i want to prepare splunk home lab assuming below prerequisites are required
windows server with AD installing splunk enterprise
windows 10 --- with installing splunk universal forwarders
to monitor client machine event viewer logs ..am i correct..?

I bought my laptop in March. I keep the charger it came with plugged in at my desk, and use a high capacity USB-C charger (87w) when I take it to the couch. This has been fine up until the last couple days.
Now it looses power quickly while plugged in with the usb-c charger, and the slow charging notification pops up and goes away about once per second, DESPITE THE SETTING FOR THIS NOTIFICATION BEING TURNED OFF (in both the settings app and in the registry).
Looking at the battery report, it seems that it's constantly switching between battery power and AC power while plugged in, and this is the case with both its own charger and the USB charger. Unplugged, the battery drains rapidly while just web browsing (chrome).

I'm running Windows 11 Home and everything seems up to date. Does anyone have any idea what's going on there and how to fix it?

Getting a bit desperate trying to resolve this and hope someone here knows what to do?
I have have had my laptop for almost 2 years, never an issue until about 5 month ago when I started to get blue screens. First it was with a few weeks in between, but about six week ago it have started to happen sometimes multiple times a day. There have been days without crashes, but it averages about 3 times a day probably. Basically it's very unstable.
Always Windows log error Kernal-Power (41), BSOD stop code "critical_process_died". No dump log files are created. Sometimes it have a hard time booting, geting stuck in start to BIOS loop after crash. Crash in safe mode too. No apperent higher rate of crashes while gaming vs office work vs idling. Often crashes in quick succession, then can be stable for a day sometimes more.
Eliminated issues: Heat are normal and crashes at low load and temp too. Cleaned inside, no dust. No over-clocking or under-volting. Crashes plugged or unplugged to wall. Crashes without battery connected. Crashes without externa hardware connected. Have tried changing SSD slot. Have tried changing RAM slot. Only one RAM card. DISM restore health performed. Sfc/scannow performed twice. No apparent driver errors. Updated all major drivers from manufacturer pages. Updated BIOS. Updated drivers for Nvidia, Intel and chipset. Memory Diagnostic Tool checked (mdsched.exe). Over 20% (200 GB) free space on hard drive. No Hard Drive errors. Hard Drive tested, both Windows built in and Seagates own diagnostics tool. Reverted last windows updates did nothing. Changed settings for dump file, still not generated. Deactivated services in clean boot, still crashes.
What more can I try to do? Basically the only thing I have not tested yet is a clean Windows 11 install, randomly try to uninstall different drivers. And change out hardware, because I have no other to try with.

Ever since adding my AMD Radeon RX 6700 I have been having issues with my pc crashing while idle for too long.
My Specs are:

I have tried everything I can find only. From changing the power plan settings to never letting the pc go into sleep and changing the Turn off hard disk after to 0 Minutes (done this n all the power plans). I've updated drivers too.

Yesterday I've built PC after 10 years.
It's been a blast to be honest and everything went smoothly... well almost
Thing is, my Gigabyte Aorus Waterforce 280 AIO works but i can't get rgb and led screen to work no matter what. I've spent hours reconnecting stuff, reading manuals and googling about this problem and I've found nothing conclusive.

I've connected Sata cable to my PSU and micro usb cable is connected to USB header on MBO
I've tried both USB headers and different Sata cables. Drivers and BIOS are up to date.
I've tinkered a bit more, if i connect fans as normal cpu fans they work normally and i can control them but no matter how i connect aio device manager won't recognize it, shows as unknown device and thus rgb and led screen won't work whatsoever.

Hi, I want to share a solution I just discovered. I have a half-silvered teleprompter I use for zoom calls with my EOS M200 in webcam mode. Basically the camera sits behind the screen, so on a call I'm looking directly into the camera while looking at the display. In the past, I used an iPad Pro with Duet Display, which worked well. I had to give up the iPad Pro recently, so I switched to a 15.6" USB-C display instead. Mac OS doesn't have a built-in way to flip the screen horizontally. I tried a bunch of solutions with varying levels of success:

• [Mac Mirror Flip Utility](https://telepromptermirror.com/mirror-flip-your-mac/ - only works on the app, not the whole display, and has a very low frame rate
• [OBS](https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/flipping-obs-projector-window-for-use-with-a-teleprompter.122202/ - I got it working, but it was awkward as hell and definitely not plug and play
• SwitchResX - no longer has the option to flip horizontally due to incompatibility with current macOS version.

