2023.06.05 12:03 TechE2020 MYOB . . . Xero . . . any other alternatives to look at for Limited Liability Company?
I just started using MYOB Business for a small (3-person) Limited Liability company. Typically only 2 to 4 invoices per month with around 25 charges a month for pass-through material expenses (custom for every job, no standard inventory), but there is hope that it will increase to a lot more in the future. MYOB doesn't support automatically putting charges onto an invoice as far as I can tell, so we have to assign all costs to a liability account, generate a report, and then add the total onto the invoice manually.
MYOB is a nightmare for documentation and help, but maybe once a standard workflow is done everything will be okay . . . just seems infinitely harder than it should be.
A timecard plug-in would be great, as we currently just use Toggl and put the hours into the invoice manually.
Is Xero worth 2x cost? I'm so time poor at the moment that I haven't been able to do a trial. Is there anything else that I should look at? I've heard great things about Hnry, but that is only for Sole Traders, so doesn't work in this case.

I didn't see my edit show up on my previous post HERE but figured I'd post it here.
I went after reading all your comments. Took PATCO in so I couldn't turn around. Won't lie. I cried under my sunglasses for the first 10 minutes as that learned shame and regret for time lost closeted came back. I've been to prides as an ally but I felt like an outsider looking in. I still felt like that in a way but much better. I used to be a lot more outgoing before enough traumatic events stacked up and took away my joy.
I was a bit of a loner but enjoyed being around so many people happy to be themselves. I watched a few drag performances and looked at the booths and picked up a few things. I found a few different locations that have both peer counseling and support groups which I need.
I reached out to a friend and let them know I was going to be there. We hadn't really hung out in a year but they are busy with school and work so timing never worked out. Thru came by and they brought a friend too. That really made me feel better about the whole day because I like their friendship and they are interesting and have similar interests and their friend was great too. I meandered around all day but enjoyed the time. I do regret missing the march in the morning.
Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to go and cared enough to respond. It made a bigger impact than I can write here. If anyone finds this by searching, and they live in or around Philadelphia and run into this issue let me know.

I will say I saw someone offering free hugs and took the opportunity. It hit differently in that environment. Also taking PATCO—their public train/subway from New Jersey—was a huge thing for me. I had a bad experience 10 years ago when I first took it. The train station is so close and only 6 dollars round trip AND it stop right in the Gayborhood in Philly and wasn't as bad as I recall. That's a game changer for me in terms of dates. I plan to go every other week and try to make it to a support group monthly.
I let my wife know where I'd be at all times but once my friends got there and we grabbed food I did forget to text where we were going/at. I even mentioned I needed to. But forgot. I was a little upset she wasn't there and she was too. Obviously with what I'm working on she is worried.
Luckily my social anxiety still overrides any breakdown in public. I wish I took her to the march with me at least and next year we will do that and then after I go to the party with friends if I make them. I got back late and didn't have a lot of time to talk to her before bed. I did let her know I love her and she is the first person to be proud of me and accept me. I have a lot more going on with my mental health than just the sexuality struggle.
Thank you all again I'm truly grateful for your advice, experiences and well wishes. I would have been hard on myself another year for not going.

I recently went through this cumbersome process and could not really find a proper guide besides the comments from another redditor in this thread so I thought I would make one, adding my own experience going through the process. It might prove useful for anyone interested in such a thing in the future.
I want to emphasis that the support I received from EquipmentAnnual7193 was the breaking point for me going through with this and without him neither my purchase nor this guide would have been possible.
Prerequisites:
Ownership transfer:
I would recommend also that you communicate all of these steps to the seller and get his approval in order to avoid unnecessary surprises.
In terms of documents, you would only need: the seller's and buyer's Emirates ID and original Mulkiya however I also bought the seller's and buyer's Passport with Residence Visa stamped (this might not be applicable in your case also considering that the visa doesn't get stamped on the passport anymore). On the day of the ownership transfer you also need your driving license and insurance policy (this was digital in my case).

