Hi friends! Hope I'm doing this correctly!
I just remembered that the other two Alola starters existed, so I've bred one box each of Popplio and Litten. They're all from Shield, and I'm the OT. IGN: Heather. IVs and Nature are both random, ability is Torrent/Blaze.
I can't sleep, so the plan is to run this until at least 3am PST or until I run out, though if I'm still awake we might go longer.

Hi all,
I just want to come out saying that I have zero proof or anything because it was such a random event, but I do have a witness in my ex who also saw this with me 8 years ago. Also not saying it’s an alien, but it absolutely happened.
I know everyone wants the smoking gun, but I figured I might as well share this with the only people who would be remotely interested. Here goes:
Southern California sky about 2014-2015 (will try to figure out exact year) I was visiting my exes girlfriends parents who live in Orange County a couple miles from the old El Toro Air Base. It was I wanna say about 11pm at night and the sky was deep purple my with medium high clouds not fully overcast but definitely cloudy.
We stepped outside for a smoke and walked across the street and sat on the curb to spark since we didn’t want to smoke next to the their home. As we’re chit chatting we’re both kinda looking up aimlessly and all of the sudden there is a MASSIVE black perfectly rectangular shape that flies overhead in complete silence. It was behind the clouds but it was immense. The strange part was for sure the shape and it’s size. It flies smoothly overhead, no lights, at a rate that didn’t appear quick but for its size it didn’t add up. My best guess is that it was a 400m wide and slightly longer to complete a rectangle.
I didn’t say anything for like 5 seconds and then turn to my ex and say “please tell me you just saw that?” And she says “yup, what in the world was that?” My mind instantly starts coming up with answers. I thought maybe it was spotlights projecting something? But that isn’t what spotlights look like. Too big to be a plane with no sound. Why was it that large? Balloon or gas? I was always interested in aliens so I tried to apply the usual suspects but none of it made sense.
I instantly checked Twitter for flying object local area and surf reddit go see if there’s anything but we didn’t see a thing. We both made a pact that we would not forget this story but he were super confused and don’t really know how to leave it.
It’s the only bizarre thing I’ve seen and hopefully someone with a bit more knowledge about flying objects and stuff can help answer this question for us. Otherwise, thanks for reading and apologies for not having enough details or evidence. I can still visualize it but it’s a while back now.
Edit: I just remembered I posted asking about it on Reddit when it happened! Here’s some clarification on the sighting:
The exact date was April 14, 2014 around 9ish PM PST. So not 8 but 9 years ago.
The shape was apparently circular and not a rectangle. Weird, I seem to remember it being square-ish but it was massive.
She actually asked me first, not the other way around. She does NOT believe nor care for alien stuff, so that validation from her asking me was important.

I've been wanting to get into an MMO I can lose myself in, but in the past I've felt kinda overwhelmed. I've tried ESO and FFXIV, but maybe didn't give them enough of a chance. I used to love RuneScape, but I'm hoping to find something I can kick back and play on controller.
I'm somewhat new to gaming overall and my favorite games have been Skyrim, AC Odyssey, and AC Unity. I like fantasy and historical settings, a bit less into scifi

BASE BUILDING: AT THE MOMENT TRADERS DO NOT SELL NAILS/FOOD/ARMOR, for a more survival feel we made base building a little more grindy than other servers for a better experience (MOD: BASE BUILDING PLUS), THERE IS NO BUIDLING NEAR PVP ZONES, HIDEOUTS, OR TRADERS (500m from Hideouts/Traders, 300m from PVP zones). Get your grind on and have fun with more of an immersive pvp building system. We have BasicTerritories/PVEZE Flag Zones. You need a flagpole to make a base & you need a flag fully raised on your pole to enable PvP. Since we use PVEZ the flags help in case you need to defend against a raid. The flag also helps keep all your items secure from poofing away. Sadly bases can be raided even with your flag pole lowered. So it’s recommended that you keep your flag pole raised.
ALL BASES HAVE A LIMITED AMOUNT OF VEHICLES THEY CAN POSSESS! Each base can have a max of 3 Land Vehicles & 2 Helicopters (This Is To Help Prevent Lag)
PVP ZONES/PVE: All PVP Zones contain either a military spot on the map, or Custom Keycard areas, Custom Key Cards spawn randomly around the map or in airdrops/military bases/bunkers.THERE IS ABSOULETLY NO KILLING OUTSIDE PVP ZONES, what ever damage you afflict on another Survior, that damage will come back to you, this a noob/pve setting of a server so show some respect.
KEYCARDS: There many different keycards you can get but they all are different. Some have different loot, some have mixed loot. Rare keycard rooms give 10x better loot than normal military/bm loot. There Is 2 Red/Black/Violet/Green Rooms. 1 Yellow/Blue/Med Lab/White Rooms.
Right Now The Keycards Ranging From Best To Worst Are Red, Black, Yellow, White, Violet, Green, Blue, Med Laboratory. There will probably be more in the future. Red Keycard Loaded but is suuuper rare.
(NOTE: Right now please don't fly into keycard areas. We recently added helis again and some areas are possible to fly into (AI will probably shoot them down but still we want keycards to be used to access keycard areas. ALSO When you open a keycard room it will stay open until server restart because the loot crates wont reset until after restart)
THE BUNKER: Right now there is currently 1 bunker on the server. You need a White Keycard to enter it & when you enter it turns to total darkness. You'll need a light or nvgs too see anything after entering. This place is worth checking out but be careful of possible chances of Zombies/AI. The bunker is really nice for finding blackmarket items and chances decent/guns/armoammo.
TRAVEL TRADER: We recently added a trader that can change locations and also change what they Buy/Sell! The Travel Trader Can Spawn At Any Keycard Locations (Based On When I Move Them) & Trades Rare Items Other Traders Might Not Sell Or Might Buy/Sell At A Discount!
TRADERS: Traders are all around the map and they only sell certain items there. Very high powered weapons cannot be bought a civ traders, they will most likely be purchasable at Blackmarket or not purchasable at all, you will need to scavenge your way around the map if you want to be the best, there are no handouts. Normal Civ Traders will have the essentials there to survive.
AI/BOSSES: AI spawn at all keycards/hideouts except Blue/Green Keycards. They have a chance to spawn anywhere else. There are 3 Bosses on the server. Killa, Zryachiy, the Goons. Killa spawns at Red/Black/Yellow Keycards. Zryachiy spawns at Prison Island. The Goons can spawn at Red/Black/White/Med Lab. The Goons are the rarest Bosses to run into right now while Killa and Zryachiy are about the same. Killa and Zryachiy can have guards.

