TLDR: decided to leave since there is no important progress being made towards yandere simulator 9+ year development hell and wanted to see the train crash.
Iv decided to just leave and move on we all know yandere simulator will never be finished with yandere simulator being in development hell for 9+ years suffering from feature creep and an incompatint developer with no idea/progress being made towords the end goal. There hasn't been a big/major update since 1980s mode was released Whitch doubles yandevs work load. I've stuck around to see what would happen but now im moving on.

My parents used to leave me home to babysit my little brother when I was 6. He was 4 at the time. We’d wrestle and fight . One day they came home and we were just playing around…. Didn’t think anything out of the ordinary til my dad pulled me aside. “I know what you’re going through, but it’s wrong. You can’t touch your brother like that. My dad used to touch us and and and…. Well! Just don’t do that. “ He realized he was admitting to it. Accusing me because he was molested. For years I thought it was hereditary or some kinda fucked up family trait. I felt guilty and ashamed everywhere I went . I always felt like people knew . Or could see. Idk.
My fears of becoming a pedo actually created a wedge between my sons and I as they entered they’re potty training years. Motherly instincts dissipated. I was terrified I’d do the same thing. Like it was some ticking time bomb. I lost custody of my kids due to poor choices and circumstance. I was slightly happy bc then I knew for sure that they’re dad “would never” and fully believed they were safer without me in their life. Going through SA for nearly 17years has got me second guessing everything . Life is a fucked up coke whore driving an atv through the mud swamps…. Never know what’s gonna happen- you just pray for the best I guess and cross your fingers . To be clear I’ve never had those pedo urges. I don’t know if my fears are unfounded. My children have almost forgiven me for traumatizing them by separation…but now i try to heal and prepare for grandkids… what’s that gonna be like? Hope im not distant and cold out of fear…. God help us.

The Lore

This world is a world much like our own with one major difference. During the Apollo 11 Moon landing mission, a vibrant wave of energy erupted from the Moon, spreading outward and washing over the Earth. Contact with the Apollo 11 crew was completely lost and they were considered missing in action. However, something odd began happening on Noveterra that temporarily drove the incident on the Moon and the potential loss of the astronauts from everyone's mind. Humans all across the planet were starting to develop wondrous and bizarre abilities. These super people became labeled as Metas, and those Metas who chose to use their gifts for the greater good became the first official Superheroes.
With these Metas and their strang3 abilities, people started to realize odd changes in physics and the world around them. Instead of putting their hands right through the metal, people with amazing strength could lift cars! People with super speed could run at tremendous speeds without worrying about friction as much! People began to transmit sound through space, even though space was still a vacuum.
Within the decade after the first wave of energy, people across the world began to notice that each year, fewer Metas were discovered. That was until another wave blasted the Earth exactly 10 years after the first. This second wave was enough to raise suspicions across the world that a ten-year cycle was going to be their norm for the foreseeable future. In preparation for the potential third wave the world's governments, under the leadership of the United Nations, began formulating global initiatives to help accommodate the influx of Metas.
One of the UN’s first initiatives was to officially recognize Metas who stepped forward to pledge the use of their powers in service to the planet. Those Metas were officially given the title of "Superhero" by the government organization known as the VAPS, or the Victory Association of Protection and Service, and a new age of super heroics began.
The current year is 2035, and after multiple decades of waves bringing new powers into being, the world knows to be prepared. Luckily, you and your peers are part of the next class of heroes being trained to help at the Illustrious Spectrum Academy for Hero Training. You and your classmates will be molded and trained into the next wave of defenders of the innocent and just. Let's just hope nothing crazy happens before your college experience is complete.

The Start

Everyone's characters will be going to the Spectrum Academy for Hero Training. We'll go from there. I was envisioning a 4-year college experience with maybe a continuation into actual hero work if people are still interested in doing that sort of thing.

