For context, I'm 32, he's almost 60, I live with him because he wants me to live here because pooling our resources makes it really cheap for both of us, and it's going to allow me to save up to buy us a house to live in so we're not throwing away money in rent anymore.
The only problem is I can't stand to be around him, I don't want to live with him, I don't like anything about him, we don't have anything in common, in fact we're exact opposites on basically everything. I have nothing to talk about with him, and even if I did, he's always drunk, like 'seesawing back and forth, slurring, asking toddler-level questions but not being able to understand or remember the answers' drunk, every single day, without fail. He's not violent or mean or anything so I know I shouldn't complain since it could always be worse, but it's embarrassing, I don't want to live around it, and dealing with it makes me incredibly uncomfortable, and it literally ruins my night every night that I talk to him. He starts drinking as soon as he gets home from work, or if it's his day off, he starts drinking as soon as he's done with any driving errands he has to do, so basically mid-afternoon. He has absolutely positively no interest whatsoever in quitting drinking, as we've argued about it several times and I've told him more times than I can count that I don't think of him as a person when he's drunk and that we can't really have a relationship if I can't talk to him like a human being.
I should probably explain what I mean by that; It's kinda like how he felt when he had to take care of his mom who recently died of dementia, it's like you're talking to someone's body, but their brain really isn't in there at all, they don't remember anything you say, they don't have their mental faculties, they can't process simple information, they don't understand what's going on around them, they get extremely emotional at the drop of a hat over nothing, and they tell you the same thing over and over again every night, sometimes multiple times in a row. Did I just describe my drunk dad or his mom dying of dementia? Both. It's exactly the same behavior, except he only had to go through it with his mom for a year before she passed, and I've been going through this with him every day since I started making conscious memories.
It just makes me incredibly uncomfortable and I'm only able to give short quick irritated answers that go nowhere because I don't want to talk to him in that state, and there's no reason to go anywhere with it because he's not really in there and he's not really hearing me anyway, and he's definitely not capable of having a normal conversation. Like, tonight for example; I get off work at the same time every day. I usually go to my friend's house to hang out with him after work until my dad passes out so I don't have to talk to him. Tonight, though, as usually happens at least once or twice a week, my friend was already asleep, so I went straight home. So then I have to answer the same stupid questions that I've already answered before, over and over, from my dad; "How'd you get here so early!" -'my friend was asleep' "....yeah but it's still early..." -'I got off work at the same time I always do, I just usually go hang out with him first' "Okay man well hell what's wrong?" (visibly irritated because I'm shortening this, it's a lot more repetitive in real life, but I respond trying to be as nice as possible) -'nothing's wrong, I'm just tired, I just got off work man'. "Alright. Well what's that?" -'a nintendo switch (he's seen it a million times before)' "Alright.... so what's that?" -'a game for the switch, thanks for getting it out of the mailbox for me'. And then he just shuffles off into the other room when he finally figures out I got nothing to say to him and that he wouldn't understand any of it if I did.
And I know you're probably feeling sympathetic right now, like "Well at least he's trying to have a relationship with you and he's actually trying to reach out, cut him some slack, it could be way worse" and that would be true and fair enough, but that doesn't account for the fact that every single person including myself and my mom, who left him, has asked him to stop drinking if he really wants to have a relationship with us, and he outright refuses, and so we just treat him like a stupid old fool, because he always drinks himself into a drunken stupor every single day and so that's exactly how he acts. He just gets emotional when he's drunk, and that's when he wants to reach out, and that's alright I guess, but how about reaching out when you're sober and when I can actually kinda talk to you a little bit? How about use the one brain cell you have before you start drinking and try to figure out that you're an absolute burden and an old loser who needs to get his shit together, and could've had his shit together decades ago if you'd just fucking listen to every single person around you in your entire life who tells you to stop drinking? How about rub a couple of brain cells together when you're sober and realize you're the reason that your kids are losers too because you're our role model? How about a little give and take, especially when it's for your own good? That's what a relationship is, and that's what responsible adults do. But he refuses.