Welcome to the (first?) design competition hosted by yours truly.
The goal of this competition is to showcase the community's creativity and engineering prowess with the Ultrahand Creations, and create a shared goal to inspire new Ultrahand Creations. This is the first competition, and depending on how this goes hopefully the first of many.
The goal is as follows:

Eventide Island has a Sky Island above it that is very far up. Reaching that island can be tricky and time consuming. The goal is to design an Ultrahand Creation that reaches the island quickly and efficiently. Link must start on the surface, and reach the unnamed Sky Island with or without the Ultrahand Creation.

Details regarding submissions will be organized at a later date. There is currently no prize as I am not familiar with contest law. As such, despite having a judging process this competition is strictly for fun. Submissions will however be compiled into a video and showcased back to the community.
More details are below. Feedback to gauge interest would be appreciated in the comments. Also, please refrain from discussing the contents of the Unnamed Sky Island above Eventide Island in respect to people that have not visited the island yet.

Creations will be judged by 3 criteria:

• Efficiency
  • How many Energy Cell blocks are consumed
• Speed
  • How long it takes to accomplish the goal
• Creativity
  • 10 days from now a community poll will be created to judge most creative creations
• Each category will be compared against other submissions and receive a number of points based on how it compares to each other submission
  • For example, if there are 10 submissions, the fastest creation will receive 10 points, and the slowest will receive 1 point
  • The same will be applied for Energy Cell efficiency and creativity
  • All 3 categories will be added up and the submission with the highest point total wins

Some more to know going into the competition:

• Creations should be your own
• Time starts when the device is first activated
• Use of Recall is not allowed
• Link can start at any starting location on the Surface
• Link needs to survive the journey, but is allowed to take damage
• Link is allowed to dismount the device and use up to 3 bars of Stamina paragliding
• Use of any materials is allowed, even hard to get materials and objects found throughout Hyrule
• Ultrahand Creations should be creatable using Autobuild
  • This by extension disallows the usage of loose objects
• Submission deadline is June 14th, 6:00pm PST

Apple tweeted “A new era begins” in reference to WWDC 2023. Is that typical language from Apple for WWDC or does this signify, as I suspect, that Apple believes they are debuting their next revolutionary product line? Perhaps with some other major changes to their technology like Siri?
I think Apple is going to make it an agenda to push for wearable AR from here on out. Based on what Tim Cook has said, it seems he really believes AR is the future of consumer technology.
I think AR is a profound technology that will affect everything . . . Imagine suddenly being able to teach with AR and demonstrate things that way. Or medically, and so on. Like I said, we are really going to look back and think about how we once lived without AR.
I’m already seeing AR take off in some of these areas with use of the phone. And I think the promise is even greater in the future.
I regard it as a big idea, like the smartphone. The smartphone is for everyone, we don't have to think the iPhone is about a certain demographic, or country or vertical market: it’s for everyone. I think AR is that big, it’s huge. I get excited because of the things that could be done that could improve a lot of lives. And be entertaining.
Think back to 2008, when the App Store went live. There was the initial round of apps and people looked at them and said, ‘this is not anything, mobile apps are not going to take off’. And then step by step things start to move. And it is sort of a curve, it was just exponential — and now you couldn’t imagine your life without apps . . . AR is like that. It will be that dramatic.
I’m super excited about augmented reality. Because I think that we’ve had a great conversation here today, but if we could augment that with something from the virtual world, it would have arguably been even better. So I think that if you, and this will happen clearly not too long from now, if you look back at a point in time, you know, zoom out to the future and look back, you’ll wonder how you led your life without augmented reality. Just like today, we wonder, how did people like me grow up without the internet. And so I think it could be that profound, and it’s not going to be profound overnight…
We can divide technology into eras, like the telephone, motion pictures revolutionizing entertainment, the personal computer being the next desk appliance alongside the telephone, the internet was a major result of these technologies, then we have a big one we are all familiar with, the mobile phone and smartphone, which spawned the mobile internet era.
My interpretation of “A New Era Begins” is that Apple has decided it's time for them to initiate the next leap, the AR revolution, the technological paradigm shift of the 20s. It won’t happen overnight, it won’t happen even after several years because a product takes time to achieve mass adoption, and the challenges for wearable smart glasses are immense. This will be many years and successive generations in the making before it can really kick off, but it starts here with what is essentially their early adopters launch.