Prerequisites:
- I guess it would all start with meeting the seller and checking out the car for the first time. I think this part is important since you need to consider a) you like the car enough and the price is good enough for you to go through this and b) the seller seems a genuine and trustable person. Obviously, the purpose of this guide is to minimize risk however it is something worth considering since even though you are covered legally, I don't believe anyone would want to go through a lengthy and stressful legal route.
- Considering the price and date you would do this (physically together with the seller, very important) has been agreed, I would recommend for the seller to ask the bank for a letter of liability for the car loan (this would highlight the full amount to be paid-off for the loan to clear). If the price you have agreed to buy the car for is higher or the same as the liability you are clear to go, otherwise if liability is higher make sure that the seller is aware to bring the difference to chip in at his bank.
- Depending on the car, I would highly recommend you do a pre-purchase inspection to make sure everything is fine with the car.
- Depending on the car, check with the dealer on the remaining warranty and service package on the car.
- I would recommend you meet with the seller and proceed with the following steps driving together (since at the end of this you will keep the car).
- Depending on the car; if it's needed, do the RTA test before purchase (I went to the Tasjeel Al Barsha).
- Check if there are any police or SALIK fines. Make sure the seller clears them before proceeding further.
- Proceed to a typing center together with the seller to do a PoA (Power of Attorney) which will state that the buyer (you) has complete rights to the car once the mortgage is cleared. The typing center has experience doing this, so they will know what to do once you explain your situation to them (I went to Malak Typing Al Barsha, which was walking distance from the testing center). We received 3 copies in both English and Arabic.
- Proceed to the Notary Public together with the seller to ratify the PoA with a Judge. The seller needs to sign all 3 copies beforehand, twice: left and right (both the English side and the Arabic one, in each copy). Here only the seller is allowed in, since they will explain and confirm that they relinquish ownership of the vehicle to the buyer (you) under the set conditions (I went to this Notary Public, again walking distance). For the ratified PoA each one of you gets to keep a copy and one stays with the Notary Public.
- Go to your bank to withdraw the cash. As an extra precaution under the withdrawal slip, I noted the reason for the withdrawal together with the details of the car: VIN, model, purchase amount etc.
- Proceed together to the seller's bank to pay off the loan. Make sure to confirm the amount, together with the seller, with the banker. Consolidate the cash before depositing with the bank teller and make sure that the amount is being paid off directly for the loan (not in seller's current account etc.). Get two copies of the payment confirmation.
- RTA will get notified by the bank within 2-3 days (took less than 48 hours for me) that the mortgage has been paid off, after which follow the step of the next chapter.
- After all of these steps I dropped off the seller to his apartment since you should keep the car at this point and also have the following under your possession:
a. the car and all the set of keys.The whole process on this day took less than 2 hours inclusive on the driving around but I didn't encounter much queue, so your mileage may vary.
b. the current Mulkiya.
c. your copy of the PoA.
d. the payment confirmation for the loan from the bank.
e. Tasjeel test certificate (this should be on your email) if applicable.
Ownership transfer:
- Once the seller is notified by the RTA via email/SMS that the mortgage has been cleared, agree on a time and date to do the transfer.
- Prior to going to RTA shop around for an insurance (I am not sure what's the current take on insurance transfer but in my case the insurance was expiring anyways on a couple of days). I used Insurance Market, Policy Bazaar and yallacompare to negotiate a quote down. You can also get this done at a kiosk inside RTA itself, but I've heard it is more costly.
- At the RTA the process is straight forward especially if you are keeping the same plates, around 5-10 min with the queuing.
- After getting your Mulkiya purchase a new SALIK tag as well.
I would recommend also that you communicate all of these steps to the seller and get his approval in order to avoid unnecessary surprises.

First time poster.. I’ll try to keep it vague… I’m 25 years old and have battled with my adhd for as long as I can remember, I’ve been medicated for majority of my life from the age of 13 to now with little support from anyone apart from a psychiatrist.. I have had a lot of traumatic events through my child/adulthood and have learned to deal with things on my own..
I currently take vyvanse 40mg and have tried strattera, Ritalin and herbal remedies, I feel as thought I have found the most benefits from vyvanse as it gives me motovation/focus and a clear and level head and I believe it is the sole reason as to why I am successful at my career…
outside of work my life is falling apart, I really struggle to control my emotions, I constantly forget things and leave things behind, I say things without thinking and even though I know it’s wrong looking back I just can’t help it… I have been having regular mental breakdowns due to my relationship struggles and my partner not being able to deal with me and the person that I am… I’m so afraid of losing her and my duaghter and it consumes me and eats me alive.. I’m seriously trying to get myself some help by joining a men’s choosing change program, seeking a regular psycologist and also trying to see my psychiatrist on a more regular basis but it’s all a long process and I need to make an adjustment or change asap.. I don’t have any family or friends for support and I’m just really lost as to what to do.. I feel like I could possibly be needing a higher dose of my vyvanse or a combination of that medication with another to see some further benefits with the current effects of my adhd.
Please feel free to share your honest opinion or personal experiences.

