Hey everyone, we're AceZone. We make headsets designed for gaming and esports. Our products are used in professional esports in games such as CS:GO, Apex Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League and more. We work with big tournament orginazers like ESL, BLAST, PGL and many more.
We've done a lot of work and measurements on our products using games like CS:GO, working with the community to create the best audio settings for those games. We want to include Apex Legends in this.
One thing we found out was that by using our headsets, you could hear critical audio cues ealiefaster than if you were using competitor headsets (we tested against so many many competitor headsets, the results were always the same). Needless to say, this made is very excited. One way we did it was to create a scenario we could repeat again and again and get data. In CS:GO we used the map Inferno, where we put a player at the sandbags to listen for enemies coming up through banana. So basically a fixed position and scenario that we could repeat and that people would know, if they had played the game. We made a video which we hope could communicate the competitive advantages our products can give players.

So basically we want to this with Apex Legends as well, but we want to do it right. We're looking a place in a map where we can do something similar. A place where audio plays a big role and where hearing something earlier could give players a huge advantage. We're reaching out here to get some input from you, the players.
We're willing to pay 100 US dollars for the best idea. We may get several ideas sent our way, so we decided that the winner will be the one who first sends us the idea that we end up using.

Hey, I'm currently deciding on which CPU to pair with my RTX 3090, and I'm between the Ryzen 5 5600x or the Ryzen 7 5800x3d. My main monitor is a 1440x3440 ultrawide at 100hz. I'm planning to not upgrade for at least the next 6 years, possibly more if it can still run games then (yes I am one of those, I built my last PC in 2014).
I looked at benchmarks and I think for games right now either CPU would be ok at that resolution/fps goal, but I'm trying to buy with the next few years of releases in mind. I'm fine with dialing down settings from ultra RT to ultra to high and eventually to medium to keep the framerate at a playable level when the time comes, but I wanna make sure I have a CPU that can handle running games that release 5 years from now at like 80-100 fps. I already read a few anecdotal accounts of people upgrading from the 5600x to the 5800x3d, saying the stuttering they experienced in games has decreased drastically.
Important info is that I am planning to buy used to save money (just like I did on the rest of my setup). I can find a used 5600x for like 70€ but the 5800x3d is more like 200€, since its the best chip of the platform, and only people that switch to the 7800x3d or people that stop gaming all together are looking to sell those.
What do you think? I already have a strong 360mm AIO since it was part of a great deal I got second hand, so I won't have to pay more for a stronger cooler to handle the 5800x3D