Logistics

This game will be played with the Prowlers and Paragons system. If you've never heard of it, or you have and have never played, don't worry, I'll go over how everything works and how to build characters during Session 0. That being said, Session 0 will be on June 4th, and the first regular session will be on June 18th. We'll continue like that, every other week. Also, feel free to go a bit exotic with your superhero ideas so long as they fit into the setting and tone of the game.
I personally like to do 65/35 roleplay/combat for my games, and I do tend to play them mostly lighthearted and fun, though I do like to insert moments of seriousness and tension at periodic moments, so if that sort of game sounds your cup of tea, I'd really love to GM for you :3

My name is Infinity, and I'm studying professional film animation in college. I love to draw and I've loved superheroes since I was around 11. I enjoy creating evolving storylines with players, taking their backstories into account, inputting stuff the players ask me to, the whole 9 yards. basically, if you're having fun, I'm having fun! That being said, I'm a bit dense, so if you want me to change something about the world, the game, or the story, don't be afraid to ask me about it, and we can work together to come to a satisfying solution for everyone :).

Been looking for a mod for this. Returned to Skyrim after a long drought of 7 long years and started up a new game. Haven't been able to stop playing since. The magic is still there. Especially now that the game is mature with all mods updated. My updated load order was well worth the wait.
RPing a patriotic Nord/Son of Skyrim Stormcloak with a dedicated TG & DB side hustle. My PC's dark ambitons in his lucrative side gigs are only surpassed by his love of family. To which he wasted no time in re-courting and marrying Mjoll (after reuniting her with Grimsever). After marriage, accepted her shield maiden tank services and set about adventuring/building his dynastic ambitions. Acquiring a power base (behind her back) from quickly rising in ranks through the TG & DB guilds. Using his glamorous, lucrative career as an Associate in the famed Explorer's Society at the Solitude Dragonborn Gallery museum as a front for his nefarious TG & DB activities. Then politically rising in local Hold politics to Thane of all the Holds. And exploiting the Civil War as a double agent spy arms dealeStormcloak soldier. While gaining massive dynastic wealth from all his war related trading business ventures. From my PC's perspective, the civil war isn't hell. It's a unique windfall opportunity.
TL DR
My now wealth PC TG & DB master now has his socioeconomic and political power bases secured. He's starting to settle into retirement and raising his 6 beloved children (rescued in his adventuring days from Greylod the Kind and the streets). He also acquired a TON of increasingly impressive real estate in process of this rise to power. Assets ranging from country manors to profitable business ventures all over Skyrim.
But as he ages, his mind has turned to dynastic thoughts and preservation of his linage. Given his 6 children, which ones were the best to receive what real estate based on their personalities and backstory? Love to get some feedback from folks. Thinking about creating a simple Will mod? that will let the PC bequeath their wealth to family members and NPCs alike. Because next to Mjoll and the kids, Lydia and Serena deserve their own manors after all!

2023.06.11 03:21 Impossible_Beach_909 This is How Legacy Characters Should Be Treated!