We're talking about the type of person who doesn't know any of their own usernames, passwords, or even his own email address. Because he never sat down and logged into any online service for himself ever, because he can't remember what a username and password even is. So every time he needs anything, which is all the time because he's always so drunk he can't understand what the english words on the TV screen are trying to tell him, I gotta come do the whole forgot your password rigamarole for every single account he has just so I can log into it again and figure out whatever issue he's having. Last shit I want to do after working a 10 or 12 hour shift, I just want to chill. And I have to do it for him because he acts like a helpless baby, and he's drunk and dumb as hell so I mean he can't do it for himself anyway even if he did give it a try. The type of person who looks at a screen that says a simple one-sentence message and an "okay prompt", takes five minutes to read it, and then turns to me and asks "Should I click okay?" It's just so annoying because I've told him about a million times that if he just stopped drinking and tried to practice using technology while he was sober, he would get the hang of it, and that if he made his own accounts and passwords instead of having people do it for him and tell him what they picked for him when he's drunk and forgets, that he wouldn't have any of these problems logging into stuff to begin with, because it'd be burned into his memory like it is for the rest of us normal people who do our own things for ourselves. And he says okay, but then he just never does it. In one ear and out the other. Just like when I asked him all those years ago again and again to stop drinking so we could have a decent relationship, in one ear and out the other.
We're talking about the type of person who was 100% behind and invested in Trump to the point where he even bought a few hats and regularly made ridiculous, racist, and braindead pro-republican propaganda posts on facebook. To the point where he'd get himself banned all the time and then come tell me about how he's in facebook jail again for trying to spread the truth. Or, well he used to, before I just started reacting with straight up anger and hatred towards conservatism every time anything political came up, and explained to him about a million times why it's not okay to support awful people, and now he's gone from "Trump 2020" to "well I never liked politics anyway and I suggest you stop paying attention to it or talking about it too because I'm a lot happier now that I don't". So it's like, the only victory I can get with this man, is "I give up and you should too". And that's a reflection of his entire life. He gave up a long time ago and I just want it to be over for him and for me, because that would be easier than telling him that what I really want is to just move across the country and never see or hear from him again, not buy a house where I gotta live with him and keep dealing with this shit until he dies. This doesn't even address any of our personality clashes, like how I'm quiet and he's loud, I hate dumb shit but he literally cranks up the most low-intellect brain dead dadrock unironically because that's what speaks to him, I like to read and think and he can barely read and barely think, all he wants to do is not pay taxes on his mom's inheritance that he's going to get soon and buy a boat and a truck to haul it so he can sit on the water and drink beer, all I want is to be financially responsible and pay my bills and taxes and be fucking quiet and do the right thing, and maybe raise a kid that has respect for me.
I'm angry and bitter and I've probably said some very mean things here, but it's just how I feel. I've brought up all of this to him in person several times in explicit detail, and he just doesn't have the brainpower or memory or willpower, or simply doesn't care enough to address any of it. I'm at a loss as to how I should engage with this. Thanks in advance for any help, and yes, I know I'm an asshole. I'm sorry. I'm just not happy.
TLDR: My dad started drinking when he was 17 and hasn't been sober a day since, I personally think his brain is mush even when he's sober but it's especially bad when he's drunk, and he's not violent or mean or anything it's just like dealing with a slobbering toddler and it annoys the piss out of me for several reasons, and because it's my dad, I'm obligated to take care of him and even buy a house where he's going to continue to annoy the piss out of me doing literally everything I hate about humanity right within my earshot and line of sight until he dies a messy death that I have to clean up. Any tips on how to deal with this without just hating my own father? I believe there's a good person somewhere underneath the alcohol, as he's somewhat coherent when I see him in the morning before work, and he has a job so they must think he's coherent as well, but as soon as he gets home and the not-bud-light (because it's gay now) gets cracked open, the brain flies out the window and it's back to braindead loud redneck wrestling and rock music and old shit he's seen a million times that wasn't even good back in the day, and hollering for me to come take a look at it, when I literally can't even hear my own TV over his (across the house) and I hate the shit and have no interest in it anyway.