This is quite an average story , but it's really disturbing me so I decided to write it down and get some opinions and advices . To get started, i (18F) with my family, used to live in our grandparents house but my uncles decided to sell it . So it was pretty hard because of the family problems , and my father that was barely making any money and the amount that was given to him wasn't enough to buy a house for 6 people . I lost my friends , and we spent a year in a tiny apartment (2 rooms) , the new school was creepy and people were not friendly at all , i got bullied and didn't have someone to talk , so i spent the entire time alone and crying. I had depression and lost 15kg , everything about me changed and i became so weak and unable to face or do anything. Eventually after more than a year my father managed to buy the house we're currently in, it's a big house in quit a nice neighborhood. Everything seemed to be good again , i started going to my new high school, i made friends and felt a little happy even though I didn't entirety heal from my depression . And that's were the actual story starts , so i after a couple months I got to know this girl (17F) , she's in the same neighborhood so i met her sometimes on my way home but we weren't friends , our discussions were basic ones , i didn't even know her full name . So one day while I was coming back home from school with 2 other friends, they started talking about her and that she is dating someone, as soon as they mentioned the guy's name (18M) i realized that it was the same guy that's been flirting with me for the past week , i felt bad about it and decided to tell her . When I did she asked me if I could test him for her , so whenever he messaged me i told her and she would tell me what to answer . A few days later , he told me that he didn't have a girlfriend so i rushed and told her , but to my surprise she wasn't mad at all and she asked me to just stop talking to him . The next day I asked someone about it and was told that they broke up a month ago, she's the one that asked him to be together, he never loved her and she knows it , i then realized that she actually used me and got jealous. For the next days he kept on messaging me and i wasn't answering, but I did cuz he insisted, i told him that I don't wana talk cuz she wouldn't like that and he said that he has the right to talk to whoever and however he wants . Meanwhile she messaged me saying that she doesn't want me to tell her anything about him anymore, and that she doesn't care about him and that i'm free to talk to him if I want . So i was like "why not?" Him and i started chatting everyday, we felt attraction and were so confortable with each other. We decided to meet for the first time and we did it at school , his ex saw us and she came to me asking what's between him and i and how could I do this to her and stuff . On the way home she followed me and hit me , she grabbed my hair and pulled me down . I managed to escape and went home . The next day she started telling everyone how horrible i am for "ruining her relationship" and that I have stolen her boyfriend from her meanwhile they were together . Everyone started avoiding me and seeing me as a bich , refused to believe me since they knew her for a longer time. I personally didn't really care about anything and started dating this guy which I'm currently still with , but she never stopped disturbing us . She keeps on looking at us with her poisonous eyes , she tried multiple times to fake conversation to make one of us seem like he cheated, she keeps on making rumors about me , posts TikToks about my bf and send her friends to create problems . She started copying my style , and "accidentally stepping on me and pushing me in the hallway" . But what annoys me the most is the way she talks to me , since I never did anything to her from the beginning, she realized that I'm actually not able to do anything, so one time while I sent her a message asking her to stop her BS, she started insulting me and trying to look strong. She's always starring at my bf when she knows I'm looking, she tries to talk to my bf even tho I'm there and tbh I just gave her this impression but in fact I have done worse . I hacked all her social media , found her intimate pics , and her parents number "divorced" , i also found proofs of my innocence in some conversations and many more .... The thing is that I don't know what to do now , i don't wanna post any of her pics cuz that would be fuckd up and i also don't know what to say to her since I'm not healed yet , please guys give me some advices about this situation and what should I do to make her stop forever

This subreddit will be joining in on the June 12th-14th protest of Reddit's API changes that will essentially kill all 3rd party Reddit apps.What's going on?
A recent Reddit policy change threatens to kill many beloved third-party mobile apps, making a great many quality-of-life features not seen in the official mobile app permanently inaccessible to users.
On May 31, 2023, Reddit announced they were raising the price to make calls to their API from being free to a level that will kill every third party app on Reddit, from Apollo to Reddit is Fun to Narwhal to BaconReader.
Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this is a step toward killing other ways of customizing Reddit, such as Reddit Enhancement Suite or the use of the old.reddit.com desktop interface .
This isn't only a problem on the user level: many subreddit moderators depend on tools only available outside the official app to keep their communities on-topic and spam-free.
What's the plan?
On June 12th, many subreddits will be going dark to protest this policy. Some will return after 48 hours: others will go away permanently unless the issue is adequately addressed, since many moderators aren't able to put in the work they do with the poor tools available through the official app. This isn't something any of us do lightly: we do what we do because we love Reddit, and we truly believe this change will make it impossible to keep doing what we love.
The two-day blackout isn't the goal, and it isn't the end. Should things reach the 14th with no sign of Reddit choosing to fix what they've broken, we'll use the community and buzz we've built between then and now as a tool for further action.
What can you do as a user?

• Complain. Message the mods of reddit.com, who are the admins of the site: message reddit: submit a support request: comment in relevant threads on reddit, such as this one, leave a negative review on their official iOS or Android app- and sign your username in support to this post.
• Spread the word. Rabble-rouse on related subreddits. Meme it up, make it spicy. Bitch about it to your cat. Suggest anyone you know who moderates a subreddit join the coordinated mod effort at ModCoord.
• Boycott and spread the word...to Reddit's competition! Stay off Reddit entirely on June 12th through the 13th- instead, take to your favorite non-Reddit platform of choice and make some noise in support!
• Don't be a jerk. As upsetting this may be, threats, profanity and vandalism will be worse than useless in getting people on our side. Please make every effort to be as restrained, polite, reasonable and law-abiding as possible.