Then I saw an old reddit thread mentioning Better Display and holy crap it works perfectly. Here's how to set it up:

1. Download and install BetterDisplay, but don't open it just yet
2. Open System Settings Privacy & Security Screen Recording
3. Click the '+' button and select /Applications/BetterDisplay.
4. Now open BetterDisplay
5. Click the new status bar item (the icon is a monitor) and navigate to Tools Create New Dummy Create and Associate to
6. Open System Settings Display and click Arrange, then place the "Dummy" monitor where you usually place your teleprompter monitor. Put your actual teleprompter monitor somewhere out of the way. For example, my teleprompter is called "AROZPA" so my arrangement is [AROZPA][Dummy][Main monitor].
7. Click the BetterDisplay icon again and then click the little downward-facing caret under the "Dummy" display to access all the options.
8. Enable Dummy Stream Dummy Flip Horizontally
9. Set the resolution of Dummy to the same resolution as your physical teleprompter monitor (mine is 1920x1080) with Dummy Set Resolution 1920x1080
10. Enable Dummy Stream Dummy AROZPA (Extended) (or whatever your monitor is named)

That's it! You should now have a working teleprompter display!
BetterDisplay has a free 14-day trial for the "Pro" features. I don't know if the free version includes the "Flip Horizontally" feature, but I was so happy to have a solution that I paid the $15 USD anyway. I have no affiliation with the developer, nor do I get any kickbacks. I am not a shill, just happy to have a working solution.
BTW, I haven't tried this on an iPad, but it should also work with SideCar.

It just seemingly dropped dead after doing factory reset after i left it charging for some time (est. 25-65min) on my computer. The battery had some issues related to charging among other things a week prior to this when I took it it away from my drawer.

I have TRIED the following to (hopefully) have a shot of fixing it:

- Using Windows Device Recovery Tool. (It wasn't able to do anything quick/soon enough before phone restarts)
- Using faster charger (not for longer than 1.5-2.5h)
- Doing the power and volume key combo for flash mode.
- Tried to flash the firmware manually but it didn't have time to do anything because of the looping.
- Took out the battery for longer periods of time to have it discharge.
- Applied slight pressure above the navigation bar during boot-up.
- Tried everything else on all of the forums with the same issue as mine.
- Replaced the battery with no luck.
I have NOT tried the following:
- Taken it into a repair shop. (i don't think repair stores offer service for windows phone devices anywhere within my country.)
Could it be a dead logic board perhaps? Or something else wrong with it? (I'd say unlikely since it didn't have anything else wrong with it except the battery)

My current PC specs are listed, and I am currently using the intergrated graphics of the CPU. For some reason, my latest imports aren't readable if stored on the network.
I use Lightroom Classic on Windows 10 and the files are stored on a Synology NAS. I've been doing this for more than 10 years and the last pictures I imported display 2 error messages :

• The file cound not be read when open in develop mode
• Lightroom encountered problem reading this file after import

I could move the files to an internal drive through Lightroom with no problem. Then I can develop the photos as usual. If I move them back to the network folder, I've got the same errors.
I do get the same kind of errors in previous imports. Files I had on for 10 years with no issues.
Any idea what's wrong or how to troubleshoot ?

Yesterday I was sitting in a local park, a coworker of mine with some car experience here said she's seen certain people creeping by the women's room. I think I saw them yesterday. One guy was pacing around for almost 2 hours with an empty cup in his hand. My setup is not exactly discreet, I had driven over to park by the bathrooms for easy access and I just so happened to park right between where a guy was parked in his truck and the entrance to the ladies side. The guy in the truck was constantly looking in my direction, not sure if at me or the bathrooms, but the guy pacing around was not being discreet about regularly passing the women's room and peeking in. The older guy walking around approached my car where I had my legs out the drivers door for airflow, just hanging out passing time. Until you look me in the face and hear my voice I'm often times taken as female (I'm female to male trans, been injecting testosterone for 10 years now but i like my hair nice colors). He came up and kinda mumbled, all I got was 'it's a nice day' and 'just enjoying the park'. When I answered in a tone that said let me enjoy the park alone he left, and the truck drove away.
About an hour later I finally get up to use the restroom. I went in the stall, did my business, sat on my phone glad to be out of the sun for a minute, when i hear a guy walk in. And i don't know how to tell you I knew it was this older guy from his footsteps. I saw his shoes approach my stall and wait there, he tried pushing my stall open. He didn't say 'anybody there?', there were other stalls available we were the only ones there. He said 'you have this locked?'. I've ran from several houses due to sexual assault, this instantly had me on full guard.
I said 'there's another stall available '. He did not move. When I exited the stall he did not enter it, he slowly started shuffling his way towards me while I went to wash my hands. Keep in mind this is an hour after he tried to make conversation and then pretended to drive away, he was clearly watching and followed me into the bathroom.
Before he could get too close I said 'Buddy you are doing some of the weirdest behavior I've seen in a while' and he tried to say 'what' and come in closer like he couldn't hear me. I have a very calm and reserved nature. Until you put me in a situation like that.
I raised my voice and said again 'mothafucka you are doing. Some weird ass. Behavior. If you need help get it somewhere else or you're tryna get yourself hurt.' I'm very tiny in stature but if I flex just a bit my veins pop and it's obvious I'm on some steroids. Gave him a look to let him know he was about to fuck with the wrong psycho.
The old guy guy mumbled 'oh okay' and left, I wish I'd got his plates but I did get a pic of his van as he drove off. I have a suspicion he and the white truck were together, my coworker said she's seen people by that description hanging by the bathrooms in that park before.
I think I'm actually going to start waiting in that park away from my car but within view, and just wait for one of them to try to touch it, or touch me or any person in that park. People underestimate me for my smaller stature, I will gladly put myself in a situation where self defense is appropriate to get to teach a creep like that a lesson with my own hands.
