So I want to reset all my data from earlier and start over but I can only do that through desktop. But even if I go to desktop then I have to use an email address to login. However I have used Apple’s hide my mail feature when using so I have a private relay email address on my fitness pal. Now how do I log in from desktop or delete my account? It asks me for a password to delete my account but I never created one. I just logged in from Apple.

if you're not a fan of xscreensaver as your locker, changing to something else is a pretty simple thing to do, but does require changing the display manager too. That's also simple. so here's a short set of instructions:
in qterminal
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install lightdm light-locker slick-greeter
choose lightdm, not sddm when prompted
reboot, start - preferences – lqxt settings – session settings - autostart, and take the tick out of the box for xscreensaver, then close. Logout then back in.
to change the background of the login window, its start – preferences – login window, then choose your image from whatever location.
any issues,just shoot a mail! That's for debian based, but similar for arch based etc with an edit of the commands etc. There's other greeters too that can be used for lightdm such as lightdm-gtk-greeter to name but one. G

So my computer decided to go to the login screen instead and I wanted to recover my password as I forgot it. I went to do that, got the recovery e-mail code and did that. But I can never seem to give enough info to please them. I don't know any of the contacts by heart and I don't send much. Once more, I don't remember my Reddit password, so I cannot change it to a new e-mail, Discord is in jeopardy too as I need it to not only do I need that e-mail to change it, but to verify logging in on any other device. I don't want to lose everything. Please help.

I got Proton VPN Plus plan. Now I want to use payed Proton Mail services. I've already registered a protonmail account long ago, but a free one.
I've installed the desktop client for mail, "Proton Mail Bridge".
When I try to login in the Bridge with my free protonmail account, I get an error "Bridge is exclusive to our paid plans. Upgrade your account to use bridge." Already kind of scummy that protonmail free can only used form the browser unlike everything else out there, but okay. And kind of annyoing you're given that error without a hyperlink to go buy a plan, but okay.

Click on "Get Proton Unlimited", I'm thrown into a registration page. Already pretty janky since I'm already logged in to proton mail in this browser, but okay...
There's separate "use your current email address" and "Already have an account? Sign in" buttons. Can you make this any more confusing?

With "use your current email address" I get a "Email domain not allowed". Hey devs, how about you rub two brain cells together and instead call this option "use your non-Proton email address"
With the "Already have an account? Sign in" , as soon as I sign in I'm thrown into the email landing page.
Every time I try to pay them for their product, they just throw my into a email landing page! Every time I go back to the pricing page to choose the Unlimited plan, proton website forgets I'm already signed in.

But in my case there's a "Get Proton Family" only.
I by accident got the text field (not a button!) above your latest mail, which changes each time you refresh the page to something else, to show me an "upgrade your account" field and link, and only from there I could finally upgrade.
I was about to swich to another service. I've used the VPN for few months now, but this whole plan upgrading process is downright moronic. How can you trust a service with your data if said company cannot even make a basic-ass website properly? So Proton, fix you shit, this is just embarassing.

We get yearly charged 200 euros by the website builder for these three things. I estimated that the actual costs for these three things is 82 euros.
Since we want to make changes ourselves to the website, I asked him to give us the login details for the CMS . He refused and said the CMS module of the website was never agreed upon in the contract and that he made additional costs using Elementor Pro that haven't been calculated in the price (contract doesn't mention anything about this).
Then he gave two options:

I've started changing the passwords in my keychain under the 'security advice' tab - meaning, passwords that I have used multiple times.
However, it also flags 'false' double passwords. For example, my password for outlook is registered for two 'websites': account.live.com and login.live.com. But these are providing the same service (access to my email): one from the browser and the other from the Mail app. It's the same account that needs the same password.
Same goes for my work account, that has several different login entrances.
And here the keychain just goes berserk and tells me to change my password.

My dad died in April. He was poor, lived in subsidized tribal housing prior to moving to a VA nursing home in early January. He received $1930/month in SSA. He was always financially responsible but in February we identified he was going to die within the year and stopped spending what money he had left on his medical bills - the nursing home was taking 85% of his income. I had his mail sent to my house and he’s approximately -$25k in medical debt to various facilities just in 2023. He used a variety of VA, tribal and Medicare part A benefits.
Anyway, I’m sure none of that matters. I got a letter from a law office asking to speak to the Executor to pay debts the estate owes. I suppose that’s me, but I haven’t filed anything with the courts. I received a $5k life insurance benefit, no questions asked. SSA sent me a letter stating he had money due to him, either SSA or Medicare premiums, so I filled out the form they sent. I know he has a bank account. They have been thoroughly awful through all of this and literally refused to communicate with me. In March I took a whole day off to drive to this credit union, provide my POA and get added to his bank account. They responded to my request a week after he died. I did get his statement and there’s about $11 in his checking account (going down $2 each month) and I think he has $1000 in his savings. I don’t really care to take another day of PTO to deal with this, so I let it be.
I’m not really sure how estate stuff works. No one can really tell me. It seems like a lawyer wouldn’t really be worth the money, but please feel free to tell me otherwise. Once I got his death certificate, I closed his ATT and Cox accounts and mailed copies to his debtors, but I am still getting bills in the mail for him. Can I just tell the law office to get in contact with the credit union and have at it? He had no other assets. We sold his car before he died.