I like Barry Allen & Hal Jordan.
But for a lot of kids who grew up in the late 90s/early 2000s, such as myself, Wally West & John Stewart is OUR Flash & Green Lantern. For a brief period they became more popular to the general audience than Barry & Hal, primarily due to the success of Justice League/Justice League: Unlimited.
But also because Barry had been dead for 23 YEARS, it reached to the point where Wally West would be referenced as The Flash in other works, like this scene from Daddy Day Care (skip to 1:21).
Then Hal Jordan returned in 2005, followed by the return of Barry Allen in 2008.
As a result, Wally West was written out of existence during the New 52 Era of DC. And John Stewart pretty much got sidelined since Hal Jordan's return.
All of a sudden Barry Allen & Hal Jordan started making more appearances in animated works such as: The Batman (TV Series)), Justice League: The New Frontier, Green Lantern: First Flight, Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, Justice League: Doom, and the DC Animated Movie Universe (DCAMU).
I remember a lot of us kids at the time didn't even know who Hal Jordan was, until he ended up getting a live-action movie). I was in 7th Grade, I remember we were all like "Wtf?! Why is he white? He's supposed to be Black!", but then we eventually found out Hal Jordan was Green Lantern BEFORE John Stewart lmfaoo.
Hal also ended up getting an animated series (which was really good, highly recommended!). Barry Allen's popularity blew up after the success of the animated Flashpoint movie. Then he ended getting a live-action series), & now he's getting his own movie) (coincidentally also being a Flashpoint movie).
Wally West has been back since 2016 after DC Rebirth, but him being written out of existence for 5 years while Barry Allen is now more popular than ever, clearly affected fan's appeal for Wally West.
John Stewart is receiving a bit of love again, after it was revealed that he was supposed to be the Green Lantern of the DCEU, on top of that he finally got an animated movie, which unfortunately was pretty mid since he was just an amalgamation of Kyle Rayner, but at least it's SOMETHING. And he's going to be appearing in James Gunn's DCU in the show Lanterns#Lanterns).
The point I'm trying to make is that for 20 years, for a lot of kids who grew up in the late 90s/early 2000s, such as myself, Wally West & John Stewart is OUR Flash & Green Lantern. And they were THE Flash & Green Lantern at the time.
Then DC took a step backwards by bringing back Barry Allen & Hal Jordan.
And now, after seeing the success of the Playstation Spider-Man games) & the Spider-Verse movies, Miles Morales is currently the MOST SUCCESSFUL Legacy Character since Wally West & John Stewart.
And just like us kids who grew up with Wally West & John Stewart as The Flash & Green Lantern, there's going to be a generation of kids who are going to grow up with Miles Morales as THEIR Spider-Man, and I LOVE that for them!
That's how Legacy Characters are supposed to be treated, they're supposed to carry the torch that their predecessors lighted. NOT carry it for a moment just to hand it back. (\cough** Dick Grayson's Batman) \cough**).
TL;DR: In the late 90s/early 2000s, Wally West (Flash) & John Stewart (Green Lantern) gained popularity, especially among kids, through shows like Justice League/Justice League: Unlimited. This was because the original Flash, Barry Allen, had been dead for a long time, & Wally West took over. However, Barry Allen & Hal Jordan returned in the mid-2000s, leading to Wally West & John Stewart becoming irrelevant. Barry & Hal became more prominent in animated & live-action works, gaining popularity. Wally West made a comeback in 2016 but struggled due to Barry's increased popularity. John Stewart is slowly getting attention again. Wally West & John Stewart were THE Flash & Green Lantern for the generation I grew up with, & I see DC's decision to bring back the originals as a step backwards. With the recent success of Miles Morales (Spider-Man), I see that a new generation will embrace him as their Spider-Man, just like how generation embraced Wally West & John Stewart. Legacy Characters represent the future, not just temporarily hold the torch.

Howdy all,
For context, I am being promoted to Shipping & Logistics Supervisor at my company, and finally getting some help. We are a small business and I have been the “logistics department” for going on two years. I’ve interviewed and hired someone else who will be working under me, and as a part of this process I want to improve our process and collective knowledge. Our company does a lot of international work , more so now as we undergo some massive upgrade projects for customers with numerous international locations. While I have a general understanding of the ins and outs of international regulations and how to find what forms or information I need, I wouldn’t mind a refresher, as well as having something solid to provide to our new hire as part of their training.
One issue; I don’t know what to look for. I’ve done some googling and found some more intensive certifications such as IATA, but I am also transitioning to a project management role at the same time and don’t have time to spend months on webinars and training modules, as well as trying to onboard the new hire at the same time. Is there some certification that is worthwhile, but also cost and time effective?

I believe I read somewhere that new flight attendants from jetBlue are required to be at JFK or BOS for at least a year, and then they can ask to be transferred. Is that true?
