciate the topper! It made the recipient laugh which was the aim!

Let's start with the excuses. I'm dyslectic, English is not my first language.
My dad have a girl from an earlier relationship. Let's call her Pf(32). She is getting married to Pm(31). Pm have a kid from an earlier relationship, E(5).
Pf 's mom side of the family is a huge mess of laidies keeping up the appearance. (An example, her grandma was furrius at her husband because he didn't hide his dementia signs from the public and would scream at him when he told the same Story a 2nd time or couldn't remember where the bathroom was. Later, she would scream at him for pissing his pants) but my dad and Pf's stepdad did get along when stepdad was convinced my dad had no interests of getting back together with Pf's mom.
Then there is me M1(23f). I have 2 siblings i have grown up with. M2(20m) and M3(17f). We haven't been much together with Pf in our upbringing because Pf didn't come very often. (4-5 times a year)
Some weeks ago, i got a wedding invitation. 19th of August. The day before M3 turns 18. And Pf is expecting in October. And because Pf is a preast, she wants to get married in her own church before she gives birth.
Pf never wanted to be a stepmom and have come with some very colourfull language about dating men with kids. She isn't treating E very nice. An example, she leaves in a huge house. She placed this 5 yr old, in a new house, in the opposite end of the house to sleep. E cried alot due to fear of the dark etc. But all Pf could think of was, "the 3 doors where open, and an automatic night light where on too." My mother had a talk with her about it. Pf slept in the master bed for more then 2 years, and when she moved to her own bed, she wasn't more than 5 feet away from her dad, in the same room. So E ended up getting her bed into the master bedroom too. Now Pf only had to learn E not to hug her because Pf thinks she is unclean. Yay, I'm in family with an Evil stepmom! And E is clearly not fit to be a brides maid. (Pf was bridesmaid to her dad's and stepmoms wedding and about the same age)
So M3 is very sad about her 18th birthday. The day she officially becomes an adult. Pf haven't forgotten M3's birthday, she have decided her wedding is more important. "I know it's close to M3's birthday, but it was the only date that fitted in the schedule."
I have very little contact to Pf. I know M3 don't plan on attending. my mother is saying no to bakeing the wedding cake (she was expected to do this but not asked before the inventions went out) my dad isn't helping in the wedding planning thing. Partly because he is mad about M3's birthday, and becauce he have no time.
I know what i want. I want to not attend the wedding. Choosing the family that have been there when i grew up. But on the other hand, M3 and i had a fight 2 years ago, and have both agree to not talk to each other anymore.
So dear reddit, will i be the asshole not to attend my older sisters wedding?

I had a major birthday so the church we've attended for 20+ years had a birthday cake in my honor after the evening service.
The pastor kicked it off by having everyone sing me happy birthday, then he came over, said happy birthday and left to talk to someone else. No one was waiting to talk to me, only 30 people in the room.
It made me realize that we've never had a conversation in 20+ years and he's never talked, one on one, with me, my wife or my two kids. All he knows of us is gossip from his wife and daughters.
It makes you feel like "a person to be tolerated so that that can better about myself" instead of someone to be cared for.
There's 5 different running groups in my area. They all have their own Facebook groups to organize their runs. At Christmas all the groups got together for a Christmas lights tour and then some people went to a pub afterwards.
I run with the group closest to my house but will sometimes join other groups if I have the time or inclination. I've run with one of the other groups maybe twice a year. The organizer of that group was saying goodbye at the pub and said "happy belated birthday" as he walked past me.
So, someone I've seen in person weekly for 20 years and listen to sermons for 45+ minutes twice per week for 90% of those weeks... and someone who I've met twice - both put in the same effort to chat with me and wish me happy birthday.