John Fisher, it turns out, has made numerous negative comments against Blacks while growing up. His high school and college friends will attest to this. As people already know, his companies of the Gap, Old Navy, and Banana Republic also make it a point to use labor from third world countries to pay them 30 cents per hour. It is a documented part of his companies’ business plans to leverage human capital to create the biggest profit margins for him and his family. A simple review of his companies’ financials spell this out. In effect, this guy is bad news. It is amazing MLB and it’s owners coddle him. It should make people think and wonder about other owners and what they deem acceptable. Finally, look at, adjusted for cost of living, what he and his companies and A’s have NOT done for the Black community and communities he and his companies have exploited over the years. The press really should look at this and just realize the disparate impact of what he has not provided - even compared to Charlie O. Finley who, despite what Steve McCatty once said, actually has a heart for minorities and underserved of the East Bay. Oakland. BlackLivesMatter. BLM. Baseball.

After reading of some reddit pages on the same topic, I became curious as to what people think now after all the uh... revolution in culture and society, I guess, that has shaped first world society since 2010. Here's my take:
Brotherhood of Steel: They're okay. Well-armed and armoured, plus their goal is arguably noble. Seizing technology from the Wastes prevents the maniacs of the Wastes (ironically, like Father Elijah) from abusing them for whatever reasons undesirable. Their design is cool as well, plus they have proven intelligent. The thing with them is their isolationism, which although understandable given their predicament, is just not handled too well. As a result, they see themselves short of resources and lack of combat experience, despite being a military order of some kind.
Boomers: Vault 34 Boomers are not really smiled upon by me. Their isolationism can be compared to Imperial China (they think the outside world brings only harm and view everyone that's not them as savages), which is, in my opinion, a terrible policy. Despite their militarization, none of them know how to fight properly and they are lacking in resources. One other thing I don't like about them is their story with Vault 34. Now, I do admire the Boomers' engineering and resourcefulness. They're dedicated to restoring aircraft back to working condition AND they hauled artillery all the way from a foreign military base to Nellis. Their eldership hierarchy is also nice.
Caesar's Legion: Hated by many, but I smile upon them. A military stratocracy which is basically an army occupying a vast amount of land rather than a nation, and they make good use of it. Conquering and assimilating the tribes into what Caesar refers to as a "monolithic culture" may not be the best idea today, but I see it as a very beneficial idea for the Wastes. Slavery is unethical, but the Wastes are a brutal place and the Legion brings benefits with it. Slavery is an unfortunate side-effect of long-term stability, seeing as the Legion's definition of slavery teaches everyone to revere the Legion. The massacres and genocide have essentially the same effect, despite being moreso unethical than slavery. A society that relies on pragmatism and meritocracy in place of hierarchal power (ironically) and wealth defines the Legion, but perhaps this would change after the conquest of New Vegas. Caesar himself claimed that he found Rome in New Vegas, and that with it, he would transform the Legion into a stratocratic army into an actual empire. Caesar's prohibition of technology is also rather understandable, although like many of the ideas generally seen as stupid such as large-scale slavery, may end after the Empire is established and solidified. Many claim that Caesar's Legion will fall apart after Caesar dies, and that even if it didn't the empire would fall apart once they conquer the west and reach the Pacific. I, for one, oppose these accusations. The formation of an actual state after the conquest of Vegas will turn it into a legitimate country like the NCR rather than a large army with a bunch of land. It could have enough soldiers to hold the west and the east by conscripting and slave-taking in the west. Legion crushes opposition by slaughter, which is a double-edged but effective sword when it comes to suppressing separatists. Legion lands are also undoubtedly safe, and will remain to be. Love it or hate it, the Legion is not as bad as people say.
Fiends: I don't like them, but can't blame them. Vegas doesn't exactly do well by the region's people, being a supplier of drugs and gambling. Fiends are the worst of the worst, people high on drugs and crazy as a dog with rabies. Visiting Vault 3 can even yield overdosed Fiend members, and there really isn't anything to like about them.
Great Khans: I love them. Not much to hate about the Khans other than the fact that they shot you in the head and manufacture drugs, though they cannot really be blamed for the latter.
Independent: No.
NCR: I don't support them. The NCR is an unstable state with numerous prominent centers of population, obviously an opposite of the Legion. Its cities such as Shady Sands and Vault City are magnificent, it's just that the establishment is not. With such corruption in its roots that is inevitable in a democratic capitalist state, you see results like General Lee Oliver. NCR is a republic of debauchery where wealth dictates what's right or wrong, like it is with the case of Heck Gunderson.
New Vegas: I love it. Mr. House is wise, pragmatic, and autocrat for life. Even before the war, he was a genius beyond reprehension. Normally I disagree with radical technological advancements like VR contact lenses, but it's a different story when it comes to the Fallout universe. Mr. House is unethical just like Caesar's Legion, but just like the Legion, it's the driving force behind a greater step towards bettering mankind. Whereas Caesar plans to convert people into sufficient and prosperous figures instead of the hedonists of Vegas and NCR, Mr. House seeks to do so through technological advancement.
Powder Gangers: Same opinion as with Fiends with a twist.