What can you do as a moderator?

• Join the coordinated effort over at ModCoord
• Make a sticky post showing your support, A template has been created here you can use or modify to your liking, and be sure to crosspost it to ModCoord.

TLDR: From 1st July, if you use Reddit on your phone, you'll only be able to do this through the official Reddit app, or by web browser. This move excludes people with visual impairments, as the Reddit app is notoriously bad with screen readers, and also makes modding a much harder job, as a lot of the tools needed for this aren't actually a part of the official reddit app. Very handy little infographic here that explains it better than I ever could : https://i.redd.it/zqptto18e34b1.jpg

Looking for any suggestions or a redirect to another sub or elsewhere
Every year when my boat goes in, my marina guy says its real hard to get the engine started, once it starts, they let it run 45 min with a bunch of startron mixed in, routine replacements (plugs filters etc). Runs great for weeks even with short 20-30 min uses. By midseason its hard to start and by end of season near impossible. Could be sediment in tank, i never checked how bad the fuel filter gets by end of season. No idea if gas tank has been cleaned (ever?!)
Anyone else have similar, or ideas? buildup somewhere in the carbs?

I love my druid and thought every class would be fairly similar in terms of damage, and it's doing great damage now at level 30 but it's insane the amount of damage the sorcerer is doing almost out of the gate

I've found I can easily imagine a scenario and observe what thoughts come up as my reaction to that scenario if I was in it, then im able to rewrite the anseer by correcting my response each time and then when the actual scenario or concept comes up in my head the new answer will appear subconsciously as the first one. It can take some time but sometimes can be done in a day or two.
How well can everyone else do this if theyve tried it, and if they havent then try it and see if you can.
This actually greatly helped with my mental health and other stuff.

I just want to start saying that the movie was great, it’s been awhile since I have seen a horror movie that had me on the edge of my seat, last one that did must have been “IT” chapter 1. I guess both are written by Stephen King so that makes sense. Moving on, how goddamn stupid is the big sis? “Hey, I’ll walk into every dark room in the house, instead of turning on the damn lights” and the dad “I don’t believe it’s real, my daughters must be seeing the same thing, and my youngest threw her self into the TV.” He’s a therapist, of denial. Speaking of which, that freaky ahh therapist chick that did the blinking light thing, walking around smiling at the girl as she pees the couch. Not to mention that her office is the batcave. I mean those shutters went on lockdown I swear. I thought she was going to jump out of the dark and scare them 😂.
As for the girl, well she was pretty good character, serious balls she got. A lot of the scariest scenes happened with her. I like that the boogeyman scares you by letting you know it’s there, not by toying with you like pennywise. It wants you to have that sense of dread, I mean did you see how it showed up at any given chance just to traumatize its victim for the fun of it? It knocked the little girls closet wide and fast and went straight under her bed. It keeps showing up everywhere with the big sis.
But yeah this is the first review if you couldn’t tell so if you didn’t think that everything I write before this wasn’t just random crap about the movie, everything after this definitely is.
When that old lady attacked the boogeyman, I think it was actually the muzzle flash that was hurting it, I mean it took 20 shotgun rounds, then got up and ripped granny in half.
Another thing, that I thought was cool, is that when it finally caught big sis, it held her down and started sucking what I first thought was the blood out of her, but then thinking about how it likes to scare it’s food, that it was actually Adrenochrome. Pretty gnarly.
One last thing, no wonder big sis started coughing up every damn thing in the house, she’s smoking her dead moms old, stale ahh weed that tasted probably like total garbage.