2023.06.03 22:05 MelonThug A Full Guide to Earning Crystals
This is primarily targeted towards newer players, who may not know some of the ways of getting crystals, but may be useful to older players as well(probably not). I will list every source of crystals earnable in-game categorized into major and minor categories. If I miss anything, please comment.
The story stages give crystals in 2 ways. Firstly, you can earn 15 crystals per stage by completing all 3 challenges shown prior to entering the stage, and are usually pretty easy. Secondly, each chapter divides the stages into multiple sections, with extra rewards based on how many total stars(challenges completed) you got in that section. If you complete all the challenges, you will get extra crystals, usually 30 crystals. While the number may seem small on it's own, it adds up to quite a high amount in the end. Naturally, this is only a one time thing. This also includes doing Expeditions for the first time.
Chronicles also fall into this category, but they differ in the fact that after completing all of the stages, a challenge mode is unlocked where you can earn even more crystals.
2) ACHIEVEMENTS
This is only applicable for new players, as you'll be unlocking a ton of achievements for doing pretty much anything. The amount you get overall is very high compared to the more consistent sources of crystals like abyss, but this is also a one time thing.
3) ELYSIAN REALM
This is your most accessible and largest on-demand supply of crystals(besides your credit card ofc). However the amount of crystals you can earn entirely depends on how many characters you have unlocked that are actually in Elysian Realm. For every character you have in ER, you can earn 600 crystals, by completing Shallow Sequence with them, and leveling them to level 15(although this takes some time).
You can also get crystals by collecting signets for the first time. For collecting all 5 Elysia signets for a character, you can get 20 crystals. Collecting all the general signets for a flame-chaser will get you 20 crystals, and collecting all their enhanced signets will get you 50 crystals.
When upgrading remembrance vessels, you will unlock recollection logs. Each log you click on will get you 10 crystals, totaling to 1430 crystals.
Additionally, you can earn up to 500 crystals per week if you can get 18,000 score on Deep Sequence, however this will be difficult for new players without proper gear and understanding of ER.
4) ABYSS (Q-Manifold/Dirac Sea/Q-Singularis/Superstring Dimension)
This is your largest, infinite source of crystals. The amount of crystals you earn will depend on both your player level and performance. There are 4 brackets of abyss, determined by your level: 1. Beginners (25-55) 2. Elite (56-69) 3. Masters (70-80) 4. Exalted(81+)
Additionally, there are 4 brackets of rankings, determined by your performance: (This is for Exalted) 1. Sin 1, Sin 2, Sin 3 (190-220 crystals) 2. Agony 1, Agony 2, Agony 3 (280 - 420 crystals) 3. Redlotus (500 crystals) 4. Nirvana(hell) (520 crystals) There is also Forbidden, which is below Sin 1 and exclusive to Exalted Abyss(Superstring Dimension), but you'll never be there unless you stop playing the game.
I have no way of checking the crystals for brackets below Exalted, so I cannot list the crystal values for each. However, after getting multiple teams built fairly decently(which will take a long time for F2P but very achievable), you can expect to remain in Agony 3 and promote to Redlotus every once in a while, averaging 420 crystals per cycle(3 days). May you never enter Nirvana.
5) EVENTS
Events are very frequent in Honkai, and offer very valuable rewards. Crystals aren't usually as valuable as the other rewards they offer, but the majority of the time you'll be able to buy every item in the event shop if you play the whole thing. Events usually award up to 500 crystals, but the amount varies greatly.
6) OPEN WORLD MISSIONS (Sakura Samsara, Schicksal HQ, A Post Honkey Odyssey 1 & 2)
Every week you can gain access to 1 open world, however some of them only unlock at certain levels, and when you reach that level, the corresponding open world will unlock automatically for 2 weeks. Which means you may end up with 3 open worlds open at the same time, which will absolutely drain your stamina if you try to take up tasks for all of them. By playing through the open world story and completing missions, you will earn a hefty sum of crystals.

As a new player, it will be very difficult to do this, as you probably won't have the teams required for every boss and won't have good gear. However, achieving this once you get some teams fairly well built is very easy if you utilize Buffed Mode.

Very rarely, when selecting your adventure tasks, you may get a task that awards 25 crystals. You should try to use all 15 refreshes when choosing your 5 tasks to maximize your chance of getting the crystal tasks.