Hi, I'm a recent high school graduate who's trying to figure out how to get my mechanical engineering bachelor's degree without bankrupting myself. I wanted to give a very general idea of my current plan so I can get feedback on it to make sure I'm not setting myself up for failure.
Step 1:
I'm going to get a engineering transfer associate's degree from a community college in my local area. My parents said they will pay for tuition, can live at home for those two years, and will help support me so I don't take on debt. I'll hold a part time job over this time so I pay for gas, my phone bill, and other general stuff. I have a good relationship with my parents and I'm comfortable doing this. Do you think this is a good plan, to take advantage of the help I'm offered?
Step 2:
Once I get the engineering associate's degree after two years, I'll transfer to the state university in my area. The CC is part of the same university system as the big state campus, so all of the classes I'll take will transfer directly to that school. I plan to apply for CSPI (Coast Guard version of ROTC that pays for two years of college then commitment to four to five years in coast guard as an officer), Navy and Air Force ROTC scholarships to pay for school. If not, I'll apply for as many scholarships as possible and take out loans to pay for school. I'm currently in a summer internship at a local farm that pays a monthly stipend to show I'm involved in my community for these programs, going to do marching band at the university, allow CC students to join, to show that I'm active, possibly do venture scouts, and maybe other stuff if I want to do more. I want to do as much as possible to make my chances of getting any of the military scholarships possible, (yes I am willing and have found stuff that I would at least somewhat like doing in the military).
I'm going to apply for scholarships to pay for CC as well, since the extra money above tuition goes into my pockets. I'll also stay active doing different stuff so I can make friends and have somewhat a social life. What do you think of this plan? Any flaws? Advice? Any feedback would be appreciated.
Also, last question. The current summer farm internship I'm doing will turn into a youth leadership training internship, still work on the farms three days a week until 1 pm, but they would pay full tuition for the community college on top of a stipend each month. I'm not thinking of continuing to do it though because that limits what time I do classes at, limits what else I can do with my time since my parents can pay for school, and the farm is a 50 minute drive away from my home so it's not close. I don't think I'll keep doing it over the school year, so let me know what you think about it.
I just want to get some feedback on my current plan to make sure I haven't missed anything and to make sure I'm on a good path. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for any feedback you give.

I'm currently in a summer internship at a local farm that pays a monthly stipend to show I'm involved in my community for these programs, going to do marching band at the university, allow CC students to join, to show that I'm active, possibly do venture scouts, and maybe other stuff if I want to do more. I want to do as much as possible to make my chances of getting any of the military scholarships possible, (yes I am willing and have found stuff that I would at least somewhat like doing in the military).
I'm going to apply for scholarships to pay for CC as well, since the extra money above tuition goes into my pockets. I'll also stay active doing different stuff so I can make friends and have somewhat a social life. What do you think of this plan? Any flaws? Advice? Any feedback would be appreciated.
Also, last question. The current summer farm internship I'm doing will turn into a youth leadership training internship, still work on the farms three days a week until 1 pm, but they would pay full tuition for the community college on top of a stipend each month. I'm not thinking of continuing to do it though because that limits what time I do classes at, limits what else I can do with my time since my parents can pay for school, and the farm is a 50 minute drive away from my home so it's not close. I don't think I'll keep doing it over the school year, so let me know what you think about it.
I just want to get some feedback on my current plan to make sure I haven't missed anything and to make sure I'm on a good path. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for any feedback you give.

Currently, the max level cap lies at 200 (potentially even higher). This can be reached by getting at least 3 more copies of your respective SSR unit, hitting 3 Stars. Getting any 5 SSR units up to 3 Stars is one of the main goals for late-game content. The Synchro Device will do the rest.
What does it mean to use the Synchro Device (Outpost) effectively as a beginner?
It means limit breaking 5 of your SR units up to 2 Stars and throwing them into the Synchro Device as your main units. This will allow you to steadily climb up to the level 160 cap with any other unit (SSRs included). You don't have to rely too much on gacha luck, since limit breaking your SSR units is not needed at all for this method.
Is there a pity system in the game?
Special Recruit banners give you gold tickets for every roll you make. Collecting 200 gold tickets will allow you to get the event-specific unit guaranteed. Some important information 1. we have a large family whose generations don't line up, I.e. a cousin who has kids and grandkids is on the same generational plane as one younger than me. 2. my grandad is my dad's stepdad not his bio dad as bio dad died when my dad was still in secondary school. 3. my Nan had an illegitimate son before my dad and aunt who was legally adopted out but has since assimilated back into the family despite it being a closed at birth adoption. 4. my half sisters (there are 2, same dad but different mums) are legally under guardianship by my nan however they are now in their 20s whereas I'm 19. 5. my nan's mental state is currently that of a preschool age child and she needs round the clock care, mainly done by my oldest sister.

2023.06.05 12:01 attachh Uber support is terrible (Took me 5 days to get my $13 from a promotion i never got paid for.)
On Wednesday of last week, I had a promotion to do 9 trips and that would pay me an extra $2 for 2, $4 for 2 more, $8 for 3 more, and $13 for 2 more, totaling out to 9 trips total. I ended up completing the promotion and have done this before. I came home and checked my earnings later that night and noticed I was never compensated for my $13 for the final 2 trips. I contacted support immediately and they told me wait 24 hours because sometimes it takes longer to process. I wait and contact again, and am asked to provide evidence of the promotion and my earnings, which I do and at this point I assume i will be getting my money finally. Support replies and closes the ticket without giving me my money. I then go through another 5 agents with the same bullshit PR response of ‘The Earnings were already added to your account at 6:00pm On June 3rd under Miscellaneous’ (Which I never got), and then finally I got so fed up I threatened support that I would be calling the next day and complaining about every single agent and supervisor that replied to me, that they did not help me at all and only made me wait longer for the money I should’ve rightfully made through the promotion. Finally a supervisor replies and manually adds the $13 to my earnings and apologizes on behalf of the support that I was provided with.
TDLR: Uber Support is a joke and always complain and do what is in your power to get what you deserve and have rightfully made.
(Sorry for the rant but holy crap, I have never had an experience like this driving for more than 3 years…)