Hi, As an investor on over a dozen deals on Crowdstreet platform over the years, I sincerely hope the platform do well. You probably notice the number of not-so-decent sponsors, unclosed deals, capital calls have been on the rise.
I had several questions for CS management recently. Here are their responses:
On Nightingale and vetting sponsors:
"Both Nightingale and the deals in question received the same objective review as all other Sponsors and deals on the CrowdStreet Marketplace. This includes a background check for all new Sponsors and financial vetting. Nightingale has experience in the office sector and a track record of completed deals. Nightingale and its projects have been impacted by dramatic increases in interest rates. As the deals extended and financing terms changed, Nightingale updated investors and honored rescission requests. Those requests escalated as the delays became extraordinary, and the pace and consistency of Nightingale’s refunds declined. We promptly stepped in to try to assess why and resolve the situation. While we do conduct a thorough review of each sponsor on the Marketplace, we cannot predict when a sponsor will act outside of the agreed parameters."
I suggested a minimum sponsor minimum equity in any deal to at least 20% so they have a skin in the game. CS didn't respond to that.
On how to make sure sponsors close on properties and land before sending CS investors' money into partnership account:
As CrowdStreet has transitioned to a broker dealer, we are now able to and will soon introduce escrow accounts as part of the funding process for Marketplace investments. Assets in these escrow accounts will not be released to fund the investment until the Sponsor is set to close on the property, allowing CrowdStreet to expedite refunds if a deal does not close as expected or if the terms of the investment materially change."
A great news here imo. This will weed out shaddy revised partnership agreement (I have seen sponsor adding preferred equity aka debt at high interest and make the deal 80% leverage instead of 65% in original offering without CS management and investors approval.) and sponsors never closing on the property.
On bring Forum feature back on Crowdstreet:
"We have been in the process of evaluating how to enable investors to share their insights and what technology solutions best support our investor experience. While that evaluation process continues, we concluded last summer (June 2022) that we would stop opening forums for new deals due to newly applicable regulations regarding archival and supervision of communications with our investors."
This feature allowed investors on the same deal to discuss. I hope CS brings it back but the answer is No. I told CS management about this subreddit forum, hope they will learn and offer something more official where Sponsor can also join the discussion.

Spoiler-y review/experience reading:
I decided to reread Warbreaker by listening to the audiobook while going about my day, remembered liking it and some particular scenes sprung to mind for me (specifically Vivenna's storyline with the mercenaries) but a lot of the conclusion was hazy for me.
It has a strong start, I think Sanderson is very good at getting the reader invested in his stories but after the first quarter it really fell apart for me. About 2/3 of the books main POVs are focused on the upper crust intrigue of Hallandren but it felt like nothing was happening 90% of the time (outside of some occasionally nice character moments and progressions through their arcs). We're told at the start of the story that war is on the horizon and that Siri becoming queen can help prevent this conflict and they proceed to repeat that over and over and over until the what's really going on is revealed. I understand the in story reason for this (that Denth was undermining any kind of goodwill etc) but for a book so focused on aristocrats and royalty I was hoping for a more interesting political angle. Just largely felt like Sanderson was spinning his wheels until the Pahn Kahl revolution got uncovered fully. The entire story being built around the misdirect that Bluefingers was behind everything all along at least provided an explanation for why it felt like we could never learn anything of real substance in the court plotlines.
I also take serious issue with said revolution on several levels. Despite my frustrations with the plot and other things I'll get to in a bit I did like Susebron and Siri, that said I simply do not understand how we're supposed to view the Pahn Kahl revolution as anything other than justified. This was a large block on my enjoyment, as while I can forgive the literal conclusion of the story feeling slightly rushed it felt as though Sanderson didn't truly consider what was being said with the rebellion, am I supposed to be happy that the rebels get quashed and go back to being second class citizens? or are we suppose to assume that Siri will put forward sweeping reforms or some such? Wish there was more elaboration as the entire plotline left a bad taste in my mouth.
My last real frustrations, and I truly mean no offensse when I say this, is that I think Sanderson felt a bit too squeamish when talking about some of the more adult elements of the story. This isn't to imply I think his Mormonism was peaking through or anything, but the way characters talked about sex felt incredibly juvenile to me. There was some quote towards the beginning I don't have exactly where Siri declares something along the lines of "Of course I know what sex is!" in a way that I guess makes sense for her character but as a reader felt incredibly awkward and not in the intended way. Lightsong and Blushweaver's interactions were also largely very painful for me, as not only did I not find Lightsong's humor particularly impressive or witty, but also because every scene between the two of them felt as though they went through the exact same conversation every time (and that's not even mentioning the endless mention of how attractive she is, I understand why Lightsong would be thinking about that but it got tiresome to me after a point).
I'm just not a fan overall sadly, and was curious what others thought. I found Vivenna's plotline to be the highlight and has the most memorable moments and character work in my opinion, but outside of that I struggled to push through to an unsatisfying end.