Rarely when running your Dorm Errands(although much more often than adventure tasks), you may see an S+ task appear, which gives 40 crystals. Sometimes you may not have the requirements to actually do the errand, in which case you can use your 1 daily refresh and hope for the best.

Every week you will get 25 crystals from your armada, provided they reach the weekly requirement for such(which should always happen anyways). You also get 60 crystals for joining an armada for the first time.

Do note, some boss stages are very difficult.

You can also get crystals by collecting signets for the first time. For collecting all 5 Elysia signets for a character, you can get 20 crystals. Collecting all the general signets for a flame-chaser will get you 20 crystals, and collecting all their enhanced signets will get you 50 crystals.
When upgrading remembrance vessels, you will unlock recollection logs. Each log you click on will get you 10 crystals, totaling to 1430 crystals.
Additionally, you can earn up to 500 crystals per week if you can get 18,000 score on Deep Sequence, however this will be difficult for new players without proper gear and understanding of ER.

If you haven't logged in for 45+ days, you will trigger the returnee system, and the next time you login you will get a returnee event. It gives a very large amount of both crystals and useful resources. Can't give a number on how much crystals exactly, but it's alot.
Minor Sources
1) DAILY 600BPEarning 600 BP will net you 40 crystals per day, and while little compared to the major sources, it is essential you get this every day. Additionally, the "Weekly Share' mission will give you an extra 30 crystals per week.
2) BATTLE PASS
The Free BP will get you 540 crystals, and you will level up your BP gradually just by playing the game normally. While 540 crystals is a large amount, that 540 will trickle in very slowly over the course of 3 versions(roughly 120 days).
3) MEMORIAL ARENA
This only applies to Exalted(Lvl 81+), as only then are SSS bosses unlocked. Every week, you can challenge 3 bosses, 2 of which will be SSS. If you manage to achieve at least 38400 score on a SSS boss, you will get 20 crystals, totaling to 40 crystals per week for both. Additionally, you will get 100 crystals per week for beating at least 8 stages(which Arena Lite will probably cover on its own anyways). As a new player, it will be very difficult to do this, as you probably won't have the teams required for every boss and won't have good gear. However, achieving this once you get some teams fairly well built is very easy if you utilize Buffed Mode.
4) ADVENTURE TASKS
Very rarely, when selecting your adventure tasks, you may get a task that awards 25 crystals. You should try to use all 15 refreshes when choosing your 5 tasks to maximize your chance of getting the crystal tasks.
5) DORM ERRANDS
Rarely when running your Dorm Errands(although much more often than adventure tasks), you may see an S+ task appear, which gives 40 crystals. Sometimes you may not have the requirements to actually do the errand, in which case you can use your 1 daily refresh and hope for the best.
6) ARMADA WEEKLY REWARDS
Every week you will get 25 crystals from your armada, provided they reach the weekly requirement for such(which should always happen anyways). You also get 60 crystals for joining an armada for the first time.
7) CHARACTER TRIALS
If you go on the challenges tab(where you will see Abyss, MA, Mirage and ER), there's a blue arrow on the right. Press that and you will see the character trials. While these trials don't actually award any crystals, they award 1 FOCA card for completing the boss stage. Unfortunately most of the valkyries here are outdated and you are unlikely to even have most of them. If you do though, you can try to complete the boss stage for that 1 card. Do note, some boss stages are very difficult.
(I went on a new lvl 34 account and didn't see this for some reason, not sure if it unlocks at a certain level or something else)
8) TACTICS CLASS
When a new character releases, a tutorial for them will release as well. Completing all stages will get you 60 crystals. Tactics class can be found in the Event tab(in the Attack section, not the button on the left of the home screen). Additionally, if you click on the Mechanics tab on the top right, you will actually see a bunch of gameplay mechanic tutorials that can net you 15 crystals each.
9) DAILY CHECK IN
In case you didn't know, you can open this webpage everyday to get a small reward. Gives 50 crystals per month. Additionally, there are daily sign in rewards in-game, which total to 400 crystals and 1 dorm supply card every month.
10) BIRTHDAYS
Whenever it's a character's birthday, they will send you an in-game mail with a cake and 120 crystals. If I recall correctly, you also get 100 crystals on your own birthday.
11) COLLECTIONS
If you press your phone in the bottom right, you will see a "Collection" button. If you click on whoever is on the left, you will see the rewards for each score milestone, totaling to 1020 crystals, although it will take a very long to time get all of that. By acquiring more items in-game, you will increase your collection score. A good way to get more score is to craft dorm furniture and play story to unlock cutscenes.

Just switched S8 to S23. Got my aol/yahoo email working but when i try to login in to GMail i get error - cookies are disabled in your browser - they are not! Had no problem on S8 and samsung email adding all my email accounts. I connected GMail app for now so i can see incoming email to @gmail but prefer to have it all on samsung mail app. I used smartswitch app so not sure if that is at root of problem?? Help please!