A little context: I graduated from college in 2018 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a major in Information Technology Management.
Initially when I started college, I wanted a BS in Computer Science, however, with zero experience in coding, or the knowledge that that’s what the field of CS entailed, I was quickly weeded out of the program and had to decide fast what to do with my college years.
So, I went with a major in Information Technology Management thinking it would be sort of like Computer Science, but really it was nothing like that and I also didn’t realize until graduation that what I was getting was primarily a business degree.
Moving forward, I haven’t worked what I would consider great or enjoyable professions post-college. I worked as a Help Desk IT Support Agent at an e-commerce company formerly owned by eBay, but then 2020 rolled around and I was let go from the position due to COVID lay-offs.
I lived off federal and state unemployment with pandemic assistance from about March 2020 to January 2021, at which point it ran out and I had to figure out a new work position to make ends meet. I got hired for another IT Specialist type position working from home, which I was terminated from in October of 2021 due to not being able to perform to the quality assurance standards of the company.
I then worked as a call center agent servicing credit card accounts for Capital One from December 2021 to about April 2022, and I absolutely detested the position. I ended up using all of my sick days to get out of having to work for about two months before one of my supervisors called me and asked if I was okay, at which point I was honest with them in saying I didn’t want to work the job anymore and was quitting.
After that, I got a job working for Apple as another call center agent doing online sales support in June of 2022. Pretty much the same thing happened as the Capital One job where I really hated the job and my disdain for it resulted in me self-sabotaging my performance to the point that they had to separate from employment with me.
Now I’ve been unemployed since January of this year, and while I did get accepted for a new job as a Help Desk Analyst at Cigna projected to start in two weeks, I can’t help but feel that I am totally lost in what I want to do with my life for a career going forward, and what I could possibly do with my degree and past work experience that isn’t going to be the same IT support positions that I’ve grown to hate.
I feel that I have grown and matured a lot since graduating college in understanding what it looks/feels like to be broke, and it was because of hitting these multiple rock bottoms that I’ve learned how important it is to have employment and steady income, even if the job isn’t a favorable one, but I would like to improve from this upcoming Cigna job to doing something I would actually enjoy even just 1% more than prior roles.
I have always had a passion for the arts and entertainment, but I don’t know how I could translate that to realistically working in that field and making a living off of it. I’ve also become more aware, realistic, and less delusional about the difficulty and grind one has to endure if they ever wish to succeed in the world of the arts. Also something I realize now that I didn’t a few years ago is that you need money to support your essential bills before you can nurse your dreams, hobby’s, or other interests. So while working in the entertainment or arts industries would be great, I wish I could figure out what the hell to do with my Business Administration degree in the meantime.
People tell me it’s great I have the business degree because it leaves me open to many job opportunities, but truthfully I don’t know what those would possibly be. When looking up positions one could attain with such a degree, I only see jobs such as Commercial Loan Officer, Sales Manager, HR Manager, Financial Manager, or Market Research Analyst-all of which sound like soul-sucking and miserable jobs to me. I really don’t want or find any enjoyment out of being a manager.
It is for this reason I come to /careerguidance to ask what would you do in my situation? How do I make use of what I went to school for for four years? How can I transition to a career I actually want to wake up in the morning for from a degree I never wanted and crummy jobs I hated?
That’s all I can think of for now, any and all advice is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Like at all. A world with computers making art and music couldn’t seem more pointless and unenjoyable to me. I don’t want to be a part of it. I am an artist by trade so my financial concerns are obviously an issue but it makes me doubt why we’re here at all in a myriad of ways. I can’t imagine a more poignant way to destroy our existence and culture than making computers responsible for our writing, music, artwork and eventually politics. It disgusts me. Capitalism disgusts me.

Introduction:

With all the hype around AI and NVDA, this could be a strong catalyst for launching GOOG into its intrinsic value. Most of the climb had already taken place over the weeks. But, given that currently AI is the flavor of the month I'd be a little worried about adding more positions into GOOG. As a disclaimer, I have positions on GOOG since last year that I've been closing out and cashing in on my gains. I've linked my DCF, Revenue model and Cost model all at the bottom.

REVENUE:

Cloud
%Rev, Cloud is an area gaining massive traction due to how much convenience it adds, And the switching cost of cloud is massive, having to port over the entire database into competitors and retraining employees, so the loyalty of Cloud customers are strong.
So, I’d argue that Cloud starts becoming a big part of GOOG’s identity.
Y/Y, Cloud grows at CAGR of 19% according to (SOURCE). I believe GOOG to be capable of capturing most of that 19%. But, 19% may be overly optimistic as it requires for the next 8 years about 40+% Y/Y which seems unrealistic to me, given how cloud is already such a large part of GOOG. So I used a Y/Y CAGR of 13.32%
Advertising
%Rev, Advertising is still going to be a big part of GOOG’s identity, however with cloud gaining traction Advertising's role may be diminished.
Y/Y, Advertising will see its Y/Y tapering off rather than taking off. I’d argue that the growth of AI related technology like ChatGPT may render GOOG’s search less effective given how ChatGPT seems to be an enhanced Google Search. Luckily, GOOG's has its own contender of ChatGPT, Bard. Bard is trained on Audio data whereas ChatGPT is trained on text data, so the effectiveness of these AI is dependent on how the user inputs data for the AI to process. Ultimately, which AI will take off is dependent on which modal of communication consumers prefer.
Recently, GOOG has announced its plans to launch Duet AI, AI to help augment the experience on both cloud and Search. It’s definitely a step forward in the right direction, Duet AI could be complementary to Google’s already dominant search as not every search will likely be using AI due to how long that would take.
Others
%Rev, With so many components in Others, there may be less focus placed on this segment of the business so it’ll take a smaller pie of GOOG’s revenue.

Given the competitiveness of Competing technology against GOOG’s main Traffic generator, I’d argue that it could be significantly costlier to acquire traffic overtime. Recently I've been reading Homo Deus which made a fair point about Dataism. As our data interpreter (AI) gets more and more accurate, you'd be at a disadvantage to not use AI in your day to day life. So if we have this paradigm shift of trusting and relying on AI, TAC has a huge potential of decreasing. But, given how little regulation and promising technology on AI there has been so far this may be either too far out into the future or just impossible entirely.
COST OF REVENUES
GOOG has lumped Content Review, Content Acquisition and Data Centre together in COST OF REVENUES.

1. Content Review: Needing Employees to manually sieve through content for compliance. As the service gets more popular, more content means needing more employees. (Variable Cost) BUT I'd argue that it could be a negligible one overtime as AI gains dominance and can track content in place of humans. (Fixed Cost)
   
2. Content Acquisition: GOOG has stated it uses a cost price model for determining the amount of content acquired. (Variable Cost)
   
3. Data Centre: Fixed infrastructure in place, but more of Data center used means GOOG needs higher bandwidth which means higher cost (Variable Cost)
   

Since these are variable costs, I’d argue the extent that GOOG can reduce these costs to improve margins are limited.
R&D
R&D the cornerstone of GOOG’s business philosophy will always retain a fixed % of revenue. As evident from historic data where the spread of R&D with respect to Revenue was rather small.
So, R&D maintains a fixed % with respect to revenue. But eventually when GOOG matures, I’d argue that R&D tends downwards.
Sales & Marketing + G&A
Sales & Marketing + G&A also followed the same historic patterns of R&D where they always occupied the same % with respect to revenue with a small spread.
So, Sales & Marketing + G&A occupies a fixed % with respect to revenue. But eventually when GOOG matures and develops a strong branding relies less on marketing so it tends downwards a little.

CONCLUSION:

GOOG is priced at $146.02, GOOG’s recent innovations have been made only in response to competitors. It’s more reactive rather than proactive which may be a bad thing given how strongly ChatGPT has since established its dominance over GOOG. For GOOG to improve its valuation it needs to peer deeper into the AI realm and look towards augmenting AI to compliment its advertising segment e.g. Using AI to help advertisers or to manage Ad Inventory.
